The Diverse And Compassionate Left

The left likes to pretend that it is diverse and compassionate and that they are the ones who truly look out for the interests of people while the knuckle dragging right only cares about money. This is a hard sell for thinking people because it certainly takes more compassion to give birth to a child, regardless of its health, and then care for it. That takes a lot more compassion than allowing children born alive after an unsuccessful abortion to lie around and die. Here is a message that Mark Steyn got (as told by him at NRO) about Sarah Palin:
This abortion prohibitionist hag won’t cut it among women with brains. And BTW she is a good example of reproduction run amok. 5 kids; 1 retard. I wonder if the bitch ever heard of getting spayed.
There is a real compassionate and diverse person. He ranks right up there with Alan Colmes and my commenter Austin who think it is their place to question what choices a woman makes (except when the choice is abortion). If a woman chooses to abort a child (even a healthy one) or allow it to die after it is born following an unsuccessful abortion then these kinds of jackasses think that is OK and a woman’s right to choose. Let a woman choose life, regardless of any defects the fetus might have, and they question her.
This person is also upset that Palin would dare to have five kids. I understand his problem because at the rate liberals abort their children they will be greatly outnumbered in the not too distant future. Ignoring all this, who is this twit to say that Palin is an example of reproduction run amok? If women have a right to choose does that not mean they have the right to choose how many children they want (provided they can support them), or not to have children at all? Who is this person to decide that for her?
Maybe this guy could focus his anger on inner city welfare dwellers who have multiple births from multiple fathers and then live off the taxpayer. Are they examples of reproduction run amok? I am pretty certain that Governor Palin is not collecting welfare and that she and her husband both earn salaries. It is a safe bet they have supported their children without welfare so it would seem to me that this ranks up there in the “none of your friggin business” category.
This is only a small sampling of the kinds of twisted stupidity we will see from morons who talk one game but live another. As for the comment about Palin having 5 kids; 1 retard.
The retards are those who write about children with birth defects and those who defend them.
As for women with brains, they never date or marry people like the one who wrote this comment. Kind of makes you wish his mother had opted for aborting him…
