With Hussein, **it Flows Downhill at a Heightened Rate

Oh boy, it just keeps on coming. These traitors that Hussein has in his direct AND indirect employ are at it again, or should I say, they never quit with their sleezy little ploys and asinine games. Now they plan to Hijack (certainly no pun intended here) the day of 9/11 for their own purposes, and to “lessen” the emotional impact 9/11 has on American ideals. This is a gross and repugnant political misuse of a sacred day for America, and Hussein wants to use it for his petty political gain.

The Obama White House is behind a cynical, coldly calculated political effort to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry.

This effort to reshape the American psyche has nothing to do with healing the nation and everything to do with easing the nation along in the ongoing radical transformation of America that President Obama promised during last year’s election campaign. The president signed into law a measure in April that designated Sept. 11 as a National Day of Service, but it’s not likely many lawmakers thought this meant that day was going to be turned into a celebration of ethanol, carbon emission controls, and radical community organizing.

The administration’s plans were outlined in an Aug. 11 White House-sponsored teleconference call run by Obama ally Lennox Yearwood, president of the Hip Hop Caucus, and Liv Havstad, the group’s senior vice president of strategic partnerships and programs.

Yeah, Hussein and his allies, including ACORN, and Color of Change, another “community organizing” huckster outfit, led by Van Jones, one of Hussein’s “Czars”, all want to change 9/11 into a “day of service”, apparently where we serve the great Mess-iah in some way or another. It, like so MANY of his little paltry picayune plans, is not specific- just the overview, as if that alone, coupled with allegedly mellifluous tones, are suposed to convince us that he is right. It just is not so, Mr. Resident.

The plan is to turn a “day of fear” that helps Republicans into a day of activism called the National Day of Service that helps the left. In other words, nihilistic liberals are planning to drain 9/11 of all meaning.

“They think it needs to be taken back from the right,” said the source. “They’re taking that day and they’re breaking it because it gives Republicans an advantage. To them, that day is a fearful day.”

A coalition including the unsavory left-wing pressure group Color of Change and about 60 far-left, environmentalist, labor, and corporate shakedown groups participated in the call. Groups on the call included: ACORN, AFL-CIO, Apollo Alliance, Community Action Partnership, Deep South Center for Environmental Justice, 80 Million Strong for Young American Jobs, Friends of the Earth, Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, Mobilize.org, National Black Police Association, National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, National Council of Negro Women, National Wildlife Federation, RainbowPUSH Coalition, Urban League, and Young Democrats of America.

Wow- that’s quite a lineup- all groups I would usher off of my lawn with a shotgun- all extremists, all liberal socialists to the core, and all wrong. These groups are what is wrong with America today, and they give the Democratic party a bad name, in the guilt by association sort of way. And the hits just keep on coming.

With the help of the Obama administration, the coalition is launching a public relations campaign under the radar of the mainstream media — which remains almost uniformly terrified of criticizing the nation’s first black president — to try to change 9/11 from a day of reflection and remembrance to a day of activism, food banks, and community gardens.

“The organizing term is to ‘go dark.’ You don’t tell the press, don’t tell people you think will tell the press,” said the source.

Of course, the annual commemoration of the 2001 terrorist attacks belongs to the entire nation, but President Obama and the activist left don’t see it that way. They view the nationwide remembrance of the murder of 3,000 Americans by Islamic totalitarians as an obstacle to winning over the hearts and minds of the American people.

One day at a time, Hussein and his merry band of traitors seek to transform our country into the “workers paradise” that socialist cant always describes, but always fails at. They will fail again.

They view Sept. 11 as a “Republican” day because it focuses the public on supposedly “Republican” issues like patriotism, national security, and terrorism. According to liberals, 9/11 was long ago hijacked by Republicans and their enablers and unfairly used to bludgeon helpless Democrats at election time.

MSNBC’s foremost left-wing bloviator, Keith Olbermann, summed up this ugly perspective the week after the Republican Party convention last year:

“But 9/11 has become a brand name. A Republican campaign slogan. Propaganda of the lowest form. 9/11 has become 9/11 with a trademark logo. “9/11 TM” has sustained a president who long ago should have been dismissed, or impeached. It has kept him and his gang of financial and constitutional crooks in office without — literally — any visible means of support. “9/11 TM” has made possible the greatest sleight-of-hand in our nation’s history.”

On Aug. 4, the White House offered a glimpse into its plans to desecrate 9/11 for political advantage. Jones appeared in a largely ignored 33-minute video posted on the official blog of the White House to discuss the administration’s plan to flush 9/11 down the memory hole just as it has tried to do by rechristening the Global War on Terror the “Overseas Contingency Operations.”

Yes, sometimes I believe that these people feel no pride in America, no sense of belonging, they do not want to make America great, instead they seek to tear us down.

There has been nothing, I repeat nothing that these people seek to do that is uplifting, that has actually helped the American people to get past these times, instead, Hussein and his little craven minions do everything, and I mean everything they can possibly do to put up roadblocks to recovery.

For as long as they can keep us down and reeling on the ropes, they feel they have a chance at “their share” of the American dream.

Why can’t they dream of actually doing real work , instead of stealing the American Dream away from the rest of us?

Their minds are not right.

Jesus, Mary, and Joseph! Words simply cannot describe how big of a buffoon this post reveals you to be.

    • Blake says:

Gee Adam- how so? Simply because I love my country enough to be concerned that communists, marxists, socialists, and others who ACTIVELY HATE OUR COUNTRY are trying to overturn our way of life. This much is evident to me.
The fact that it is (you say) not evident to you means you are either (A)- an idiot,or (B)- you want this transformation to take place.
Ask yourself, how can idiot lawmakers come up with SO MANY 1000 page plus bills in such a short amount of time.
And then ask yourself, why don’t they even READ them?

  2. Big Dog says:

Maybe not but your words just did that for you.

  3. Adam says:

Evil Obama is turning 9/11 into a day of community involvement and remembrance? Obama and his jackbooted thugs won’t rest until every little old lady is helped across the street and each tiny kitten is plucked down from their trees! Oh the socialism! Oh the un-Americanism! Oh my God what will we do!

    • Blake says:

You have no idea what that guy wants to do- you remind me of the people who lived near Treblinka concentration, yet said they had NO idea that people were being gassed, or the pillows they bought to lay their heads on at night were made of human hair.
You’re clueless, because you do not WANT to know the answers.
      I pity you.

  4. Adam says:

First Obama came for our Veterans Ball, and I didn’t speak up because I wasn’t a veteran. Then Obama came for our National Day of Prayer, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a Fundamentalist Christian. Then Obama came for our 9/11 day, and I didn’t speak up, because I wasn’t a 9/11 victim. Then Obama came for my birthday, and he made me a cake I couldn’t eat because I’m a vegan…

    • Blake says:

Your analogy is far more apt than you believe- except for the cake part- what, milk and eggs makes you sick?
You ARE a manly man there.

      • Blake says:

You will have to excuse me for an hour or two- I’m feeling like killing and grilling a chicken tonight. Back in a few.
        You all talk amongst yourselves.

  5. Adam says:

You’re right. I’m such a liberal little girl with my 100% plant based diet! Real conservative manly men eat red meat and boiled eggs and wash it all down with whole milk and then they die of massive heart attacks at the age of 50 so they don’t have to live off socialist security…

    • Big Dog says:

I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news but no matter how good your diet is you are going to die.

Life is a sexually transmitted terminal condition. So enjoy it while you are here.

  6. Adam says:

Yeah, you’re going to die anyway, so what you want to do is increase your chances of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and stroke, right?

  7. Adam says:

Well, I jest but really my 100% plant diet has very little to do with health.

    • Blake says:

A truer sentence I never have read.

      • Adam says:

Not really sure what you think I meant. All I’m saying is I drastically reduced my consumption of animals and animal bi-products because of the absolutely revolting way we treat farm animals in our country and not to cut my risk of cancer, stroke, heart disease or diabetes.

Which for the record while you were smarting off about your dinner it is good to know I support 100% your raising and killing of chickens and other animals for eating in the same way that I support my own father’s seasonal hunting and freezing of deer meat to save money throughout the year.

        • Blake says:

Well, thank you- and what I was referring to was that even with your diet, you never know if it truly helps or hurts.
For 10,000 years, man has been a carnivore (actually an ominvore) but our system evolved to accept meat, because nothing else gives more bang for the buck protein wise, but there are substitutes, as long as you like beans, soy, and nuts. Not quite as protein- rich, but acceptable.

        • Adam says:

My concern is that we haven’t lived off processed foods created from factory farmed animals for 10,000 years and I’m not appreciating at all what our food industry will do to cut costs and increase profits.

Most Americans for instance get many times the amount of protein they need from day to day and some nutritionists are starting to feel this does more harm than good.

I’ll take some good old fashioned veggie protein and the nutrients that come with it any day.

        • Blake says:

Well, yes you are correct- but then I have had doubts ever since the birth control pill came out and the Pharma did their testing on the population- now we know what might be likely 20 years down the road or so , and it aint pretty. Same could be said of other products including growth hormones in our food chain.
That’s why I have a garden, and chickens, as well as goats (Darrel would probably approve- lets NOT tell him- he’d just want to talk about that)’ That is why I fish, and try not to use things with hormones in them. When I eat red meat, its bison- much leaner, and grass fed.

  8. Barbara says:

I do a lot of charity things, but on September 11th, I will not do any definitely as Obama is not going to change my mind about 9/11 and I am not about to serve him or give in to his demands.

  9. victoria says:

You can’t politcally correct away the truth–well-except with really stupid people like the ones we have running Washington right now. Reminder: Only 14 Republicans in the Senate voted against the bill.

    • Blake says:

This is why we need a clean sweep. As I have said before, replace a Republican with a Dem, and a Dem with a Rep.- and then tell them we can do it again if they don’t act like Americans.

  10. Adam says:

Let me remind everyone here that Bush declared 9/11 a day of community service several times over his last few years and the same Republican and Democrat from the NY area involved in that part of this legislation have worked since 9/11 to make the day such an event.

Only now when Obama signs it, and with your right wing knee jerk reaction to “community service” being some code word for evil, are you freaking out.

I would suggest that one possible reason only 14 republicans voted against the bill…because only deranged lunatics like yourselves would look at the bill and look at the 9/11 service day and be afraid for the future of our country.

Community service! Oh the disdain for our way of life!

    • Blake says:

It is not the “community service” part I object to- it is the minimizing of the day as one of remembrance.
It is good to remember- it is necessary to remember, so this does not happen again.
And I really am becoming tired of the names you reflexively call me.

      • Adam says:

That’s why you spend so much time ripping the community organization groups gearing up to take part in the 9/11 community stuff and to raise awareness to various issues in our communities around the country?

Just because your conservative rag says he’s trying to keep it from being a day of remembrance doesn’t mean anything. I mean, some legislation moving froward is called “National Day of Service and Remembrance” for goodness sake. There’s more info here:

The Senator Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act that was passed by both Houses of Congress and signed into-law by President Obama earlier this year laid the groundwork for September 11th to become a national day not just of remembrance, but also of service. The Matsui/King resolution announced today in combination with the national activities Members of Congress are planning in coordination with the White House, the Corporation for National and Community Service, non-profit organizations and many 9/11 families, are designed to encourage Americans to take part in projects to strengthen in their communities in every corner of every state in the country.

Well, I’ll stop calling you a wing nut or a moron and you stop calling me a moron and cease all your annoying little school boy references to my manhood, manning up, my short ones, etc. We’ll see how long it lasts before one of us falls off the wagon.

        • Blake says:

Agreed- But I must say, anything called the Edward Kennedy Serve America Act should rightly involve alcoholism and DWIs.

        • Adam says:

Well, after having 8 years of a POTUS and a Vice POTUS with so many drunk driving violations between them I guess the American people should be used to it.

        • Blake says:

As to “community organizations”, some of them are just cover for more insidious uses by the members on the part of the “organizers” like Van Jones, and the founder of ACORN, and the Apollo Alliance.
I am afraid in your zeal to defend these organizations, you are not taking a critical look at just what these people and organizations are doing, and by the time you figure this out, and quit defending them, it may be too late.
I feel that you are an intelligent man, but you are not looking close enough.
Oh- and Van Jones was arrested not once, but twice- the second time during a World Trade Organization conference in New York.
I wonder how lax the FBI vetting was. Did Hussein say, I want this guy, I do not care that he is an avowed Communist?

        • Adam says:

If you got the goods on ACORN and the Apollo Alliance based on things that people like Glenn Beck said then it makes sense that you would fear them so much.

You’re still lying about Van Jones. He’s not an avowed Communist just because at one time he considered himself a commie years ago any more than I’m an avowed independent even though I considered myself that a few years back. Jones has never been charged with anything no matter how many times he’s been arrested.

        • Blake says:

I do not think so – and I do my own research- but I must say I have just GOT to get me one of those “Dashboard Obamas” that Beck has- I understand they say on the back, “Made in China- with our money”. How true.
Bama-rama IS in an “angelic pose”- as if he is “blessing ” the throng.
Could the loaves and fishes be next?
Or will he part the Red Ink?

  11. victoria says:

Adam-people have a right to decide when and where they want to serve or give back and we don’t need legislation for that and further more they could have chose any of the 365 other days in the year to do this so why–Sept 11? Because according to Obama we weren’t empathetic enough to the poor lunatics who did this and didn’t give them enough. The only thing is–those guys who perpetrated 9/11 were’t poor nor were they uneducated.

    • Adam says:

This has nothing to do with terrorist sympathy and furthermore this is not even the brainchild of Obama. So stop lying. This is just something congress has been working on for years since 9/11 and Obama has addressed some of it.

      • Blake says:

It did not need to be addressed.

      • Blake says:

And considering that Hussein is trying to make “community service” compulsory, that sounds a LOT like a draft to me- how many dems thought it was Bush who would bring back the draft, and yet it is Hussein?
        Now, THAT’S irony.

      • victoria says:

Sure it is–according to Obama and the far left 9/11 was just a tradgedy that occured and it maybe would not have occured if we were more sympathetic and generous to the poor and uneducated over in the middle east.

      • Adam says:

        Victoria:

I have never seen Obama say that. I’d love to see where you saw him say it.

But again, if this was created by Obama you might have a point. It’s not. You don’t.

I will say again that this is the work of several members Congress from both parties going back to the years just after 9/11, specially some from the NY area. They seek to channel the positive energy surrounding the American response to 9/11 into a day of community service and giving back, not to forget what 9/11 was or to turn it into some leftist thing as you seem to easy to want to believe it to be.

Obama simply signed the legislation and has great support for it because it works nicely with his overall goals for increased community involvement.

Obama: 9-11 happened because al-Qaida lacks ’empathy’
Senator lectures U.S. military, blames terror on ‘poverty, ignorance, despair’

    © 2009 WorldNetDaily

JERUSALEM – The 9-11 attacks were carried out because of a lack of “empathy” for others’ suffering on the part of al-Qaida, whose terrorist ideology “grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair,” Sen. Barack Obama explained in largely unreported comments eight days after the mega-terror attacks that rocked the nation.

Obama went on to imply the September 11th attacks were in part a result of U.S. policy, lecturing the American military to minimize civilian casualties in the Middle East and urging action opposing “bigotry or discrimination directed against neighbors and friends of Middle-Eastern descent.”

“Even as I hope for some measure of peace and comfort to the bereaved families, I must also hope that we, as a nation, draw some measure of wisdom from this tragedy,” Obama wrote in a piece about 9-11 published on Sept. 19, 2001, in Chicago’s Hyde Park Herald.

The senator continued: “Certain immediate lessons are clear, and we must act upon those lessons decisively. We need to step up security at our airports. We must re-examine the effectiveness of our intelligence networks and we must be resolute in identifying the perpetrators of these heinous acts and dismantling their organizations of destruction,” wrote Obama.

“We must also engage, however, in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness. The essence of this tragedy, it seems to me, derives from a fundamental absence of empathy on the part of the attackers: an inability to imagine, or connect with, the humanity or suffering of others. Such a failure of empathy, such numbness to the pain of a child or the desperation of a parent is not innate; nor, history tells us, is it unique to a particular culture, religion or ethnicity. It may find expression in a particular brand of violence, it may be channeled by particular demagogues or fanatics.

“Most often, though, it grows out a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.

“We will have to make sure, despite our rage, that any U.S. military action takes into account the lives of innocent civilians abroad. We will have to be unwavering in opposing bigotry or discrimination directed against neighbors and friends of Middle-Eastern descent. Finally, we will have to devote far more attention to the monumental task of raising the hopes and prospects of embittered children across the globe – children not just in the Middle East, but also in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and within our own shores.”

  13. Blake says:

Yea, Victoria, I see no need, unlike Hussein, to try and understand the minds of rabid animals. You just kill them wherever they are found, for the good of all.

  14. Adam says:

    Victoria:

Fair enough. I don’t know if I’d sum it up quite like you did though. Obama isn’t saying it’s “just a tragedy that occurred.” But was 9/11 not a tragedy? As far as it being prevented I don’t know if he said it so much like that but I do tend to agree with the notion that we have things we can do to prevent future terrorism at the same time that we are stopping current terrorists and it doesn’t all involve warfare.

    Blake:

You have a very narrow response to it. All Obama is saying and what many liberals have said (sticking with your example some more) is that there is a separate number of things we can do to understand and prevent rabies outbreaks that are separate from how we treat those already infected.

    • victoria says:

That is why conservatives say that 9/11 was an act of war and so far the war is still on because it was not us who declared war in the first place and so far it is not won or lost. Liberals say it was a tragedy and we need to treat terrorists like criminals–like the criminals we have in prisons now–who sold drugs or robbed someone or murdered someone. There is a huge difference between a terrorist during a war committing acts of war and the average criminal. It is not hard to understand. As far as I am concerned congress should declare it criminal to politicize such a thing and complicate things to the extent that they have in order to deal with this WAR.

  15. Adam says:

Or maybe you think terrorists are simply born terrorists and simply need to be killed.

    • Blake says:

I think that terrorists are indoctrinated early, and I think in their case, when in doubt, kill it.
I don’t care to “feel their pain”, nor do I want to get into their inner child- I do not care about their imagined slights or 1,000 year old grudges- and I could not care less about their religion- if their religion says to kill the infidel, I say kill them first.
      Is that plain enough?

      • Adam says:

You plainly have a very narrow approach to an incredibly complex subject, that’s for sure. No sane person is saying feel sorry for terrorists or feel their pain or any junk like that but it’s only smart to understand your enemy a little and understand the processes that go into making a normal human a murderer. Shoot first, ask questions later…that’s not a sane policy.

But this is a sidetrack anyway…the bottom line with this conversation is that Victoria is off base in suggesting that Obama is desecrating 9/11 because he has a wrong headed view of it. He’s not, and he doesn’t.

        • Blake says:

The subject is only as complex as you make it, Adam- and yes, Hussein has a wrong-headed view of it and is seeking to minimize the “terrorist” aspect of the murderous attacks on American citizens and others, on American soil, instead trying to put a warm and fuzzy partisan spin on it, which is despicable, to put it mildly.
That’s like asking the Jewish people to “celebrate” the holocaust, or the attacks in Munich- oh wait- Spielberg did that, didn’t he?

        • Blake says:

Do keep in mind that my forefathers came from the area of Kentucky and W. Virginia, and were familiar with the Hatfields and McCoys, so we know what a feud is- that is as much of their mindset as I care to know. We can carry grudges too, and if you piss off the American people enough, we’ll turn their country into a sea of glass smooth enough to skate on.
Just ask the Japanese- oh, we’ll feel sorry later, and help rebuild, but generations will be ash by then- the others will learn.

        • Adam says:

They’re not trying to force people to do charity like Barbara thinks. They’re not trying to let terrorists off the hook or whatever it is Victoria thinks they’re trying to do. They’re not trying to turn it into some leftist holiday or minimize the terrorist aspect as you are saying they are Blake.

Heaven forbid we take the 9/11 anniversary and make it a day where we focus more on the positives about the American spirit that triumphed and the sacrifices made that day as opposed to simply dwelling 100% on the terrorism and hate and death that we all witnessed that day. That’s all these congress members and Obama seek to do, and I support that.

If that makes us un-American in your eyes or you think it’s somehow desecrating 9/11, then I’d like to think you’re the one who is wrong-headed.

        • Blake says:

Yes, Adam, they ARE trying to minimize the terrorist aspect of it and turn those bad old terrorists into teletubbies or some such equivalent non- threatening symbol. This has been a pervasive theme, because when it comes to defense of our nation, liberals LOSE on that issue alone, so they seek to minimize the threat, to take the issue of defense, which they were never any good at, and defuse it.
Trouble is, they can’t defuse it, because truth be told, these ragheads will kill liberals too- they do not care.
