Obama Has No Clue

After a 4 million dollar vacation that was extended for his wife (at a cost to taxpayers) B. Hussein Obama, Imperial Leader, returned home to talk about how much he hated income inequality. Granted, the taxpayer footed most of the bill for his vacation but since Obama is a millionaire his words are insincere.

The Obama family has income in addition to his $400,000 a year salary and their combined income places them in the highest tax bracket. Ironically, Obama paid an effective rate of about 18% last year which is only four percent higher than Mitt Romney paid and Democrats had a field day over the Romney tax bill.

Obama is pushing for an extension of unemployment benefits to people who are out of work. He thinks that Congress should pass another extension, something they did not do in the last budget deal. Obama thinks that unemployment creates jobs and sparks the economy but he is wrong.

Many folks do not look for real work because the jobs they can get pay less than the unemployment they receive for doing nothing.

You cannot solve an unemployment problem by giving people money not to work. The Imperial Leader had an East Room event on Tuesday where he brought out unemployed people for show while he made his case.

How did they get there? Who paid for that? Seems to me they should have been looking for a job.

The economy will never recover as long as we have record numbers of people on unemployment and welfare. There is no incentive to work when there is money for nothing.

The best way for people to get money is to work for it.

Here is an idea. How about we make people take the jobs illegals are doing? We can put them to work and send the illegals back where they came from.

Might not pay as much as unemployment but who cares? The people will either have to work for the money the employer pays or get no money at all.

It is time to clean up the economy and put people to work and that means, in some cases, we will have to force them into jobs by refusing them continued unemployment.

Unfortunately, the Imperial Leader has no clue. How could he when he only cares about income inequality that does not affect his bottom line…

What Do The Unemployment Numbers Tell Us?

It Depends on who you ask….

The April jobless numbers were released today and unemployment has dropped to 7.5% as employers created 165,000 jobs. The jobs created number will certainly be revised and the unemployment data is skewed, as it has been all along, to make things look much better than they are. ADP shows that only 119,000 jobs were added in April and its numbers are probably more realistic than the governments.

But if we take the government’s numbers as accurate then we can draw a conclusion Obama and his mouth pieces will not point out. The cuts to government have not hurt the economy.

[note]9.5 MILLION people have left the US workforce since Obama took office…[/note]

Yes, Obama will tell us how wonderful things are because of what he has done and his followers will swoon at the words of their dear leader and while he touts the phony numbers he will not state the reality that if the numbers are real (as he contends with his assertions that we are recovering) then one can only conclude that the Sequestration and the budget cuts have not hurt us.

Keep in mind that the cuts are not real cuts. We are still spending more money this year than last or in any of the previous years. The cut was in the rate or amount of growth. Think of it as still crashing but doing it at a slower speed.

So if we are to believe the government’s numbers we can safely say that the cuts did not hurt us and, in fact, things got better. So in order to make things continue to improve we need to CUT MORE.

If we cut the spending back to the levels of 2008 then we could be well on our way to prosperity.

This can’t happen though because Obama and the progressives are big government cheerleaders who believe that the only way to improve is to continue to grow government and for government to spend more and more.

[note]The unemployment rate in the government is at about 3.3%, well below the national average.[/note]

Obama will never admit that cuts are good for the economy and the country because it is not in his DNA. He will not associate any good news with the cuts and will continue to say the cuts are bad and that we need to spend more. We spent a fortune over his first 4 and a half years and unemployment remains high. His dire warnings about the effects of cuts are not playing out even though the government’s numbers show that cuts are not hurting us (once again, if we accept the numbers as true).

Even if we demonstrate the numbers are flawed the effects of the cuts are good. The debacle at the airports and the claims of Armageddon did not pan out as Congress quickly reversed the plans that Obama and his transportation people claimed were the only option. Obviously there was another option and it was quickly exercised by Congress. It is worthy to note that Congress did this because they were being impacted by the delays. We can’t have our overlords delayed from their work…

In any event, cuts are good and we need to make more of them. Obama has no idea how budgets work. He has never had to make a payroll and has never run a business. He has not been successful at anything except running for office.

He is hell bent on pushing a progressive agenda regardless of the consequences.

Well the government’s latest numbers show that the sequestration is not having a negative impact. The cuts are good for us and the only reason there are any problems is because Obama has directed that cuts be imposed in a fashion to cause the most harm.

Most people are not affected by the sequestration and Obama is trying to impact as many people as he can but it will not work. He can close the White House to tours but he loses credibility when he then opens it to wealthy donors.

Yes, he is a man child and is way out of his league.

And it is time for us to step up and make sure he can do no further harm.

Romney Was A Republican Governor

Mitt Romney is not the most conservative choice for president but he is the presumptive nominee and one thing is for certain, he is a hell of a lot more conservative than Obama. He is not a Socialist and he does not believe in the Rules for Radicals agenda that Obama and his minions follow. Romney is pretty much a decent guy who is straight laced. His life, unlike that of Barack Obama, is an open book. One can track Romney from a very young age and know all about him.

With Obama, many years are missing or hidden. Obama’s life is certainly NOT an open book.

Many of us do not like Obamacare and the massive taxes imposed by it. Those on the left claim Romney started the thing in Massachusetts and that Obama copied Romney’s plan.

Perhaps, but Romney was the Governor of a state and states have the latitude to try such things. The federal government does not. Romney’s plan was paid for with state money and if it did not work the state could get rid of it. If people did not like it they could move to another state.

Obamacare uses our tax money to pay for people all over the country (citizen and illegal alike) and it, like any government program, will never be killed off once it is implemented. Additionally, if people do not like it there is no place for them to go.

So yes, Romney was a Republican governor but what does that have to do with anything?

The states that elected Republican governors in 2010 have an average unemployment rate that is lower than the Obama rate and that is lower than most states run by Democrats.

Yep, the states with Republicans in charge have a lower average unemployment rate than their Democrat counterparts and Obama at the federal level.

This was not the case for states that elected Democrats in 2010. For instance, the unemployment rate in New York actually went up. On average, states that elected Republican governors in 2010 saw their unemployment rates decrease at a faster clip than states that elected Democrats and the unemployment rate at the national level did.

This is yet another example of how the so-called “blue state” model is not working. [linked article]

Obama was never a leader in anything. He did not run a business and he had no leadership positions in the state or US elected offices he held prior to his current position. The only “leadership” he was involved in was as a community agitator. Other than that, nothing, zip, zilch, zero, nada…

So Obama was never a governor but Romney was and a Republican one at that.

If Republican governors have lowered the unemployment rate and Democrat governors have not which person should run the country; the guy with no experience or the Republican governor who has decades of leadership experience?

The nation is stuck at 8.2% unemployment as Obama’s failed policies have not made a difference. Obama and his failed policies have made things worse and he wants four more years to finish the job, to get it right, to make things better…

He has been a wrecking ball in three and a half years. If he gets four more years he will be free (remember, he told the Russians he would have more flexibility) to put the final nail in the Country’s coffin.

If you had a company that needed help to survive, which of these two would you pick to help you? If you had a million dollars to invest, which of the two would you want to invest it for you?

You know the answer as well as I do.

Obama must go.

Pelosi Gets Dumber Each And Every Day

Did you know that extending unemployment benefits will create jobs? Nancy Pelosi says that extending them would create 600,000 jobs!

“The unemployment insurance extension is not only good for individuals. It has a macroeconomic impact. As macroeconomic advisers have stated, it would make a difference of 600,000 jobs to our economy,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said at a briefing on Capitol Hill Real Clear Politics

How will paying people NOT to work create jobs? How will extending the time people can sit home and draw unemployment suddenly create in them a desire to get up and get a job?

How can taking taxpayer money (money we do not have) and paying it to people who are not working create more jobs? The only jobs I see possibly coming out of this are government jobs for people to handle the unemployment claims. Those jobs, if they were created, would cost more taxpayer money we do not have and would certainly NOT get anywhere close to 600,000.

No Nancy, extending unemployment will NOT create any jobs. Not one, not ten, not 600,000. If extending unemployment created that many jobs we would have no unemployment because we have extended those benefits out to more than two years. Those past extensions did NOT create jobs and any new extension will fail just as miserably.

This is typical liberal thinking (though the term thinking is a stretch) and it shows, once again, that liberalism is a mental disorder.

Why The Obama Stimulus Is A Failure

A case study:

Despite all the spin the Stimulus did NOT create jobs in numbers of any consequence. The Dems are crowing now about the unemployment rate drop to below 9% but that will likely go up after Christmas when seasonal employees end their run. It is also worthy to note that if the same number of people were looking for jobs today as were in 2007 the unemployment rate would be 11%.

Don’t worry, Debbie Washer Woman Schultz says unemployment is not increasing.

You can make any claim if you manipulate the numbers your way…
