Make The Occupied Cities Pay

The Occupy [name a city] movement is a display of liberal politics and philosophy. The protesters are generally located in areas that are run by Democrats which means they are places that are bankrupt and feature a dependent class of takers.

The problem is that these protesters are running roughshod over Democrat politicians who are bowing down to them because they are afraid they will lose votes. The same politicians who have no problem attacking the peaceful and respectful TEA Party members cower in fear over these sub human cretins who are destroying property and living like animals.

The Occupy movements are being coddled to and people cite First Amendment rights. Those rights end when the protesters violate the rights of others or break the law. The fact that people have rights does not mean that they do not have to follow rules. If the rules say they can’t camp in the parks then they can’t camp in the parks regardless of what an ACLU puppet judge claims.

This is evident in Baltimore Maryland. Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is cowering to the Occupy crowd because she does not want to hurt their feelings or some such crap. These cretins are occupying an area that has been permitted for an event since long before Occupy [whatever] started.

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network applied to use McKeldin Square and received a permit long before the Occupy insanity started. This group did the right thing and applied for a permit. Now it has decided to move its event because the Square is full of Occupy slugs that the city has not removed. Mayor Blake, make the Occupiers MOVE. Another group has a legal right and has been permitted by the City to use the Square so make the ILLEGAL Occupiers move.

The Occupiers claim they are willing to work with other groups on the use of the area. Excuse me? These pigs are in no position to bargain. They are in no position to decide on such things. They are in a place that someone else has a permit to use.

I bet if the TEA Party was the group Blake would have had them removed by now. Of course that is hypothetical since the TEA Party consists of people who obey the law, clean up after themselves and do not spread diseases around.

If I were Mayor of Baltimore I would have given the Occupiers a time to vacate and if they were not out by that time the police would remove them.

But since Baltimore and the other liberal bastions bow to those who are causing problems for the productive members of society it is time for the majority of the 99% to act accordingly.

I recommend that people avoid places like Baltimore. There are plenty of other places to eat and plenty of other venues for entertainment. So there is no need to go to Baltimore or any other occupied place and spend money. Spend your money and spend your time in places where the elected officials respect the rule of law and do not bow down to the terrorists of the Occupy movement.

Let us make these areas feel the pain of their indifference. Let us make them pay for their inability to lead.

No Drilling In Alaska For Shell

Gas prices keep going up and the unrest in the Middle East will not make things any better. Some analysts predict $5.00 a gallon gas this year and if that happens any hope for economic recovery will rapidly fade. We have plenty of our own resources but we are not allowed to use them. We already see how the Obama policies are affecting Texas (in the spotlight of the Superbowl) and now we see the result of his oil policies.

Shell will not be drilling in Alaska this year.

Shell Alaska has dropped plans to drill in the Arctic waters of the Beaufort Sea this year and will concentrate on obtaining permits for the 2012 season, company Vice President Pete Slaiby said Thursday.

The recent remand of air permits issued by the Environmental Protection Agency was the final driver behind the decision, Slaiby said at a news conference. Yahoo News

The administration is doing everything it can to keep us from using our resources. Hell, Obama and his minions are in contempt of court for the refusal to follow court orders related to drilling in the Gulf because they do not care about the law.

The regime has an agenda and it will keep pushing until it destroys us.

How long will this continue before we have push back?

Federal Workers Taking A Break From Oil Spill

While thousands of local citizens will be working through the Independence Day holiday to fight back the oil spill in the Gulf, federal workers there will be taking the holiday off.

Roberts told WWL First News that after they submitted the proposal to the Army Corps of Engineers last week, Corps officials said last Friday that discussion on the plan would have to be put on hold until the following Monday, because the Corps office would be closed for the weekend.

“Whoever reviews permits, and whatever departments and stakeholders and agencies need to give approval for this…should be working around the clock, just like the people are that are trying to get this oil picked up,” Roberts said. WWL

Roberts is absolutely correct. Those who are required to review permits and perform other functions vital to the Gulf effort need to be at work. If what they do is not important enough to stay and get done then it is not important enough for the locals to worry about.

In that light, Roberts and his people should just take the weekend to do what they need to do and what they asked for permits to do and be done with it. Who cares if the Army COE or other federal agencies are not happy? If they really cared they would keep working to get things done. Taking the holiday off means a 2-3 day delay in getting things done. That could be the difference between oil contained and oil on the shore.

So now would be a good time for the locals to ignore the feds and do what is necessary to get things done.

I also want to stress that we are working closely with the Gulf states and local communities to help every American affected by this crisis. Let me be clear: BP is responsible for this leak; BP will be paying the bill. But as President of the United States, I’m going to spare no effort to respond to this crisis for as long as it continues. And we will spare no resource to clean up whatever damage is caused. And while there will be time to fully investigate what happened on that rig and hold responsible parties accountable, our focus now is on a fully coordinated, relentless response effort to stop the leak and prevent more damage to the Gulf.
– Barack Obama, May 2, 2010.

I guess spare no effort does not include people working on the holiday…
