Democrats, Pro Choice? Not Really

Last night the Democrats held their first circus event of the campaign season as four old (and one middle aged) white people debated how to issue a death blow to the nation and finish the destruction accelerated under Obama.
These folks all discussed how to spend more money we don’t have to give away things government has no business being involved in. They want to give away free college education, free health care for illegals, and just about any other thing that will pander to the uneducated in order to secure votes while continuing our downward spiral.
[note]For those of you who support these people please tell me how these free things are going to be paid for. Please explain where the money will come from and then tell me how it is actually free…[/note]
I did notice there were not too many pro-choice folks on that stage. Oh sure, there were those who support a woman’s right to choose what to do about her pregnancy. They are all in favor of murdering children in the womb and want to spend even more taxpayer dollars to provide this service.
But nearly every one of them is not in favor of pro-choice should that choice involve firearms. I think Jim Webb is the only one there who supports the Second Amendment.
The others have varying opinions on firearms that have evolved over the years depending upon who they are pandering to (like John “Elmer Fudd” Kerry and his shotgun).
These folks discussed how to disarm law abiding citizens and eviscerate the Second Amendment. In other words, they want to deny you the right to choose to own or carry a firearm. Make no mistake about it, these people want to remove firearms from private citizens. They cannot totally control you if they do not disarm you. This has been going on for over 100 years and our protected right to keep and bear arms has been eroded over that time. If it takes them a hundred more years they will not stop until they have us unarmed and at their mercy.
They are like Islamic terrorists that way.
Martin O’Malley was up there telling everyone how wonderful he is and how he did so many wonderful things in Baltimore and in the state of Maryland. Did you see those riots? They were the culmination of policies O’Malley put in place or continued from previous liberal “leaders”. Baltimore has been run by liberals for a very long time and it is a dying city. Anyone who saw those riots and cannot connect the dots is not smart enough to vote.
O’Malley, as governor, pushed through some of the strictest gun control in the nation. He pushed unconstitutional gun laws on the state and his toadies in Annapolis assisted him. Baltimore has more shootings now than it did before the laws and crime is out of control. O’Malley wants to impose those same laws on the nation.
O’Malley, like three others on that stage, does not believe in choice when it comes to firearms. If you want to murder your unborn child then they are all about being pro-choice but if you want to own or carry a firearm to protect your child they are not pro-choice.
They only want you to have the choices they decide are good for you and that, in reality, is not choice at all.
Fortunately, we have a choice in who to vote for and anyone who cares about this nation should not vote for anyone that was on the stage in Las Vegas last night.
Those people are self-serving twits who want to rule over you. They have forgotten that the people are the government, and the people are in charge of the government.
Unfortunately, many Americans have forgotten this as well (or more likely were never taught it in the government run school system).
It is well past time to take this country back and the best way to do it (not the only way) is to run all these anti-American elitists out of politics.
And retrain their mindless zombie voters…

Confiscating Guns Won’t Work But Let’s Do It Anyway

I have ranted about gun control for a long time partly because I live in the oppressive state of Maryland but mostly because I believe in individual freedom and that includes the freedom to keep and bear arms. This freedom was so important that our Founders protected (not granted) the right in the Constitution.
I have no problem with people who do not like firearms or who do not want to own them. They are free to choose those actions just as I am free to choose otherwise.
That is where the problem lies. Those who do not like guns blame them for all the bad things that happen with them. They then use their blame of guns to push an agenda that includes disarming America.
Some of these people are actually foolish enough to believe it will make a difference. Those in power know it won’t but they do not care because their goal is to control people and they can only truly control people once they have been disarmed.
Study after study using the government’s own numbers shows that even though we have more guns than ever before violent crime is way down. It has been shown time and again that the most violent places where the gun crimes occur are places with the strictest gun control laws and in places where people are free to carry firearms it is relatively safe.
These facts are indisputable but facts never get in the way of a good cause where the liberals are concerned. They want control and they need to take the guns to get it so that is what they are going to do.
Or try anyway…
There are far too many tragic shootings and something has to be done about it. What needs to be done is vastly different from what Barack Obama and the rest of the tyrants will tell you. They say that we need common sense gun laws even though all the gun laws we now have did not help and those they propose would do nothing to stop the bad people from doing bad things.
What needs to be done is to immediately get rid of all gun laws in each state. People who are not otherwise prohibited and who pass the background check to purchase a firearm will be allowed to carry it openly or concealed anywhere they want (private businesses could still ban them on their properties as could homeowners). This will allow people to protect themselves from those hell bent on doing harm.
The left wants a complete gun confiscation. They want to make America a gun free zone. This thinking ignores the fact that these mass shootings take place at locations that are designated as gun free. The criminals pick these places exactly for that reason. They know that law abiding people will not be armed there and that they will have a target rich environment.
[note]The left’s idea of a gun free America is not really gun free. They want it gun free with regard to private citizens. Agents of the government (and no doubt special people) will still have guns and be allowed to carry them. It is amazing that these people are the first to attack police officers when they use firearms in the line of duty as trigger happy but want them to be the only ones to have firearms.[/note]
The left holds Australia up as the model we should emulate but as they announced their praise for that nation someone there shot and killed an employee of the police. How could that happen in a place where guns are banned?
The left explains gun confiscation like this:
They turn to [Columbia University psychiatrist] Appelbaum again who is ready to endorse the Australian approach with one caveat–he wants to be sure everyone knows that we should still expect to see mass shootings. Appelbaum said, “I don’t think anyone could say honestly that if we tighten up on the availability of guns and the ease of purchasing them, and reduce the number of weapons that are largely produced to kill large numbers of people, that the problem will go away completely.” He added, “Some people who will be able to get their hands on guns and be able to do horrible things with them” no matter what actions are taken. This line of thinking demonstrates a few things. One is that even with a complete confiscation and ban people will get guns and use them to murder people. So it demonstrates that even a total ban will not work.
It also shows what freedom lovers have been saying all along and that is criminals do not obey the law and gun control does not affect them. The only people harmed by gun control are the law abiding people who will not use firearms illegally in the first place.
Only in liberal land could a solution to a perceived issue be proposed that will not solve the perceived problem and then be touted as a great idea.
Of course if the real goal is to disarm law abiding citizens so they cannot defend against tyranny then the plan makes perfect sense.
At least until they actually try it…

Obama’s Obsession With Gun Control

Barack Obama is obsessed with controlling the American people. He started his quest for control by ramming Obamacare down our throats. If government controls the health care it gains a lot of control over the people.
This is true about gun control as well. When governments control guns they control people and often that control results in the systematic murder of millions of them.
I don’t think our government wants to murder millions of us (yet anyway) but I am willing to bet that the millions across the globe who died at the hands of their government after being disarmed did not think their governments would murder them.
Do I think our government has the ability? Absolutely. All governments are necessary evils that eventually get too big and too controlling. Our government is too big and too controlling and it wants to grow larger and to gain more control.
The best way to do that is to remove the means of the people to resist and that means disarming them. Obama is not stupid. He knows that there are more people with guns in the woods on the first day of hunting season than there are in all of our armed forces combined. He probably also has a good idea that a large number of people in the military would not fight the people but would instead turn and fight a tyrannical government.
This latest shooting at a college in Oregon is a tragedy and the details are not yet fully known. There are reports that have been sourced to a number of witnesses that the shooter (who I refuse to name so as not to give the bastard any notoriety) asked the religion of the victims and those who answered that they were Christian were shot. There are also reports that the shooter was a Muslim but that has not been verified. If he is then perhaps we should be looking at banning them instead of guns…
As this tragedy unfolded Obama did what he has done during all other tragedies. He went on TV and gave a speech blaming the gun for the murders and then called for more gun control. This time Obama made no bones about the fact he was politicizing the issue and he called for more gun control as he has done in the past. He went so far as to say that he knows the memos are being written saying we need more guns and then he asked if anyone actually believes that.
Let me help you out. Yes Barack, we need more guns in the hands of law abiding citizens (The truth is more guns does mean less crime). I know you think that the number of guns in America is to blame for this and other tragedies and that if there were no (or fewer) guns then this would not have happened. Well guess what Barack? There were NO guns at that college. It was a gun free zone. Even the security guard did not have a gun. The only person with a gun was the murderer who knew he would meet no resistance. He disobeyed the law and murdered people. It is against the law to take a gun to a gun free place and it is against the law to murder people but this jackass did just that.
Tell me Barack, how would any other gun control law have prevented this moron from doing what he did? A total ban on firearms would not have prevented this tragedy. Just ask the good folks in Australia where guns were outlawed and confiscated years ago. That country just suffered a double shooting (one was the shooter) near a police station.
How did that criminal get a gun Barack?
Criminals don’t obey the law. One needs only to look at you and Hillary Clinton to know that. She broke countless laws with her email server and you have broken the law time and again. You bypass Congress, you subvert the Constitution and YOU, yes you illegally sent firearms to drug cartels in Mexico. Laws have not stopped you so why do you think they would stop anyone else?
To get back to if anyone thinks more guns is the answer I will say this. I am willing to bet the victims at the college were not thinking about gun control as they were being shot. I bet many of them were thinking “I wish I had a gun right now.” A veteran of the armed forces and a person who is more of a man than you will ever be rushed the shooter and suffered a number of gunshot wounds so that he could save others (fortunately he survived). Imagine Barack, if he had been carrying a firearm (meaning there would be at least one MORE gun on campus). Surely you don’t think a veteran carrying a firearm is a danger to others now do you? I don’t think ANY law abiding citizen is a threat to others just because he is carrying a firearm. In fact, I feel safer around them.
Yes Barack, more guns would have made every person at that college safer except for the shooter who would have been vastly outnumbered and not long for this world and dare I say with a lot less loss of life.
I know you want to blame the gun so you can push an agenda. But Barack, we will not let that happen. We are on to you and your elitist toadies. We know you want to disarm us so you can control us. I know you all do not hate firearms. You just hate the American citizens HAVING them. You have no issue with your guards having firearms. You have no issue with police officers and your special liberal friends having and carrying them. You just do not want the people to have them because then you can’t control them and that eats at you.
A dentist shoots a lion and those upset by it blamed the dentist, not the gun. Muslims blow stuff up and behead people and you tell us not to judge all of them by the actions of a few (in other words don’t blame all Muslims), and when someone drives drunk we do not blame alcohol or cars we blame the drunk driver.
But when it comes to guns you ALWAYS blame the gun.
Here is a clue for you Barack. A firearm is an inanimate object that has no feelings, it cannot think, it cannot feel, it cannot hate and it cannot do anything wrong. It is merely an inanimate object that requires a person to operate. The person is the one who can have all those qualities the firearm simply cannot have. Blaming the firearm for the murder is like blaming cutlery for obesity, it makes no logical sense. Then again, liberalism is not logical.
Barack, it is time you left the firearms alone and started focusing on the nuts (mostly people who follow your ideology) using firearms to commit these horrific crimes. It is time you realized that more guns in the hands of the law abiding will make us safer as has been demonstrated countless times. No one can argue that more guns in the hands of those students would likely have made a huge difference and people would have been safer. You see, the shooter probably would not have attacked because he would know people might be armed.
Shooters like this guy are cowards who attack the defenseless (much like you and your party and its cowardly attacks on the defenseless unborn) and they look for places where guns are not allowed.
Barack, you have never heard of a mass shooting at a gun show, now have you? No shooter would risk it. I might add that if the guns were the problem as you claim then no one at the the gun show would make it out alive.
Barack, leave our guns alone. I know you have been having a tough time with Putin kicking your ass around like a soccer ball but you really need to turn your attention to something other than gun control because you will never win that battle.
You see Barack, when this nation was under British rule they tried to take our firearms and we declared our independence and then kicked their asses out. You might recognize this on the Fourth of July when we celebrate it.
Well I am here to tell you that if you keep it up you might find out what King George did so very long ago.
And pal, we have plenty of days left on the calendar for another holiday.

MD AG Brian Frosh; Anti Constitution POS

The Attorney General of Maryland, Brian Frosh, has sent a letter to Attorneys General in the other states (even the free ones) asking them to push for gun purchase laws similar to the ones he spearheaded when he was in the Maryland legislature. Frosh and US Congress critter Chris Van Hollen (a waste of human flesh) are working hand in hand as Van Hollen has introduced legislation to force these kinds of licensing schemes on the country.
Both of these men are enemies of the state and should be put in jail for their work against the US Constitution.
Frosh cites a study conducted by the Johns Hopkins Center for Gun Policy and Research. The name should tell you all you need to know as this group is not in favor of gun ownership.
The study compared two states and drews conclusions that stretch things to say the least.
In any study of gun laws that affects all 50 states it is cherry picking to select only two for the study. This was done so that a conclusion wanted by the researchers could be obtained. It is a tortuous process but these anti-Constitutional morons have to find a way to lord over you.
Part of Frosh’s statement:
“We can only do so much,” Frosh said at a news conference in Towson. “People can buy guns in our neighboring jurisdictions and bring them across the state lines illegally, and it adds to the violence and deaths that we experience in our state.” The Baltimore Sun
Frosh did quite a lot to impose gun control in Maryland and the murder rate has not declined (in the areas where it has always been an issue, the rural areas have no such problems). People in Baltimore (a liberal run city where the Mayor gives rioters room to destroy the city and attack police) are being shot all the time and they are being shot by people who cannot pass a background check (a federal requirement) and who do not obtain firearms legally.
Though his reasoning is flawed because guns used for violence in Maryland do not, by and large, come from neighboring states (and those that do are obtained illegally by people who can’t legally buy or own them), Frosh’s statement shows that laws do not matter. He says that people can go to other states and buy guns and bring them here ILLEGALLY.
This import from other states is just not happening as people who are not otherwise excluded from firearms ownership do not complete these kinds of strawman purchases. Law abiding people are not breaking the law here, it is the unlawful who are doing so. So if they are already breaking the law how would another law change that?
Frosh is basically and idiot in human skin who suckles at the teat of government to get his paycheck. He is an elitist puke who thinks he can better determine how you should live your life than you can.
Brian ignores the fact that in the recent past while Americans have purchased over 170 million firearms violent crime has dropped by greater than 50%.
More legal guns means less crime.
Frosh has no clue as to what causes crime or why firearms are used. He has no clue as to how they are obtained. He wants strict control that will only affect those who actually obey the law.
But if he thinks I need a license to purchase a firearm I will be happy to show him mine.
It reads like this:
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
Notice the words OF THE PEOPLE and SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.
Like I stated earlier, Frosh is not a supporter of the Constitution

It Did Not Take Long For The Gun Control Nuts

First of all let me state that I am heartbroken that people were murdered in Virginia. My thoughts and prayers go to the families of the reporter and cameraman who were murdered live on the air by a disgruntled former employee of their station.
The coward who did this ended his own life after a police chase. I only wish he had shot himself first.
The shooter was a black man who shot two white people. He was allegedly upset at being fired and claimed it was because of racism. So this moron decided to shoot two people and the liberal anti gun crowd is out blaming the gun once again. Here we have a liberal ideology that has told black people that they are the victims of racism, has allowed them to riot without punishment, has blamed everything on white privilege and then is amazed when one of them resorts to violence over perceived racism.
In any event, Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe is renewing his push for tougher gun laws. He claims that he ran on imposing tougher gun laws and he has proposed them twice but the VA Legislature will not do it. Terry claims that there are loopholes and people should have background checks blah, blah, blah.
The first thing we need to know is did the guy legally purchase the firearm he had. If he did then he almost certainly had a background check. If that is the case then nothing Terry wants would have stopped this. Did the guy get it illegally? If so, nothing Terry wants would have stopped it.
The incident is a tragedy but it was a premeditated crime by a guy hell bent on doing something bad. No law would have stopped him from hurting people if that is what he wanted to do. Laws against selling drugs or crossing our border ILLEGALLY, or operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated do not keep people from doing those things.
People who have no regard for the law will not be affected by any new law. Only a moron would think otherwise.
But Terry is a liberal progressive slug who, as per the playbook, uses a tragedy to push an agenda. He is following B. Hussein Obama and the rest of the progs in order to push through gun control for one reason and one reason only.
To disarm Americans. That is the end game. They need us disarmed so they can control us because gun control is not about guns it is about control.
Please pray for the families affected by this senseless murder. They are what is important here.
People like Terry and the others are vultures who politicize these things while the bodies are still warm. They gleefully dance on the graves of those murdered in order to push for more control.
Keep in mind that they will always be armed or have armed guards. And also keep in mind that no law will keep bad people from doing bad things.
Any fool who believes otherwise is the same kind of moron who thinks a restraining order, a piece of paper, is protection.
