My Uncle Kerry was in New York that day on business, and never came home. Then last year my Uncle Doug died. So not only am I heartbroken over the loss of my Uncles, who were more like older brothers than anything else, I am also heartbroken about the loss of everyone else that died that day. I'm sure that I'll see them again someday though, and that keeps me sort of smiling. I got my weekly letter from my penpal in Afghanistan today though, so that was a good thing, he keeps trying to get to send him beer, lol. Other than that things are so so. I think sleep will be a good thing soon. I don't think so much when I'm sleeping. While I don't go to church, nor am I Christian, I do believe very much in God, and I think she's right, the military protects those of us who can't protect ourselves, and that's definitely a God thing. Perhaps it would be better if those wishing to change their status in the government would have to give up their current position to campaign and run for another position. Someone would actually be A Senator rather than trying to become President and being paid for being a Senator when you have been doing nothing but campaigning for two years of your tenure.
