Free At The Expense Of Others

The young liberals in this nation (and many other liberals for that matter) are thrilled right now to support Bernie Sanders, a Socialist who is three quarters of a century old. They like what he says because he promises them everything for free. Liberals love free stuff. The voters love to get free stuff and politicians love to give free stuff away.
Bernie wants college and health care (among other things) to be FREE!!!!!
[note]In this context we mean free as in at no cost. This does not include free when used to mean unrestrained or unencumbered.[/note]
The government always uses the word free. Get a cellphone for free. This poster available from OSHA for free. Get free vaccines. Get free housing, free food, free, free, free….
One problem with all this is that nothing is free. There is a cost associated with everything, the issue at hand is, who pays?
For the schemes Sanders and Clinton, and to be inclusive, O’Malley (polling at 3%), espouse the person receiving the product or service would not pay for it. It would be paid for by the taxpayer. So in reality it is not free, it is at no cost to the person.
Remember now, Obamacare was supposed to bend the cost curve and make heath care affordable. There was never a claim of free, just affordable. The reality is people are paying more now than they did before and a lot of folks are doing without because the tax/penalty is cheaper.
Bernie will fix that by making health care free. He wants single payer put in place because he is a Socialist. He wants a Medicare system in place extended to all. Medicare is the least efficient and most expensive health care system there is (a lot of cost that the free market carriers incur are not counted by government as it relates to Medicare because the costs are absorbed by government – read taxpayer).
In any event I think there should be a prohibition on the use of the word free unless it is being used to mean something other than no cost as in the hostages are free, the chicken is free range, etc. I propose that anytime a politician or government entity wants to use the word free (as in “at no cost”) they instead be required to use the term “at taxpayer expense”.
This way Bernie would have to say college will be available to you at taxpayer expense. Health care will be available at taxpayer expense. The poster would not read this is available from OSHA for free it would read this poster is available from OSHA at taxpayer expense.
We need to start calling it what it really is so the reality sets in particularly among the young generation. Don’t get me wrong, plenty of older liberals hear free and think no one has to pay for it but many of them are too far gone and only know the mantra that taxes ON THE RICH need to be raised.
The young liberals find a stark reality when they are forced to pay taxes. The young folks get out of taxpayer provided school and get jobs where they pay taxes. That is when they learn that it was not really free after all.
By that time it is too late and a system is in place that will hasten the economic collapse of this once great nation (the debt clock is at 19 TRILLION).
There is no such thing as a free lunch. If Bernie Sanders (or nearly any other politician) puts his arm around you and tells you there is protect your wallet because that is where his other hand is located….

Maryland Gun Control, Absolute Failure

We are well aware of the failures of places with tough gun control laws. Chicago has thousands of shootings this year and it is nearly impossible to legally own a firearm there. California’s gun control failure was on display in San Bernardino last week when Muslim terrorists murdered a bunch of defenseless people.
Maryland is not far behind the crowd of gun control hell holes where criminals get guns and murder people while the law abiding are denied their protected right and are treated like the criminal class.
Martin O’Malley, former governor and presidential candidate, is responsible for pushing through these restrictive and unconstitutional laws. He relished in the moment and thought it would increase his bona fides with the liberal base. O’Malley, like his fellow Democrats, called for more gun control exploiting the dead while they were still warm and before all the facts were known.
The reality is these people were defenseless because their government made them so. The reaction of those in charge is to increase security from unarmed guards to armed guards. The only folks that there was no mention of arming are those who will suffer at the hands of bad people, the citizens.
It has been nearly two years since Maryland passed all the tough gun control. Baltimore City has over 300 murders this year, most of them with firearms and there are plenty more shootings where people were only injured. Perhaps the criminals did not get the memo about gun control because they keep getting guns and they keep using them.
Case in point, the first line from a Baltimore Fox 45 (WBFF) article indicates that police have taken two more guns off the street. They arrested two men who were involved in drug distribution and each of them had a gun. The article clearly indicates that neither of them was legally allowed to possess a gun and yet, they both had one.
You see, criminals do not obey the law, period. It is against the law to murder people and yet that happens. What makes anyone think that gun control laws will keep criminals from getting guns?
In fact, the two who were arrested had 200 bags of cocaine in their possession and I know that possessing, buying, selling or using cocaine is against the law.
Anyone see a pattern here?
Gun laws only affect the law abiding and they make us sitting ducks for those who have no regard for the law or for human life.
Martin O’Malley brought this to Maryland (mostly the urban areas as most of the suburbs are full of conservative people who own guns and obey the law) and now he wants to bring it to the nation.
I have no time and no desire to be lectured about guns by people like O’Malley particularly ones who are protected by armed guards.

Democrats, Pro Choice? Not Really

Last night the Democrats held their first circus event of the campaign season as four old (and one middle aged) white people debated how to issue a death blow to the nation and finish the destruction accelerated under Obama.
These folks all discussed how to spend more money we don’t have to give away things government has no business being involved in. They want to give away free college education, free health care for illegals, and just about any other thing that will pander to the uneducated in order to secure votes while continuing our downward spiral.
[note]For those of you who support these people please tell me how these free things are going to be paid for. Please explain where the money will come from and then tell me how it is actually free…[/note]
I did notice there were not too many pro-choice folks on that stage. Oh sure, there were those who support a woman’s right to choose what to do about her pregnancy. They are all in favor of murdering children in the womb and want to spend even more taxpayer dollars to provide this service.
But nearly every one of them is not in favor of pro-choice should that choice involve firearms. I think Jim Webb is the only one there who supports the Second Amendment.
The others have varying opinions on firearms that have evolved over the years depending upon who they are pandering to (like John “Elmer Fudd” Kerry and his shotgun).
These folks discussed how to disarm law abiding citizens and eviscerate the Second Amendment. In other words, they want to deny you the right to choose to own or carry a firearm. Make no mistake about it, these people want to remove firearms from private citizens. They cannot totally control you if they do not disarm you. This has been going on for over 100 years and our protected right to keep and bear arms has been eroded over that time. If it takes them a hundred more years they will not stop until they have us unarmed and at their mercy.
They are like Islamic terrorists that way.
Martin O’Malley was up there telling everyone how wonderful he is and how he did so many wonderful things in Baltimore and in the state of Maryland. Did you see those riots? They were the culmination of policies O’Malley put in place or continued from previous liberal “leaders”. Baltimore has been run by liberals for a very long time and it is a dying city. Anyone who saw those riots and cannot connect the dots is not smart enough to vote.
O’Malley, as governor, pushed through some of the strictest gun control in the nation. He pushed unconstitutional gun laws on the state and his toadies in Annapolis assisted him. Baltimore has more shootings now than it did before the laws and crime is out of control. O’Malley wants to impose those same laws on the nation.
O’Malley, like three others on that stage, does not believe in choice when it comes to firearms. If you want to murder your unborn child then they are all about being pro-choice but if you want to own or carry a firearm to protect your child they are not pro-choice.
They only want you to have the choices they decide are good for you and that, in reality, is not choice at all.
Fortunately, we have a choice in who to vote for and anyone who cares about this nation should not vote for anyone that was on the stage in Las Vegas last night.
Those people are self-serving twits who want to rule over you. They have forgotten that the people are the government, and the people are in charge of the government.
Unfortunately, many Americans have forgotten this as well (or more likely were never taught it in the government run school system).
It is well past time to take this country back and the best way to do it (not the only way) is to run all these anti-American elitists out of politics.
And retrain their mindless zombie voters…

O’Malley Is A Typical Liberal

He likes to live off other people’s money…
I don’t know if Democrat presidential candidate (polling at about 1%) Martin O’Malley ever had a real job, you know, in the private sector, but if he did it was a long time ago. Sometime after he lied on his bar application he became a public servant which is liberal code for using the public for their own service.
O’Malley (or O’Moron as I like to call him) has lived off the taxpayer for a long time. That runs in the family as his wife draws a salary off the taxpayer as a judge (and she is following in her daddy’s footsteps of living off the taxpayer).
Liberals love to put their hands in your pockets and spend your money. O’Malley was governor of Maryland and he drove the state farther down the hole of oppression and tyranny. During his tenure he had furniture that cost the taxpayer $62,000 in a part of the Governor’s Mansion.
Interestingly it was declared junk and sold to the O’Malleys for just under $10,000.
Look, it might have been junk though I hardly think that junk would be kept in the Governor’s Mansion. But the family is a bunch of liberals so they have no respect for other people’s stuff which means they might have trashed it completely.
If it was junk it should be sold but there is a catch. There are procedures in place and they were not followed. Someone in the private sector might have wanted to bid on the stuff but there was no notification. It was labeled junk at Mrs. O’Malley’s request (curious is it not?) and then sold to them.
If it was truly junk why would the O’Malley’s want it? He is running for president for goodness sake. Does he really want people to think he buys junk because his huge salary as governor would not allow him to buy new stuff? Perhaps living off the taxpayer all these years allowed him to believe he was entitled.
Liberals are a bunch of people who believe they are entitled to the stuff of other people.
In any event, O’Moron appears to have broken the rules regarding how these things are done.
It will go largely unnoticed by the liberal media.
Funny though. Republican Governor Larry Hogan of Maryland moved his own furniture into the Mansion to make up for what was sold.
I wonder if he will be accused of stealing the furniture when he takes it with him…
Do not vote for O’Moron. He could mess up an anvil with a rubber mallet.

O’Malley NOT Fit To Be President

Can we all agree that the reason to vote for someone to be president is NOT because they are black (the first or otherwise), they are a woman or they are a midget or Muslim or any other physical characteristic? Can we all just agree that these characteristics do not make a person a leader or worthy of the position of president? Some people voted for Obama solely because he is black and he has been a disaster. Hillary wants your vote because she is a woman. Those are not traits that one should base voting on. They are things people cannot even control.
Martin O’Malley of Maryland wants to be the president. He wants to be that so he can dictate to you how to live your life. An article in the Washington Post says O’Malley is little known and not the front runner but that he would win a swimsuit contest.
The article shows O’Malley, who is in good physical shape, coming out of the Chesapeake Bay in the middle of the winter after he participated in the Polar Bear Plunge. He is in a long pair of what might be swim trunks.
Oh my, he looks dreamy so vote for him. He is such a stud and will give the half-naked Putin a run for his money in the bare chested beefcake leader department. The article is clever in that it leads people to think the WAPO wants you to forget him as a candidate and think about how great he looks. The reality is the WAPO loves him and wants your mind to think of how wonderful it would be to have this dreamy dude in the White House.
Give me a break. Being fit is not a quality that one should use to decide on the leader of this nation. O’Malley is in great shape but he violates his oath of office, violates the Constitution (of the US and of Maryland) and he is a nanny state progressive who thinks government is your mommy and daddy. Physically fit or not he is not fit to lead this nation.
[note]Sarah Palin is in great shape and the left skewered her as some kind of Bimbo. In other words, the fact that she was (and is) in great shape was not touted by the WAPO as a plus for her in the election nor should it have been.[/note]
The people of Maryland have suffered under the rule of liberal Democrats for decades. The state has high taxes, onerous laws (Maryland law allows them to tax the RAIN), and is a huge violator of our Second Amendment right. Martin O’Malley was very instrumental in all of these things. He raised taxes scores of times so he could spend the money on things government should not be involved in as part of the progressive agenda and in an effort to support illegal things (like providing for people who are in the country illegally). O’Malley and his progressive allies passed restrictive gun laws that added even more burden. Maryland had tough (unconstitutional) gun laws and O’Malley made them worse.
There are not enough negative words in the English language to describe O’Malley. He is a slug who wants to be the dictator he was in Maryland on a national level.
Reject him (and all progressives) or you will regret it (unless you are one of the slugs living off the taxpayer).
I would prefer competent leaders who follow the Constitution and I don’t care what kind of shape they are in, what sex they are, what color, religion or heritage they are or if they use tobacco products.
As long as the person is able to lead and do so following the Constitution then I am interested in taking a closer look.
Oh, and I don’t care what party the person belongs to (though I can’t imagine finding a Democrat to fit the bill)…
