Soldier Dishonors Self And Service

A young soldier at Fort Carson took a photo of herself hiding in her car during the time honors are rendered to the Flag (during Retreat) and indicated that she was hiding to avoid saluting the Flag. She indicated that those who felt what she was doing was disrespectful could keep their comments to themselves.
Well that is not going to happen. This young lady is a PFC (Private First Class) and is not entitled to tell this First Sergeant to keep anything to himself and she should kneel down and thank whatever God she worships that I am not her First Sergeant or I would have her scrubbing latrines with a toothbrush until her hands fell off.
Rendering honors to the Flag is NOT an option. To deliberately not render the proper honors is disrespectful to the Army and to the nation. It is also disrespectful to the men and women who have served this nation under the Flag. In fact, this action by Private Dipstick is a violation of Army Regulation 600-25 (Appendix C) which describes what soldiers in uniform are REQUIRED to do when the Flag is raised or lowered.
She violated an Army Regulation and now that she published her violation and admitted it was willful her commander should give her an Article 15 and bust her all the way down to Private E-1. He should take a portion of her pay and give her restriction and extra duty as part of her Article 15 punishment.
Too harsh? I think not. She went through Basic Training and learned the proper way to act when honors to the Flag are required. This is not a simple mistake or a case where she did not know because she openly admits she is hiding so she can avoid doing her duty.
She is derelict and should be punished for it.
A harsh punishment will remind her of her oath and her obligation to fulfill her soldierly duties in a professional manner.
It will also send a strong message to others like her who might be inclined to dishonor their country and the Flag that flies over her.
Far too many people better than she have fought and died to preserve what that Flag represents.
Now PFC dipstick, if you have an issue with me not keeping it to myself feel free to stand at Parade Rest until I give you permission to speak.

Mexico Upset With Burger King

The folks in Mexico are a bit upset about a Burger King ad that they claim is stereotypical and degrading. There is also uproar because the Mexican in the ad is wrapped in a Mexican flag.
An advertisement for Burger King’s chili-flavored “Texican” burger that has run in Europe shows a small wrestler dressed in a cape resembling a Mexican flag. The wrestler teams up with a lanky American cowboy twice his height to illustrate the cross-border blend of flavors.
“The taste of Texas with a little spicy Mexican,” a narrator’s voice says.
The much-taller cowboy boosts the wrestler up to reach high shelves and clean tall windows, while the Mexican helps the cowboy open a jar.

One of the things that most angered Mexican officials was a print edition of the ad showing the wrestler wearing what appear to be a Mexican flag as a cloak.
“We have to tell these people that in Mexico we have a great deal of respect for our flag,” Zermeno said. Breitbart
First of all this is an ad and nothing else. Considering the unrest in Mexico and the collapse the country is experiencing perhaps they should be worrying less about an ad and more about getting things in order.
As for the flag issue, too fricking bad. You have a great deal of respect for your flag, good for you. However, you people have very little respect for the American Flag which Mexicans routinely disrespect and they do so while in this country. They step on it, burn it, hang it upside down and hang the Mexican flag above it. These are all disrespectful acts but I never hear any Mexican Ambassador expressing outrage and telling the Mexicans to stop.
We have a great deal of respect for our flag as well (well, the conservatives do) and we don’t appreciate the way your people treat it.
So before you get all ticked off over an ad think about your own acts.
And if you are really upset don’t eat at Burger King.

Delaware Couple Desecrates US Flag At Inauguration

Are there any law enforcement officers from the DC area who are willing to uphold the law? There are some people who were in DC that should be fined. I am not talking about the pigs who left tons of trash all over the place. I have been to a number of events in DC and we cleaned up after ourselves. I guess that is what happens when we get those who care for the environment so much in one place.
In any event, the people who need to be fined and/or jailed are Jim and Mary Ann Kelly of Newark Delaware. They took an American Flag to DC and they had everyone who passed by sign it. Their desire is to have it put in the Smithsonian. They claim they love their country and they never want to forget this day [inauguration of Obama].
That is all well and good but the only thing that should be placed somewhere are these two morons. If they love their country so much why did they break the law and desecrate the Flag?
Any person who, within the District of Columbia, in any manner, for exhibition or display, shall place or cause to be placed any word, figure, mark, picture, design, drawing, or any advertisement of any nature upon any flag, standard, colors, or ensign of the United States of America; or shall expose or cause to be exposed to public view any such flag, standard, colors, or ensign upon which shall have been printed, painted, or otherwise placed, or to which shall be attached, appended, affixed, or annexed any word, figure, mark, picture, design, or drawing, or any advertisement of any nature; or who, within the District of Columbia, shall manufacture, sell, expose for sale, or to public view, or give away or have in possession for sale, or to be given away or for use for any purpose, any article or substance being an article of merchandise, or a receptacle for merchandise or article or thing for carrying or transporting merchandise, upon which shall have been printed, painted, attached, or otherwise placed a representation of any such flag, standard, colors, or ensign, to advertise, call attention to, decorate, mark, or distinguish the article or substance on which so placed shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $100 or by imprisonment for not more than thirty days, or both, in the discretion of the court. The words “flag, standard, colors, or ensign”, as used herein, shall include any flag, standard, colors, ensign, or any picture or representation of either, or of any part or parts of either, made of any substance or represented on any substance, of any size evidently purporting to be either of said flag, standard, colors, or ensign of the United States of America or a picture or a representation of either, upon which shall be shown the colors, the stars and the stripes, in any number of either thereof, or of any part or parts of either, by which the average person seeing the same without deliberation may believe the same to represent the flag, colors, standard, or ensign of the United States of America. 4USC Chapter 1 ss 3 [emphasis mine]
These two were in the District of Columbia and they definitely caused a mark or words to be put on the Flag. There is no doubt that they violated the United States Code and there is no doubt as to what the punishment is. They have admitted guilt and they have displayed the Flag for all to bear witness to their crime. This crime comes on the heels of the incident in Baltimore where people displayed the Flag with Obama’s picture on it.
I am not surprised. Liberals have no respect for the Flag though it is suddenly cool for them to display it. They do not know how to respect it or how to take care of it.
However, ignorance of the law is no excuse.

How Will Che Obama Explain This?

We all know that Barack Obama will not wear a flag lapel pin and we know that he does not put his hand over his heart during our National Anthem. Obama has explained that he does not need a pin to be patriotic (I agree) but his explanation on the Anthem was pathetic. He did not know the proper protocol and that is a very sad thing especially for someone who wants to be president.
I want to know how Obama will explain the latest flag issue to beset his campaign. In one of his new campaign offices in Houston there is a Cuban Flag with Che Guevara superimposed on it. Guevara was a Marxist revolutionary and the leader of the Cuban and internationalist guerrillas. After his death, Guevara became an icon of socialist revolutionary movements and a cultural icon worldwide and many of the moonbats at protests carry signs with his picture on it.
So how will Obama explain his campaign office having a flag that symbolizes socialism? How will he explain the fact that one of his offices has a flag that pays tribute to the Marxist revolutionary Che Guevara? How will Obama spin this so that it does not bite him in the rear?
It will probably make little difference to the Democrats because they carry signs praising this guy and it will probably not provide fodder for Hillary because she believes in Socialism. However, there are a lot of people in this country who will remember this come the general election and the real patriots have no tolerance for this crap.
I will bet they come up with some excuse like “it was already there and we had not taken it down yet.”
Right.

Nancy Pelosi defended the actions of the Capitol architect who took it upon himself to decide that the word God and any other religious phrases may not be placed on the certificates that accompany Flags ordered by constituents. Nancy Pelosi and the architect are denying people their right to free speech. People have a right to have whatever they want, within the limits of good taste, added to the certificates. In case these people do not know it, the Flag and its accompanying certificate are not free. People order them and PAY for them. Since they are paying for them, they should have a right to get just about whatever they want on them.
The case stems from an Eagle Scout who wanted, “In honor of my grandfather Marcel Larochelle, and his dedication and love of God, country, and family” written on his certificate. When he received it, the word God was not on it. He paid for the Flag and certificate and the PC police at the Capitol decided that the word was inappropriate. Who is this jackass and what power does he have to decide what people have written on certificates that they pay for? Additionally, if he was not going to put what the kid wanted on the certificate, he should have returned the money and the form with an explanation.
Unfortunately, Nancy Pelosi is so anti religion and liberal (but I repeat myself) that she lacks the courage to tell the guy to print what people pay for. How dare this woman decide that this is appropriate and to declare that she does not see the point of the Congressman who was upset about it? I am willing to bet this jackass architect accepts his pay in US dollars that have the words “In God We Trust” imprinted upon them. I am willing to bet Pelosi has no problem accepting the millions of dollars in graft she gets even though those dollars contain the very same words.
I believe that all Americans should stop ordering Flags from the Congress. Just stop completely and let them figure out something else to do with their time. I also think we should refuse to pay our taxes because we would not want to offend any of these jackasses who don’t like to see God’s name in print. These jackasses are only religious when they are running for office ala Hillary and B. Hussein.
Check that idea about not paying taxes. That could be risky given how the federal government sends jack booted marshals to arrest you and harass your friends if you refuse to surrender your money to those who extort it from you. You could fly planes into buildings and Democrats will praise you and demand that you not be tortured but fail to pay your taxes and they send SS storm troopers from the Federal Marshal’s office to beat the money our of you or take you into custody. When the Mafia did that it was called extortion. When the federal government does it, it is called the tax system.
Just ask the Browns and their friends.
