We Crazy Wingers

Surfside and I have been looking at the UN and the Oil-For-Food scam as well as the sexcapades for some time now. We have been called wingers, crazy, and some other names that your mom washed your mouth out for saying. We quite often hear about how great the UN is and that they just have a few problems that they have been aggressively pursuing. We are often told that our points of view amount to nothing more than republican lies.

Surfside reported earlier about an article from National Review Online. She pointed out that the traitor Scott Ritter was in Hussein’s pockets up to his formerly leather neck. The interesting thing is that the article which details investigations into the scam shows that Hussein dealt with terrorists. He had them involved which provided those organizations with money. We have been told that there was no justification for going to war with Iraq. I have pointed out on a number of occasions that the President said you are either with us or you are with the terrorists. The left can not get it through their heads that Hussein was in bed with bin Laden and had met with him on several occasions. Perhaps they will see that Hussein was financing terrorists and that fits in line with we will make no distinction between the terrorists and those who harbor them.

John Kerry was fond of telling us that he would have gone to the UN. We should have gone to them and involved the world. Forget the fact that we tried to get the UN to cooperate. At face value it would seem that they might have helped us. That is what they are there for. But they did not. They did not help because they were right there with Ritter getting the hand-outs. The program was renewed about every six months at the urging of Secretary-General Kofi Annan to the Security Council. The UN had this program in place where they were paid millions no make that 1.4 BILLION dollars for oversight. They then sat back and allowed the Hussein regime to pay off many people, especially those who had a vote at the UN. Perhaps the reason the UN and some of the permanent member countries were opposed to action was because Hussein was lining their pockets.

Yes, Surfside and I have been calling this one for quite some time (not bad for wingers) and we took the abuse that came with it. The left will find a way to rationalize this report while holding the Dulfer report as gospel. Though the Dulfer report actually supports the President in many ways you would not know it by the way it was picked through to give a bad review but that is another story for another time.

We went to war despite a UN that was allowing Hussein to pay off terrorists and heads of countries. We took matters into our own hands because no one at the UN had enough testicular fortitude to do the right thing. They were all too soft on each other. Is there any doubt as to why we need John Bolton as a UN ambassador?
