Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/palin-email-witch-hunt-proves-fruitless/.

The Washington Post and The New York Times received about 300 pounds of paperwork that contained some of the emails from the time Sarah Palin was the governor of Alaska. The newspapers enlisted volunteers to sift through the mails in hope of revealing dirt that might be contained in those emails. Make no mistake about it, the desire was to find something to smear Palin with and this is because the liberal media must smear her to protect its puppet master in the White House.

The effort was a bust. The emails revealed thus far indicate that Palin encouraged her staff to be open with the media, she took her work seriously and that she was principled. The media made itself look like a bunch of fools in this effort.

Here is an idea, and it is just an idea. How about the government release the electronic communications of Anthony Weiner to several newspapers and those newspapers enlist an army of volunteers to sift through looking for anything to smear him with? I bet they will find a lot more stuff by going through his emails than they did going through Palin’s.

While they are at it, why not release the electronic communications from Barack Obama. It would be interesting to see what kind of dirt an army of volunteers sifting through them could find.

Of the three, Palin is the only one who is not in office and is not paid by taxpayers and yet she is the one that the left is gunning for.

I imagine Obama’s electronic communications would bear more fruit than Palin’s did.

And Weiner’s would most assuredly render more dirt than Palin’s ever would.

No, let’s ignore Weiner and go after Palin. To the Lame Stream Media, she is more worthy of such attention.

Never surrender, never submit.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/obama-a-one-man-supreme-court/.

Barack Obama has become a one man Supreme Court by instructing his Justice Department to no longer defend the Defense of Marriage Act in court. The DOMA was signed into law by Bill Clinton and it forbids federal recognition of same sex marriages.

Obama Attorney General Eric Holder said on Wednesday that the administration will not defend the constitutionality of the Defense of Marriage Act in the courts, which has banned recognition of same-sex marriage for 15 years. President Clinton signed the act into law in 1996. Newsmax

What kind of renegade administration will ignore the law because it does not think the law is Constitutional? The Supreme Court is the ultimate arbiter on the Constitutionality of a law. If Obama and his drones think that it is not Constitutional then they should defend it less vigorously and lose the issue in Court but the end game is that the court should decide.

We have three branches of government and Obama heads the Executive branch. That branch is responsible for enforcing the law. The Judicial branch decides on the Constitutionality of the laws that have been enacted through a collaboration between the Legislative and Executive branches. End of story.

Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich made valid points when they stated that this kind of act, should it stand, would allow future presidents (read Republican presidents) to decide that laws are not Constitutional and fail to defend them.

The example they both gave is to suppose a future President Palin (Rush picked her because the left goes rabid at the mention of her name) decided that Roe Vs., Wade was unconstitutional and would no longer be defended by the federal government.

Gingrich indicated the left would go absolutely bonkers and be demanding impeachment, implying that the same fate could await Obama.

The left called George Bush King George and claimed he led like some kind of king rather than president. The reality is that Barack Obama has ignored the courts (the Gulf drilling moratorium and the unconstitutional Obamacare) and now is ignoring the Constitution by failing to defend laws that have been enacted in accordance with the Constitution and acting like he is the Supreme Court.

I will not, however, equate Obama to a king.

He is acting more like a dictator…

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/gop-com-planes-about-remarks/.

Yesterday Ted Stevens, a former Senator from Alaska, was killed in a plane crash along with several other people. Amazingly, several people survived the tragedy. The liberals, once again showing their true intolerant selves, said that it would have been better if Sarah Palin had been on the place. Several Democrats in New Hampshire evidently think that the crash could have been better had Palin and Levy Johnson been on board and presumably been killed.

There’s only one way the tragic airplane crash in Alaska that ended the life of former-U.S. Senator Ted Stevens could have been better, according to New Hampshire Democratic activist and State Rep. candidate Keith Halloran: If Sarah Palin had been on it.

In a Facebook post, Halloran, who describes himself as “an active local citizen and supporter of NH Governor John Lynch,” said of the plane crash, “Just wish Sarah and Levy were on board.” Now Hampshire

This person is running for office in New Hampshire and he is not the only moron who wished Palin were on the aircraft. A staffer for current US Congressman Paul Hodes also expressed this sentiment. Hodes is currently running for the US Senate.

Of course the GOP is outraged and is demanding apologies and denouncements and all the other things political groups demand when they feel they have been wronged. First of all, good luck getting an apology from people who have no ideas that will allow them to win the debate about what is best for this country. This is why they resort to insults and death wishes.

These people selected Palin because the accident happened in Alaska but they also wish her dead because they are afraid of her. They know she is making a difference in many races and they are horrified at the thought that she could generate enough support to beat Obama in 2012. This idea was once laughed at but things have changed since Obama fell from his lofty perch. Now Palin could very well beat him and that scares Democrats so they fantasize about her being killed.

I know that many are worried about Palin but Obama should concern himself with another powerful woman. Hillary Clinton might just run against the sainted one and beat him. A lot of Democrats want to correct their mistake.

I am not upset with the remarks by these moron Democrats because this is how they really are. They do not care for open debate, differences of opinion or any other thing. They want things their way and if anyone appears to be a threat they should die.

I understand how these Democrats feel. The better thing in all of this would have been if this was a plane with every elected Democrat from Congress on it. If this were a plane with every Democrat in Congress on it flying up to Alaska on a momma grizzly bear sightseeing tour and it crashed then it would be a wonderful thing and the nation would be in much better shape. Either a Democrat with a pilot’s license would have to be flying the plane or the pilot would need to survive the crash. No sense in any innocent life being lost.

In this scenario I can only think of one instance where this would be described as a tragedy and that would be if there were any empty seats on the airplane…

I like Sarah Palin. I do not agree with everything she says but she is genuine and connects well with a lot of people. I do not know if she will decide to run in 2012 and if so, if she will actually win. Democrats know how to cheat in elections, especially when the gong gets tough.

I would love to see her run and win for no other reason than to see the Democrats go apoplectic. If Palin were to win they would be having strokes and seizures all over the place and those who were not having strokes would be booking reservations for one way tickets on planes heading out of this country.

It would also be wonderful to have Obama suffer a defeat at the hands of Palin. Imagine how the progressives would act if their messiah were to be beaten by someone they view as an uneducated boob. It would be amusing, assuming, of course, that Obama did not fly to Alaska with Democrats on a Momma grizzly bear sightseeing tour.

It would be great fun to watch.

As for the death wishes from the liberal loons, let them say what they want. They are going to experience political death in November.

And they will have Palin to blame for a lot of that.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/democrat-women-become-targets/.

Wow, I hope the use of the word target in the title does not cause progressives to become apoplectic. I would not want them to get visions of violence and start having fits about how language might incite people to do bad things. Not to worry little libs, the only violent people are on your side and the radicals in Islam.

Feminism is a movement that started a long time ago when women burned bras and demanded to be treated the same as men. Then when they were in the workplace and subject to listening to men talk they filed suits for harassment. The radical part of that movement has been largely associated with liberal women and their love the one you’re with, I can do it better, don’t hold that door for me attitudes. I bet the founders of that movement wish they had kept those bras so that their navels would not be between their breasts.

Women demanded equality. A noble cause to be sure but anything can be carried to extreme. I hold the door for people behind me no matter who they are and I have never had another man tell me he did not need me to hold a door for him. I can’t say the same about a few women I have encountered along the way. The problem is that some of these very people who demand the equal treatment whine when they get it.

Sarah Palin is a person who unites a lot of people. She either unites conservatives who agree with her or she unites the liberal/progressives who oppose anything she says and are afraid of her because she gets attention and she can influence races involving their beloved candidates. They claim not to fear her but they go out of their way to lie about her, attack her and her family, and to attack anything involving her. They do this because she scares them.

So Palin has set her sights on several Democrats in the upcoming election. She is working on getting them defeated and they don’t like that too much. Yes, several of the ones she has picked to defeat are women and they are not too happy about it.

Now it makes sense to say they are not happy. No one would be happy about being targeted for defeat but these women are upset because she is attacking other women. They feel that women in Congress get along pretty well regardless of party and that Palin, a conservative feminist, is not doing the feminist movement any good by going after the sisterhood of women. You got that? They are upset because she is going after women who have worked so hard to make it in a man’s world and that is just terrible. Women should not treat each other this way, boo, hoo.

Perhaps these women would care to chime in on how well the women in Congress get along and demonstrate how well Michele Bachmann is treated by Nancy Pelosi. Pelosi has made Bachmann the number 1 target of the Dems so I don’t see much love and cooperation there. Certainly there is not as much as the Fem-Dems claim.

Let me help them out. Listen up ladies, you all wanted equal treatment and this is what you are getting. Palin has a number of males on her list so you are treated the same as any other Democrat who needs to be removed from office regardless of sex. It is your equal treatment so quit your whining. If you don’t like it then work hard to stop it and work hard to get reelected. Work hard to dispute what Palin and her supporters will say about you and your record. Run on your abilities and your leadership. If what you have is good then you should be reelected.

Whining about another woman targeting you is not effective and does little for the feminist movement you claim to defend. It makes you look like the weaker sex. It makes it look as if you can’t handle the same heat as the men. It makes it look as if you want it both ways, equality but special treatment when it benefits you.

Buck up ladies because Sarahcuda has you in her cross-hairs.

Oops, there I go again with that talk that Bill Clinton thinks could incite violence. Funny Clinton’s name came up.

The feminist reaction to his antics helped them lose a lot of credibility.

Perhaps they secretly wanted treatment equal to Monica’s…

Never surrender, never submit.

I have never been able to figure out why the Jewish population in this country so devoutly supports Democrats. The Jews, as a group, are successful hard working people who do not require government handouts to survive. They are fairly independent minded and lead good lives. But for some reason they continue to support Democrats even though that party is the one that is tepid in its support for Israel.

The Jewish folks in Israel are not too thrilled with Obama and his regime and now it looks like some of those here are jumping ship as well. There is now a website from a group of Jewish people and it is called Jewish Americans for Sarah Palin.

Jewish Americans for Sarah Palin is an independent group of academic, religious and political leaders, dedicated to promoting consideration of Gov. Sarah Palin’s political positions in the wider American Jewish community.

We find Ms. Palin’s policy positions on Israel, Iran, national security, fiscal responsibility, energy, and social policy – as well as her record on these issues as governor of Alaska and candidate for Vice President of the United States – to be serious, substantive and politically mainstream.

The group states that the Obama policies toward Israel and the Middle East have made them reassess their alliance. I am glad they are leaving the Democrats but I can’t help wonder what took so long and why they even supported Obama in the first place. He spent 20 years in a church that preaches Antisemitism and honors the likes of Louis Farrakhan. How much more evidence was needed to show how Obama would treat the Jews?

I want to welcome my brothers and sisters in the Jewish community who have divorced the Democrats to the conservative side. We believe in you, we support Israel and we have your backs. Welcome aboard.

Who knows, maybe this was the final straw.

Marco Rubio gets it as well.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/palin-backed-the-better-choice/.

The Democrats went nuts over Sarah Palin when she was selected to be John McCain’s running mate. They still foam at the mouth at the mention of her name and they continually go out of their way to paint her as an idiot not worthy to shine Obama’s shoes. They believe she is an idiot for attending so many colleges and taking so long to complete her degree. The fact that she had to take time off to work to earn money to complete school escapes them because their affirmative action leader had a free ride (possibly as a foreign student).

Palin continues to be a thorn in their sides. She has sold more books than their sainted leader and she is doing quite well despite their attacks.

During the campaign the left made a big deal out of Palin’s support for abstinence only sex education. After it was learned that her daughter was pregnant the left used it to “prove” that abstinence education did not work. This is like saying that Ted Kennedy’s accident that killed a young woman (who was not his wife) is proof that driver’s education does not work.

But a funny thing happened on the way to the Palin bash. A new study shows that abstinence only education has better results than safe sex classes. Jack Cafferty of CNN presented the study fairly when he reported:

that only “33 percent of sixth and seventh graders who took an abstinence-only program began having sex within two years,” compared to “52 percent who were taught only about safe sex…[and] 42 percent who learned about both safe sex and abstinence,”

In true government fashion, Obama’s budget cuts funding for the most successful program of the three.

Considering what Obama and the Democrats are doing to the taxpayers we might be better off with safe sex programs…

Someone hanged Barack Obama in effigy in Plains Georgia, the town from which another clueless failed Democrat hailed. Jimmah Carter is pretty popular in Plains (as I imagine is Obama) and some miscreant hanged Obama in effigy. Some photos were snapped and then the little black doll with his name was removed. Most folks never knew it happened but the Secret Service is investigating the issue.

Someone hangs Obama in effigy and the Secret Service (SS) is investigating? This is not the first time and leader was hanged in effigy and I think the place where it was hung shows that it is symbolic of a failed president rather than a threat.

I saw these things all the time when I was in DC with the Gathering of Eagles. Leftists walked down the street with little George Bush dolls hanging in effigy. It is all part of the process and I sure don’t recall the Secret Service investigating.

I also recall that when Sarah Palin was hanged in effigy it was deemed not to be a hate crime. The police said that it was near Halloween and that people had a right to do it and all so it was no big deal. It really wasn’t a big deal except if it had been a Democrat (the referenced article even mentions that an Obama effigy would have to be investigated separately based on historical references). And now we see this is the case.

How long will it take the race baiters to claim it is racist because it involves the image of a black man and a noose?

No, someone hanged Obama in effigy to express dissatisfaction with him or his policies or both. Given that he has ticked off his base it could just as well be one of them.

No matter who it is the person or persons have rights to free expression and the Secret Service should spend its time on more constructive things like figuring out how to keep uninvited guests from entering the White House.

Some leaders don’t hang in effigy. Just ask Saddam Hussein. Oops, too late…

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/who-said-this/.

Who said these things?

A: Al-Qaeda terrorists still plot to inflict catastrophic harm on America, and he’s worried that someone won’t read ‘em their rights.

B: Now, do these folks deserve Miranda rights? Do they deserve to be treated like a shoplifter down the block? Of course not.

The answer to A is Sarah Palin at her acceptance speech in St. Paul.

The answer to B is Barack Obama in March 2009 on 60 Minutes.

So why are we now reading the terrorists Miranda Rights? Palin told us Obama was worried about it but Obama said they did not deserve them so why are we reading the Miranda Rights to the terrorists?

…For, the Obama Justice Department has quietly ordered FBI agents to read Miranda rights to high value detainees captured and held at U.S. detention facilities in Afghanistan, according a senior Republican on the House Intelligence Committee. “The administration has decided to change the focus to law enforcement. Here’s the problem. You have foreign fighters who are targeting US troops today – foreign fighters who go to another country to kill Americans. We capture them…and they’re reading them their rights – Mirandizing these foreign fighters,” says Representative Mike Rogers, who recently met with military, intelligence and law enforcement officials on a fact-finding trip to Afghanistan. [emphasis mine] The Weekly Standard

It looks like Obama paid lip service to the idea that terrorists do not deserve Miranda Rights.

It also looks like Sarah Palin was correct.

Quotes A and B from Rush Limbaugh’s website.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/democrats-blame-palin-and-others/.

Democrats are giddy at the pick up of the New York Congressional seat in the 23rd District. The talking heads last night blamed it on Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Tim Pawlenty and other conservatives who endorsed the Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman.

The blame is going around and is discussed as evidence that the Republican Party is in disarray but that is not the case. Conservatives (not necessarily Republicans) are tired of RINOs who go to Congress and side with Democrats on the issues. If a person is going to side with them it might as well be a Democrat. The endorsements were from conservatives for a conservative and it was based on ideology over party which for conservatives is country over party.

But that has not stopped the talking heads from claiming that people like Palin endorsing Hoffman hurt him and the right.

This is a lot of bunk. The disarray on the right in the New York race came from the Republicans who shoved a liberal who happens to be registered as a Republican down our throats (actually the throats of the people in the District). Since there is no primary for these kinds of special elections in New York, the party is stuck with whom other politicians select and not necessarily who the people want. The Republicans pumped money in for Scozzafava instead of backing the conservative and then were rewarded when she dropped out and endorsed the Democrat. If the Republican Party had practiced values instead of the party first mentality then Hoffman might have won.

The fact that an unknown with no political experience and who is not particularly dynamic almost won should give pause to both parties.

Interestingly, the Democrats are dismissing the losses of the governorships in Virginia and New Jersey as having nothing to do with Obama. Today they actually threw Corzine under the bus as they trashed him in order to deflect the blame.

But, if the Democrats are going to say that Palin endorsing Hoffman hurt the party then they must apply the same standard to Obama.

Obama not only endorsed the Democrats, he went to New Jersey three times and held five campaign events for Corzine in a dark blue state and the result was a loss. Obama went to Virginia to campaign for Deeds and he lost. If Palin hurt the Right by endorsing Hoffman then Obama certainly hurt the governors by campaigning for them.

The next year is going to be interesting. The Republicans need to embrace their core values and stop being Democrats lite or they will be replaced with conservatives. Democrats need to stop their abuse of government or they will lose Independents.

For Republicans it will mean a shake up of party and for Democrats it might make for a long night during the next election. There are a lot of seats in red states that are held by Democrats who won office in the anti Bush sentiment of the last two elections. They might be in real trouble if they continue taking their marching orders from Pelosi instead of their bosses.

The next twelve months are going to be very interesting.

Copyright © 2012 Blake. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/why-i-like-sarah-palin/.

Well, Sarah Palin will, after today, no longer be Governor of Alaska. I think that is detrimental to Alaska, but the Liberals who go nuts at the very thought of her had tied her hands with the ridiculous “ethics complaints”, which were nothing more than a harassment to her and her office, making the day to day operations much more difficult, and driving her into debt. Very petty, but then that is a liberal trademark- nothing is too petty, or off- limits, as evidenced by the treatment of her son, Trig, who has Down Syndrome.

Despite her popularity, or maybe because of her minimal reaction to this popularity, she has my admiration. She was literally picked up by John McCain from virtually out of nowhere- Alaska not the typical venue when looking for running mates- and thrust into the national spotlight. Oh, I admit, (and she would also) that she was not prepared, and John McCain’s people, from almost the very beginning tried to undercut her popularity in what became an in- house bloodletting that led to McCain’s defeat.

I mean, let’s get real here- Hussein did not so much win, as McCain lost. With the Republicans in disarray as they were, divided party and all, Hussein should have walked off with at least a 46 state win, especially given all the ghost voters ACORN gave him, but no- he did eke out a win, but it was truly paltry, given all the other circumstances, and the reason was Sarah Palin.

Despite the liberal bloggers, her own inexperience, and the in- fighting in the campaign end run, she brought some excitement to the race. And there are legitimate reasons for this.

One, she was, and is, a real person. She speaks sometimes too candidly, and is not as articulate as a politician with a constant teleprompter, but she says pretty much what she thinks. This can be both good and bad.

She has managed a business, unlike Hussein, who had people who would bill other people for him- how elitist. She, on the other hand, had to manage inventory, do the taxes, and handle employees and their problems, all while trying to maintain a profit. She is blue- collar, not white- collar. She pulls in the fishing nets with the other people, and does not simply stand back and opine on how hard the work is.

She has a real family, problems and all- not Stepford children. Yes they make mistakes, but then haven’t your children? If they haven’t, you have them shackled in your basement and should be investigated.

She is a charmer, but I know that she did not get her nickname “Sarah Barracuda” because it sounded funny- but because she can be tenacious.

The fact that she resigned her job as Governor of Alaska has, to some pundits, hurt her chances to be effective in any meaningful national way, but that is untrue. If that was really the case, Hussein, Emmanuel, Sebelius, and any number of Senators, Governors, Representatives, and other political hacks would have to wear that same label of quitter, as none of them finished what they began.

In Sarah’s case it was a bit different, with frivolous complaints filed virtually every day by some liberal nutjob or another over anything. It is said that a prosecutor can indict a ham sandwich in a Grand Jury room, and it is also true that anyone can file a complaint- it costs little to nothing, but every complaint has to be investigated and defended, leading to a backlog of necessary work, and distractions that meant that the work of Alaska was not being done in a timely fashion.

So she resigned. The decision was so common sense, that the logic escapes most people. This allows her the freedom to write a book, make appearances for money, and begin to build up her cash flow, which has been depleted by these ridiculous lawsuits. The business of Alaska can resume, in good hands. She is still very popular, and if she decides to re enter the field of politics, I have every confidence she will continue to scare the bejeebers out of liberals.

Because she is their worst nightmare- a conservative feminist.

Liberals just can not process that thought.

Good.
