Looks like the Fourth of July is no longer Independence Day. Nancy Pelosi, the moron whose brain is botox numbed, noted that it was one year ago that the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare (what they did was change it to a taxing scheme) and therefore provides health independence for millions of Americans (and no doubt illegals).
Pretty soon we’ll all be leaving for the Fourth of July recess. Next week when we celebrate Independence Day, we’ll also be observing health independence. This marks one year since the Supreme Court upheld the Affordable Care Act. “Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” The Affordable Care Act offers just that: A healthier life, liberty [to] pursue [a] person’s happiness, to be free of constraint, the job locked, uhh, because they’re policy locked. So, if you wanted to be a cameraman, a writer, you want to be self-employed, if you want to start a business, if you want to change jobs — whatever is you want to do — you are free. ~Nancy Pelosi
The reality is that Obamacare enslaves people to government. We fought for our Independence from an oppressive government only to end up a few hundred years later enslaved to the new government. Obamacare FORCES people to engage in commerce and it FORCES them to pay fines (the SCOTUS redefined them as taxes). When people have independence they are FREE to choose.
When people are forced to do something they do not want and that is not authorized under the Constitution then they are not Independent.
Nancy Pelosi might celebrate Obamacare on the 4th of July and it is likely that many of the low information Americans will celebrate with her.
The rest of us will celebrate the Independence our Founders fought, and many patriots died, for. We will lament what is happening to this nation and the shackles that are placed around our legs by today’s government.
But we will not celebrate the slavery that has been imposed by the government that is supposed to protect our freedom.
Pelosi is an idiot and she has no concept of how this nation was founded and what led to our Independence.
She only knows how to oppress.
She is a modern day slave owner and she likes it that way.

The Poor Pay More, Deservedly So

When Obama and his band of merry thieves were out pushing socialized medicine down our throats the supporters were elated at the prospect of free health care. Make those nasty rich people pay for my health care. Pay for my birth control as well because this is my right!
There is no such thing as a free lunch and, as Obama’s favorite Imam (ahem, Pastor), Jeremiah Wright, might say the chickens are coming home to roost.
It looks like the poor will be hit particularly hard by Obamacare. Yes ladies and gentlemen, the poor will pay more.

Excuse me, I had to laugh. They thought the evil rich would take it in the shorts while they received another government provided (read taxpayer provided) hand out.
It is becoming increasingly apparent that Obamacare is going to make health care unaffordable to a shockingly large number of poor people — many of them single and childless. This should come as no surprise, though: The burden of regulation falls all too often disproportionately on the relatively poor, especially the working poor — the very people this law was supposed to help. Obamacare, sadly, is merely the latest and most painful hit from the regulatory onslaught of Washington, diverting resources that could be better used to address larger and more immediate risks. I am sure there will be some mad rush to correct this. Politicians will scream bloody murder and there will be a push for some single payer system to take out the disparity. Why, it is just unfair to make the poor pay more.
Well hell, government caused it. They should have read the bill before they passed it but Pelosi said it had to be passed to see what was in it.
So now that it has passed we are seeing more and more things that are a nightmare.
The poor will be hard hit but that must happen. Pain is a great teacher and unless it hurts them a lot they will keep doing stupid things like supporting the redistribution of taxpayer money.

Sequestration Saves The Troops

The sequestration is a bogeyman that the Democrats are trying to use to blame Republicans for everything that happens. The fact that Obama came up with the idea is not part of their thinking process because they are interested in blaming everything on the right. They have hopes that they can pin this on Republicans and that it will help them keep the Senate and take the House back.

The idea that Sequester is debilitating is moronic. The cuts amount to 2 cents of every dollar. That is not much money and any pain felt is because Democrats have specifically made cuts to areas that would cause harm. They can shut down White House tours while still allowing million dollar donors to show up. They can allow TSA to furlough employees to harm the public because it is the only way. Of course another solution was found as soon as some member of Congress was inconvenienced by the travel delays.
These facts have not stopped Democrats from using sequester as their talking point. One Democrat blamed sequester for the events in Benghazi when sequester took place after the murders there. As an aside, the alleged cut in money for security is a smoke screen. We had money to put electric car charging stations but not for security? Get real.
Nancy Pelosi is the latest Democrat to blame the sequester for something. It seems that San Fran Nan is blaming the sequester for the fact that she did not take a delegation to Iraq or Afghanistan to thank mothers and grandmothers for serving in the military:
“Every year for the past few years on Mother’s Day I’ve taken a delegation to Afghanistan – or Iraq – to say thank you to our moms – and by the way, our grandmothers – who are serving there – to also thank all of our troops for what they do to protect America’s families. I won’t be going this particular weekend because we don’t have – you know, under sequestration – we don’t have (inaudible).” IJ Review
I don’t know how much money it costs to take a delegation to Iraq or Afghanistan but it is not cheap and we don’t have money to begin with. I also do not know why Pelosi thinks it is necessary to fly around the world to say thank you to mothers and grandmothers. It would be much easier and far less expensive for her to put out a thank you on her website and then have Defense notify the troops it is there through their systems. She can’t possibly visit every mother and grandmother in these countries so the message sent electronically would at least make it to as many as she would have visited.
It sounds to me like Nan just wants and excuse for a trip. I know these places are not garden spots but think of how many places she can visit on the way out and the way back, I mean since they are already in the neighborhood.
Pelosi makes this statement as if it is a bad thing that she could not go and seems to think blaming it on sequester will hurt Republicans.
First of all, I venture to bet that most of the military do not want to see her or visit with her. She is a liberal moron who does not support the troops.
Second of all, if she could not waste money on this trip because of the sequester then I say it is doing what it is supposed to.
However, I will buy her a one way ticket if they promise to keep her there.

Democrat Promises Never Change, Neither Do the Results

Thomas D’Alesandro, Jr. was the father of Nancy Pelosi and he was as big a left wing liberal Democrat as she is today. His positions and his political life influenced her political life and certainly on her view of America. D’Alesandro was born in Baltimore Maryland and served in a number of elected offices including Maryland House of Delegates, Mayor of Baltimore, and US House of Representatives. He dropped out of the race for Maryland Governor because he did not report money he took from someone who was convicted of fraud and conspiracy. He also ran for the US Senate in 1958. That year brings us some information about Democrats, their promises and the failures of those promises.
His son, Thomas III was a politician and his daughter, Nancy Pelosi still is. That family has lived off the taxpayer (and gotten rich off them) for decades.
A friend informed me that he was cleaning out an old Maryland property he had obtained and he found a 1958 campaign flyer from D’Alesandro’s Senate campaign. On that flyer, Tommy declares (among other things) that he will end the recession and restore America to full employment, strengthen the educational system to make our children the best educated int he world, and wipe out slums, raise the standard of living, guarantee decent housing to millions of Americans who are entitled [emphasis mine] to greater opportunities.
These promises are the same ones that have been made by progressives (regardless of party) for decades. They always promise they are going to do these things and lift people out of poverty and give them what they deserve (as if you deserve something for nothing). Nancy Pelosi is no different than her corrupt daddy. He lived off the taxpayer and so does she. They live off our money and push policies to get millions of others living off the taxpayer and this is done for two reasons. It is done to keep people in poverty and to ensure votes.
These progressives have determined that they are the ruling class and that the rest of us need them in charge. This is what Obama believed as a young man growing up and he lives that out each and every day. You are not smart enough to make it on your own and you are not able to survive without your betters providing for you. We will keep giving you these things and you keep voting for us.
The uninformed are kept that way by an educational system that teaches revised history aimed at making the youth of any given day the progressive soldiers of the future. The institutes of alleged higher learning are indoctrinating those youths into radical progressives who Occupy Wall Street in the name of their slave masters.
Make no mistake about it. Our system, as designed by progressives, is designed to keep people uninformed and begging for their Obamaphones and Obamacare, their birth control and their abortions all of which are provided in exchange for votes. Illiterate people are kept that way and encouraged to breed new generations of welfare recipients who will some day vote for their handouts. Yes, these people are not Republicans or Democrats they are Gimmiedats.
Look at the brochure from 1958 (pdf file) and tell me how the promises, or the “…Things for which I Stand” part is any different from what progressives say today. There is always some underrepresented class that progressives are looking to help with their promises. The goal is to enslave these people to government so that they are always a reliable vote.
People from both parties are involved in this game and the only voices opposed are those of the truly conservative folks in Congress. There are conservatives in both parties who believe in small government and adherence to the Constitution. There are not enough of these voices because the slaves have been allowed to vote in more and more slave masters who will throw them a phone or two along the way.
The problem is that this will likely not get any better anytime soon since there is a growing number of illiterate people. Rush Limbaugh calls them the low information voters but I call them what they are, illiterate. The slaves held on plantations were denied education because education allows freedom. The educational system today is designed to produce illiterate people who are indoctrinated in progressive ideologies. They are functionally illiterate. They can’t tell the difference between right and wrong and they lack the ability to take informed choices when picking leaders.
They vote for the masters who promise them stuff. Gimmiedat!
Those of you who are happy with the government providing for you keep in mind that you are supposed to be in charge of the government, not the other way around. If you relinquish your power government will be happy to take it.

What Was In Pandora’s Box?

While the title might sound like the name of an adult movie the question involves what is inside the box opened by Democrats when they started making the claim that Romney invested money overseas. The Democrats have been harping on this issue as if Romney has done something illegal, he did not. Couple this with the thoroughly debunked claim that Romney outsourced jobs and it is easy to see that the narrative is designed to lie to people in order to keep Obama in the White House.
Debbie Wuz-a-man Schultz of the DNC had this to say:
So we can see why he’s invested in Swiss bank accounts and accounts in the Cayman Islands. And you know, we also need to know why does — what is the allure of investments out of the country. When he headed up Bain Capital, he was a pioneer in outsourcing and shipped jobs overseas. Real Clear Politics
So here Little Debbie wants us to be upset with Romney because he had money in Swiss banks and other overseas areas. She probably should have looked inward first:
Disclosure forms reveal that Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a member of Congress from Florida, previously held funds with investments in Swiss banks, foreign drug companies, and the state bank of India. This revelation comes mere days after the Democratic chair attacked presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for holding money in Swiss bank accounts in the past. Weekly Standard
Wow, that is going to hurt.
But wait, there’s more. Looks like Nancy Pelosi had overseas investments as well. She made between 1 and 5 MILLION dollars off her investments.
According to Pelosi’s 2011 financial disclosure statement, the Democratic House Minority Leader received between $1 million and $5 million in partnership income from ”Matthews International Capital Management LLC,” a group that emphasizes that it has a “A Singular Focus on Investing in Asia.” A quick trip to the company website reveals a featured post extolling the virtues of outsourcing. Wow, not only does Pelosi have her money in an overseas entity it is in a company that is involved in outsourcing…
Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett has a loan through an insurance company that does business in Bermuda.
Does any of this mean much? Not really because as far as we know none of these folks have done anything wrong. They get loans or make investments legally and as far as we know they pay the proper taxes.
BUT, and it is a big but, Romney is not going around accusing the Democrats involved of any wrongdoing. Romney and the Republicans are not putting out these kinds of claims to make it appear as if something fishy is going on.
Before the Democrats decided to engage in this kind of stupidity they should have checked their own circumstances.
The financial disclosures of all these people are publicly available. Perhaps someone should comb through them and start pointing out what kind of investments Democrats have.
Should people point out that Barack Obama made a lot of money from overseas sources through the sale of his books? Would it be fair to suggest that he did something illegal in this regard?
Should someone suggest that something was amiss because Obama received money from the Stockholm Sweden based Nobel Foundation?
Wuz-a-man Schultz further suggested that it would be nice if we had a candidate committed to America. One could make the claim that since she represents the DNC and said we she was lamenting about Obama.
I am sure she was referring to Romney and I would say that if his investments are proof to her and the Democrats that Romney is not committed to America then the foreign sources of income and investments that they have been involved in indicate that they are not committed to this country.
Whatever it takes to win is how Democrats work.
The best thing to do is to throw them out of office.
Obama must go in November and if the people of Florida are smart they will dump Little Debbie as well.
