The Democrats keep telling us that George Bush should listen to the commanders on the ground. They claimed he never listened to them which has been disputed by commanders who say they got what they asked for. In any event, the commander in Iraq has asked for additional troops. General David Petraeus would like 2000 to 2500 more troops in theater and he is asking at a time when Democrats are working hard to block additional deployments and are trying to bring our troops home.
The big question is, will the Democrats do that which they claimed Bush did? Will they deny the commander on the ground? Will they not listen?
