Our Government; State Sponsors Of Terrorism

The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) staged a protest at the home of Greg Baer, a Bank of America executive. Five hundred union sponsored thugs arrived at the home, located in Montgomery County, Maryland, escorted by officers from the DC police department. The DC police have no jurisdictional authority in Maryland and were there to ensure the safety of the protesters.

So let’s get this straight, 500 people arrive at a home and trespass on the property. The only person home is a teen aged child of Baer and the DC police are there to protect the protesters. Even if the entire family had been home they would have been outnumbered by about 100:1 so who actually needed protection?

The DC police watched as the protesters trespassed but they did nothing because they do not have jurisdiction. If the protest had gotten more out of hand and turned violent or if they decided to burn the house down, would the DC police officers have been obligated to intervene?

Suppose the homeowner felt threatened and stepped out with a shotgun and told the protesters to leave the property, would the DC police officers, as protectors of the thugs, then had the authority to intervene? If they have no jurisdiction, what kind of protection were they providing. As an aside, who paid their salaries for this protection?

The Montgomery County Police Department arrived after being called by a neighbor and dispersed the crowd but no charges were filed. Perhaps a multi-million dollar lawsuit against SEIU and the DC Police Department is in order here. A teen aged boy was scared to death and locked himself in a bathroom while police officers, the people children are taught to seek for help, watched him be terrorized.

Your right to protest ends when you infringe upon the rights of others and terrorizing people in their homes is an infringement upon them.

SEIU and their protectors in the DC Police Department engaged in terrorist acts against citizens of this country. They should be held accountable.

There had better be a strong stance taken against this kind of terrorism. The last thing the police want to see is homeowners defending themselves though I would not blame any homeowner who did so.

Homegrown terrorists like SEIU and their protectors in the DC Police Department need to be taken to Gitmo.

Since DC is a federal property and the DC police are part of that property it is now clear that our government has become a state sponsor of terrorism.

And they wonder why we say Obama is soft on terror.

TEA Party Descends On Searchlight

About 7000 TEA Party activists arrived in the small town of Searchlight, the place from which Harry Reid hails, to let the state and the Senator know that they are not happy with him and that he is going to be bounced in November. Sarah Palin addressed the phony charges that her “reload” remark was designed to stir up violence. Palin said she was trying to inspire people to get involved and told DC that we will not sit down and shut up.

It would seem that the TEA Party group is not as violent as the DC crowd would have us believe. Extra police were on hand and responded to a report of a fisfight but found nothing when they arrived:

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department sent dozens of uniformed and plainclothes officers to patrol the crowd. Officer Jay Rivera said there was a report of a fistfight in the morning, but when police responded, they found nothing. He said there had been no arrests.

“So far it’s nice and peaceful,” Rivera said. AP via My Way News

Harry Reid dismissed the gathering by saying he thought it was great that out of towners came in and spent money there during this economic downturn but that the people of Nevada will decide his fate, not a bunch of people who “parachute in.”

Harry is happy that people are spending money there but thinks they have no right to actually say anything about his reelection. While it is true that only Nevadans will vote, they will be influenced by the people who showed up. Reid is the Senate Majority Leader and as such is accountable to all of America, just not at the ballot box. Non Nevadans can’t vote for him (unless they are ACORN sign ups) but we can influence that vote. Funny, Reid does not mind campaign donations from people who cannot vote for him…

Some people in the area supported Reid and had good things to say about him. I am sure we can find people who like any politician. The trick for Reid will be to find enough to give him a win.

I just do not think that is going to happen.

We will see but it is nice to see peaceful activists exercising their Constitutional rights.

I wonder how many times the MSM called them racists (but Harry is white), tea baggers, fringe or violent?

Students Across The Country Protest Fee Hikes

Students across the country are protesting hikes in college tuition. The protests have become violent at times as students commit acts of vandalism and clash with police.

Decreased tax revenues and the tough economy have forced some jurisdictions to cut funding to schools and the difference will be made up in increased tuition.

So let’s get this straight, these kids are protesting a hike in fees because schools are not getting enough of our tax dollars to subsidize them. What would these students propose we do, raise taxes? Making us pay more so they do not have to would go over real well.

It is already a problem that taxes pay for higher education when many of the taxpayers are not benefiting from the expenditure.

However, I can understand the sentiment. People across the country are protesting higher taxes and an out of control big government. They are called the Tea Party.

The major differences; Tea Party members do not commit violence or vandalism and they are portrayed as villains by the Lame Stream Media.

Tell these kids to get a part time job or take fewer classes each year. Consider the experience an early start to what life is really like.

The Media’s Disdain For The Right

It is no secret that the Lame Stream Media are uber leftists who despise the right. With the exception of Fox News, the balance are so far left they hold up the walls. The liberal media are far from objective and when Obama became the front runner they abandoned all pretense of impartiality and went to bat for the man. They ignored stories, helped him push his lies and they spun any story that needed spinning. Rush Limbaugh calls them stenographers for the Obama administration.

The LSM are great supporters of the right to protest so long as the protest is a leftist group and funded by George Soros. Then it is a worthy cause and must get attention. The gay marriage issue in California received all kinds of media attention when the gays threw sissy fits and held protests because they did not get their way. The LSM could not wait to tell us how unfair it all was. In fact, any time a gay issue results in a protest the LSM is there.

Let pro abortion advocates protest about some worry about losing the right to murder unborn children and the LSM slobbers all over themselves covering the issue. Let some murderer come close to his execution time and liberals protest to keep from frying the guy. Those protests get plenty of news coverage and the LSM is all on the side of the murderer.

Let the right wing organize a grass roots effort to protest something and the LSM either ignores it or insults it. The LSM this week have had a great time bashing the tea parties that took place around the country as hundreds of thousands of people protested government spending and tax increases. The LSM kept using the term tea bagging and had fun with all the sexual innuendo. For those who do not know, tea bagging is a vulgar sexual term. Keith Olberdouche had fun with it as did others. One in particular was the homosexual Anderson Cooper who exclaimed it was hard to talk when you are tea bagging. He should know considering that he plays tea cup to Obama’s Mr. Lipton. However, Cooper seems to be able to speak while servicing the Resident.

The most childish report came from David Shuster who gave an account more fitting for Saturday Night Live than MSNBC though it might be close since one is a comedy and the other a joke. Here is what Shuster passed off as news (it would be helpful if you know the definition of tea bagging before you read this):

DAVID SHUSTER, HOST: For most Americans, Wednesday, April 15th will be Tax Day. But in our fourth story tonight: It‘s going to be teabagging day for the right-wing and they’re going nuts for it. Thousands of them whipped out the festivities early this past weekend, and while the parties are officially toothless, the teabaggers are full-throated about their goals.

They want to give President Obama a strong tongue-lashing and lick government spending-spending they did not oppose when they were under presidents Bush and Reagan. They oppose Mr. Obama‘s tax rates-which will be lower for most of them-and they oppose the tax increases Mr. Obama is imposing on the rich, whose taxes will skyrocket to a rate about 10 percent less than it was under Reagan. That‘s teabagging in a nut shell.

Taking its inspiration from the Boston Tea Party when colonists tossed British tea into the sea because the tax in it had not been voted on by their own duly-elected representatives-that‘s exactly the opposite, of course, of today‘s taxes, known in some quarters as taxation with representation.

But as “New York Times” columnist, Paul Krugman, points out today, this time, the tea bagging is not a spontaneous uprising. The people who came up with it are a familiar circle of Republicans, including former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, both of whom have firm support from right-wing financiers and lobbyists. As well as Washington prostitute patron, Senator David Vitter, who has issued statements in support of teabagging but is publicly tight-lipped.

Then there was the media, specifically the FOX News Channel, including Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity. Both are looking forward to an up close and personal taste of teabagging themselves at events this Wednesday. But most amusing of all is Neil Cavuto, a member of the network‘s executive committee. Neil‘s online bio says he joined the network in July of 1996, three months before the FOX News Channel went on the air.

Cavuto, defending his network‘s proportion of teabagging said, quote, “We are going to be right in middle of these teabaggers, because at FOX, we do not pick and choose these rallies and protests. We were there for the Million Man March.

Can we roll that footage, the FOX News coverage of the Million Man March backing in October of ‘95?

Of course, the Million Man March occurred, as NewsHounds.org points out, almost a year before FOX News was on the air.

We can only speculate why widespread teabagging made Cavuto think of the Million Man March, unless he got them confused with Dick Armey. And in Cavuto‘s defense, if you are planning simultaneous teabagging all around the country, you‘re going to need a Dick Armey. News Busters

This is the contempt that the LSM has for the right in America. They insult us and they are disparaging toward us. They have lost any hint of objectivity. Can you imagine them treating anti war protesters like this? Imagine how they would have reacted if Cindy Sheehan and her band of rag tag morons had been treated this way by Fox.

Do you suppose you would ever hear the LSM treat Code Pink this way?

Of course not. They only have a dislike for the right and they will attack us any chance they get.

However, the good news is that MSNBC has a small audience. Nearly every show on Fox beats EVERY show at MSNBC in the ratings department and often single Fox shows beat all the MSNBC shows COMBINED. There is a reason that people do not watch morons like Olberdouche and Shuster and that is beacuse they are pathetic pukes who should be beaten with a bat. As a disclaimer, I am not inciting anyone to actually do that. I am only stating that they should be beaten, not that anyone actually do it. God knows we don’t want the LSM crying about hate speech.

But, if anyone beat them with bats I would not cry about it and I would certainly understand why.

It isn’t bad enough that Shuster has all the sexual references but he also lies. He claims that the people now protesting Obama did not say anything when Bush spent all that money.

First of all Bush did not spend the money and neither did Obama. The Constitution only allows Congress to spend it. Second of all, we did complain about the out of control spending during the time the Republicans were in charge. I will also point out that the tea parties (I have not heard the word tea bagging used by anyone but the media and a few morons who comment here) were not aimed at Obama. They were largely a right wing effort but there were a number of Democrats involved. These were aimed at government, both parties. These were a sign that we have had enough of all the spending and that the idea of our grandchildren paying the debt is appalling to us. And I will add that no matter what the tax rates were in the past raising taxes during a recession is stupid and will result in worse financial problems.

But, if Shuster wants to get picky, Obama has created a deficit that is many times larger than the one Bush left after 8 years and Obama has done that in 3 months. Obama is sending more than any president in history.

We have had enough and we are not going to take much more of this and we will continue to resist and to protest. As for the LSM, no one expects them to be objective. However, they might think twice about what they will say before venturing out into the crowds where they will have no protection. Though I know the people on the right are well behaved when they protest, you might have to watch for the right wing extremists. You never have to worry about left wing extremist groups at these protests. They prefer to fly planes into buildings.

We never have to worry about Olberdouche and Shuster because they are a couple of limp wristed bed wetters who would never go out where it might be dangerous. They are a couple of cowards. As for Anderson Cooper, he is a puss as well. The only place you will see him is covering protests against doing away with glory holes is San Francisco.

I am rather surprised that the likes of Shuster and the others knew what tea bagging was. They are liberals and liberals are like a batter with an 0-3 count.

Democrats Flip-Flop on Importance of Military Service

It seems that the Democratic strategy is to minimize John McCain’s military service so as to put him on an even playing field with Barack Obama with regard to experience and ability to lead the country as well as the armed forces. Obama surrogates have been minimizing McCain’s service and repeating that it does not give him any experience needed to be president and the sole purpose is to make people think that McCain is no more qualified with regard to military matters. The interesting thing is that after 6 or 7 of his surrogates have beaten up on McCain (the latest being Wesley Clark) they have changed tact and now want McCain to stop discussing his military service (which McCain does very little of). Jim Webb, Democrat of Virginia put it this way:

“I think what we really need to work on over the next four, five months, and it goes back to the speech that Sen. Obama gave [Monday] and this little fight that I’ve been watching and that is, we need to make sure that we take politics out of service,” Webb said. “People don’t serve their country for political issues.”

He continued: “And John McCain’s my long-time friend, if that is one area that I would ask him to calm down on, it`s that, don’t be standing up and uttering your political views and implying that all the people in the military support them because they don’t, any more than when the Democrats have political issues during the Vietnam War. Let’s get the politics out of the military, take care of our military people, or have our political arguments in other areas.”

First of all, McCain does not go around discussing his military credentials because they are well known. I have never heard him state that people in the military agree with him because of his service though most members of the military are conservative and vote Republican.

Secondly, why is it that Webb and the others want McCain not to discuss his service? They want to take this issue off the table. The military angle is designed to make people believe that the military does not support McCain and that is why they told that flat out lie. The Democrats want to negate the military vote as much as possible and want to diminish any support McCain might get from the military.

The interesting thing about all this is that the very people who want McCain to tone down the military talk felt perfectly comfortable using their own service to advance their careers. Jim Webb touted his service all over when he was running for office and he made a big stink about his son being in the war zone. Contrast that with McCain who takes care not to mention his 3 sons serving in the military, one of whom is in combat. Webb had no issue when he ran a campaign ad that showed footage of Ronald Reagan praising him for his service as a Marine. Webb certainly didn’t have any objection when he used military women who endorsed him to quell woman who were upset with Webb’s article that stated women can’t fight. I guess it was OK to use his service for politics then because he is a Democrat.

When 2004 rolled around and John Kerry reported for duty and tried to trump his three months of service in Vietnam into an adventure filled, full blown, military career, these very people were behind him every step of the way. They allowed Kerry to embellish his record and to act as if he were a war hero while they ridiculed George Bush as a drunken, drugging, AWOL National Guardsman. John Kerry’s war experience was what we needed to lead this country and Democrats like Clark and Webb were pushing this executive responsibility as the salvation the country needed. Never once did any of them tell Kerry to tone it down or to keep his service out of the race. They actively pushed this aspect of Kerry’s life while ignoring the anti war protesting that he engaged in for about two years, or nearly eight times longer than he served in Vietnam. The Democrats wanted us to honor his service and vote for him because of it while ignoring the disgrace he brought to military members still fighting in Vietnam. All of this was perfectly OK because Kerry is a Democrat and they always have a different set of rules by which they play.

The only time military service does not matter is when Democrats are running candidates without any. When they run people who served we are told they are war heroes but when they run people with no service experience then we are told that military experience is not needed. Bill Clinton had no military service and gamed the system in order to dodge the draft. Not important, too much emphasis put on military experience so let’s move on, nothing to see here.

Now they are in the same boat. They have Barack Obama who has no military experience so now it is no longer important. If Obama had been in the service, he too would be reporting for duty and they would be trumpeting his great service as if he were Sun Tzu. Instead, they must marginalize John McCain’s service because Obama, like Clinton, did not serve. That is how they intend to level the playing field. They believe they were able to do it with Clinton and will try to do it again with Obama.

The big difference is that when Clinton ran we were not at war. The person who assumes the leadership of this country will inherit a war. It would be a good idea to have someone familiar with the concept running the show. The public knows it and the Democrats know it and that is the sole reason they are attacking McCain’s service and the value of it. They cannot compete in this arena and they know it.

We cannot allow them to denigrate McCain’s service for political expediency. His service and military experience is as good as Clark’s (despite what Clark thinks) and it is certainly far superior to that of John Kerry, both of whom ran for the office of president while emphasizing their military credentials.

This is one battle Senator Hopenchange cannot win so long as we do not allow the enemy to rewrite history, a feat at which Democrats are quite skilled.
