Another Reason NOT to Vote For Brown In MD

Anthony Brown is the Lieutenant Governor of Maryland and he is running to replace outgoing failure Martin O’Malley. Brown is a Democrat and he has pushed for typical liberal policies that hurt people and make them slaves of government.
Anthony Brown wasted MILLIONS of dollars on the Maryland version of the Obamacare website. It was an absolute failure and he owned it because that was his responsibility. The local media has not challenged Brown over this lack of leadership.
Brown’s largest assets, it seems, are that he is a veteran and he is a Democrat. These are the only things people seem to know about him because he does not spend time telling us what he will do. No, he spends time lying about his opponent.
Brown is a disgrace and an oath breaker. In a rare instance where Brown actually said something he would do it turns out that thing is to violate people’s rights. Brown was a big proponent of Maryland’s Draconian gun control laws. They violate the Constitution and they infringe on the rights of law abiding citizens and Brown, a veteran who swore to protect and defend the Constitution, is all in for the gun laws. Brown put an editorial in the Baltimore Sun stating that he would enforce the gun safety law.
First of all, the law is not about safety. It is about infringing. The law bans specific types of weapons incorrectly identified as assault weapons and it bans the sale or transfer of standard capacity magazines. The law does nothing for safety because it is not designed to make us safe. It is designed to control us.
It is moronic. Brown claims that assault weapons were banned. It bans the AR 15 (the most popular firearm in the country) if it has a standard barrel BUT if it has a heavy barrel one can purchase it and walk out of the store with it (after passing a background check). The HBAR is no less deadly than the one that is banned. The AR 10 is in the same boat as the HBAR and it fires a bigger caliber bullet. People can still buy magazines with capacities larger than 10 in other states and bring them here. There are probably hundreds of thousands of them (if not millions) in the possession of gun owners and they last a very long time.
Brown will violate his oath to uphold an unconstitutional law that infringes on OUR rights and he proud that he will do so.
Brown is a supporter of a woman’s “right” to an abortion and will do anything to make that as easy as possible while he works to restrict the God given right to keep and bear arms and only one of those two things is responsible for the death of millions of children (clue to liberals, it is not the firearms). He is a disgrace and he should NEVER be governor of Maryland.
Anthony Brown is weak. He is a disgrace as a politician and he is a disgrace to the uniform he once wore. He is liar and he is a loser. How he ever made it in the Army is beyond me. He is a liberal hack who is hell bent on continuing the liberal policies that have ruined Maryland.
Maryland barely survived the idiot O’Malley and his unconstitutional regime. The last thing we need is his idiot underling taking over.

Another Judge Without A Clue

Imagine if a judge declared that you were only allowed to buy one book a month and that 12 books a year is more than enough. Also imagine that in addition to the limit on the number of books the judge allowed to stand a rule that some books were banned and in order to buy your books you had to go through an extensive and expensive background check and obtain a license to buy the books. Now imagine that once you satisfied these demands you had to (re)register your books every three years.
Sounds like an infringement on your right to participate in free speech. The government is not allowed to ban books or require you to register to buy them. The First Amendment allows people to sell even the vilest pornography and allows you to buy them (reasonable age restrictions aside).
A federal judge upheld a D.C. law requiring guns to be registered every three years, the requirement for fingerprints and photographs of the purchasers/owners and the limit of one handgun purchase per month.
Judge James Boasberg dismissed the challenge to these Draconian (and unconstitutional) laws. It seems that this judge feels it is his duty to decide what protects society and then rule based on his opinion. I am no legal scholar but it seems to me that a judge is required to rule based on the Constitutionality of the issue in question.
People in D.C live in one of the strictest places with regard to gun laws and, like their restrictive allies in places like Chicago, suffer the highest rates of crimes committed with guns. D.C. is not safer because of these gun laws and the way this judge handled the case shows not only he is a disgrace to the bench but he also has no concept of reality.
I am pretty sure how he would have ruled had the case been the scenario I described above and I am absolutely certain how he would have ruled if this case were about restrictions on abortions instead of guns.
The Second Amendment is part of the Constitution and the history regarding the inclusion of that Amendment leaves no doubt what the Founders wanted when they included it.
Unfortunately, we now live in a society where people like this judge dishonor our Founders by violating their oath in the name of feel good (though ineffective) laws that infringe on our very rights.
My advice to people in D.C is to move outside the city limits (but not to Maryland, another Socialist nightmare) to escape the tyranny.
Escape the tax burden and unchain the shackles of tyranny and be free.

Feinstein And The Other Oath Breakers

Senator Dianne Feinstein of Commiefornia has introduced her anti Second Amendment bill and in that bill she and several other oath breakers list 150 different firearms that they want banned. Her anti American bill also calls for a national registry ala Adolph Hitler and most other dictators.
Feinstein introduced this bill and the national registry provision would violate Public Law 99-308, the Firearms Owner’s Protection Act, which prohibits a national database. This law was the result of documented abused by the ATF in enforcing the Gun Control Act of 1968.
That should come as no surprise since the attempt to ban firearms is in and of itself, unconstitutional as it violates the Second Amendment.
Keep in mind, Feinstein had her own carry permit because she was threatened with harm. She had one while claiming other women do not need to have firearms because women are not strong enough to use these machines of destruction.
She was joined by Chuck Schumer of New York, another gun grabber who has a New York carry permit AND has armed officers surrounding him when he is in New York.
Banning firearms will not stop the next lunatic from shooting people because criminals and those who have mental health problems will not follow the law. They will still be able to get firearms, banned or not, and they will still be able to get magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. These are facts and have been demonstrated time and again. The Columbine shootings happened in the middle of the last “assault weapons” ban so it would appear as if the ban did not work.
It is important to emphasize the point that laws do not keep criminals from doing bad things. The overarching thing to remember when it is reported that someone murdered people with a gun is that MURDER IS ILLEGAL. If laws against murder are not obeyed what makes anyone think laws banning the instruments used by criminals will be obeyed?
The very people who want to ban firearms are against the death penalty. They claim that the death penalty does not deter crime. That is an issue for another time but someone please tell me, if the death penalty is not a deterrent how will a gun ban deter criminals from using guns to do bad things?
This whole anti American bill from Feinstein and her cohorts is nothing but a move to further control people’s lives. Millions of gun owners do not commit crimes each day but they suffer for the criminals who do.
We have not banned banks to prevent bank robberies. We have not banned cars or alcohol to prevent drunk driving. We have not banned forks to prevent obesity but somehow banning guns will prevent gun crime.
Gun control is not about guns, it is about control.
