Too Little Too Late

A new poll by the Washington Post/ABC News shows that if the 2012 election were held today Mitt Romney would have an edge over Barack Obama 49-45. Perhaps this is because the lie Obama told to get reelected has now been revealed and millions of Americans are getting screwed because of it.
There were lots of lies by Obama in 2012 and we are seeing that many of the things Romney predicted, which were dismissed by Obama and his obedient media, have come true. Romney was right about foreign affairs and he was right about millions of people losing their health insurance. Obama dismissed all of this and he received cover from the media that was so eager to see him reelected.
This change of heart among voters is too little too late. They needed to be engaged before the last election and they needed to do their own research. They needed to cut through the bull and recognize that Obama was not being truthful.
Instead millions of voters were either eager to get their free health insurance (which is not so free) or were happy to keep what they had voted for Obama because he said things they liked and he was not some evil Republican.
Mitt Romney was not the most ideal candidate for the job but he was many times better than Obama. Mitt got things right while Obama lied to get reelected.
It is obvious that Obama knew he was lying but did it in order to continue his path of destruction in America.
There are a lot of liberals who voted for Obama who are now lying in that path of destruction. They have been used and are now discarded and suffering the consequence of Obama’s lies.
Democrats loved to tell us that Romney lived in the past and his ideas were decades old. While this characterization was off the mark one can only wonder how much better off we would be if we lived based on the lessons of the past.
One thing is certain; America’s future under Obama will not be so good.
But hey, at least they have their Obamaphones…

When Will The Left Ever Accept Responsibility?

Hostess, the maker of Twinkies, Ding Dongs, and Wonder Bread (among other things), has closed its doors and will lay off over 18,000 workers. About a third of the workforce is composed of union members and those thugs went on strike. Their refusal to work with the struggling company led to everyone, union and non-union alike, losing their jobs. Isn’t this wonderful? A month before Christmas and 18 thousand people are out of work all because union employees insisted that Hostess get blood out of a rock.
The company has had problems in the past and went through a bankruptcy some years ago. It hit financial troubles again and again filed for bankruptcy. The union was not too helpful with restructuring so that jobs and the company could be saved.
The union employees decided they would rather everyone lose their jobs and get the little money from unemployment than to accept lower wages and reduced benefits so that everyone could continue to get a paycheck. Now they get less money and have NO benefits. This is how unions work.
Richard Trumka (let’s call him Dick), head of the AFL-CIO blamed Mitt Romney in a backdoor way by claiming that the greedy company and its vulture capital methods caused the end of jobs. It is Dick’s assertion that the leaders of the company were so greedy and rolling in so much money that they wanted more at the expense of the workers.
Perhaps I am missing something but if the people running the company had so much money they would not have been in financial trouble, would not have had a previous bankruptcy, and would not be closing down.
The reality is that the only people to blame for the shut down is the union and its members. Perhaps they thought the leaders were bluffing. Perhaps they really believed there was more money. Perhaps they thought it would all work out.
Perhaps they did not care.
In any event, they are all now out of work and an American company that has been around for 82 years is out of business.
There is a possibility that some of the popular items will be bought up by other baking companies (permission to liquidate is needed from the bankruptcy court) and the beloved Twinkie will continue to broaden the waistlines of Americans (Dick Trumka looks like a regular Twinkie eater). If so I doubt the companies will be looking to hire any of the union members who caused this problem.
As for Dick blaming this on vulture capitalists perhaps he should learn a thing or two. Hostess was saved from extinction in its past bankruptcy by these very kinds of people who ponied up money to help the company.
Instead of blaming people like Romney Dick should look at the real culprits, the union employees. If anything, Hostess needed a company like Bain to come in and infuse cash and then assist with getting things on better financial footing.
There will soon be a crisis as stoners in states that passed laws legalizing marijuana (and stoners everywhere for that matter) are left without Twinkies and Ding Dongs when they get the munchies.
While Twinkie Toes Dick Trumka is out running his mouth and blaming others (a common thing among the left) more than 18,000 people will join the largest growing segment of the population in the Obama era.
The unemployed.

More Bad News To Come

The bad news this week was that Obama was “reelected” by a majority of the morons in this country. The corruption ran deep from illegal votes to deliberately keeping the military from having their votes counted, if they even got to vote. It sucks but it is what it is and we are stuck with Obama for the next four years.
Yes, that is bad news but there is more bad news on the horizon. A lot of companies have begun laying off employees and many cite the reelection of Obama and his signature “achievement” Obamacare. Coal workers, hospitality workers, defense contractors, and other larger companies are telling workers they no longer have jobs. Michelle Malkin calls it the layoff bomb and yes, that bomb has exploded.
We know that Obama and his minions forced companies affected by the budget mess that will occur in January to keep from sending out layoff notices in direct violation of the law so it would help him politically. I wonder how many of those folks who voted for Obama will end up in the welfare line?
Business owners were waiting until the outcome of the election before taking decisions on their future. If Mitt Romney had won they would start hiring and would work to build their businesses which would have helped to strengthen the economy.
But they got Obama instead and now they are taking tough decisions to keep from being hurt by Obama and Obamacare. The manipulated unemployment numbers from last month will receive a correction this month and Obama will again have higher unemployment. It is part of his plan to force the masses into his Socialist dream.
You folks who voted for him and have no job, tough. You deserve to be on the side of the road with a sign begging for food.
Those who did not vote for him and are hurt by this I am sorry for you but you know how to survive. look for conservative business owners and talk to them.
If you are a conservative business owner, consider firing your employees who voted for Obama and hiring people who did not.

Obama Endorses Romney For President

Hurricane Sandy struck the East Coast of the United States with fury and the states of New York and New Jersey took devastating blows. Hundreds of houses burned to the ground in Jersey and New York’s lower Manhattan is in the dark and under lots of water.
Barack Obama toured New Jersey with Governor Chris Christie and Obama vowed that the federal government would be there to help. In fact, Obama instituted a 15 minute rule where anyone who calls will get a return call in 15 minutes. He also said that he would not stand for delays caused by red tape:
Obama said he issued a “15 minute rule,” explaining he issued an order to his administration to respond to requests from local government officials in 15 minutes or less.
“We are not going to tolerate red tape,” Obama said. “We are not going to tolerate bureaucracy.” Politicker NJ
What Obama is admitting here is that the government, on any given day, is an obstruction to the states and by extension, the people. By telling us that he will not tolerate red tape and bureaucracy he is admitting that this is the norm from our government. He unwittingly has given an endorsement to Mitt Romney who has called for smaller, more efficient government.
When Romney calls for that Obama says he wants to take us back to the policies that got us into this mess which is a lie. The things that got us into this mess involved politicians from both parties spending too much and making rules that allowed people to borrow money they could not afford to pay back. The problems we have are the result of decades of more and more government involvement in our lives. Romney promises to have a smaller more efficient government while Obama espouses polices that will grow government (which he has grown a lot in four years).
There is a crisis on the East Coast and Obama is now touting what Romney says he will bring. Obama says he does not want the usual government way of operating to get in the way of the recovery. Romney says he wants those policies to be the way government does business every day.
Obama has endorsed Romney for president.
At least one agency within the federal government has admitted that its policies are a hindrance to business in America. The EPA will suspend gasoline blend requirements so that states affected by Sandy can get gasoline in a timely manner. By admitting that its rules are a burden the EPA has told us that it is a hindrance in our lives and it has admitted that Romney should be in charge of the country because his policies involve smaller government that is less intrusive in our lives.
Barack Obama and the EPA have endorsed Mitt Romney for president.
And I approve this message….

Obama Did Not Do Enough In The Last Debate

The final presidential debate was on foreign affairs and it was a snoozer when compared to the first two. Those two featured both candidates going after each other. The final debate showed Barack Obama channeling Joe Biden in petulant behavior.
Obama attacked Romney and was condescending toward him. One would not know that Obama was speaking to an accomplished businessman some 15 years his senior. It appeared to me as if Obama felt he was speaking to someone beneath him.
Mitt Romney was low keyed and agreed a number of times with Obama but he acted more presidential. I think this was his strategy for the debate. Romney knew Obama would try to paint him as a war monger who was stuck in the Cold War era. Romney would have none of it and stayed above the fray.
Obama won the debate on points but lost it on style and that is what mattered in this debate. With a terrible economy the people of this country are more concerned with that rather than foreign policy. It helped Romney greatly that he was able to bring our national security back to the economy. Obama cannot counter attacks on the economy because he has done nothing to make it better. It does not help Obama when he continues to scream that the math in Romney’s plan does not add up and that it will not lower the deficit. Obama wants us to believe that he is the one who can lower the deficit despite the fact that he has added to it in each of his four years to the tune on nearly 5 TRILLION dollars. Obama is hollow on this issue.
Obama is falling in the polls and there is a risk to his campaign that one state after another will fall into Romney’s column and this includes states that are traditionally blue. Mitt Romney is beginning to pull even or ahead in states that Obama felt little need to defend so much so that he has had to pull out of those he thought he could win in order to defend those he should easily win.
During the last debate Barack Obama needed to score a big win. He needed a knockout punch in order to stem the tide of states moving toward Romney. Obama did not get that knock out punch. He might have won the battle but the win was marginal and therefore he might end up losing the war.
As an aside, the fact checkers found about 15 items that Obama was not truthful about. It is unlikely he made mistakes or misspoke so I can only conclude that he deliberately lied to the American people.
On 6 November we can end this nightmare that is Obama and put adults back in charge of our nation.
After watching Joe Biden and Barack Obama it will be a breath of fresh air to see adults in charge once again.
One last thing. Obama spoke as if he cares about our military. If he cares so much why are he and his Democrats across the nation working had to deny the vote to our service members? If you were going to sit this one out please go to the polls and vote for the military members who are being denied the very thing they fight to protect. Vote Romney for their sake.
Let’s do it for the troops.
