McCain Has Military Experience to Question, Obama Does Not

Retired General Wesley Clark, a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party and in particular Barack Obama, has questioned John McCain’s military credentials. Clark stated that McCain has not held a position with executive responsibility and stated that John McCain never led troops into combat. John McCain has stated that he led the largest fighter squadron in the US Navy but Clark asserts that is not enough to serve as Commander in Chief. Clark stated that McCain never ordered the bombs to drop and that flying in a fighter jet and getting shot down does not qualify him to be president.
Fair enough, but then the question would have to go to what qualifications Barack Obama has to lead the country as the President. Clark answered that Obama had been a community organizer in Chicago (and all those communities are boarded up) and that he also served eight years in the Ilinois Legislature and that Barry was running on strength and character.
Notice nowhere in there did Clark state that Obama had any military service. If Clark wants to discuss the quality of military service and whether or not it qualifies one to lead the country then certainly he needs to look at a person who has NO military experience and acknowledge that since Obama never served he is even less qualified than than McCain to serve as Commander in Chief. The quality of McCain’s service is being assailed by Clark but McCain has the military service and has forgotten more about the military than Obama will ever know. I really don’t think this is a battle that Clark and the Obama campaign wants to pick since McCain has more military knowledge in his little finger than Obama has in his entire body. If they want to contrast qualities to serve as Commander in Chief then I think Obama is going to lose. Perhaps John McCain never led troops is some fashion that satisfies Clark but Obama never led troops period.
As for the idea that serving as a community organizer somehow qualifies as executive experience, Clark needs to take a drug test because only a drug addled brain could make such a claim. It is absolutely outrageous that Wesley Clark could dismiss John McCain’s military service and all his years of public service as insufficient experience to run this country but in the same breath claim that serving as a community organizer and spending eight years in a state legislature qualifies Obama. What is even more amazing is that Clark said that Obama is running on his strength of character and his good judgment.
Well hell, I feel a lot better now. Obama is running on strength of character and good judgment. Whew, for a minute I was worried he might not have actual experience that would qualify him to lead the country.
I guess this good judgment is all relative. I mean, was it good judgment for Obama to attend a church that espoused hatred for America and blamed white people for all the ills of society and to stay there for twenty years? Was it good judgment for Obama to work a shady deal with Tony Rezko (which Obama admitted was bad judgment), and to keep company with a known domestic terrorist? Obama has said “[fill in name] is not the person I knew so many times it is a soundbite by itself. If good judgment is the standard by which we establish executive experience then it seems as if Barry Obama fails miserably.
Obama has some very shady associations and some of the tactics he has used to gain political office (at all levels) are suspect and they leave one to question this strength of character Clark claims qualifies him to be president.
Wesley Clark served honorably in Vietnam and was wounded in the line of duty. I would never disparage his service to this country because I have more tact and honor than he does (though I have questioned some of the things he has done while in the service and on the campaign trail). His service gives him great insight but he is not qualified to judge the quality and character of John McCain’s service. It is tactless and dishonorable to do so. I would venture to say that McCain’s time in a POW camp allowed him to demonstrate more character and sound judgment than Obama ever has.
General Clark, you certainly have a right to bring up McCain’s military service and to claim it does not pass your muster as qualification to serve as Commander in Chief but when you are doing that please keep in mind that Obama has NO military experience and that fact, by default, makes him less qualified than McCain to serve as Commander in Chief.
The empty suit has surrogates using an empty resume to show experience. Well, at least he still has good judgment and strength of character….Not.

Bill Clinton wants a Smooch from Obama

I wrote yesterday about the public meeting between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in Unity New Hampshire. I believe that Obama needs Clinton voters and Clinton needs Obama money and outside of that they have no use for each other. There are those who claim they are friends but I think that associates would be a more apt description and now that Hillary, who believes the presidency is her birthright, has been beaten by Obama, she has no use for him and anyone associated with him except to get her debt paid.
I also pointed out that Bill Clinton was not happy with the results and that he would not actively support Obama. If he did do anything for Obama it would not be with the enthusiasm he would have had if Hillary had won. He wants Obama to lose so Hilary can run in 2012.
There is a story out in the Telegraph UK that indicates Bill Clinton is still extremely bitter (does he cling to religion and guns) and that he continues to be condescending toward Obama and says Obama cannot win. There are reports that Clinton, who is upset that his reputation suffered, has shocked friends by his blatantly bitter attitude. Mr. Clinton reportedly said, to his friends, that Obama would have to “kiss my ass” if he wants his support. Clinton seems to have this thing about people’s lips being below his waistline.
We have heard that Bill Clinton holds a grudge (as does his wife) a long time and that they can be ruthless to those who are seen as disloyal to them. There were a lot of old Clinton people who jumped on the Obama bandwagon early on and I know that irritated them to no end. Bill Richardson was one who Bill found particularly upsetting. If Hillary ever makes it to the White House then there are a lot of people who will have absolute hell to pay.
It was amazing to see how so many people who thought the Clintons walked on water threw them overboard so quickly in order to latch on to the empty suit. The Clintons have a hit list of people who need political payback and they cannot wait to unleash their fury.
Given the number of former Clinton supporters who jumped ship early, I imagine Obama might have to get in line to give that kiss.

The Only Unity Was the Town’s Name

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama had a unification meeting in a place called Unity, New Hampshire where they pretended to bury the hatchet in order to bring the party together in a big effort to beat John McCain in November. The two have not been together since about a month ago when Clinton suspended her campaign and vowed to help Obama win. I did not believe her then and I do not believe her now.
The Clintons are sore losers and the idea that an inexperienced, first term Senator with nothing more than the gift of gab could beat them is grating on their nerves. Bill Clinton has taken to other tasks rather than be involved in anything where he has to discuss the recent primary because he usually says things that sound more like sour grapes than thoughtful analysis. He went to a party for Nelson Mandella where he barely acknowledged the existence of Oprah Winfrey, a person with whom he once had a good friendship. She backed Obama and he did not like that. Bill might say he will support Obama but he will not work too hard to do it.
A large number of Clinton supporters are saying they will not back Obama and though I am sure that number will decrease by the time election day rolls around, there will still be a number of them who will stay home or will vote for McCain. Obama needs the Hillary supporters if he is to stand a chance of winning so he gains from the uncomfortable relationship with the Clintons.
Hillary Clinton has about 20 million dollars in campaign debt that she needs retired (and God knows she does not want to spend her own money to do it) so she needs the Obama campaign and its money to help settle the bills. She will play along with this uncomfortable pairing in order to get her bills paid. She will even give the appearance of being a good little storm trooper and going along with the Obama nomination but she (or more likely her surrogates) will be working in the background to help get Obama defeated. Hillary would love to see Obama lose (and the worse he loses the better) so she could say “I told you so” to the DNC and run in 2012.
But Hillary needs to be careful. She needs to give the appearance that she is supporting Obama and that she wants to defeat McCain. Any member of the Democratic plantation who utters anything that goes against the grain will be met harshly. Ask Debra Bartoshevich, a national delegate who supported Clinton but has not consumed the Obama Kool Aid. She stated that she would vote for McCain in November and now she is no longer a delegate. Hillary cannot cross the gods at the DNC (more than she has by dragging out the primary) and she certainly cannot give he appearance of screwing over Obama until her debt is paid and the convention is over, but her people can work behind the scenes.
I have no doubt in my military mind that the Clintons want Obama to lose and to lose badly. I also have no doubt that Obama wants the Clintons to just keep quiet and not help “too much.” In any event the Unity meeting was nothing more than a facade to bring all the other little Dems into line and get them to vote for Obama. They might talk like friends but there are still a lot of bitter feelings (more so on the Clinton side) and there will always be discomfort when they are together.
Keep this in mind little Democrats, the Clintons do not want Obama to win but they do not want to appear as if they are destroying the party. They will work in the background to squash Obama and his presidential aspirations.
The only thing that had anything to do with Unity during the meeting is the name of the town where they met.

BET Stars; Vote Obama Cause He’s Black

It is interesting watching things unfold with regard to the presidential aspirations of Barack Obama. He is the first person to cry racism (oh yeah, he is black) and his supporters love to claim that white people who do not vote for him are racist while ignoring the fact that many blacks are voting for him simply because he is black. This will be one of the themes, vote Obama so we can have a black president. The people who espouse this are voting for a person based on color rather than qualification.
At the Black Entertainment Television (is there a WET) music awards Sean Combs told the crowd that if they all registered they had the chance to vote in the first black president. It seems to me that this narrow minded thinking is racist from the start but also dangerous in that Combs wants people to put color ahead of any other real qualifier. If people actually support Obama because they think he is qualified and can do the job then fine but it seems to me that is not the message. Vote for Obama because he is black. Did you notice that we never hear them saying vote for Obama because he is qualified?
Rapper David Banner told reporters that for the first time they could vote for someone who is not part of the good ole boy (who you calling boy) system. First of all, this is a lie. Obama is part of the Chicago political system and he is definitely a DC insider who pretends not to be. He is a good ole boy and has the establishment’s backing.
The obvious racial pandering and overt racism is ignored by those in the MSM who portray Obama’s support among blacks as some sign that they all agree with him. In reality, half of them have no clue and the only thing they see is a black man. Since blacks get a pass on racial remarks it is OK for someone like Combs to say to vote for Obama because he is black.
Imagine if someone got on stage and said to vote for McCain because he is white…
I predict that if Obama loses in November we will see race riots and we will hear the cries of racism in America. There will be particular hell to pay if he wins the popular vote and loses the electoral vote (what I think will happen). There will be rioting.
If Obama loses it will not be because he is black. It will be because he is inexperienced (technically, he is qualified).

Obama’s 527 Ad, Lil Alex

MoveOn.org, one of those 527 groups Obambi swears is going to play dirty with regard to his funny name, color and inexperience (the only concern of the three) has put out an ad but that ad is disparaging to John McCain. I guess Obamaessiah forgot to tell MoveOn that it was the right who would be doing the hit jobs.
In the ad a mother is holding a baby and she states:
“Hi, John McCain. This is Alex. And he’s my first. So far his talents include trying any new food and chasing after our dog. That, and making my heart pound every time I look at him. And so, John McCain, when you say you would stay in Iraq for 100 years, were you counting on Alex? Because if you were, you can’t have him.”
Bill Kristol already pointed out the obvious like McCain will not be in office when the kid is old enough to serve, that our military is an all volunteer force and that McCain never said we would be fighting in Iraq for 100 years. That matters little to the idiots who produced the ad and the saps who will slobber all over it. I decided that I should add a few lines here and there to make this more accurate.
How about if it started off with “Hi John McCain, this is Alex. He is my first to be born because I aborted the others. They were a nuisance.”
I wonder if the ending would be better if it was; “Were you counting on Alex? Because if you were, you can’t have him. I don’t mind murdering my children in the womb but I will not let them die defending the country that gave us so much.”
Or maybe, “”Were you counting on Alex? Because if you were, you can’t have him. I raised him to have a sense of entitlement and he knows that he does not need to defend America because she is a capitalist country that deserves to be defeated. I want my little boy to grow up just like my hero Bill Clinton in that I want Alex to shun military service so some other kid can get sent in his place. My boy is not going to give back to this country, that is what the uneducated do, just ask John Kerry.”
Maybe she could just end by saying she is going to raise him to be a homosexual so he understands diversity and knows the love of a good man, something his mother never knew because those pregnancies and abortion costs got in the way. “You can’t have him because he is a flamer and does not believe in don’t ask, don’t tell. Besides, all that hard work will break his nails.”
Here is my response to the ad. Look lady, we don’t need your kid. If you want to raise him to be ashamed of his country and not to take responsibility for the safety and well being of this great nation you are entitled to do just that. He will not have to enlist and there is no draft so unless you know something the rest of us don’t why don’t you shut your pie hole. Don’t worry about your son’s safety, better men than he will ever be will stand watch to ensure the wolves don’t get in. Men he will wish he could be will do harm on a moment’s notice to ensure your little child is protected and makes it to adulthood. On the off chance he decides to join the service don’t worry about him. He made it out of a liberal’s womb which is the most dangerous place in the world for a child. Over 40 million of them never made it out alive so he got the hard part out of the way.
The people who agree with this ad are the ones who live their lives under the blanket of freedom and safety provided by our military. They will never truly understand freedom because they have no appreciation for our country. To those who fight for it ever day, life has a special meaning the protected (like lil Alex) will never understand [author of quote unknown].
Only in America could a foreign schmuck like George Soros gain so much wealth and then use it against our country only to be hailed by the left as a wonderful guy.
*The 527 does not belong to Obama. It is working for his victory so the ad is for Obama.
