Utter Insanity

For those who still believe we have a government that operates in the real world, keep dreaming. No, in America today, we have a government that completely lives in denial of the economic reality that exists today. We would all be a lot better off now if the government would just go ahead and collapse under its own weight and disappear.

You see, if the government were to actually realize we’re completely and totally out of money, they wouldn’t be spending $53 billion on the latest technology from the 1800s. If the government even remotely lived in today, they’d realize that we don’t have $53 billion to spend, period, and even if we did, they’d spend it on modern devices and inventions, not something that was state of the art in 1881.

But hey, maybe so many government employees don’t notice the real world because they’re busy vacationing in Vegas on the taxpayer’s dime.

Never fear, while we’re all fighting hard to find money to make payments to buy food and keep our jobs, Obama will “find” money to pay for such silliness by simply raising taxes on us, so we can try and figure out how to buy expensive food with even less money. After all, it’s important that we all work harder (those of us who actually work, not government employees) so that government and government employees can ride expensive trains for free and take free trips to Vegas.

Please, government, collapse before you kill us all.

But, but, but, it is about seizing the future…

Seems to me the gubmint has a train that is losing money. It is called Amtrak

  2. Mr. Ogre says:

That train has been losing money since it was created.

  3. Eoj Trahneir says:

Actually loses started when the trains became a money source target for government bureaucrats. Read “Atlas Shrugged,” Mr. Tagart.

  4. Blake says:

You might think they would realize that these trains CANNOT use existing tracks- they are already in full use.
New tracks would have to be laid, resulting in the biggest land grab under “emminent domain” there ever was.
