Were Any Soldiers Injured?

There is a report out that veteran Newsman Bob Woddruff and a cameraman, Doug Vogt, were seriously injured by an IED. The two were embedded with the 4th Infantry Division in Iraq. Reports indicate both are undergoing surgery at this time. There have been no further updates as of this writing.

One thing the news is not reporting is the number of casualties suffered by the military. It is possible that the news people were the only two injured but it would be nice if the news told us that. The sole focus is on the fate of the two news people. While our prayers are with Woodruff and his cameraman, it would seem that reporting on all the injured (or lack thereof) would be a responsible thing to do.
