The Obama Sequester End Game

Barack Obama’s sequester is set to kick in on Friday and there appears to be no stopping it from taking place. This means that about 85 billion dollars will be cut from the growth in the budget (not the actual budget but what they said they would spend) and about 48 billion of that will come from the Defense Department. Obama and his Democrats could easily cut items that do not affect people but have chosen to cut where it will hurt the most. In the DOD 800,000 people will lose 20% of their salary when furloughs start at the end of April. This is being done to hurt people and there is a reason for it.
Obama wants people to hurt and he wants to pin the blame on Republicans. Obama came up with the sequester but he will put the blame on others.
No surprise there.
He wants voters to be angry with Republicans so they will be voted out in 2014 and Obama can have a majority in Congress. Then he can run roughshod over the country.
There is also another reason Obama chose to hurt people. He needs people to hurt so he can claim that cuts to government hurt people so there can be no more cuts and taxes have to be raised.
Imagine how bad it would be for Democrats if the cuts took place and no one noticed. Imagine how it would be portrayed if those cuts were so painless that people began demanding more in the way of cuts. That can’t be allowed to happen if you are a big government socialist like Obama. He needs people to get hurt so he can brainwash them into thinking big government is the answer and that there is no spending problem (after all, we need the spending to prevent people from being hurt) and that the problem is revenue.
Obama got his revenue increase and it is far above the amount of the looming cuts. The entire cut amounts to about 2.5 cents of every dollar of the projected spending. The government could easily cut 2.5% from spending (the growth in spending) and not even feel it.
That is why they are targeting people and programs that directly help people. Obama needs to inflict maximal pain to push his agenda.
This guy who so many believe cares for people is a cold and calculating political monster who cares nothing about anyone. He cares for his agenda and socialism and that is all.
So if you support him and his cuts hurt you then you got what you voted for and what you deserve. If you don’t support him and get hurt then you will have to suck it up and do the best you can.
Strong people will come through the other side intact. The weak will be worse off because their baby daddy in government is spanking them.
Deliberately harming people is wrong and the mark of a true beast.
Maybe someone in Congress can make one of the cuts the executive Air Force that ferries people like Obama and his vacation addicted wife around. Be kind of nice to see them stuck in DC actually having to do something.
Anyone with some testicular fortitude on the right side of the aisle willing to make this cut?
I doubt it. They will probably cave and give king dufus all that he wants.

More Obamacare Fallout

While Obama’s labor folks claim they have not heard any businesses complain about the impact of Obamacare the reality is that many businesses are feeling the heat. I suppose it is possible that there are not as many complaints as there could be since Obama has granted quite a few waivers to his minions so their businesses are not feeling the pinch. Others though, are downsizing or cutting hours so that they will not be stung by the huge financial impact Obamacare will have.
This started almost as soon as Obama was declared the winner of the tainted 6 November election and has been going strong ever since. Even some liberal professors (are there really any other kind) are feeling the pinch.
A community college in Pennsylvania is cutting back the hours of its adjunct instructors so that they will not fall under the definition of workers who have to be covered by their employer. The Community College of Allegheny is cutting all its part time folks back to 25 hours so that they are under the 30 hours Obamacare defines as full time for purposes of employer provided health care coverage. I wonder how many of these folks voted for Obama…
This is what happens when government mandates things that it has no business being involved in. When government makes rules that apply to businesses with 50 or more workers many small businesses that have slightly more than 50 workers scale down to below 50 to avoid the requirements. Obamacare has cutoffs and many businesses are cutting employees or scaling hours in order to avoid being bitten by the high costs of the law.
Other businesses are adding a surcharge as an individual line item specifically for Obamacare.
This is wise because it lets people know that the increase is because of the cost of Obamacare and it lets them know that cost is being passed on to them, just as all costs including tax increases, are.
I truly hope that this happens all over the country and that people are left to fend for themselves. All the mindless drones who voted for Obama and his vision of big government are likely unaware that they will have to buy health insurance and that Obamacare is not free. I want them to suffer sticker shock and outrage. I also want them to be in pain for the entire time they are required to follow the law.
Pain is a great teacher and I hope these morons are in great pain for what they have done to this country.

Shocking Video Of McCain Sign Thief

A guy named Shawn Turschak was tired of someone stealing his McCain/Pailin signs so he hooked a little dog electric fence up to the sign post and then placed a camera to record the thief.
I hope that little shock taught the kid a lesson. I hope it was severe enough to hurt for a while and bad enough to make him tell his parents about it. I have to believe that this little tyke did not decide to steal the signs on his own and was probably egged on by cowardly parents who could later claim, if he were caught, that he acted on his own and they would “punish” him. If the parents were caught, they could get in trouble with the law. Cowards.
Anyway, this is a great idea and I bet it taught, at least for a little while, a very valuable lesson.

Hillary Supporters, Come on Over

On the night the “Unifying” convention got under way a poll shows that about 30% of Hillary Clinton supporters do not support Barack Obama. Most of these folks are taking a risk by bucking the party because they risk being castigated and called traitors. Look at how Joe Lieberman has been treated since he dared to support John McCain. It is amazing that all the Democrats who refused to support him actually expect him to support them. He has given them more support than they deserve.
In any event, the Hillary supporters are not willing to support Obama. They do not think he is experienced enough and they believe that Hillary was treated unfairly during the primaries. I have said it before and I extend the offer again, come on over. You do not have to change parties (though you can if you want) and you will be free to support who you want in four years (and we won’t call you traitors). If you want to defeat Obama and give Hillary a shot in four years then the best way to do it is to get behind McCain. We can be united today for McCain and in four years we can have a spirited debate about which of the two is better qualified to lead this country. If Obama wins Hillary will not get another shot.

Now I know that if Hillary had been the nominee Debra would be supporting her and we would be on opposite sides. But the fact that Hillary lost does not mean that Debra or millions like her have to devote blind allegiance to whomever the party nominates. They should be free to vote for whom they please without being bullied or labeled as traitors. You folks should be free to put country above party and vote for what is in the nation’s best interest.
Folks, you know that terrible feeling you have in your stomach? You know that nagging ache that keeps making you wonder what if? That feeling that lets you know that you lost but still makes it hard to believe? That pain is awful and anyone who loses after putting in as much time and energy as you did and then loses has felt it and no one likes it. It intensifies as you are forced to watch the convention knowing your candidate will not be the nominee.
It is your turn to give that feeling to all the Obama backers. You have the opportunity to give a gut punch to the people who treated your candidate badly and who then treated you badly while celebrating their victory, a victory assisted by the media, a media that also turned on your candidate. You can take the life out of millions of people and their puppets in the media by voting John McCain into the White House. It will deflate Obama’s huge ego and it will give you the chance to say “I told you so.”
Come on over to our side. Yes we have differing opinions on some of the subjects but we are united in our belief that Obama lacks the experience to be president and would be a dangerous pick for our country. Remember, if he wins Hillary will not be able to run in four years. If he loses she will be all but assured the nomination.
Come on over and let’s put them through the same pain you feel. Revenge is a wonderful therapy and a dish best served cold.

Judge James Burge of Ohio has ruled that the state’s method of executing prisoners violates the Constitution because two of the three drugs used cause pain to the person getting them. I am no judge but the Constitution does not say that punishment should be pain free. It only says that it may not be cruel and unusual.
Amendment VIII:
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted. [emphasis mine]
Under this judge’s interpretation we would not be allowed to make criminals in jail do any strenuous work (like being on the chain gang) because they will have sore muscles when they are done and God forbid we cause them any pain. As far as someone being put to death, what does it matter? They have a few seconds of pain and they drift off to la la land and never wake up. I am pretty sure that for most of the murderers on death row, this is a hell of a lot more humane then how they took the lives of their victims.
We have established that the Constitution does not protect against pain, only against inflicting cruel and unusual punishment. Once pain is out of the equation we have the injection of drugs. We give needles every day and we inject medications every day. The people to whom we do this have not been convicted of anything so they are not being punished. No, we do this because it is the common way of giving certain kinds of medication and of starting IVs and drawing blood. Therefore, it is neither cruel nor is it unusual.
Judge Burge has this entirely wrong but being wrong about the Constitution should not surprise anyone when one views the picture of the judge. The judge looks like Satan without the horns and the wall behind him has a picture of Ernesto “Che” Guevara an Argentine Marxist revolutionary who was a brutal killer and who has become the icon for leftist movements. On the wall next to Che is a picture of Barack Hopey Obama. This is the second published photo I have seen where an Obambi supporter placed it next to Che which seems to be the common thread among his supporters. One was at an Obama campaign office and now this one in the judge’s office. [The picture can be viewed at the linked source]
To Socialists (Marxism is a form of Socialism) like Burge, Che, and Obama, the Constitution is a living document that can be bent and reshaped to fit just about any need. They have no concern for the basis of the law or the idea that the Constitution lays out a solid foundation rather than a flexible platform. They do not concern themselves with these things because they know that they can bend and shape the Constitution to fit their whims, like not executing someone because of a little pain. I guess he found pain in the Constitution where the SCOTUS found abortion.
Speaking of abortion, ever notice how so many leftist twits will work their butts off to keep a convicted murderer from being executed but will do anything they can to help murder unborn children? An unborn child feels pain but that does not stop the left from worshiping abortion in the church of liberalism. They take great pride in allowing a doctor to snip open a kid’s head and suck his brains out just seconds before he is born. Obama even agrees with allowing them to be born and then left alone so they can die, simply because their mothers did not want them.
The world would be a better place if these liberals had been aborted by their mothers.
