Last go around, Clark crowed endlessly about Kerry’s service, and how horrible it was that anyone would doubt Kerry’s integrity. He held Kerry up as a hero and ABSOLUTELY advertised his service as a reason why Kerry was fit to be commander in chief. Now he flip flops right on his face - as he usually does. Conservatives flip flop from time to time, but they don’t throw any vet under the bus unless that vet is out there denigrating our troops - like Kerry did. They are two peas in a pod. Clark is a disgrace to the uniform and it’s a tragedy our soldiers and vets had to listen to him denigrate their service in such a way. He had NO reason to even bring the issue up other than to attack something honorable about another man. What a truly stupid man he is. I've been out of the military for about eight years and have met plenty of good people - but the quality of those that serve can not be matched. I truly mean that. The man that sticks out in my mind at the top of this long list is General Benjamin R. Mixon, now the Commanding General of the US Army-Pacific. I served with this man when he was a brigade commander and he is an outstanding human being, soldier and leader. The reason why I mention Gen Mixon is because he is a fellow General to Wesley Clark. Although, the difference is that I can attest to the fact that Gen Mixon is a man of the deepest integrity and would NEVER stoop to diminishing another service member’s record for any sort of personal or political gain. To achieve the epitome of military service - the rank of General - and then act as Mr. Wesley Clark has done is simply disgusting. Personally, I am sickened by Mr. Clark's intentions and I think he is a disgrace to not only the US military, but more importantly to all other flag officers that he (unfortunately) represents.
