Men In Barack III, Will Smith And Taxes
May 8, 2012 Political
Actor Will Smith (Fresh Prince, Men in Black) is a supporter of Barack Obama so much so that Smith believes in Obama’s call for higher taxes on the wealthy (where wealthy is redefined to get money from those of modest means). Smith, in fact, is “very supportive of that idea [raising taxes]“.
“I’m very supportive of that idea,” Smith told The Associated Press in an interview. “America has been fantastic to me. I have no problem paying whatever I need to pay to keep my country growing.” Comcast via the AP
Will Smith has not always felt that way because he, like many liberals, did not pay enough in taxes (he evidently had a problem paying what was needed to keep the country growing). When Smith started making a lot of money he underpaid his taxes. He ended up owing 2.8 MILLION dollars to the IRS and had most of his property confiscated and his wages garnished to pay his tax bill.
I guess when he was making all that money and spending it like there was no tomorrow he was not concerned or “supportive” of taxes. He was nearly bankrupt when the IRS got done with him, or as he said, they took all my stuff.
Smith is now supportive of higher taxes because he will, no doubt, find ways to exempt some of his income by giving it to the Church of Scientology. Smith could pay more if he was truly supportive.
Hey Will, the Treasury will accept money from folks to pay off the debt. Here is a link to the Treasury website where you can read about the program and then make a donation of as much money as you wish. You can even give them the entire 20 million dollars you will make for MIB III, if you are really supportive.
I am willing to bet that Smith will not be writing a check to the Treasury to help with the debt. He is supportive because this is an election year and he wants to help Obama. He was not supportive when he failed to pay his taxes and he will not be supportive by donating to the Treasury.
Will, I am supportive of cutting spending. I am supportive of getting government out of things it has no business in. I am supportive of limited government and people being able to keep the fruits of their labor.
You obviously believe that for yourself despite your support for higher taxes.
Who knows? Maybe Smith used a flashy thing to erase his memory…
Lord knows Obama would like to have one of those to use on the public before election day.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Whose Money Is Being Lost?
Nov 16, 2011 Political
The US Government used bailout money to help General Motors and other auto companies. The stated goal was to rescue companies that are too big to fail but the reality is that the government used the money to pay off union backers while screwing over investors. We were told that a profit would be turned and that we should not worry because they are the government and they are there to help.
Looks like the estimate of making money is turning out to be a lie told to us by politicians hell bent on robbing us blind. It is not a lie to those of us who said it would not happen and to those of us who realized the lies the auto companies told when they said they paid back the money. They took stimulus money to pay back the loans…
The estimated losses in the auto bailout have risen to 23.6 BILLION dollars, 9 BILLION more than the last estimate because GM stock is not doing well.
The government has expressed its position in this way:
In its monthly report to Congress, the Treasury Department now says it expects to lose $23.6 billion, up from its previous estimate of $14.33 billion. Detroit News
Herein lies the problem. The Treasury is not going to lose any money. Let me express the sentence so it has the truth; In its monthly report to Congress, the Treasury Department now says it expects TAXPAYERS to lose $23.6 billion, up from its previous estimate of $14.33 billion.
Government seems to forget whose money this is. The money that was spent to bailout the unions and the union workers came from taxpayers. All money that government spends comes from some other entity (most of it through taxes) which means the Treasury (as is true with all government agencies) cannot lose money. All it can do is lose money that belongs to the taxpayer.
I did not agree with the Wall Street bailouts but at least those folks paid the money back (some after being FORCED to take the money in the first place). If those Occupy morons want to protest they should be marching at GM and at the union shops.
Of course they should also be protesting in DC.
We have to call these people on this kind of stuff. This has been going on for far too long in that the government acts as if it spends and loses its own money when it is in fact spending, wasting, and losing OUR money.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Any Proof Feinberg Returned The Checks?
Sep 12, 2010 Political
When Barack Obama anointed Kenneth Feinberg as the pay czar we were told that he was doing the work for free (or pro bono as they say). Yes, the guy in charge of determining pay for some private sector companies was to receive no compensation.
The only problem with that is he has a salary of over $120,000.
Contrary to press reports that he would not be compensated, uncovered Treasury Department documents reveal President Obama’s pay czar, Kenneth Feinberg, received a $120,830 annual salary.
The documents were obtained by the public interest group Judicial Watch in a Freedom of Information Act request filed July 20.
~snip~
But Judicial Watch said it obtained the Treasury Department’s June 8, 2009, welcome letter to Feinberg congratulating him for being selected “special master of executive compensation” and listing his annual salary at $120,830.
Also, the U.S. Office of Personnel Management issued a “Notification of Personnel Action” dated June 8, 2009, that established Feinberg’s salary level at $120,830. WND
After this was discovered Feinberg said that he did indeed receive a check every two weeks and that he endorsed the checks and returned them to the Treasury. And he claims he has to pay taxes on the income that he did not keep.
Is there any proof of this? I find it hard to believe that Feinberg got a check every two weeks that he signed and sent back to the Treasury because federal employees are required to have check to bank also known as automatic deposit. Unless things have changed he could not have gotten a physical check.
Therefore, he could not signed or returned one.
This is what happens when czars are appointed by Obama and skip the Senate confirmation process. We do not have full disclosure and the regime can lie about what it is doing.
So much for transparency.
Cave Canem!

How Much More Should The Rich Pay
May 29, 2010 Political
Joe Biden said that people who did not pay their fair share were unpatriotic. He told us it was time for everyone to pay their fair share. What he meant to say was that the wealthy, the ones who pay most of the federal taxes in this country, had to pay more while 47% of wage earners paid no federal taxes. I want to ensure that I point out that it is federal taxes because even though we discuss federal officials and their desire for more taxes to the federal government there are still people who are a little slow and will tell me that all wage earners pay Social Security or some moronic thing.
Anyway, Hillary Clinton is on the bandwagon again and she said the rich do not pay enough taxes. There are quite a few wealthy liberals who agree with her but strangely enough, none of them write checks to the government for the increase they think they should pay.
Make no mistake about this. Any citizen can write a check for any amount (that he can afford) to the Treasury in order to pay off the debt. If liberals think they should pay more in taxes then they can write a check to pay more. None of them do. You know that none of them do because if they did they would brag about it and it would run nonstop on the state run media. None of them have sent extra money and they all look for ways to reduce their tax burdens.
They want the rich to pay more but only the other rich people.
Clinton is a liberal moron (though she would have been better than Obama) and this is the creed that liberal morons live by. Tax the rich because even though they pay most of the federal taxes in this country they do not pay enough to satisfy the overlords in DC.
If you are a rich person and you agree with Clinton then take out your checkbook and write a hefty check to the Treasury. If you are a rich person who agrees with her and you do not do this then you are a hypocrite and need to stop calling for higher taxes because you really don’t want them.
If you are rich and don’t agree with Clinton then stop donating your money to any of the morons in DC. Especially ignore the requests of the liberals who want to raise your taxes.
It is time to stop feeding the beast.
And it is time for Hillary to write a big check to the Treasury.
As an aside, has she paid off her campaign debt yet? She is begging for others to pay her debt and she has over 100 million dollars in the bank. Isn’t amazing how she always wants to use someone else’s money?
Of course, her hubby made a deal with Obama to help with the cover-up of the Sestak bribe so maybe her debt will magically disappear.
Bill did not get involved for free…
Never surrender, never submit.

Treasury Selection Fails To Pay Taxes
Jan 14, 2009 Political
The man Barack Obama selected to head Treasury failed to pay about $34,000 in taxes. Timothy Geithner was selected to run the Treasury and he is unable to do what he will expect the rest of us to do. I guess he got his training from Charlie Rangel.
What is it about Democrats that makes them want to tax the hell out of us but not to want to pay their own taxes?
Barack Obama must be slightly embarrassed by this little event given his multi-page vetting form that should have picked this up right away. But incoming White House spokesman Robert Gibbs explained it all away:
“He’s dedicated his career to our country and served with honor, intelligence and distinction,” incoming White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said. “That service should not be tarnished by honest mistakes, which, upon learning of them, he quickly addressed.” My Way News
You see, this is a lie. He paid the taxes a few days before his nomination was announced but that was not “upon learning of them” as indicated. Geithner was informed by the IRS that he owed money in 2006 which was two years ago. Additionally, he failed to pay his taxes on more than one occasion. The truth is that he went for years owing taxes to the government.
If he has such blatant disregard for the law as a citizen how will he act when he is in charge of Treasury?
Geithner also employed an illegal, or as the spokesman calls her, a person without documents.
Geithner also didn’t realize a housekeeper he paid in 2004 and 2005 did not have current employment documentation as an immigrant for the final three months she worked for him, the transition official said.
Boy, the Obama team really missed two big issues with this guy. I hope they pay a bit more attention when they are running the country.
