Does Obama Have Two Dogs?
Dec 22, 2011 Political
A big deal was made yesterday because Barack Obama went to the store to shop for his dog and his kids. He went to Pet Smart and bought his dog, which was with him, an expensive chew toy and then headed to Best Buy to get his daughters a few presents.
I will stop here and say that the reporter who wrote about the trip was irresponsible when he reported what presents Obama bought for his kids. No matter how one feels about the man it is just wrong to report what presents he got for his kids because they might see the report and it will ruin it for him.
But the issue that is in the news today is how did his dog Bo get to DC for the shopping trip? It was reported that Bo traveled to Hawaii with Michelle and the kids and folks on the ground in Hawaii report seeing the dog there.
Did Obama have his dog flown back to DC for a photo-op to show he is a regular guy like the rest of us or does he own two dogs?
Since we have never seen two dogs the answer must be that the dog was flown back. That, of course, assumes that the reports of the dog being in Hawaii are correct.
If the dog was flown back, how much did it cost?
This is something that needs to be explained.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

The “I Know Nothing” Regime
Sep 20, 2011 Political
The Obama Regime has a bunch of know nothings in it. I don’t mean they are not educated or that they are not smart people (just not as smart as they or their worshippers think), I mean they conveniently know nothing when scandal hits. Since scandal, wrongdoing and corruption hits each and every day, there are a lot of people who suddenly “know nothing.”
The Chicago Tribune has an article about the growing green energy scandal where Obama and his regime doled out a half a billion dollars to Solyndra as a good investment in green energy (a loan the Bush administration decided against because it was too risky) only to watch as the company went bankrupt and billions in taxpayer dollars were whizzed down the drain. The Trib calls this nothing more than the Chicago Way, something they are used to in Obama’s stomping grounds.
The cover up begins as Obama and those in his regime try to counter claims of political favor for people who contributed to little Barry. There will be investigations as communications are uncovered daily. These show that Obama and his people worked to streamline the process while ignoring all the warnings. The major concern was not over whether taxpayer dollars would be wasted (they were) but that it would hit during the 2012 campaign and damage Obama.
Rahm Emanuel, former Obama chief of staff and part of the Chicago political machine, says he does not remember anything about Solyndra. Yep, twinkle toes Emanuel is claiming that he can’t remember anything about the shady deal involving the company that went belly up costing taxpayers half a billion dollars.
The guy who remembers all political infractions and wages war against opponents based on his long memory now can’t recall a single thing about Solyndra. Funny, there are emails from his assistants regarding the issue. How is it that Rahm can’t remember?
Please liberals don’t tell me that the assistants did this without his knowledge. If that is the case he should have never been in a leadership position and he should not be the mayor of Chicago.
This is nothing more than Emanuel distancing himself from a scandal he was involved in. He did that with the Blagojevich pay to play scandal that involved Obama’s vacated US Senate seat. Emanuel was involved in that just as he is involved in the Solyndra scandal but he claims he can’t remember anything.
That is the typical Chicago political response:
“I know nothing!” SGT Schultz would be proud.
Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Did Barney Frank Allocate This Money?
Jun 29, 2010 Political
The federal government has spent $1.44 million of taxpayer money to study, among other things, male prostitutes in South East Asia.
The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), a component of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), has so far awarded $1.44 million in federal funds to a project that, among other things, is estimating the size of the population and examining the “social milieu” of male prostitutes in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. CNS News
The study will look at HIV rate in men who have sex with men.
Who cares about their male prostitutes (or any of their prostitutes) and who cares about their HIV rate? That is not our concern and is for their government to look at. One thing is for sure is that taxpayer money should not be spent for this folly.
Did Barney Frank allocate the money for this?
If anyone knows about male prostitutes, he would be the guy…
Never surrender, never submit.

President Bush’s Mugshot in NYC Library
Nov 30, 2007 Political
A NYC Public Library has mugshots on display as part of its “art” exhibits. These mugshots are phony pictures of President Bush and members (past and present) of his administration. The doctored photos are the work of two “artists” who obviously have a political axe to grind. I have no problem with people making this kind of stuff but I am a bit disturbed that it is on display in a taxpayer funded building.
I wonder if this library would put up pictures of Bill and Hillary Clinton in unfavorable displays, especially ones doctored by “artists”. I also wonder if an artist created a picture of Moses receiving the Ten Commandments or of Jesus in a manger would they be displayed and if they were would the ACLU demand they be removed?
This kind of “art” does not belong in a public library, it belongs in an art gallery. There appear to be no signs to indicate that they are fake, though most thinking people would have to know they are. However, there are children who use the library and these displays create a false image of our political leaders.
Libraries don’t like the idea that the feds can access computer logs to see what users have been doing and one library interfered when a credible threat was revealed but they don’t mind taking taxpayer money to stay open. Seems to me they could be a little more selective in what they display.

So Much for Democratic Fiscal Responsibility
Nov 15, 2007 Political
Citizens Against Government Waste is putting the finishing touches on its pork report for the year and what they will report is not pretty. There were 8000 earmarks totaling 20 billion dollars. That is 20 billion dollars in taxpayer money that was flushed down the drain by the Democratic Congress, the ones who promised to put an end to waste and be a more efficient government. The truth is they could not keep their money grubbing hands out of our pockets and they could not exercise any control. For those who say the government should tax the hell out of us to provide unconstitutional social programs, here is 20 billion dollars that could have provided services without raising taxes.
Of course, I do not believe in universal health care or other government run and government provided services but if I did I would be asking how we can afford this kind of waste and not the items that Democrats think are important. The Republican led Congress (and President Bush for that matter) was no better but they lost last year so this is on the new majority. The Democrats campaigned on their ability to fix these kinds of things and now it is glaringly obvious that they are unable. They lack control and they lack responsibility.
Democrats like to say we need to end the war because that is why they were elected. They campaigned on ending the war along with the promise to be responsible with our money so that means if ending the war was a mandate, so was being fiscally responsible. They have failed miserably on both counts.
I do not think the election was a mandate on the war but this is what they think. So they are not free to cherry pick what they were elected to do. They promised to be responsible with our money and they have not been. This is another reason we need the line item veto and it is a very good example of why we should never trust Democrats.
There should be no doubt that they are truly the tax and spend party.
