Tyson Capitulates; Labor Day Off, Back On

Tyson foods has heard the voices of talk radio and has felt the fury of the countless emails that were sent and the phone calls placed. The union has worked out a deal where Labor Day and Eid will be celebrated this year and then in the future employees will have Labor Day off and receive a personal holiday that may be taken at the employee’s discretion.

This is a reasonable compromise and it allows all employees the day that celebrates workers and it gives a paid day for Muslims to take off for Eid or Jews for Passover or anyone for anything they desire. This was all we wanted, fairness.

Of course, this is not seen as fair to everyone as Ibrahim Hooper of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) said that the company backtracked and this is because of anti Muslim hate filled web sites (like mine, I guess). You see, Hooper does not care about fairness and he does not care if every holiday in America goes away so long as Muslims get what they want. Hooper is a terrorist sympathizer who has been associated with known terrorists and he cares not one bit about America. Ibrahim Hooper is an enemy of this country, the enemy within. He is hell bent on Islam taking over America. Hooper wants the American government to be Islamic and the Koran to be the law of the land. This is why he is upset with Tyson. He does not want fair, he wants Islam to rule.

Regardless, Tyson has taken a decision that is equitable to all concerned, Hooper’s protests not withstanding. The company was able to ensure all its workers were respected. This happened because we, along with many other patriots, made noise (excluding the dhimmis who called us racists). When all is said and done Tyson looked out for its bottom line. They knew that if millions of Americans decided not to buy their products, they would not have to worry about holidays because they would be out of business.

We won this round but we cannot let our guard down. We must continue to hold companies accountable and making sure they uphold American values and tradition. If Ibrahim Hooper does not like that he can pound his Koran where the sun does not shine. It is only good for toilet paper anyway.

Good work gang. I am avoiding Tyson because of their practice of hiring illegals. You all do what your conscience tells you to.

“It is only good for toilet paper anyway”.

Eeesh. Just when I thought you’d posted a very good piece which was right on the money, you had to inject a little racism into it. You just can’t resist the hatred can you Dog?

  2. Big Dog says:

I already told you that Islam is a cult (that pretends to be a religion) and is not a race. However, like Pavlov’s dog you are conditioned to respond to any attack with the words racism. Why don’t you ever call people like Hooper a racist?

Oh, that Pavlovian conditioning only applies to calling Republicans racists.

You tout yourself as so educated and so above everyone else and yet you lack the ability to know what racism is.

I don’t care what Hooper wants. I might give a care about the Koran when the Bible is allowed in their countries. I am tired of this country catering to Islam while attacking other religions.

  3. Bunny Colvin says:

Hooper is a racist. Just like you. There are racists in the Democratic party, but the vast majority of them in the U.S. are (r)epukes.

Islam is just as much of a cult as Christianity, Hinduism, or Judaism. If one’s a cult, they’re all cults.

What “other religions” does this country “attack”? I’m curious.

  4. Big Dog says:

Sorry Bunny, you are wrong again. You cannot be a racist if your dislike is for a group whose membership is NOT based on race. Hooper is not a racist in this regard either.

It is untrue that the vast majority are Republicans. The Republican party has always been stronger on race relations than the Dems. More Rebubs voted for civil rights, civil rights was introduced by a Republican president and our party was formed to end slavery.

The difference is, the Dems say all the racist stuff in the world but since they keep saying they are the party of diversity no one holds them accountable.

No, I cannot be a racist for opposing Islam. You are wrong, as usual.

  5. Bunny Colvin says:

“The Republican party has always been stronger on race relations than the Dems.”

That’s a good one. I wonder how many African Americans would agree with this statement. Not many, I would guess. I thought civil rights was (were) introduced by LBJ. Wasn’t he a Democrat?

  6. Big Dog says:

Very few would because the Democrats have succeeded in raising several generations of them who are dependent on government, that was LBJ’s legacy. Create a group of people dependent on government and we will have voters for generations.
Kennedy actually introduced the act of 1964 (of course he introduced it in 1963 and Johnson took it over). LBJ was AGAINST all civil rights when he was in the Senate. Eisenhower introduced the 1960 act and signed it into law.

The 64 act was voted for by >80% of Republicans and only 60% of Democrats. The Democrats filibustered the bill for 54 days.

How is that again? Asking blacks is not helpful. Their view is biased and they have been led astray since the 60s.

  7. Bunny Colvin says:

Oh I got it now. You can’t ask blacks about their views on race relations because their views are biased and they’re all dependant on the gubment. Makes sense to me now. You’re not racist.

Using that logic, I guess the views of soldiers regarding military matters are irrelevant as they are all “biased” and they are “dependant” on the gubment to feed their families and pay their bills.

I’m learning, wise canine. Please teach me more.

  8. Rock says:

Rev. Wright: Liberal, Racist, and more then accepted by the NObama groupies and the left leaning loonies….

    Business as usual, right ?

  9. Bunny Colvin says:

I have no love for Rev Wrong. So he would be “less than accepted” by this left leaning loonie.

Put down the crack pipe, I beg you.

  10. Otto VonAuchvetter says:

I along with hundreds of thousands of othees made our protest. However, until they change management, our family will still ban Tyson foods.

  11. hdrko5 says:

Bunny droppings the soldiers at least work for the money they get. They are dependent on each other.

  12. Big Dog says:

You said they were dependent on government, I said they have been led astray. Seems you have the preconceived notions about them which makes you a racist.

The opinions of soldiers only matter to the left when the opinions are what the left wants to hear. They do not depend on the government to feed their families, they work (and harder than you ever will) for their money. You depend n them so that you can earn a living.

  13. Bunny Colvin says:

Where did I ever say that soldiers don’t “work for their money”? I was using YOUR logic (which I CLEARLY referenced) that you taught me with the “blacks” analogy, Dog.

I recently lost someone dear to me who served this country in WWII, and you can be assured he was thanked by me for his service many times over the years. I respect the military and recognize that we wouldn’t even be having this convo if it not for the brave service of all who have worm the uniform. Ask Dunk over at w(r)onglyso, he’ll tell you.

Don’t you dare try to tell me I don’t respect our military. Many friends and family serve or have served, and they are well aware of my appreciation for their doing so.

  14. Bunny Colvin says:

…and before any of you dolts can make a comment, it’s “worn” the uniform.

  15. Big Dog says:

The fact is, you did not even get close to using my logic. I never said anything about the blacks being dependent on government, you did. Then you equated the military to the racist statement you had just made.

The military can tell us how they feel (within OPSEC) and they have a great grasp on what is going on. The black community has been told about Republican racists for so long that they believe everything about the GOP is racist despite the fact that the GOP has a much better record than the Democrats on race relations and civil rights. Blacks vote 90% for the Democrats so why would I give validation to their opinion when it has been told to them for decades?

You don’t respect the military. You pay them lip service. It is one thing to say you support them and it is quite another to act like it. Besides, everyone knows that Liberals hate the military so anyone who is liberal is a hater. It is unfortunate but the facts are clear.

  16. Bunny Colvin says:

“You don’t respect the military. You pay them lip service. It is one thing to say you support them and it is quite another to act like it. Besides, everyone knows that Liberals hate the military so anyone who is liberal is a hater. It is unfortunate but the facts are clear.”

Ridiculousness. I know more than a few “liberals” whom respect the military. Lip service? Please dude, you know not of which you speak. Put down the bottle and ask your wife to pay you a little lip service. You need to calm down. You’re out of line, chickenhawk.

  17. Bunny Colvin says:

” the GOP has a much better record than the Democrats on race relations and civil rights.”

This claim is almost as absurd as your first. Record ending with the passage of the Civil Rights Act? What have the (r)epukes done for the black voter lately? Not a whole hell of a lot.

Keep on living in the past, old dog.

Ask black Americans who has a better record of “race relations”. Oh wait, don’t. Dog says they’re all “brainwashed”. Their opinions dont matter.

  18. Big Dog says:

First of all, I don’t drink. Second of all a man with 24 years of service cannot be a chickenhawk.

And last, it sucks to have people make claims about you based on their interpretation of a few words, does it not? You seem to have taken quite an exception to being told you and all liberals do not support the troops.

Explain to me how this is any different than you claiming all Republicans are racists and claiming I am a racist because I do not agree with you?

I’ll await your twisted answer for this knowing I baited you into this perfectly.

And yes, without the GOP there would be no civil rights act and we have a great record. It will not be seen that way because we oppose affirmative action which is a racist scam. You guys don’t think blacks can compete on a level field so you give them a break.

    Anyway, I await your response.

  19. Bunny Colvin says:

My bad, you’re obviously not a chickenhawk.

I don’t believe that there would be any other way for a black person to interpret your words. If you claim that an entire subset of voters are “brainwashed” into voting Democrat, you are in my mind questioning their intelligence. And I think that is racist. I’m certainly not the expert on race relations, so this is just an opinion.

You got me. Congrats. You baited me into that one and you get a W on the scorecard for this round. I apologize for calling you a chickenhawk. No American with 24 years served should ever be called that. (You might just say it’s “lip service” but I truly mean it).

So, if you’ll accept my apology, great. If you don’t, oh well. I’ll care less each post.

  20. Big Dog says:

Apology accepted. Don’t worry about it. I think it is important that we have an understanding about perceptions and how it is not good to make broad assumptions.

FWIW I think you respect the people who serve in the military. I also think that since I am only saying what a black man who happens to be conservative said about the blacks and how they have been led astray by the promises of the Democrats it cannot possibly be racism.

Unfortunately, the blacks have been sold a bill of goods.

  21. Reason says:

What have the Republicans done for black people since equal rights? No more than they have done for every other American. Bunny is a suffer of white guilt and therefore probably thinks we still owe every black reparations and special treatment.

There is a thing I found one day:

“A Republican and a Democrat were walking down the street when they came to a homeless person. The Republican gave the homeless person his
business card and told him to come to his factory to apply for a job. He then took twenty dollars out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.

The Democrat was very impressed, and when they came to another homeless person, he decided to help.

He walked over to the homeless person and gave him directions to the welfare office. He then reached into the Republican’s pocket and got out twenty dollars. He kept 15 for administrative fees and gave the homeless person five.

Now you understand the difference between Republicans and Democrats.”

You could substitute “black” for “homeless” and you pretty much have the truth of what has transpired. Answer this one Bunny, why is it that most Dems treat Conservative/Republican blacks (and other minorities for that matter) like escapees from the plantation?
