Obama Clubs His Seal to Death

Barack O’Carter, Obama introduced a new seal this week. The seal was a knock off of the Presidential Seal (and might have violated the law) and Barry used it at an event. The reaction from the MSM, the right and the left was almost unanimous; the seal was ridiculous and it showed quite a bit of arrogance. It should not surprise anyone that Obama would be arrogant enough to display a seal to make him look presidential. He is arrogant and has demonstrated it in the past. This is the guy who thinks that to know him is to love him and that this is Obama country. I think he has delusions of grandeur and has bought into the idea that he is the next coming (or maybe he is the twelfth Imam). It is rather pathetic.

The seal went over like a pregnant pole vaulter and the Obama people have shelved it for now. They are probably wondering why people would be so derisive about the chosen one. While they ponder it we can add the seal to the growing list of items [David Limbaugh] he has flipped on (he was for the seal before he was against it or did he throw it under the bus). His people claim that the seal was for an event (as in a one time thing) but that is about as lame as claiming that not taking public financing is because the system is broken.

I think it is interesting to watch this guy as he moves forward. He becomes more enamored with himself as each day passes and as he does he begins to draw criticisms that were not present in the primary. The MSM has derided him on the financing issue and they went to town on the “Great Obambi Seal” which is amazing in and of itself. I think he will find that since he is the last one standing in the “Survivor Democratic Primary” game that he will no longer be able to hide his mistakes. When Hillary was there she always did something to take the attention away from him or, at least, the attention was divided. Now that he is alone at the top he will have the right wing looking at him through a microscope. If the MSM jumps in that is just a sauce for the goose.

I feel badly that Barry had to take his new toy home. I am sure he wanted to proudly display it so that he would look presidential even if he cannot act it. My good friend GM Roper has designed a new seal for Obambi and I think it is more appropriate and is worthy of being called a seal.

The Imus and Sharpton Story, Take Two

Well, here we go again with Don Imus. Yesterday on the Imus show they were discussing NFL player Adam Jones and the fact that he had been arrested six times. Imus asked what color he was and when informed that Jones was African American Imus stated; “There you go. Now we know.” Needless to say, this has set off round 2 of the firestorm with Al Sharpton declaring that this would be looked into to see if action needs to be taken. First of all, who made Sharpton the radio police? Second of all, why not wait for the rest of the story which happens to be that Imus was indicating that Jones was being picked on because he is black.

Does anyone remember Al Sharpton declaring that he would look into the comments made by Barack Obama when Obama said that his grandmother was a typical white person? No one can remember such a thing because it did not happen. None of the race baiting poverty pimps decried Obama’s comments and when a stink was made about the issue Obama and his people gave an explanation and it was bought by everyone who has fallen under his spell. No protests from Sharpton, no demands that Barry step down and I think that Sharpton even accused Obambi of schmoozing up to the whites too much.

Whether Imus meant it as he says or not is only known to Imus but the fact is he stated that is what he meant and that is how it should be taken. Sharpton has no right to look into anything to begin with but now this should stop him in his tracks. Sharpton has no moral authority in race relations. He is a race baiter who overlooks acts of racism by black people and exploits any possibility of racism from whites. Al has incited violent riots where people have been killed (if it had been my family member there would be no Al Sharpton) and he has continually made racial issues out of nothing. Duke rape case, Jena six, and countless other issues were incited and inflamed by him and he moved on leaving the embers to burn. When the issues were settled and no racism existed, he did not apologize, he made excuses and still linked it to racism.

I understand that there are those who will say that Imus has a history so his acts need to be looked at. Well, Barack Obama has a racist history and his associations with people like Pastor Wright (who was also ignored by Sharpton) as well as Father Pfleger leave him open to the same scrutiny. I would think that Obambi’s associations with Al Sharpton would be considered a racist history.

Of course Al and his lemmings cannot go after Barry O. He is a brother and he might be president some day. We all know black people cannot be racists and Al cannot take them to task because of slavery oh so long ago. As an aside, Al and Barry seem to be doing pretty well for people who are still oppressed by the scars of slavery.

I know Al will never go after a black guy and will concentrate on any white who he thinks has offended in even the most remote way. But Al, Barry Obama is half white and given your hatred for white people I would think you’d at least pick on Barry half the time.

Regardless of how Imus meant it, the bar has been set and he should be left alone.

Obama is a Uniter, not a Divider…not Quite

One of John McCain’s advisers made the comment that another terrorist attack on the United States would be helpful to the Republican Party. While this is completely true it is also tasteless and in bad form. Having said that, I don’t think the guy, Charlie Black, meant that he wanted to see one so Republicans could reap a benefit. I can’t speak for him but any person who wishes we get attackd again should be sent to Gitmo, oh wait, the SCOTUS said we had to release people from there. I never wish for us to get attacked but if we do I hope it is in an area where people are anti war and protest our troops, like say Berkeley.

After the comment was made a spokesperson for Barry O Bam Bam chimed in:

Obama spokesman Bill Burton said in a statement: “The fact that John McCain’s top adviser says that a terrorist attack on American soil would be a ‘big advantage’ for their political campaign is a complete disgrace, and is exactly the kind of politics that needs to change. Barack Obama will turn the page on these failed policies and this cynical and divisive brand of politics so that we can unite this nation around a common purpose to finish the fight against al-Qaida.” My Way News

Barry will turn the page on divisive politics. Let’s see, Barry accused the Republican Party of being racists who will launch racist attacks on him, his people claimed that people in West Virginia did not vote for him because they are racists, he did not allow Muslim women with scarves in a photo of him, and he was dismissive of Hillary Clinton’s supporters. Add to that his endless line of anti American associates (you can find them under the bus) and it is hard to see exactly how he is turning a page on divisive politics. Hopey can talk a real good game (if he has a teleprompter) but he is not new, he is not fresh and he is not some revolutionary figure. He is a political hack who has schemed for his next office as soon as he was elected. He is inexperienced and offers a resume so short it could be a fortune cookie (you have hope and change, lucky numbers 2008).

I am absolutely certain that Charlie Black does not want America to be attacked again even though he is correct that such an attack would shine a lot of light on the inadequacy of the Democrats with regard to national security. However, thanks to the job that George Bush has done here at home and our troops have done overseas, we have not been attacked and it is unlikely we will during the rest of his term. Muslims all over the world are endorsing Barry O Bam Bam and they want a man they consider a brother to be elected. They have to know another attack here would all but wipe that chance out.

No, we don’t have to worry about America being attacked in the short term, but if next year we are using the words “President Obama”, we will need to worry and worry a lot.

Obama Throws Race into the Race

Barack Hussein Obama has thrown race into the general election by claiming that Republicans will work to cause fear about his funny middle name, his inexperience and, oh he is black. This is a slick tactic because Obama has lumped his extreme lack of experience with two issues that most people, including Republicans, find inconsequential. No one cares about his color and his middle name is just something to have fun with, so by putting experience with them he is telling people that it does not matter either.

“It is going to be very difficult for Republicans to run on their stewardship of the economy or their outstanding foreign policy,” Obama told a fundraiser in Jacksonville, Florida. “We know what kind of campaign they’re going to run. They’re going to try to make you afraid.

“They’re going to try to make you afraid of me. He’s young and inexperienced and he’s got a funny name. And did I mention he’s black?” al-Reuters

Barry O Bam Bam is the one who has thrown race into the issue. By mentioning it he has given himself and his supporters license to question ANYTHING as racist if it is unfavorable to their Messiah. He raised the race issue for this very reason. He wants to be able to incite people and infuriate them because of race. Keep in mind that the Republican Party has engaged him very little so far. He has been in an extended primary and all the racist attacks came from Democrats. The truth is, many of them were from Obama supporters and people he considered his friends and mentors. His pastor has used more racial BS during this season than most others will and certainly more than any Republican.

Obama eased into this tact by claiming Republicans would not be able to to defend their stewardship of the economy or outstanding foreign policy. The economy is not that bad. It is certainly not as bad as everyone on the left makes it out to be. The major issue that people see and relate to the economy is the cost of gasoline. The Democrats are the reason we are paying so much for gas. They refuse to lift the moratorium on drilling and they (including the RINO John McCain) refuse to allow drilling in one of the most barren places on the planet. It is the Democrats who are the economic disasters in this country. If Bill Clinton had signed the ANWR drilling into law we would have been getting oil from there right now. The economy cannot be very bad because Obambi does not take money from PACs, special interests and lobbyists (that is what he says) so how is it he has raised $250,000? How could all those poor Democrats afford so much money in such a bad economy?

As for foreign policy, the first and most important thing a President can do is ensure that we are safe. We have not been attacked since 9/11 and if the methods we used to ensure this rankle other countries then too bad. The foreign policy of appeasement and cowardice is what caused 9/11 and it was a Democrat who gave that to us. Obama will follow the same path. Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, and Clinton are names associated with incidents that tested this country and showed us as weak. Cuban Missile Crisis, Vietnam, Iran Hostage Crisis, and Somalia were brought to you by Democrats. What disaster will Obama’s policy of appeasement bring to our country. Will another Republican have to follow a Democrat and clean up the mess?

I will not vote for Obama and it has nothing to do with his color. I do not agree with his policies and I do not believe in his politics so that is why I will not be voting for him. Skin color is not something I would use to decide on who I will vote for though there are many blacks (some of them Republicans) who might vote for Obambi just because he is black. I hold my principles in a higher regard than to vote for someone who I think will be bad for my country. I took and oath to protect and defend this nation against all enemies foreign and domestic. My allegiance is to the country and the Constitution and my votes always reflect who I think will be the best steward of those two things.

If that makes me a racist then so be it.

UPDATE: From American Thinker [Clarice Feldman]: LTC Allen West released this in reference to Obama’s statement.

My advice to Senator Obama is to run as a Man and Leader, and the American people will evaluate you as such, not as a victim. This is a Presidential race, based solely on a capacity to lead the United States of America. It is not about skin tone…however, perhaps we should come to expect these immature statements.

It also seems rather humorous that the Presidential candidate who was supposed to be such a “uniter” and transcend race is the one talking about it the most. If Senator Obama was confident in his abilities and character, he would not need to create a crutch for failure. Senator Obama has just tipped his hand, any criticism of him and his policies will be directly attributed to racism. I congratulate Senator Obama for taking race relations in America back some 30 years.

LTC West is running for a Congressional seat in Florida’s 22nd District.

Democrats See Republican Racists Everywhere

Recently, the Texas Republican Party held an event which included vendors. One of those vendors was selling a button that read “If Obama is President, will we still call it the White House?” The reaction from the left was immediate and of course, reactionary. As soon as they saw it they cried racism and painted all Republicans with the broad brush of racism. Now, I think the button was inappropriate and should not have been sold there but I don’t hold the Texas GOP responsible. They do not vet merchandise and after they were made aware of it they cut off that vendor and will not allow him to sell at their events in the future.

This little fact escapes the morons who jumped all over it and labeled all Republicans as racists. I have gone to some of the sites and the comments are simply outrageous and they demonstrate that many people on the left are not very well educated about the history of this country and the Republican Party which, by the way, ended slavery and supported and passed the Civil Rights legislation of the 1960s over harsh Democratic opposition. Yes, read that again. A larger majority of Republicans supported the legislation and quite a few more Democrats opposed it. Tell me again which party is racist. The Republican Party is the one that ended slavery and yet Republicans are branded as racists.

This is a huge mystery to me because it is not the Republican Party that currently has, and has had in the past, members of the KKK in it. Robert Byrd of West Virginia is a Democrat who is revered in Democratic circles. He was a member of the KKK. I wonder how many black people he terrorized. I wonder how many he helped lynch and I wonder why he is loved by Democrats. David Duke of Louisiana was in the KKK. He is a Democrat (though he also ran as a Republican) and he served in state government. From the comments I read one would never know that it was the Republican Party that made black people free and that we passed civil rights. No, according to those who have nothing bad to say about Byrd, every person who is a Republican is a racist.

I made a big stink about the anti Semitic items on Obama’s website. My complaint was that the items had been up there for several months and that the campaign was removing them and trying to delete any cached items so that it would appear they never existed. If Obama is all about open and honest, as he claims, he should have come clean and stated that they were found and removed. My post led to comments about the fact that anyone could write on Obama’s site if they had an account and that it was wrong to blame Obama for what others wrote (I knew the first and never claimed the second). I did allude to the fact that Obama does not seem to care for Jews which is my perception and evidently the perception of a lot of the Jewish community. Might explain why Bloomberg spoke favorably about Obambi to a Jewish group.

I read similar responses to Obama’s website content across the Internet. People claimed that he should not be held accountable for what others stated on his website. If we are to hold that as true, and the left evidently does, how do they find it acceptable to call all Republicans racist and to blame the Texas GOP for the action of ONE vendor? It seems like a double standard, say it isn’t so! No, it does not seem like it, it is. Meatbrain painted all Republicans (what he meant by “these people”) with that broad brush and Wonkette said that the button was worn by everyone at the convention. I don’t want to call Wonkette uninformed but the vendor said he made 12 of them and only sold 4 and 2 of those were to reporters. This is what happens when hysteria takes over for logical thought.

Isn’t it amazing that the people on the left cry foul and say it is unfair to make Obama guilty by association for all his past contacts (Wright, Pfleger, Rezko, Ayers, et al) and yet they will paint all Republicans as guilty because a vendor was at their convention? Four buttons were sold and two were to news reporters so obviously not a lot of Republicans were wearing them.

I want to ask a question. If a vendor who had not been vetted sold buttons at the Texas Republican Convention which displayed a message with racial overtones makes all Republicans racist, what would we say about all Obama supporters if the vendor turned out to be someone who says he might vote for Obama?

“We’re into humor, not racism,” said Alcox, who described himself as an independent who may vote for Obama in November. “Why would I do that purposely? I thought it was funny.” [from the above linked Yahoo story]

I mean, if he is an Obama supporter then that must mean all Obama supporters are racists.

As Obama would say, That is not the button vendor I knew.
