Obama and his campaign does brother up. Though their attacks are not physical in nature.

Obama attended school on affirmative action programs. He skated through the primary because the media did not want to say anything that might be viewed as racist, he screams racism every time someone farts and if he were not black he would not have won. A white man with his very sparse experience and shady past would have been trounced by Clinton. Saying that affirmative action is involved is not racist. It is a matter of preferential treatment for a person who is not white. Obama has certainly received that. Look at the difference between how his vast drug use has been ignored and how everyone goes after Bush for a drug past that is speculative because he never admitted it.

Magic Negro as a racist term? Spike Lee used it (though you are right he is a racist). It has been used throughout history to indicate a black man who is often mystical and saves hapless white people.

A ghetto is described as a “portion of a city in which members of a minority group live especially because of social, legal, or economic pressure.” (Webster)

Obama was a rabble rouser community organizer in an area that was inhabited by poor blacks who had poor social conditions so they were in ghettos. Obama lived among them or dwelled there and that makes him a ghetto dweller.

I do not act dumb when it comes to this point. The FACT is all of these words have meaning that are not racist and are used by the black community. It is how people interpret them or what meaning they put to them that allows them to think of racism.

If a black guy says it then I can say it and it is either racist in both cases or not in both cases.

People who assign racism to everything are real racists. I retired from the first segregated institution in this country which happened long before Republicans liberated black people from the Democrats who forced them to be second class citizens.

Barney Frank audited Fannie and Freddie and said they were denying too many loans to minorities and he made that assessment based solely on the race of applicants who were denied. He never checked income, credit worthiness or anything else, just race. Then came the rules and threats.

Are minorities to blame, no. The social policies that said we had to give loans to people who could not afford them (mostly people of color) and of course illegals led to this disaster. Banks were forced to make loans they would never make otherwise.

Then, Democrats who enforced this denied there were problems until the roof was falling in.

Obama was collecting huge amounts of money from the companies while we were going under.

That is what happened.

You see, if I hear a black guy say it in a rap song or on the street then it is not racist for me to say.

I don’t think I blamed you unless you bought a house you could not afford and then asked for a taxpayer handout.

So is it just me or am I being blamed for the bailout? Reason was all of the sudden asking me to explain it and now you mention it, maybe I’m just confused…

Kind of like buying a house you can’t afford and then asking the taxpayer to pay for it.

I’m going to try watching the debate but I may fall asleep unless either candidate says anything of real value or meaning to the country…

If you take a drink every time Obama says change you’ll be drunk before the first half hour. I wonder how many times McCain will say he was a foot soldier in Reagan’s Army…

I don’t drink so I have to suffer through it without the benefit of altered reality.
