You Mean The Terrorist Lied?

I have been involved in several conversations with people who have differing opinions and one of the things I have been told is that if George Bush would have listened to the warnings of Bill Clinton about 9/11, it would have never happened. I have been informed (I say that because the information came with items questioning my intelligence and sanity) that Clinton was tough on terror and that Bush was not paying attention and that is why we were attacked.

I know this is a lot of horse dung. I have read the accounts of LTC Buzz Patterson when he carried the football for Clinton. I have no reason to doubt Patterson when he says that Clinton was failed to authorize attacks that would have gotten bin Laden. I also know bin Laden said he was emboldened to attack America the “Paper Tiger” after Clinton whimpered out of Somalia with his tail between his legs. The past administration’s reluctance to face our attackers head on allowed them to attack time and again with little punishment. The only time Clinton did anything was the occasional Tomahawk missile into Iraq as a punishment for some transgression. Hussein was probably never worried about Clinton because his attacks never lasted long (a claim Monica might have made).

So how could we have found out about and maybe stopped 9/11? How about if we would have made Zacarias Moussaoui tell us what he knew. We could have probably used Club Gitmo persuasion techniques to get him to speak. Instead, we pussy-footed around with him and he lied to the US. Say it isn’t so. Who would not have suspected that this piece of maggot crap would lie? Today in his trial he told everyone that he knew about the 9/11 plot and was supposed to participate with shoe bomber Richard Reid in hijacking an airplane and flying it into the White House. There are those who speculate that if he would have made us aware of the attacks we could have prevented them. I, of course, do not want to hear those words uttered from the mouths of anyone who criticizes the methods we use to get information from terrorists. We treated Zacarias Moussaoui the way that the liberals (and the RINO McCain) wanted and we ended up with 9/11. Their way does not work.

Moussaoui told the court he knew the World Trade Center attack was coming and he lied to investigators when arrested in August 2001 because he wanted it to happen.

“You lied because you wanted to conceal that you were a member of al- Qaida?” prosecutor Rob Spencer asked.

“That’s correct,” Moussaoui said.

Spencer: “You lied so the plan could go forward?”

Moussaoui: “That’s correct.”

The exchange could be key to the government’s case that the attacks might have been averted if Moussaoui had been more cooperative following his arrest.

Now the amazing thing is that the government just listened to this guy and assumed he was telling the truth. No one questioned the veracity of his statements and the left is not out screaming Moussaoui lied people died. No, the moonbats save that for people who deserve to be treated like a criminal such as the President.

The left is not strong on national security and they never will be. I will not go so far as to say they do not care about national security because in order to care or not you would have to understand it. We allowed them eight years to screw up national security and our intelligence and law enforcement agencies to the point that they did not recognize he was a threat and they failed to get information that he had. In addition, the only group of people who connected the dots about the terrorists, Able Danger, were prohibited from communicating the information because of Clinton Administration rules.
