Why He Is Not President

Though the conspiracy theorists will tell you Al Gore is the President who got cheated those who know reality understand that he lost. Unfortunately Gore is among the demented who can not get on with their lives. He is also among the groups that include our media who insist that President Bush is to blame for Katrina. He has taken the tact of the rest of the left and that is to ignore the incompetence of the local government and focus blame on the federal government. It does not surprise me that Gore and the rest of the left has forgotten or ignored the Constitution and invoked their own rules. They do this all the time with liberal judges who legislate from the bench. Here is what loony tunes Al had to say to a group of people in San Francisco:
When the corpses of American citizens are floating in toxic flood waters five days after a hurricane struck, it is time not only to respond directly to the victims of the catastrophe, but to hold … the leaders of our nation accountable.
Al, the leaders of our nation are not responsible. We are a republic so the leaders of the state are responsible. But let us take Al’s words as true for the sake of argument. Al, where are the documents holding you and Bill Clinton responsible for the Oklahoma City bombing? That was actually a home grown terror attack on our own soil. It was not an act of nature that could not be stopped. It was a crime that you could have prevented (you are after all accountable). So let me give an opening from my speech:
When corpses of Americans including scores of children are lying all over the place in splattered little piles and crushed beneath the rubble of a blown up building days after a terror attack it is time not only to respond directly to the victims of the catastrophe, but to hold..the leaders of our nation accountable.
So big Al, are you ready to step up and accept full responsibility? Or can you now possibly see that tragedy strikes and we respond to the best of our ability. And Al, most of the victims were white. Were you slow because of affirmative action? Did you not prevent the tragedy because it was only a bunch of white folks who deserved to die? Did you take forever to get the victim’s mangled bodies out because they were a bunch of hayseeds from the Heartland?
You see Al, I and the rest of the sane world do not hold you accountable for actions you could not prevent and circumstances that made response difficult and slow. Perhaps you can drop the party rhetoric and put down your kool-aid long enough to see the same is true in this instance.
I sure am glad you did not get elected. You would have been too busy getting illegal funds from Chinese businessmen to respond to 9/11 or Katrina. Now go back to your padded room, call uncle Ted and ask him to bring over some scotch. Then do us all a favor and wash down a dozen or so diazepams with a quart of said scotch.
