Obama And Congress Shred The Bill Of Rights

The United States Congress and Barack Obama have codified what the Nazis did in World War II. They have taken the reprehensible act of rounding up free citizens and locking them away without the benefit of a trial and sanctioned it by passing a law that says it is OK.

The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for this year took the drastic steps of basically designating the US a battlefield and then allowing people (citizens and non citizens alike) to be taken into custody by the military, detained who knows where and kept as long as the government deems necessary.

Make no mistake, the provisions apply to US citizens the caveat is that the military is not required to take citizens into custody. They have permission to but are not required to. There is no absolutely clear language that forbids US citizens from being apprehended and held without trial and in violation of the rights enumerated in our Constitution. Senator Dianne Feinstein, a Democrat from California, introduced an amendment that would clearly forbid US citizens from being affected by this. It was soundly defeated so you know it applies to citizens.

This was passed by Republicans and Democrats alike and signed into law by Barack Obama. History will show that he was the one who signed a bill into law that shredded the Bill of Rights and turned America into the kind of country that led to the atrocities of Nazi German.

This is no right vs left issue. This issue involves all Americans and the attack on us is coming from both sides of the aisle. Republicans and Democrats worked together to do this to us and it matters little that the man who signed it into law is a Democrat. It would have been just as egregious if it had been done by George Bush (though I can’t help but wonder how many Democrats who remain silent would be screaming bloody murder had it been he) or any other Republican. This is an assault waged by the entire government on the citizens of the country.

The issue has hit a hot button among people from all political beliefs. Salon has an excellent article showing how this applies to US citizens and why it is bad. The ACLU is against this law (though I disagree with their position that it is illegal to hold anyone indefinitely regardless of their legal status) and US Representative Justin Amash has written in length about it. Natural News busts the myth about this not applying to citizens and the points made align with those of the other linked articles.

This Republic is in serious trouble and it is getting worse as those in office continue to clamp down on us and our freedom. We will not take this lying down but how many people will have to whisked away before the general population starts to pay attention? How long do we allow the people in office to have their way with us before we do something about it?

This coming November is a huge election and it is up to us to have a peaceful revolution at the ballot box. VOTE OUT EVERY PERSON WHO VOTED FOR THIS.

And that includes the man who signed it into law. Yes, I know he used a signing statement to express his concerns but signing statements are no more valid when he uses them than when Bush or anyone else used them. They do not bind anyone and have no weight should the issue be challenged. A president can do one of three things when presented with a bill. Using a signing statement is not one of the three. They do not bind future presidents and they do not bind the one who made the original statement. Obama could decide he would rather follow the law as written at any time and his signing statement would mean nothing. Like Executive Orders against abortion…

We have a chance to right the ship by getting rid of all these people and the first step is in the peaceful election process. Should that not work and should they start locking up Americans in violation of the Constitution, well it won’t be a good time in American history. Let’s just leave it at that.

Remember, the argument that if you did not do anything wrong you had nothing to worry about did not fly when the Patriot Act was being debated and it should not fly now.

A Vote Of No Confidence In Obama

The United States had its credit rating lowered because of the economic problem involving decades of overspending. The Obama regime has been a spending machine on steroids with a trillion dollar stimulus (cost of stimulus and the interest to pay for the money we borrowed) and the 2.5 TRILLION dollar Obamacare law (and billions in other hidden costs). Add this to the greater than a trillion dollar a year deficit spending and the country has been on deficit overdrive.

The credit rating was dropped on Friday after the market closed but the Israeli market and the Asian markets took hits when they opened on Sunday (our time). The US market followed suit dropping over 600 points on Monday.

Barack Obama went on the air to reassure the public and the market dropped 200 points while he was talking.

The market has no confidence in Obama and investors are selling off in order to hold cash. The crash of the US market is sending us into a second recession and Obama has no clue how to handle this.

So we have two options here. Either Obama is totally clueless and is in way over his head or he is doing this on purpose. Obama is an student of Alinsky and of the teachings of Cloward and Piven and their strategy to take down our system. I know what I think but I will leave it to the Obama toadies to decide if he is doing this on purpose or he is clueless and in over his head.

Here is a hint; I think it is a bit of both.

All is not lost for some folks. It looks like a friend of Obama and enemy of the US made a huge sum of money on the downgrade. I imagine there are a lot of Obama friends doing well with the inside information…

As this situation gets worse expect the Obama regime to do more of what has not worked thus far.

As Obama and the career politicians in DC blame this on the TEA Party and engage in the finger pointing games the country moves closer to worse times. Inflation, high interest rates, a down stock market, high food and gas prices and increased unemployment await us and these clowns are pointing fingers. The blame game is not the way to fix problems. Let the public put the blame, the politicians need to work on solutions.

Unfortunately, the career politicians are not interested in helping us. The two parties are busy sniping at each other but working hand in hand to stay in power and enrich their lives at our expense.

The TEA Party politicians are the only ones that made promises and kept them. They are the ones with plans to keep our house in order and get us back on sound financial footing. If we had adopted their plans we would not have been downgraded and would have some breathing room.

Instead, we followed the plans of people who are increasingly seen as not having the consent of the governed or as Pat Caddell calls it, pre-revolutionary.

It is going to be a bumpy ride for a while on the Obama roller coaster. After all, he promised us fundamental transformation.

He might get more than he bargained for.

Seizing Our Pensions Will Cause Civil Unrest

If you want to see all 435 members of the House and the 100 members of the Senate impaled on pike poles as their bodies slide down in agony until their torture ends in death ala Vlad The Impaler or if you want to see these same 535 members of Congress hanging from light posts around DC while birds peck at their lifeless bodies then let them go ahead with their plan to seize private pension plans to pay off the union and public pensions.

Yes, our government is considering confiscating the money we have in our 401(k) plans and the redistributing it in a more fair manner. On top of that they will impose a 5% payroll tax on everyone and that will go into the retirement fund to pay everyone a retirement. This would be on top of the Social Security we already pay for.

In a nutshell, under the GRA system government would seize private 401(k) accounts, setting up an additional 5% mandatory payroll tax to dole out a “fair” pension to everyone using that confiscated money coupled with the mandated contributions. This would, of course, be a sister government ponzi scheme working in tandem with Social Security, the primary purpose being to give big government politicians additional taxpayer funds to raid to pay for their out-of-control spending. If these people have a death wish for this country then they should press ahead with their plans to take money that we saved and decide who gets it and how much. Then they should press on and force higher income workers to pay much more into a system that will never pay back what they put in.

This will lead to massive civil unrest and there will be nothing standing between Congress and the people with the pitchforks.

If this happens and Americans do not end it quickly then we will deserve what we get.

The Congress needs to know we will not waste time with the courts and that we will not negotiate. If they steal OUR money, the money we have worked hard and saved FOR OUR OWN RETIREMENTS, then we need to replace them as our Founders did.

And if that is to harsh for them then they need to reconsider.

Because we are done playing games.

Reality To Joe Klein, Where Are You On This Sedition?

Joe Klein of Time was on the Chris Matthews Show recently and stated that Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin used words that were close to seditious.

“I did a little bit of research just before this show – it’s on this little napkin here. I looked up the definition of sedition which is conduct or language inciting rebellion against the authority of the state. And a lot of these statements, especially the ones coming from people like Glenn Beck and to a certain extent Sarah Palin, rub right up close to being seditious.” News Busters

Neither Klein nor any other liberal who writes definitions on cocktail napkins after downing their fifth martini can show in any way shape or form how either of these two (and for that matter, Rush Limbaugh who was later added) have used language that incites rebellion or where any of them have called for insurrection. Beck goes out of his way to discuss peaceful means to take back control of the country and neither Palin nor Limbaugh have called for any kind of rebellion against government.

However, Klein should take a look at this video of a UCLA professor who absolutely goes nuts about America. This nimrod discusses taking over America, moving us toward Socialism and extols the virtues of the great leader Fidel Castro. He also holds Hugo Chavez and Che Guevara, among others, in high regard.

This person is a member of La Raza and claims that the land he is standing on (I think in LA) is occupied Mexican territory. He discusses how he and others like him are revolutionaries and how they will take the place over.

This, Mr. Klein, is sedition. You might need more than five martinis to write it down on your napkin because it involves a person who you liberal morons perceive as part of the protected class here in America but make no mistake, this professor is an enemy of this country.

In fact, all of the people who believe as he does and who want to follow him in taking over America are our enemies.

This includes the racist organization La Raza. That organization and people like this professor should be charged with sedition. This guy and his followers are a danger to this country and should be sent back to where they came from. They should be stripped of their citizenship (assuming they are citizens) and sent packing.

This guy and his peeps might think they can waltz in and take the place over but we will not stand for this. Arizona has already made it difficult for those who have no respect for our country and the rest of us will be awaiting the Che following morons with dry powder.

The only revolution you guys will see is the one that kicks your rear ends out of this great nation.

So, to quote Sylvester Stallone in one of his Rocky Movies, Go for it.

Is a World Government Next?

I used to be sure it would never happen- after all, there are some great cultural divides between cultures and countries, not to mention the religion aspect- that one’s a biggie. But what is emerging with the ouster of Manuel Zelaya, former President of Honduras, is beginning to change my mind about the possibility of something beginning to stir.

First, some background on the Honduran situation. The ouster of Zelaya was not a coup in the strict sense of the word, as the Honduran military does not control the government, but just assisted in removing the former president, who was trying to pull a Chavez- like “President- for- Life” scheme out of his hat by changing the Honduran Constitution. This was (and is) illegal, so he was removed. The new President is a member of Zelaya’s own party.

Ask yourself, what would we do, if Hussein tried to do illegal, unconstitutional things- wait, that IS happening, isn’t it? But I digress—-

Hussein and Chavez seem to be partnering on a resolution where the UN will re-instate Zelaya- a wrong move on so many levels it is hard to know where to start.

The United Nations on Thursday begins a debate over a new U.N. military doctrine called the “Responsibility to Protect,” which would authorize the world organization to be used as cover to intervene in the sovereign affairs of a nation state, supposedly to protect the people of a country against their own government. The first target could be anti-communist Honduras.

The “Responsibility to Protect,” also known as RtoP or R2P, is mostly the work of the World Federalist Movement, a group dedicated to world government by strengthening the United Nations system. It is the major force behind the “International Coalition for the Responsibility to Protect.”

R2P was sold as something to be exercised against regimes practicing genocide against their own people. But the new doctrine is so vague and subject to political manipulation that one can speculate it could be used to justify some form of U.N. intervention in Honduras on the pretext that the people there are somehow being victimized by a popular military-backed regime. In fact, some Hondurans are telling this columnist that they are fearful that U.N. “blue helmets” are right now being prepared to invade their country.

Yep, it is looking as if our hemisphere is going “bananas”, as in Banana Republics (not the clothing store)- as power will be consolidated by “partnerships”, managed by the UN in a world where international law is ascendent, and every other country’s liberties and laws are secondary. 

It is difficult to dismiss these concerns as baseless rumors, considering what will be happening at the U.N. The key U.N. official orchestrating the debate, General Assembly President and Lenin Peace Prize recipient Miguel D’Escoto, is the same figure who recently managed passage of a U.N. resolution supporting the return to Honduras of Manuel Zelaya, who was removed by the military on the orders of the Honduran Supreme Court and Congress. Zelaya is a lackey of Venezuelan communist ruler Hugo Chavez, who is using his oil money to buy and influence governments throughout Latin America.

In an ominous development, blogger Jason Poblete, an astute observer of Latin American affairs with excellent sources,reports that “The Obama Administration is considering a United Nations Security Council Resolution against the constitutional government of Honduras.” If true, anticipated U.N. sanctions against Honduras could be followed by the world organization being used as cover for outside forces to invade Honduras and reinstate Zelaya.

The new government in Honduras replaced Zalaya because he was trying to set himself up as president-for-life, Chavez-style. All of this was found to be in violation of Honduran law and the Constitution. Despite what officials of the Obama Administration said in trying to orchestrate media coverage of this crisis, it was not a military coup in any sense. The military doesn’t run Honduras today. In fact, the new president, appointed by Congress, is from Zelaya’s own political party. Zelaya was dismissed because of the simple fact that he tried to violate the law and the Constitution.

This “Responsibility to Protect” is just a cheap way to legalize the “change in management” by the UN, and a way for the UN to get a foot in the door for consolidation of power by the few, to the detriment of the many. And it’s not just State powers that seem to have a stake in this quiet struggle, but the Catholic Church seems to have anted up, all while denying that they are in the game at all.

D’Escoto, or as he is called, “Father D’Escoto,” will preside over the U.N. debate, which is expected to run into Friday. Pope Benedict XVI endorsed the “Responsibility to Protect” in an April 2008 speech before the U.N. but has been unclear about how it should be implemented. He has called for dialogue in Honduras.
On the ground in Honduras, an overwhelmingly Catholic Central American country, the Catholic Church has backed the ouster of Zelaya because of the realistic fear that he was a front man for Chavez. In a statement, the Catholic bishops of Honduras declared that Zelaya had been removed from office on the basis of a valid court order.

But not all of the Catholic elements in the country are opposing Zalaya’s return. The Jesuit-run Radio Progreso has been acting as a mouthpiece for Zalaya and his supporters and is the source of the recent report that Zelaya intends to invade the country in cahoots with something called the Peaceful Resistance Front. The Catholic Church in Honduras fears that Zelaya could spark a bloodbath. Such a spectacle could provide the cover for U.N. intervention.

It appears that everyone wants a slice of the pie, but the real losers will be the smaller countries in this hemisphere, and indeed, beyond, as you could reasonably expect that Russia might seek to re- instate their control over the satellite countries that surround them, evoking a “Cold War” era look to the revised map.
Likewise, China might decide that Korea, Viet Nam, and even Japan might look good as trophies- who would stop them?

R2P is usually offered as a possible remedy in the case of Darfur, a region of Sudan where people are being massacred by the Islamic regime. But this was never realistic. President Obama promised but has failed to do anything about this. The real source of the problem in Darfur is the communist regime in China, which directly finances the Sudanese regime through oil purchases. Obama won’t confront China because he needs Chinese help to finance his tax, spend and debt policies.

Actually, he won’t confront China, because he can see himself doing much the same with the countries here in our hemisphere, all with this quasi- legal UN “law”, and he looks like he is going to begin with Zelaya and Honduras.

He should let democracy run its course, but he just can’t do that.

Because at his core, Hussein does not believe in democracy.

And that is bad for all of us.
