Why Doesn’t Hillary Drop The Charade?

Hell to Pay: The Unfolding Story of Hillary Rodham Clinton

Ever since Hillary ran for the Senate the first time thinking people knew that New York was just a stepping stone back to the White House. In addition to wanting to be a gymnast and an astronaut, Hillary wants more than anything to go down in history as the first female president of the US. She has played the game remarkably well and has quite a few people believing that she is totally focused on reelection to the Senate. Her assertions that she has not thought about the presidency are completely bogus but there are a lot of people who take her at her word. One only needs to look at her travels, the amount of money she has raised, and from where it is coming to see she is indeed looking past her certain reelection. Her sights are set on the White house and everyone but Hillary and those who drink her kool aid seem to know it.

New Yorkers should be outraged that a carpetbagger came in and is using them for her own advancement. Tip to New Yorkers, Hillary first, New York second. Interestingly, the Hill has out an article that should settle this once and for all. Hillary is running in 2008.

Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe has told business associates and Democratic donors that he will chair Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s (D-N.Y.) presidential campaign next year, according to several Democratic sources.

Together, Clinton, the favorite to win the Democratic nomination, and McAuliffe, the top money man in Democratic politics, have a good chance of raising $100 million before the first official contest, the Iowa caucuses in January 2008.

This should make it abundantly clear that she is running. People do not make this stuff up and though i am sure it as not supposed to be made public, the cat is now out of the bag. For her part, Clinton still stands firm in her assertion that she is only focused on reelection to the Senate. Nice try but the reality of the situation is that she is so far ahead right now she could die tomorrow and would be reelected in New York.

I never, ever want to see another Clinton in the White House. Clinton would be a disaster for this country. I suspect though, many will play that up when she runs. there will be accusations that she is not treated fairly because she is a woman. She is a viper and should be treated as such. Besides, if you hear such talk you should ask why she should be treated differently than the men running.

I have stated many times before that America is ready for a woman president. there are many capable women out there who would do a great job. I know many women who are not politicians who would be great at running this country. I just don’t think that this country, nor its women, are ready for Clinton to hold the reins. If she makes it in and is a disaster, this country will not elect another woman to the White House for many, many years.

  1. Hillary wants to make it look as if she’s being begged to run.

I sincerely doubt that Hillary would win the White House (And maaannn, I hope I’m right!), she is much too transparent in her ambitions and carries too much baggage, so if she wins the primaries it will be a plus for her opponent — the Republican candidate will get a lot of votes that might otherwise have gone over to the left, or quite a few conservative Dems will sit that one out.

She likes being a victim. By saying she’s not running, she can set herself up all around as a victim — being “drafted” to run; being “cheated” out of votes; etc, etc.

And she’s a Clinton — lying is second nature to her, like her hubby, she literally is incapable of telling the truth.

Large Mutt, you wrote: “She is a viper and should be treated as such.” But you know man, I have a lot of respect for vipers, they have their place in this world. Now, mosquitoes? You know, that incessant buzzing at night? Well, the buzzing is from the male mosquito and he isn’t a blood sucker I understand, the female mosquito is silent, AND she is the biter, the blood sucker… 😉

Many of us are and always have been outraged. However, unfortunately there are more koolaid drinkers in NY than non. The rest of us are resigned to our fate. We haven’t had solid republican leadership since the 60’s and 70’s.
