We Went Too Far

OK, I will admit it. Adam and his buddies on the left were absolutely correct. We went too far in the interrogation of prisoners. I am not upset that we deprived them of sleep, used their fears against them, or had women interrogate them. It does not even bother me that we shaved their hair, helps prevent lice. But we really went too far.

Dripping Water or Playing Christina Aguilera Music: After the new measures are approved, the mood in al-Qahtani’s interrogation booth changes dramatically. The interrogation sessions lengthen. The quizzing now starts at midnight, and when Detainee 063 dozes off, interrogators rouse him by dripping water on his head or playing Christina Aguilera music.

I can not think of anything that I would consider torture more than having to listen to her music. This dude must be one tough guy because he did not break down and confess to everything from killing Kennedy to nailing Jesus to the Cross. I am sure he would have been justified just to get them to stop playing that damned music.

Story.
