Watch The Senate For Sneaky Business

The Senate has voted to stop its automatic pay raise from taking effect. This was a mostly symbolic move and I believe that we need to keep a close eye on them.

In the past when the Senate has decided to stop a pay raise they have tacked the raise onto some bill and sneaked it through that way. We need to keep an eye on them to ensure they do not back door this pay raise.

Senators make $162,100 a year. We need to make sure that is their annual salary at the end of next year.

Of course, considering the time off they get and the job they are doing, we should be asking for some of the money back.
