Obama And Fighting Old Battles

During the State of The Union Address last night Imperial Leader B. Hussein Obama misstated the truth, fudged figures and told outright lies. He pulled out some of the old plays in trying to appeal to Americans who can either trust Obama or what their eyes see. On the subject of Obamacare he had this to say:
I don’t expect to convince my Republican friends on the merits of this law,” he said. “But I know that the American people aren’t interested in refighting old battles… Politico
Obama wants us to believe that a new law that is just being implemented is an old battle and he wants us to believe that Americans don’t want us to fight the battle. The reality is that nearly 65% of Americans do not like the law, millions have been dropped out of perfectly good insurance, millions more have been added to Medicaid and the law is costing way more than advertised. It is also true that Obama lied about the number of people signing up and that many of those who have enrolled are the ones who had their insurance cancelled because of the law. Couple this with the fact that few of the young are signing up and it is easy to see that disaster is looming.
We can beat the Obamacare horse to death but Obama and his toadies will keep pushing it. The only way to let them know how we feel is to get rid of every politician who voted for it.
But something else was quite interesting in the Obama lie fest last night. While Obama was telling members of Congress and the American people that he is an Imperial Leader who will legislate via his pen and Executive Orders he mentioned gun control. He plans on doing what he wants via EO and against the Constitution.
Citizenship means standing up for the lives that gun violence steals from us each day. I have seen the courage of parents, students, pastors, and police officers all over this country who say “we are not afraid,” and I intend to keep trying, with or without Congress, to help stop more tragedies from visiting innocent Americans in our movie theaters, shopping malls, or schools like Sandy Hook. If Barack Obama truly believes that Americans do not want to fight old battles then he should give up his fight to infringe on our right to keep and bear arms. That battle was fought and settled a little over 222 years ago (15 December 1791) when the Second Amendment was adopted as part of the Bill of Rights (the Bill of INDIVIDUAL Rights). That certainly qualifies as an old battle. A battle which was not only won but resulted in a right protected by inclusion in our Constitution which, as the alleged Constitutional Law professor should know, is the Supreme Law of the Land.
Obama wants you to believe that a four year old law that is still being implemented is old news, an old battle that Americans do not want to fight. At the same time he expects you to believe that firearms ownership is some new thing and that the battle over it must be fought. I have to believe that Obama knows better but he is a socialist and he knows that an armed society is a free society and he cannot tolerate freedom for the serfs. He can’t get away with imposing his will on us if we are able to resist the tyranny. He needs to make it as tough as possible (he would prefer total disarming) because he needs to be able to CONTROL us. Gun control is not about guns, it is about control.
No Executive order and no law will stop gun related violence because people who use guns to commit violence DO NOT OBEY THE LAW. If banning something or making it harder to get worked then we would not have a problem with people using heroin in this country.
Obama makes that case himself without even realizing it. In the quote above he said that things needed to be done to stop more tragedies in movie theaters, shopping malls and schools. ALL of the places he mentioned are gun free zones. People are not allowed BY LAW to have guns there.
If gun control laws worked then no shootings would take place at these places BUT BAD GUYS DO NOT FOLLOW THE LAW.
In fact, these kinds of laws make it easier for criminals because they know that only law abiding people will follow the law and that there will be no armed opposition. You know I am right on this and you know that Obama is wrong.
Obama’s hometown of Chicago has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation and people get shot there all the time. Maryland enacted tough gun laws last year and one person a day has been shot in Baltimore since the first of the year.
Gun control does not work and we will not stand for it.
We settled that issue 222 years ago after fighting the tyranny of our overlords.
That battle is old and the issue is settled. The last thing Obama wants or needs is to start a new battle on this issue.
[note]Obama mentioned guns once in his SOTU. He mentioned them a lot in last year’s SOTU. This is an election year and Democrats do not want to be saddled with a gun control fight when they know it is a losing issue for them. Obama is not up for reelection so he can push his Executive Orders while giving Democrats cover. He is also using EOs because he can’t get Congress to agree even when it is NOT an election year.[/note]
There are far too many armed citizens who will do what Obama and most other politicians refuse to do.

Obama To Students; Ignore The Tyranny

OK, OK, Obama really told the students to reject the voices that warn of government tyranny. He is basically telling the students to ignore those who say government can become tyrannical as his regime moves toward that very tyranny. He needs to indoctrinate the young minds so when government is in full blown tyranny mode the heads full of mush will reject the idea because their overlord Obama told them it can’t happen.
Unfortunately, you’ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that’s at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. They’ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave, and creative, and unique experiment in self-rule is somehow just a sham with which we can’t be trusted.
We have never been a people who place all our faith in government to solve our problems. We shouldn’t want to. But we don’t think the government is the source of all our problems, either. Because we understand that this democracy is ours. And as citizens, we understand that it’s not about what America can do for us, it’s about what can be done by us, together, through the hard and frustrating but absolutely necessary work of self-government. Well there you have it. The great and wise Obama has told the students that they should reject those who talk of tyranny because they suggest that our experiment is somehow a sham that can’t be trusted and that we do not believe government should solve all our problems.
To address the last part first, Obama and the rest of the progressives DO believe government is the answer to all our problems. This is evident by the way he is leading. Their solution to every problem is more government which usually involves some form of massive spending (and of course taxing the evil rich).
His talk does not match his actions because he is a liar. He works to deceive people and his goal here is to discredit those who actually see what is going on.
What about that first part? First of all, Obama used a false argument. No one warning of tyranny is suggesting our government is a sham (though it might be one with Obama at the helm). We suggest that tyranny can occur in the best of governments. Obama might want these kids to believe that government can be trusted and he and his followers might actually believe this. I prefer to look at the words of much wiser people and those I look to are the people who founded this nation (as well as a few from past presidents who were not Founders). Let us look at what those men had to say about government, shall we?

I think it is very clear that much wiser men than Obama, those who gave us this great experiment, were suspicious of government. Their words clearly tell us they felt that government was not to be trusted and that tyranny was something that governments become and that we should be cautious of this.
So regardless of what Obama tells these youngsters, the voices talking about tyranny are echoes from the past. They are the echoes of our Founders and others who have held this nation’s highest office.
They are voices from those who experienced firsthand that which they warn about and that which Obama seeks to deny while placing the wheels in motion.
My advice to these students and all citizens is to be wary and to ignore the words of those who tell you not to worry about tyranny. In other words, ignore what Obama said to these students because history is not on his side.
I prefer to use the words of Ronald Reagan, Trust but verify.
Though quite honestly, I have no trust of the government.

Armed Citizen Saves Police Officer

The left’s answer to bad people with guns is to ban law abiding people from having guns thus insuring that only bad people will be in possession of firearms. Criminals do not obey the law, they do not submit to background checks and they do not register their illegally owned firearms. The answer from those who violate their oaths is for you to call 911 and then pray a person with a gun gets there before you are dead.
In reality, the police show up to draw a chalk line around a dead body. If you are armed they draw that line around the bad guy. In the liberal world, they draw that line around YOU.
I have already documented how the police were called (via 911 no less) within a minute of the Newtown shooter shooting his way into the school. All the victims were dead within 5 minutes and the police arrived after that. They got to draw chalk lines around the victims.
Fortunately, there are still states in this union that believe in freedom and uphold the Constitution. Fortunately there are states where the words shall not be infringed have meaning. As an aside, Maryland is not one of them. The Communist governor and his comrades in the legislature have violated their oaths and made law abiding citizens of the state into one of two things; criminals or prey.
Back on point. The great state of Texas is one that believes in upholding and protecting the God given right to keep and bear arms. One police officer is alive, and thankful, that this is the case.
There was a dispute in a neighborhood (a trailer park at that) about dogs relieving themselves on other people’s lawns. This has been an ongoing issue and it came to a head when the neighbor whose property was under doggie assault (Charles Conner) got a gun and murdered the dog’s owners (David House and Iris Valentina) and shot their dogs. Someone called the police and the responding officer (SGT Steven Means) was not able to exit his car before he was under fire from Conner. The shooter was well protected from return fire because he was behind a tree. The officer was trying to keep from getting killed by hiding behind his car.
It turns out that a neighbor (Vic Stacy) who was home watching TV saw what was going on and after watching he assessed that the officer needed help. He had a direct shot, albeit at a distance, at the shooter. Stacy fired a shot and hit Conner knocking him down. He fired several other shots and SGT Means was able to shot him as well.
More police officers arrived (well after all the shooting had taken place) and placed Stacy in handcuffs. SGT Means explained what happened and Stacy was released.
No charges will be filed (who would even contemplate that) and Stacy is being hailed as a hero though he shuns that idea. He agonized over getting involved and had some trouble sleeping after. In other words, he is not some Wild West zealot who wants to kill. He saw an officer in distress and he intervened.
Let’s look at the facts. The nut job Conner murdered two people BEFORE police arrived. He then held an officer at bay placing that officer in grave danger (is there any other kind) and backup did not arrive until AFTER the nut had been dispatched with the help of a private citizen. The police were not even there in time to help one of their own even though the original officer responded to a call for shots fired.
The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. The state of Texas is a place where the rights of good guys are not infringed upon.
SGT Means is probably very happy he is not in a state where the law abiding are disarmed or he might not be alive today.
One can either be protected or prey.
Liberals want to make us prey. Communists like Maryland’s gun grabbing Governor, Martin O’Moron, do not care about the law abiding and they don’t care about the Constitution. They know what is best for you and what will make you safe. And if you listen to them they will tell you just that.
If they can get their voices past their army of ARMED body guards…

The Line In The Sand Has Been Drawn

The gun debate in the state of Maryland is hot and heavy with the anti gun, oath breaking politicians running roughshod over law abiding citizens. The Constitutional rights of American citizens living in the People’s Republik of Maryland are being trampled on by tyrants led by overlord Governor O’Malley.
The gun debate in this country is hot and heavy as the anti gun, oath breaking tyrants in Congress (led by the Imperial President Obama) work to deny law abiding citizens their rights.
The United Nations is working to take guns from everyone all over the world and the tyrant leading this country is on board with the UN.
Anti gun politicians are also working on ways to restrict gun ownership in case all out bans and confiscation fail. They are trying to impose oppressive taxes on ammunition, require licenses and certificates to buy guns and ammo (respectively) and they have introduced legislation to require gun owners to purchase insurance or face a $10,000 fine. All of these are designed to make it difficult or impossible for law abiding people to get and to effectively use firearms.
[note]The police do not carry guns to protect YOU. They carry them for their own protection. In Texas they are worried about prosecutors being murdered and want them to carry firearms and are considering allowing them to carry them in the courthouse where only the police currently carry. This is an admission that even in a building with lots of armed officers your safety cannot be guaranteed. It is also an admission that carrying a gun is the best way to protect yourself.[/note]
The people doing this are traitors to this nation, its people and its Constitution.
We had a Revolution when this nation was founded and that revolution was due, in part, to an attempt by the British to confiscate our firearms. There were plenty of other reasons we decided to declare our independence but gun confiscation was one of them.
Let us make no mistake, people who are disarmed by their government are slaves. Free people are not deprived the RIGHT to keep and bear arms. That concept was so natural to our Founders that they ensured the right (a right that preexisted the Constitution) was protected in the US Constitution. They worded the Amendment to include the words SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.
Everything the government is doing infringes on our right.
We live in a nation where women have the right to murder their unborn children, gays have a right to marry their same sex partners, and people have a right to have their health care provided by the government. None of these things is anywhere in the Constitution but the people who are trying to disarm us will fight tooth and nail to protect these alleged rights while fighting even harder to take away a right that is specifically named and protected by the Constitution.
The line in the sand has been drawn and it is well past time for free people to fight back. We need to put the politicians in their place. We need to remind them they work for us. They need to be removed from office and they need to stand trial for their crimes.
We are a nation of many and there are more gun owners in this nation than there are armed agents of the government. When one considers that many of those armed agents will refuse to disarm citizens our numbers are even bigger. We need to use our strength and our numbers to put crushing pressure on all of the anti gun politicians and we need to hold their feet to the fire. We need to crush them completely.
We can only pray that we can accomplish this by peaceful means but, to put it in the words of our government, all options are on the table.
We fought one Revolution against a tyrannical government and we can fight another. The time has come for us to tell them, no more. We will not comply. We will not bow down. We will not give up our rights because a few bad people did horrific things.
The reality is that those horrific acts pale in comparison to the horrific acts that governments have taken when they successfully disarmed their people. Governments have murdered millions of people after disarming them.

The gun grabbers say this could never happen here. After all, government has not murdered millions of us.
No, because we are armed. Our Founders knew that we needed to be armed to keep our government in check. They knew if we did not have arms we would be slaves and we would be ruled by tyrants.
The people in office now know this as well and this is exactly why they want to disarm us. They want to rule us with the iron fists of tyranny.
And we must not let that happen.
By any means necessary we must defeat this gun grab agenda.

Bloomberg Is A Tyrant

New York Imperial Mayor Michael Bloomberg is anti American and a tyrant. Mr. Bloomberg has gone against our Founding and the US Constitution when he made a recent statement that sometimes the government knows better AND that sometimes government should infringe on our freedoms.
“I do think there are certain times we should infringe on your freedom,” Mr. Bloomberg said, during an appearance on NBC. He made the statement during discussion of his soda ban — just shot down by the courts — and insistence that his fight to control sugary drink portion sizes in the city would go forth. As a veteran and a patriot let me just reply to Nanny Bloomberg this way:
THERE IS NEVER A TIME WHEN GOVERNMENT SHOULD INFRINGE ON OUR FREEDOM.
PERIOD!
Governments at all levels in this country receive their power from the people. We have a document in our history called the Declaration of Independence in which our Founders clearly stated that governments derive their power from the consent of the governed. Nowhere in that document did our Founders say there were times when it was OK for government to infringe on our freedoms.
In fact, the infringement on our freedom is one of the reasons we felt it necessary to draft the document in the first place.
Bloomberg is a very wealthy man who has a 10 million dollar home in Bermuda and eats very expensive steaks (and other foods full of the fats he banned in New York). He is now going to use millions of his own dollars to violate our Constitution and try to take our guns away because, as Bloomy would tell you, the government knows better and sometimes it should infringe on your freedom.
As I have clearly stated, there is never a time that infringing on our freedom is OK. How would one decide? Where does it end? If it is OK for government to infringe when it comes to the size of a drink, the fat in food or the firearms people own because these issues are opposed by the tyrant in charge then it will be OK for the tyrant to infringe on anything he opposes. All future tyrants would be able to use the same criteria (I don’t like it) to infringe.
What happens if Bloomberg or some future tyrant decides that he does not like interracial marriage, or homosexual relationships? What happens if the tyrant does not like video games or fast food or any number of other things?
If the previous tyrant was allowed to infringe because nanny knows best then it will never end.
Giving up any freedom will result in the further loss of freedoms. No matter how YOU feel about an issue, allowing the infringement on freedom will eventually affect YOU and an issue that matters to YOU.
People who give up their freedoms become slaves.
Bloomberg knows that and in addition to being a tyrant, he wants to be the slave master.
Stop the tyranny by opposing this little Nazi known as Bloomberg.
