Don’t Hold Your Breath Professor

Better yet, go ahead and hold your breath…..

Georgetown professor Michael Eric Dyson thinks white people should open IRAs (Individual Reparations Accounts) to pay black folks for slavery. Yes, you read that right. This dim bulb wants the whites in this nation to open accounts and put money in them (and probably contribute regularly) in order to pay black people, none of whom were EVER slaves, for slavery.

The guy wants people to pay a black guy who does work for you (if you are white) double what you would normally pay. His example is the black guy who cuts your grass.

What this liberal twit is saying is that, in typical liberal fashion, he wants YOUR money. He is inventing some BS reason to allow black folks to dip their hands into the pockets of white people to take their money. You know, white folks who had nothing to do with the practice must pay, according to libs, black folks who were never held as slaves, reparations.

This professor is among the race baiters in society who continue to hold black folks down by preaching to them how unfair life is for blacks because of whites. BTW, Barack Obama is proof of the racism that exists when a person from a minority that represents 15% of the population can be elected to the highest office in the land.

Let us not forget that the black liberals perpetuate their plight by holding folks down in the name of ideology. They are liberals and by definition MUST be victims. Look at how they treat black conservatives. Those successful people are called Uncle Toms and sell outs because they actually achieved success and have refused to be victims.

It is easier to be a victim and take handouts or forcefully take the property of other people than it is to work hard for it.

This professor wants white folks to believe they are only successful because they rode to success on the backs of slaves.

I want to make this clear. I have been working since I was 10 years old. Everything that I have in life is due to hard work and the grace of God. I did not take it from anyone else or have it given to me after it was taken by government.

If this professor would teach young much filled heads to do the same thing they would do much better.

You are only a victim if you allow yourself to be one.

And I cut my own damn grass…

Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

On Slavery, I’ll Do Like Obama

I wrote some time ago about the bill introduced to study reparations for the descendants of slaves. I am opposed to paying reparations for slavery for a number of reasons but mostly because no one alive today was a slave or owned a slave. Slavery is immoral and I could never own another human being but the descendants of slaves are better off today because their ancestors were slaves. If they had never been sold (by other blacks) into slavery then the descendants would have been born in Africa. No one can tell me that life in Africa today is better than life today in the United States.

For the sake of argument we will assume all blacks here are descendants of slaves. That means Barack Obama, a black man, holds the highest job in the land. His brother lives in poverty in Africa and his Aunt is an illegal immigrant from Africa. Would Obama have been better off if his lineage had stayed in Africa? The US would be better off but would Obama?

The same is true for ALL blacks living here. Even the poorest of the poor have it better than the people living in Africa. Those in Africa are in absolute poverty with kids dying of malnutrition, people dying of AIDS and malaria and on top of that they have to worry about fighting among tribes. Where in America does anyone, black or otherwise, have it that bad?

But, there is this call for reparations and I am sure they will work real hard to find a way to make the taxpayers of today pay for the immoral (though legal) actions of the ancestors of white Europeans. I have to voice my opposition and I want to use the Obama approach.

When Bill Ayers and his terrorist acts were discussed during the campaign and his relationship with Obama was brought out into the light, Obama said that he should not be held accountable for his ties to a person who did bad things when he was only 8 years old. When Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega went on a 50 minute tirade against the US (one Obama never defended) Obama said he was glad that Ortega did not blame him for things that happened when he was 3.

I see the rationale here. To Obama, he should not be blamed for things he had nothing to do with. Of course, no one blamed him for things he had nothing to do with. With regard to Ayers, it was his relationship with a man who had done bad things. No one blamed Obama for what Ayers did, only for being his friend which gives the impression (which is actually the truth) that Obama is just as radical.

Be that as it may, Obama said he should not be held accountable for the things that happened when he was a child. He said not to blame him for things that he had nothing to do with.

EXACTLY!

I had nothing to do with slavery. I did not own slaves and I never mistreated anyone based on his color. I am not responsible for what happened so my tax dollars should not go to pay for reparations. As a matter of fact, I had nothing to do with Jim Crow Laws (the Democrats gave us them) and I had nothing to do with segregated lunch counters, rides in the back of the bus or anything else.

Let me put it in Obama’s language:

For slavery, don’t hold me accountable for something that ended 96 years before I was born.

For discrimination, don’t hold me accountable for things that happened when I was a kid.

I am a Republican so don’t hold me accountable for the racism and discrimination that the Democrats caused.

Now you libs have two choices. You can agree with me and say that we are not accountable for what happened over a century ago or you can say that we are responsible and have to pay.

If you take the second course of action you are saying that Obama is accountable for what Ayers did and for the things Ortega ranted about.

The choice is yours. I already know what I believe and nothing will change that.

8 Million Dollars To Study Reparations For Slave Descendants

Congressman John Conyers has introduced a House Resolution (which he has introduced before) to determine if descendants of slaves should receive reparations. The committee will have 90 days to study the matter to see if slavery has had an advese effect on African Americans of today and if the country should issue a formal apology and pay them reparations.

Slavery happened a long time ago and no one who was a slave or who owned slaves is alive. Blacks in this country have every opportunity that whites have to achieve. They are not owned by anyone except the Democratic party and that is of their own doing.

Someone emailed about this and had the following quote (I will not attribute because I don’t know if the author meant for this to be public):

We’re talking about REPARATIONS – monetary payment – as if subsidized housing, welfare payments, affirmative action, set-asides, head-start, Job Corps, and all the rest for the past fifty years were not enough, let alone the hand-outs in the latest “stimulus” bill.

I have to agree with this. The black population gets a number of reparations as it is including all the ones mentioned above. Why do we need to spend 8 million dollars to study an issue that should have been dead and buried a long time ago. I thought the election of Barack Obama was supposed to put race behind us.

I wonder if the ancestors of whites who died in the Civil War, the war that ended slavery, are eligible for payment. A lot of men died in that war and it seems they paid a pretty stiff price. Where do we go from here? Will we pay Indians because of how they were treated? Will we pay Japanese for what happened in WW II? Where do we draw the line? Why is there not 8 million dollars to study other aggrieved groups?

If the US issues an apology my name is not on it. They will be doing it without my consent and they do not have the authority to issue it on my behalf. People apologize for something THEY did wrong. I did nothing wrong. I have never owned anyone of any color nor have I bought or sold anyone. In other words, I have nothing to apologize for.

I also do not want to pay one red cent in reparations. I owe nothing and I intend to pay nothing. My tax dollars support the aforementioned items, all of which are reparations for the injustices done a long time ago.

None of the folks receiving them (or who would receive reparations) did anything to deserve the money. They were not slaves and just because their ancestors were does not entitle them to a damn thing.

My Bible tells me that God does not visit the sins of the father on the son [2 Chronicles 25:4]. If God does not think I should be responsible for the sins of my ancestors then the government has little standing on the issue.
