What Reputation Mr. Soros?

George Soros was involved in some insider trading many years ago in France. He has been fighting that conviction for all these years and yesterday it was learned that the French courts have upheld the decision.

Mr. Soros will be fined quite a bit of money, around 2.8 billion dollars (now that is a fine!). There was one part of the article that is quite humorous:

At an appeals hearing in 2005, Soros told the court his insider trading conviction had been a “gift to my enemies” in the United States and elsewhere. “My reputation is at stake,” he said.

Here we have another “ethical” moonbat crying that this conviction gives his enemies a gift and his reputation is at stake. Believe me when I say that he did not have a good reputation among his enemies to begin with. He was found guilty of a crime by the left’s favorite people, the French, who did not take kindly to the way Soros made his money. Soros contends he did nothing wrong, a typical defense for a moonbat caught with his hand in the cookie jar (see William Jefferson, Democrat Louisiana).

Just think. Now Soros will have 2.8 billion fewer dollars with which to harass Republican candidates.
