The Poe Birthday Celebration is held at the Westminster Hall which is right in the middle of the University of Maryland downtown campus. It's probably one of the safest area's in Baltimore City to walk around in. But Always on Watch already knows that. I always get a kick out of people who haven't a clue about what they are talking about.

For my money the best point is Obama painting Clinton as politics as usual or the status quo in Washington during the primaries but tapping their DNC 'brand' for everything since including votes from THEIR followers.

Now filling the Federal gov't with a return to a former administation. Too bad so many ignore what is said in the primaries by the time the general election arrives. Or maybe this is what they wanted all the time.

Well I think Obama's presidency along with liberal control of Congress is summed up by the old adage "hope for the best but prepare for the worst."

I'm not going to sit here and wish for Hope&Change to fail since that is sorta like cutting my own nose off to spite my face. I believe the next 4 years are going to be a disaster, but I hope he does at least an adequate job and tacks more towards the center on issues. You see if he and Congress do an even worse job than Congress is doing now its going to hurt the nation and you, me, and everyone else. I don't want to see that happen.

Like you I have little sympathy for the Saudi's plight. Evidently the ship was out of the protected corridor established by American and British ships and did little to protect itself.

I also have read that either international law or insurance prevents commercial crews from arming themselves to repel pirates. As to how accurate that is I'm not sure.
