Behar Displays Progressive Civility

Josephina Victoria Occhiuto, better known as Joy Behar, a nearly 70 year old harpy who has had several failed TV talk shows (and is engaging in a soon to be failed talk show on Al Gore’s network), is an unhappy progressive who wishes ill on those with whom she disagrees. She was interviewed by Mediaite recently and she had some very disturbing things to say.

Behar was asked what she would ask Mitt Romney (I assume the question was hypothetical should she be able to interview him on her soon to fail show) and she basically said she would ask about his flip flopping. She also indicated that she would ask if he intended to endorse the Paul Ryan budget which Behar said would be bad.

Keep in mind, Ryan and Republicans are the only people working on budgets as the Democrat controlled Senate has failed to deliver a budget for about 1100 days.

In any event, the progressive Behar got around to saying Romney was making fun of Barack Obama for wanting to hire more firemen, policemen and teachers. The remark refers to Romney asking if Obama got the message from Wisconsin that people wanted less government. That led Behar to claim the statement was idiotic.

Let’s clear a few things up. Except for federal police officers and firefighters (and teachers who teach for the federal government) all these occupations are hired at the local level. These public servants are hired at the state level or lower (county, city, etc) so the federal government is not involved in that process. The only thing that the feds have done is infuse federal taxpayer dollars into states so they could pay for the out of control benefits to these union employees and the retirees of those unions.

The whole issue is designed to play on emotions. States and localities do not cut essential services like police and fire first. If they cut at all they make the cuts in all kinds of other places first because these entities represent large blocks of union (read Democrat) voters. This is the main reason Democrats want to send them money.

Personally, I think if a jurisdiction can’t run its budget correctly then it needs new leadership and it needs to find ways to live within its means regardless of what has to be CUT.

Behar was not done though. She demonstrated the great civility of the left by proclaiming that she would like to see Romney’s house burn down. Then she disparaged his religion by asking who he would call, the Mormon fire patrol.

Just imagine if a conservative had asked about a Jewish politician if he was going to call the Jew fire patrol. Imagine if that same conservative had asked about a Muslim politician if he was going to call the Muslim fire patrol…

I think we all know where that would go.

Then again it is not conservatives who are playing class warfare and dividing Americans by wealth, sex and religion.

That comes from the bigots on the left.

Behar is a tired old lady who runs her mouth without the assistance of brain cells that have long since been depleted by a lack of oxygen because of where she keeps her head. She does not engage in intelligent conversation and she rarely makes sense because she defends things that are indefensible, chiefly progressivism. It is a shame because she is well educated. The shame is that she wasted the education on lunacy.

She will fail once again as a talk show host but I doubt that will keep her from running her mouth.

One thing I think she could be successful at is using her picture to cure that erection that lasts for four hours associated with some erectile dysfunction drugs.

The Other Rich Need To Do Something

Moochelle Obama was out on the campaign trail, no doubt proud of her country for the first time in her life, and she was talking about how the rich need to do more for the poor. She is likely unaware that the top 50% of wage earners (the rich would be located at the top of that group) pay all the federal income taxes in this country and the bottom 50% get that tax money in the form of social programs. She is also probably not aware that social programs enacted by Democrats have enslaved people to government and kept them from achieving.

Obama asked:

“Will we be a country where success is limited to the few at the top? This country is strongest when we are all better off.” Washington Examiner

Obama is not aware that success is not limited to the few at the top. Anyone in America who has the desire and the education can succeed. What Obama really means is are we going to allow people on welfare to get fewer benefits because the rich are already taxed too much? Yes, the rich pay most of the federal taxes in this country and progressives have redistributed that money for all kinds of unconstitutional and unnecessary programs in the name of social justice.

They do not care that their programs keep people enslaved. Let me rephrase, they care but not for the reasons sane people would. They care because they want, no they NEED, people to be enslaved to government. It is how they continue to get people voting for them and their agenda to rob the rich to pay the poor. Theirs is a plan that has always led to failure. It has taken nearly a century but the failure of Democrat social programs becomes more evident each day. It will only get worse.

The ironic thing is that Obama and her hubby, Barack, are both rich and they also live life high on the hog on taxpayer money. Moochelle goes on expensive vacations (16 in the last three years, some with her husband, some without) that cost the taxpayers lots of money. The argument that it is part of the gig does not hold water. We are in tough economic times and we cannot afford such extravagance. If Obama and her hubby want people to sacrifice (they keep saying we all need to sacrifice – shared sacrifice they call it) they need to lead by example. Every few weeks she is off on another trip with hoards of people and he is on a golf course someplace. Sacrifice, yes for you but not for them. They are American royalty, after all.

Another ironic thing is that Moochelle was saying all of this to people who are very wealthy and who paid a lot of money to hear her talk. The money was raised to help keep her husband in office.

It was probably a drop in the bucket since Barack has been using billions of dollars in taxpayer money to buy votes and get donations. His waste of taxpayer money on green energy companies that end up going out of business and leaving the taxpayer with billions in losses is a scheme to get him more campaign cash. This is also true of his union bailouts and gifts of taxpayer money.

This group of thugs is a criminal enterprise. It is nothing more than Chicago style politics and that means it is corrupt from beginning to end.

Maybe instead of asking the wealthy to sacrifice more than they already have Moochelle could ask unpatriotic folks who pay NO taxes to pony up and get some skin in the game.

And maybe she and hubby could give up those expensive meals they love to stuff in their faces

It is hard to discuss how we are all better off by having the rich sacrifice more when the Obamas routinely eat $150 a POUND Wagyu steak.

Moochelle does not care if we are all better off as long as she is better off.

I guess she is living in one of those two Americas John Edwards used to talk about.

And you can bet your paycheck that it is not the poor one and that she wants to stay there and that she does not care where you are.

It is how progressives work. They use class warfare to pit people against each other. They pretend to worry about the poor while pushing policies that keep people in poverty (or in the case of Barack, put even more people in poverty) and they work hard to make sure they are wealthy and remain that way.

Let’s fire them in November and put some people with class in the White House.

Deadly Fungus Is The New Threat

On the heels of the H1N1 (Swine Flu) scare that turned out to be much ado about nothing, a new threat has emerged that has the scientists in a tizzy. A potentially deadly fungus has emerged. The good news is that it affects people who are immunocompromised. The bad news is, if you are one of those folks, you are susceptible.

A potentially deadly strain of fungus is spreading among animals and people in the northwestern United States and the Canadian province of British Columbia, researchers reported on Thursday.

The airborne fungus, called Cryptococcus gattii, usually only infects transplant and AIDS patients and people with otherwise compromised immune systems, but the new strain is genetically different, the researchers said. al-Reuters

There are plenty of microorganisms that affect only those with a compromised immune system. I think the concern with this one is that they claim that global warming might aid its spread. Ah, the old global warming thing. If you can’t get attention by cooking the books or when you get caught cooking them the next best thing is to manufacture concern over a killer fungus that “might” be aided by global warming so probably not.

Will people who are not affected be concerned? There are plenty of microorganisms that affect such people but no one has claimed they are aided by global warming.

We have a fungus that has been growing in America for about 100 years and it is called the progressive movement. It is aided by our government and a Marxist philosophy and it is spread through the exploitation of tax payers.

We might never eradicate C. gattii but we can eradicate the progressive agenda.
