Right on time, in the summer in Chicago, where they can bask like lizards in the summer heat they like so well, come the Jihadist Conventioneers.
Oh, they call it something else, but the Islamic group that touts itself as a recruiter for Al-Qaida (even though they are NOT on a terrorism Watch List- Why Not?).
This group, Hizb ut- Tahrir, an Islamic group that openly espouses an Islamic World, is holding it’s first United States conference in Chicago, the home of Hussein- go figure- they probably like the revolutionary ambience, even though the scent of pork runs through Chicago politics as pervasively as through the slaughterhouses nearby.
Hizb ut-Tahrir is a global Sunni network with reported ties to confessed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Al Qaeda in Iraq’s onetime leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. It has operated discreetly in the U.S. for decades.
Now, it is coming out of the shadows and openly hosting a July 19 conference entitled, “The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam,” at a posh Hilton hotel in a suburb of Chicago.
Hizb ut-Tahrir insists that it does not engage in terrorism, and it is not recognized by the State Department as a known terror group.
But some terrorism experts say it may be even more dangerous than many groups that are on the terror list.

This is insane- this would be akin to the Communist Party holding a symposium on the “Fall of Capitalism” in say, New York, during the Cuban Missile Crisis. I know, the “Liberals” won, but you might think they still love their country- a fact that is becoming much less clear with every day. If Homeland Security doesn’t flood this gathering with every agent it has at its disposal, then someone is engaged in traitorous activity at the highest levels. Here is why:
“Hizb ut-Tahrir is one of the oldest, largest indoctrinating organizations for the ideology known as jihadism,” Walid Phares, director of the Future of Terrorism Project at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, told FOXNews.com.
Phares said that Hizb ut-Tahrir, rather than training members to carry out terrorist acts like Al Qaeda, focuses instead on indoctrinating youths between ages of 9 and 18 to absorb the ideology that calls for the formation of an empire — or “khilafah” — that will rule according to Islamic law and condones any means to achieve it, including militant jihad.
Hizb ut-Tahrir often says that its indoctrination “prepares the infantry” that groups like Al Qaeda take into battle, Phares said.
“It’s like a middle school that prepares them to be recruited by the high school, which is Al Qaeda,” he said. “One would compare them to Hitler youth. … It’s an extremely dangerous organization.”

Hitler youth, with a twist of jihad- smells a bit like teen spirit,doesn’t it? I am sure it is oh so innocent, as I know the Liberal pinheads will tell me. I am blowing this all out of proportion, they will say. Really? Will you stake your life and the lives of your friends and family on this? Will you stake the future of your country on this?
I am not willing to be so sanguine about this- this is another wedge that our enemies seek to drive into our side, just to see if they can, now that they have an arab- sounding “friend” in the White House. Just because we have a history of tolerance for other religions does NOT mean we need to roll over and show our belly when a religiously based terrorist sympathizer group wants to set up shop in our back yard.
Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is one of the group’s most famous alumni, New Statesman journalist Shiv Malik reported, citing intelligence sources. In addition to plotting the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, he also is implicated in the World Trade Center bombing of 1993, the Bali nightclub bombings and the murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.
Malik’s report, the public policy institute the Nixon Center and the counter-extremism think tank the Quilliam Foundation agree that Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who was the leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq until he was killed in June 2006, also was once a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir.
They say other former members include Asif Muhammad Hanif, a British man who blew himself up outside a bar in Tel Aviv, killing four people (including himself) and wounding more than 50; and Omar Bakri Mohammed, a radical cleric currently banned from Britain who praised the 9/11 attacks, raised funds for Hezbollah and Hamas and called for attacks on the Dublin airport because U.S. troops transfered there on their way to Iraq.
Segal said Hizb ut-Tahrir is becoming more active online in the U.S. — particularly on social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace — and now it may be able to add a significant number of Americans to its ranks.

And because of all the liberals in our schools,not properly teaching our students the subject of History, our children are NOT getting the proper background to enable them to recognize this threat for what it truly is- a blatant subversion of our people. This trend needs to be halted in its tracks, NOW. If not, then everyone will end up under an Islamic thumb, with our women wearing burkas, and not being allowed to drive or have other rights we all take for granted today,
You say this cannot happen, but if one looks at history, all it takes is forgetting for a moment that it CAN happen.
If we forget for one moment- if we do not have eternal vigilance, this can and will happen.

No Secret Who The Brits Want As US President

It is no secret who the politicians in the UK want to be the next American President. Despite their claim of having no preference or remaining neutral their actions and their statements about the race speak much louder than words. Gordon Brown recently gave an endorsement of Barack Obama but then nuanced his words so as to appear neutral. Recent polls show that many of the major countries around the world (including all the Muslim ones) want Obama to win. Now Communities Secretary Hazel Blears of the UK has chimed in and called Sarah Palin Horrendous. This is so because Palin appeals to people who are disillusioned with “regular politics.”
By regular politics I assume she means the politics where elected officials line their pockets with money from investment companies and other Wall Street entities, ignore the criminal activity occurring, get their friends jobs in those companies so they get rich and then stand around pointing fingers at each other while whole system collapses and is paid for by taxpayers.
Or maybe Blears means politics where those elected in the UK to uphold English law succumb to demands of an ever growing Muslim population and allow Sharia Law (a religious law) to be practiced in the country. Maybe she means standing by and watching as your country rapidly dissolves into an Islamic state while those who oppose Islam or support the US are bombed.
In any event, it is not for Blears, or the rest of the world, to decide. This decision belongs to Americans and Americans alone and it does not matter what the rest of the world thinks about who we elect. Blears, Brown and the rest of these people should concern themselves with the rapid decline of their countries and let us worry about our elections.
I think the world can see by now what being soft on the radical Islamic terrorists does and Pakistan’s inability to control it has played out this weekend as the death toll keeps rising in the hotel bombing. Maybe the rest of the world wants a President Obama begging negotiating with the thugs who cause these problems but I prefer someone who will do more than just scream racism when confronted with adversity.
Pretty soon when Blears, Brown, and every other person in the UK is kneeling to Mecca five times a day they can beg President McCain and Vice President Palin for help. If we don’t view the people asking as horrendous, we might actually help.
Given the horrendous invasion of privacy in the UK, the horrendous dental care, the horrendous medical care, the horrendous cost of everything and the horrendous appeasement of terrorists, I would think Blears would concern herself with those issues and not a person who lives up to our Founder’s wishes.
A citizen who is like the rest of us and serves the people. If we could just replace ALL the current politicians with “regular” Americans, this country would run a lot better.
