What Goes Around

Last week there was a story about some secret prisons being run by the CIA. This information was in a story in the Washington Post. At the time, all I saw on the moonbat blogs was stories about how terrible it is that this is going on. This, they said, was a worrisome thing and the Administration is just taking us in the wrong direction.

I never read where any of them asked where the information came from. If these jails exist then it is a classified project. Why were these moonbats not jumping up and down asking who leaked the information? I don’t know who let it out though I suspect someone at the CIA is involved in an effort to get back at the President for his shake up of the organization after their miserable intelligence failure leading up to 9/11. In all probability, this is how the name of Valerie Plame was released.

Amazing as it might seem the left was not concerned with this leak. The supposed outing of a non-covert agent was big news to them because they were looking for pay dirt. Well, now someone is going to have to pay for this crime. Speaker Hastert and Senate Majority Leader Frist have directed the intelligence committees to look into this. They did not ask them to do it or say they should do it, they said an investigation will take place.

Let us hope that they find the person or persons involved and then the world can see what kind of partisan politics the moonbats play.

Didn’t I see somewhere where this information may have been leaked by a Republican Senator? I can’t list my source because, well, I admit to be skimming the news this month. Anyway, I agree that whoever it is should be found and tried. However, the story itself isn’t new news. 48 Hours or Dateline had something on it months ago.

I also don’t think that the secret prisons is new with this administration. I suspect they’ve been around at least as long as the Reagan era if not the early 70’s. Then again, I’m just a conspiracy theorist. However, believing they exist and approving of them are two different things.

Quite frankly, we need all the resources we can muster to stop al-Qaeda. We should be able to send them to secret prisons on the moon if that’s what it takes to stop another 9/11.

Now here’s an observation for you. Did anyone ever get arrested for running these secret private prisons? Yes. Should they be? No. We should be allowed to kill any terrorist to protect our children and civilians. Did anyone ever stop to think that maybe this Jack Idema guy was not a loose cannon mercernary? Considering all the men with him were government employees of the Afghan military and CIA, why isn’t someone asking more questions about what Idema was really doing with terrorists being hidden away secretly?

It is now clear to anyone and everyone that pays attention, that the terrorists were neither abused or hurt, and that they were real and dangerous terrorists. Idema and his people should be getting medals, not rotting in jail.
