Who Are The Racists?

The left is pretty quick to scream racism regardless of whether it actually exists or not. Disagree with Obama, racist. Disagree with health care reform, racist, member of the TEA Party, racist. They see racism everywhere that a conservative walks but are blind to the racism that exists among their ranks.

Let me be clear, there is no place for racism from either party or from any individual or group in this country. We are a nation of diverse people which is one of our greatest strengths. This nation is perhaps one of the only ones in the world where so many different kinds of people live together and we achieve so much because of our diversity.

There is also no room for the phony calls of racism as a weapon to silence dissent. During Health Care Sunday in Washington DC the race card was used after Nancy Pelosi and members of the Congressional Black Caucus attempted to provoke TEA Party members. When that did not work they fabricated an incident of racism. There were claims that black lawmakers were spat upon and called the N word (15 times no less). There is absolutely no video or audio evidence that this happened. It appears to be a coordinated effort among different factions to fabricate the entire thing in order to marginalize the TEA Party members. Doug Ross has the time line of a TEA Party smear.

What is not fabricated is the absolute hatred of any black conservative. Blacks who happen to be conservative are called Oreos, Uncle Toms and sell outs. They are viewed as having left the Democrat plantation and as people who betrayed the Democrats and their race.

They’ve been called Oreos, traitors and Uncle Toms, and are used to having to defend their values. Now black conservatives are really taking heat for their involvement in the mostly white tea party movement—and for having the audacity to oppose the policies of the nation’s first black president.

“I’ve been told I hate myself. I’ve been called an Uncle Tom. I’ve been told I’m a spook at the door,” said Timothy F. Johnson, chairman of the Frederick Douglass Foundation, a group of black conservatives who support free market principles and limited government. Breitbart

Black conservatives are embracing the TEA Party movement and feel at home among the mostly white crowd because they know that the people there do not care about race and that we all, as AMERICANS, share the same goal.

The hatred and the racism comes from the left as they work to marginalize black conservatives. My good friend Lloyd Marcus is a black conservative and he has been attacked from the left because of his beliefs. I am proud to call him my friend and know he is firm in his beliefs.

Another black conservative who is comfortable among the TEA Party members is Angela McGlowan. She is running for Congress in Mississippi’s First Congressional District and I think she will be a welcome addition to the Congress. If you are interested in learning more about her or contributing to her campaign, her website is here.

The American landscape is changing because of the radical Obama regime in DC. He promised us change and now it looks like that change is more black conservatives running for office.

They will certainly get the support of conservatives. I don’t expect liberals to support them but I do wonder how long it will be before the left starts spewing their racist rants about them.

And they say conservatives are racists.

Never surrender, never submit.

I really don’t get in on the racist stuff much. It’s not a specialty *at all.* I barely understand it. I try to assume that the republicans have the best motives on this issue. I think a lot of them do, even the vast majority. I defend them when I think the charge is bogus (examples upon request).

    But.

You’ve seen the video of the man in question, angry, and wiping something off of his face. That’s all you get with a video camera.

Bigd, are you really not aware that the Tea Party group is chock full of racists?

    Really?

    Here are some links:

Social Networks Help Republican Racism Go Viral –15 examples, republican leader ship.

Dozens of examples, some of them by Tea Party leaders, posted in our forum here:

    Racism against Obama.

If this stuff isn’t racist, what the hell would racism look like?

  3. Big Dog says:

You have MILLIONS of people involved in the TEA Party and a few cause trouble and you paint the entire movement.

I am not certain they are TEA Party members. We know that Soros has people trolling the web to leave comments and make the TEA Party look bad.

No one was spat upon. If, and this is a big if, anything hit the guy it was the result of screaming and not an intentional spit.

No one spit on the guy and if he was wiping how do we know that it was not a ruse?

100,000 dollars offered by Breitbart for any evidence. No takers.

    All coordinated.

You have no proof that anyone who posts in your forum is a TEA Party member. I could go there, sign up and claim to be an Obamabot and then make bad claims and it would be pinned on the left.

And those 15 examples, many taken out of context. That boy is considered racist when it was a poor choice of words yet Harry Reid uses words that are racist and is given a pass.

You will have to do better than this list. We can parse these things all day and come up with lists based on half truths or poor word choices.

How many of the people in those pictures were part of the TEA Party?

    NONE.

I think I have said it many times that there are racists on both sides. You guys excuse yours and say it does not exist. This post is about the TEA Party.

None of the racism you people cry about is there.

It is fabricated in the pattern laid out by Alinsky.

Of course not. You obviously didn’t look. What is posted is *examples* of racism against Obama, cited with verifiable references. Who posted it is irrelevant.

Tea People get spanked pretty quick on our forum. Then they RUN. Mike Radigan came by and thought he was going to GET me once. He made it two posts.

Bigd: “No one spit on the guy and if he was wiping how do we know that it was not a ruse?”>>

      DAR
IF he was wiping? You’ve seen the video and you are in such denial that you can’t even admit he wiped something off of his face? No, he was concocting a careful ruse to make it look like Tea Partiers are brutish idiots.

But that doesn’t take a careful ruse. All you have to do is read their signs.

Sixty-seven examples of screwed up language on Tea Party signs. They even have a name for it now: Teabonics.

How dumb do you have to be to walk around in public, with a childish spelling mistake on your sign?

      D.

  4. Racism was once well understood as the conviction that a racial difference gave one group more rights than another — for example, that Caucasians had rights that Negroes do not (including the right to abuse Negroes). In that sense, the accusation of racism has always been a political pejorative, though it could have an objective basis. But the modern use of “racism!” as a cry with which to prevent the discussion of policy differences is something quite different and far worse.

Note that left-liberals, the majority of whom favor race-based policies such as preferential admissions to colleges and racial set-asides in government contracting, bridle at being called racists, though they plainly are such. In their world view, racism is okay when it’s put to their preferred ends, and they don’t want any backtalk about it.

The cat comes out of the bag with the accusations of racism against black conservatives such as Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, and Ward Connerly. These men oppose race-based policies; they want the race-blind politics that Martin Luther King advocated. But the race-hustlers of the Left are unwilling that we should have that; there’s way too much money and far too many votes to be had in perpetuating the canard that “whitey” is the reason for “the black man’s troubles.”

The media’s treatment of crimes that contradict the Left’s preferred racial narrative is quite revealing as well. (Remember the Duke Lacrosse scandal?) If there’s a better moral reason to eject the Left from power forever, it escapes me at this hour.

  5. Adam says:

There is a coordinated effort by the right to write off racism on their side by pretending it’s not really racism after all. See, it’s obviously just knee jerk liberals falsely accusing them or playing the race card. And when it’s concretely racist? Well, there’s racists on the liberal side too so it doesn’t matter, right? Or better yet, there are more liberal racists since they support “reverse racism” in the form of quotas or affirmative action.

Get real, folks. I don’t expect you to have to call out racism on your own side lest you be considered racist too. I’ll leave that stupid game to your side to play against mine. But at the same time can we stop pretending that accusations of racism are worse than racism itself?

    • Big Dog says:

The accusations are just as bad. You can ruin people’s lives with these kinds of lies. If you aqre a racist who only hates people but does not act out against them then you really hurt no one but your own miserable self. If you make accusations you can hurt someone.

If you are going to call someone a racist then make sure you are right and do not excuse the same behavior because you agree with the person’s politics. Reid, Biden and Hillary said things that were racist and would have been derided had a conservative said them and you people find excuses.

Call out racism but do it to everyone who is or says racist things.

And stop manufacturing racism as a political weapon. If someone disagrees with Obama he is not a racist.

You need to get that in your head.

  6. Big Dog says:

Once again Darrel, you paint an entire movement with the brush of a few people who might not even be a member.

Yes, signs. Care to look around and see the signs that were carried when GW was president? The difference is that becuse Obama is black you all equate it to racism.

Disagreeing with him, showing him as Hitler and hanging him in effigy are things that were all done to GW. No one screamed racism when a black guy was carrying the sign.

As I said before, you guys scream racism over everything.

As for your forum, not interested. I do not need to see a bunch of children sitting around and deluding themselves with visions of roasting and spanking while they pleasure themselves over their supposed superiority.

I did not see the person wipe anything off and if he did it could be a ruse. Given that no one yelled the N word it is possible. It is also possible that spittle came out of the guy’s mouth as he was screaming and it was inadvertent.

It is also possible that he was an SEIU or DNC plant.
