Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/the-weekend-wrap-up/.

Oil Waivers Still Flowing

The Obama regime issued a waiver for the oil rig that exploded and spilled thousands of gallons of oil into the Gulf. The government had a plan in place to handle it but did not have the equipment needed to carry out the plan even though it has been in place since 1994. Not to worry, the regime has issued 27 additional waivers for oil companies in the Gulf.

Since the Deepwater Horizon oil drilling rig exploded on April 20, the Obama administration has granted oil and gas companies at least 27 exemptions from doing in-depth environmental studies of oil exploration and production in the Gulf of Mexico. McClatchy

Maybe these waivers have something to do with all the money Obama has gotten from companies like BP…

Obama Rode In On A High Horse But Is Now On A Pony

Looks like Obama rode into Colorado during the Democratic Convention looking like a Greek ruler who could take the world and now will lose seats in that state because of his policies:

Republicans are now well positioned for a statewide resurgence, threatening several Democratic seats in the midterm elections and raising questions about whether the opening chapter of the Obama administration has eroded gains that Democrats had been making here for the previous six years. New York Times

Seems that a lot of people are waking from the contact buzz they had with Mr. Hope and Change and are beginning to realize he is just another hack politician who cannot do what he said but is pushing us toward Socialism. The November elections will be key to stopping him.

More Bad Election News And News Of Diminishing Support For Democrats

Obama might lose the seat Murtha held as people become even more disgruntled with Democrats. If the May 18th special election is close, even if the Democrat wins, it will be a statement because the district is 2:1 Democrats over Republicans. Alan Mollohan of West Virginia could be in trouble as well. He has been around for quite a while but might be unemployed come November.

To top it off, Obama has lost half the support he had among Jewish voters. He went from 78% to about 40%. Looks like this traditionally Democrat voting block is seeing the light and is now realizing that Obama does not really care too much about Israel. He is more concerned about the Muslim countries than he is about our only ally there in the Middle East.

Obama Derides Modern Electronics And Access To Information

Barack Obama lamented the modern electronic devices that provide 24 hour news coverage and tons of information. Obama said these things were distractions and made people focus on minute things rather than the important ones.

“With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, — none of which I know how to work — information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation. AFP

First of all, this is amazing since this regime is full of people who know how to throw a lot of BS around in order to keep people from getting too far in the weeds on the important stuff. Second of all, Obama claims that he does not know how to use any of this stuff but I find it hard to believe. One thing is for sure though, he knows how to use his Blackberry, which he is addicted to.

And let us not forget that Obama advertised in video games during the last presidential election.

Looks like things are getting pretty dicey for the Democrats. People are waking up. Also looks like Obama is learning what it is to have a real job with real pressures. I wonder how long he will keep blaming Bush?

Michelle: Barack honey, I’m pregnant.

Barack: BUSH DID IT!!!!!!

Never surrender, never submit.

Copyright © 2012 Blake. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/murtha-does-business-with-druggies/.

Rep. John Murtha, you know the guy with the “Airport to Nowhere”, the same Representative who calls his own constituents “Rednecks and Racists”, just keeps on digging himself deeper, although this situation is not a new one, just recently revealed. But the roots of his newest troubles go back at least fourteen years, as he has steered over 50 million dollars to a firm that allegedly does some sort of work for the Defense Department. That is not necessarily the problem, but the owners of this “business” are convicted felons with a past replete with drug convictions.

Before Bill Kuchera produced electronics and robotic equipment for the Pentagon, he helped run thousands of pounds of marijuana and some cocaine from Miami to sell in Racine, Wis., according to criminal records and accounts of others involved in the drug operation. Bill Kuchera pleaded guilty to a single and lesser felony distribution charge in 1982 after cooperating witnesses implicated other Kuchera family members in helping store drugs at the family home. Ron Kuchera and the boys’ parents were never prosecuted.

Childhood friend Peter Whorley suggested to Bill that he could make more if they teamed up to run marijuana from Miami, according to court and criminal records.

Business was lucrative until Whorley and Bill Kuchera were arrested in 1981, Wisconsin criminal records show. They were sentenced to several years in federal prison. Kuchera served 11 months.

washingtonpost.com

After the drug convictions, Bill Kuchera worked as a clerk until he asked his uncle if he could enter the family business, Kuchera Industries. This act of kindness by Bill’s uncle would later prove that no good deed goes unpunished.

“He said, ‘I want to make a fresh start,’ ” Michael Kuchera said. “He was family, and I wanted to help. I made him my full partner: 50-50.” The uncle put Bill in charge of running the plant. Ron joined them.

Also fresh out of prison, Whorley provided names of government contracting officials he learned about from fellow prisoners. Whorley said he invested $50,000 in KII for a share of the profits and steered the Kucheras to his contacts at the Census Bureau, where they won federal work.

But Whorley continued selling drugs, earning a 10-year prison sentence with his next federal conviction. He later filed a lawsuit claiming that Bill Kuchera cheated him out of his share of the firm’s profits, but it was unsuccessful.

For a long time, business hummed along. But new tensions arose within KII. Michael Kuchera said he grew upset when customers warned him that Bill had paid them cash “gifts” to retain their business. In 1993, Michael Kuchera said, Bill persuaded his uncle to sell the company to a local buyer Bill had found. Months later, Michael Kuchera said he discovered that he actually had signed over his company to an entity controlled by his nephews. He said he consulted a lawyer, who told him there was little he could do.

washingtonpost.com

Don’t you just admire the family that has such little love or loyalty, that they stab the uncle in the back, after he had given these brothers not just a job, but partnerships. What a family. It becomes apparent just why John Murtha would be attracted to these people.

Now, along comes Murtha, a Pennsylvania Representative who just loves calling our troops murderers without cause, a man with a troubled past of his own, and an airport that is his pet toy, courtesy of us, the taxpayers.

By 1994, the Kuchera brothers had moved their operations to Windber, Pa., 11 miles east of Johnstown, with hope of winning defense contracts that Murtha said he wanted to bring to the district. They partnered with Hughes Aircraft as part of a Defense Department mentor-protege program. Kuchera Defense Systems qualified as a small, disadvantaged business, because it reported that at least 20 percent of its employees were disabled, meeting the government’s standard. Raytheon became Kuchera Defense Systems’ mentor after it acquired Hughes, a partnership that Murtha’s office said the lawmaker encouraged.

“Without Raytheon and without Congressman Murtha, there would be no Kuchera Defense,” Bill Kuchera said in a 2000 interview.

Kuchera also hired a high-powered lobbying firm, Ervin Technical Associates, whose chairman is longtime Murtha friend and former congressman Joseph M. McDade (R-Pa.). Kuchera employees and their spouses have donated more than $106,000 to Murtha’s political action and campaign committees.

washingtonpost.com

So, the firm, with taxpayer money, grew larger under the patronage of John Murtha. Trouble was, however, on the horizon, as the Kucera brothers couldn’t begin to justify their billing practices- where did the money go? To Murtha? who knew?

Last year, acting on tips from people with information about company operations, investigators began scrutinizing Kuchera’s billing and whether federal funds had been used improperly, including for renovations and laptops. The investigators also are looking into invoices submitted by corporations run by Kuchera family members and friends, one source said.

In the raid of the ranch, federal investigators confiscated nine guns, Bill Kuchera’s rifles and shotguns. While the Defense Department had signed off on the executive controlling tens of millions of dollars in defense work, his felony conviction made it illegal for him to possess a firearm.

washingtonpost.com

This just begins to underline the problem here, and why people don’t trust the government- because we have s***bags like John Murtha giving millions of tax dollars to drug runners for God knows what. When you add to this the airport with the 80 million dollar radar no one knows how to operate, or the $150,000 repaving job done on the runway- a runway that handles around twenty people a week, all from Washington, you have to wonder at the character, or lack thereof of this alleged “Representative” of the people, John Murtha.

And you damn sure have to wonder at the company he keeps.

Copyright © 2012 Blake. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/hypocrisy-is-a-liberal-by-law/.

Everybody who hasn’t been in a soundproof room for the last couple of weeks has heard of the dust-up between Nancy Pelosi and the CIA, where she adamantly (and stridently, sometimes incoherently) denies that she knew anything about EITs (enhanced interrogation techniques) and claims that it was the CIA who lied. It must have been her ritalin talking to say something rash like that.

But she is not the only one who has problems on that side of the aisle, oh no. The list is almost as long as the membership of the Democrat party is itself. I think, because they are SO unused to power, that they have literally forgotten that they are accountable to the people of the United States for their egregious behavior and criminal attitudes.

Let’s begin our tour with Charlie Rangel, who has more than enough on his plate concerning whether he should pay taxes on several rent properties he actually owns. Yes, Chuckie- it is taxable. Then there are the expenses for leased cars, and owned cars, and it gets complicated, he says- but you see, he is part of the committee that writes the tax code, so he should know- that IS supposed to be his job. Is he incompetent? One might think so.

Little Timmy Geithner, former head of the New York Fed, a person who has been in on EVERY aspect of the generational theft we have been suffering under since the TARP fund was created, has tax problems- you would expect that the head of the Federal Reserve could at least PAY HIS TAXES- the rest of us common folk are expected to. This tax thing seems to be a problem with Dems- Dashle, Killefer, Dodd, Reid, all of these and more have not been able to reconcile their taxes.

This leads to a perception that Liberals just can’t do math- and yet they are managing our economy? This should not be, but the libs have been really good at subterfuge- look at how easily they fooled us with a smooth talker. We just didn’t know at the time that he can’t speak coherently without his tele-prompter. It is his best friend, and he takes it everywhere- I think I saw it even when he was ordering a burger one day, with Joe Biden.

Skinny B probably has a Secret Service guard on the tele-prompter, with orders to save the prompter, not Biden. There have to be priorities, after all. Amtrak Joey is expendable, after all, but the prompter is not.

Some people have a dashboard Jesus- Barama has a dashboard Prompter, so he can give directions to the driver.
It would be justice if, since the Dems started this financial mess, they could clean it up, but as I said before, obviously they can’t do math- when Skinny B claims that he inherited a deficit of 1.2 trillion dollars, but by increasing it to 4.6 trillion over the next three years he is reducing the deficit, I have to wonder if perhaps he has been into Pelosi’s Meds- and you can tell from HER expression that those are potent meds.

Harry Reid has some really questionable land deals in Nevada, Chris Dodd has legal mortgage questions concerning sweetheart deals with Countrywide, a company that took govt. money. Jack (all our soldiers are baby killers) Murtha has his own airport, which the government has paid over 150 million dollars for. Now, he is getting a runway resurfaced for 150,000 dollars. That airport serves twenty people a week, and he’s got the stones to criticize Republicans? He’s no better, and probably worse, than Ted (Bridge to Nowhere) Stevens was. Now his good for nothing nephew gets a no bid contract from the government to do nothing? Hypocrisy.

If Republicans were doing even half of these things, they would be tossed out of office, because at least Republicans have some shame, but the Dems act like they are immune to the stigma of criminal behavior, as if they deserve to be able to act this way. There is just no shame to these wastes of space. When Duke Cunningham was accused, he was out of office before he was convicted. Ted Stevens, out. Larry Craig, out. The conservative wing has some shame, and we take responsibility for our actions, unlike the serial deniers on the liberal side.

The one saving grace is that Barama can not possibly do what he says, monetarily. There is just not enough money to do this without a punishing tax hike on everybody, top to bottom. This is when their fake “class warfare” hype will collapse from the weight of the accumulated lies, and the people will finally see the faker and his thieving party for the criminals they are. The hypocrisy party will be over.

You can fool all of the people some of the time, and you can fool some of the people all of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/murthas-nephew-gets-awarded-no-bid-contract/.

I have read time and again the liberal meme about no-bid contracts and how the evil Republicans handed them out as favors to their buddies. The name Halliburton is screamed every time the liberals want to make a point about no-bid contracts. Halliburton, the libs believe, get no-bid contracts because Dick Cheney was once employed there and somehow he profits from those contracts.

They usually ignore the fact that Halliburton is the only company that is capable of doing what they are contracted to do. Sure, they have been involved in overcharging but those things get investigated.

I want to know if my liberal friends (you know who you are) will jump in here and scream about the no-bid contract that a company named Murtech received. I want to know if they will stop by here and discuss how this company, that is headed by Jack Murtha’s nephew, received a no-bid contract. It is obvious that Murtha ensured that this was awarded to family. Given Murtha’s history of corruption there can be no doubt. The fact that there is no evidence that the business even does anything makes it all the more suspicious.

The headquarters of Murtech, in a low-slung, bland building in a Glen Burnie business park, has its blinds drawn tight and few signs of life. On several days of visits, a handful of cars sit in the parking lot, and no trucks arrive at the 10 loading bays at the back of the building.

Yet last year, Murtech received $4 million in Pentagon work, all of it without competition, for a variety of warehousing and engineering services. With its long corridor of sparsely occupied offices and an unmanned reception area, Murtech’s most striking feature is its owner — Robert C. Murtha Jr., 49. He is the nephew of Rep. John P. Murtha, the Pennsylvania Democrat who has significant sway over the Defense Department’s spending as chairman of the House Appropriations defense subcommittee. [emphasis mine] Washington Post

Well, well. It seems that some of them there Democrats are involved in the no-bid contract game and it is obvious that this is a payment to a family member. When people mention Cheney and Halliburton they cannot be persuaded that Cheney does not profit and he does not have any influence in the contracting process (Bill Clinton’s administration awarded a no bid to Halliburton). So let’s hear what they have to say about this obvious crime.

Where are you liberals? Where is your voice proclaiming the culture of corruption.

Who will be the first liberal to defend Murtha.

Come on, I am waiting.

Copyright © 2012 Blake. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/the-pandemic-of-liberalitis/.

Day One-Today, another subject, Person S. succumbed to an inexplicably virulent strain of Liberalism, and fell to the floor twitching uncontrollably, talking in a rambling fashion about class warfare, hiking taxes and controlling the “dumb racists and rednecks” that they claimed were running the world. The preliminary diagnosis is Liberalitis, complicated with Murtha’s Syndrome, an apparent virulent variant of Tourette’s Syndrome.

Only when presented with a teleprompter, was the subject able to enunciate a lucid thought, and the subject appeared to calm somewhat. This condition is still being evaluated at this time, as the subject has sealed himself in a pod where the metamorphosis will be completed. Evaluation will continue.

Day Two- Subject awoke screaming “Stimulus! Stimulus!” so we were forced to trank him in order to strap him down for observation. He is still foaming at the mouth, moaning, “Master, Master- I serve you- I shall sleep at your feet, and worship the Marine One you fly in on.”- There was more, but we are still having the translators work on it. We believe the language to have some proto- Hawaiian or African roots. It’s really too early to tell. Poor creature. He’s obviously lost his soul.

Day Three-Subject S. appears to be calmer for the moment, but rapid eye movement from side to side betray his madness. He speaks of a “Super- Majority”, and how he will bring about the End. There is also an obscure reference to thirty pieces of silver- how odd. Now he’s singing J-E-L-L-O, and yelling something about “Betrayal you can believe in”. I fear his mind has been consumed in self delusion, and we are too late to help this wretch. We can only observe, and pray to God to help preserve his immortal soul from the One Who Prattles Overmuch.
We are afraid that we might not have the strength or skill to draw him back from the Dark Lord.

Day Four-All our skill has proven futile- Subject S. has given his soul to the One in exchange for not having to actually go into the real world and face Life After Politics, apparently a horrendous fate for a man with no skills and very limited intelligence, combined with the natural tendency to have severely atrophied and shriveled morals, caused by the overuse of ethical waffling. Oh- lets not forget Murtha’s Syndrome.

The case is hopeless, common sense can not be restored- we have tried mightily, but in the end, political survival and rampant equivocation has overcome morality, common sense, and an intelligent choice.

Nothing more can be done for this poor soul- we shall have to let him loose and hope he finds his way home, and that his crippling dementia doesn’t make him keep veering to the left, perpetually going in circles.

It’s probably for the best that Subject S. has already emasculated himself. We could not, in good conscience, allow this DNA into the gene pool. Now, we have to keep attention to the spreading of Liberalitis, and its toxic effects on civilization as we know it. Our very survival may, in fact, rely on our vigilance in curbing this vicious virus, as it could spread through the population quickly, converting many of us into non- working entitlement monkeys, who will wantonly suck all money from the few who can resist this virus and continue to work.

If you are feeling as if people owe you a living, and that you should earn as much as your boss, if you begin to believe wacky things that have no roots in the real world, you are hallucinating. Stop where you are, go to the nearest lamppost, and slam your head into the post until you feel pain. This should take your mind off of ridiculous theories and faulty logic. See your nearest parent. Talk with them. They CAN help.

You CAN get through this. You do NOT have to be like Subject S.

Copyright © 2012 Blake. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/filthy-little-piggies-doing-piggie-things/.

The feeding at the public trough has commenced in earnest- if it ever really stopped, that is. I believe the feeding slowed just enough for the piggies to change places, but boy oh boy, these Democrats are really showing an appetite here, now that they know they will not be pulled back from the trough by any little thing like ethics, or a sense of moral outrage. Don’t anybody reach in, you’ll draw back a stump- piranha have better manners.

And it just keeps getting better and better, when you are a Democrat and you know the media’s got your back.

First, we have Jack Murtha, a lush who likes, for some reason, to slander our veterans with no evidence, and who pours over 100 million dollars to an airport in his district that services maybe twenty people in a day.

Yeah, Jackie- that’s real good use of our money- do you even have a brain? Twenty people a day? Oh- one of them may be you? Well, that’s OK then, because we wouldn’t want to keep you from all of those wonderful speaking engagements where you call your constituents “Rednecks and racists.” Your’e real classy.

And then, on the other side of the country, there is Senator Diane Feinstein, one of the five richest members of the Senate, a person who is not even on a banking committee, steering federal funding of more than 100 billion with a B dollars to the FDIC. OK so far, but then…

Enter her husband’s firm, which had a competitive bid in with the FDIC to handle foreclosed homes, where this firm could make from 8- 30% of the sale on these homes.

Guess who gets the contract- that’s right, Diane’s hubby, who adamantly maintains that he didn’t know a thing about this, despite the fact that he is the board Chairman.

Does ANYBODY really believe this? Perhaps in a bizarre X-Files moment, but in real life? Really, you mean to try and say that this husband and wife didn’t mention anything about all of this- it just came together like the random atoms liberals say was the beginning of life? Just a sort of financial Big Bang, right?

I have to say, if Richard Blum, Sen. Feinstein’s husband says he didn’t know this, and people believe him, these same people should also believe Jeffery Skilling, Bernie Madoff, Richard Stanford, and all the other heads of companies who maintain that they did not know what was happening. Or, for that matter, Scooter Libby, Dick Cheney, and anybody else who offers an explanation, because it will have become painfully evident that the explanation doesn’t have to make sense, it just has to be said, and, you know, we will believe ANYTHING.

It borders on science fiction to even try to say that all of this is coincidence- call a spade a spade, and admit that Sen. Feinstein and her hubby were stealing from the taxpayer, just as Jackie “our Army is murderin’ scum” Murtha has been stealing from the taxpayer for years. 100 million dollars for what is really an Air Park? It now has a state of the art radar facility that NOONE USES. That is correct- there is no one manning this multi million dollar radar facility. There it sits, grass growing around it, because Murtha just can’t stop spending our money.

And of course, there are many more, but it’s kind of like getting beaten- after awhile, you sort of get a little numb to all the body blows.

The Democrats are very good, some might even say world- class at stealing tax money. They have been doing that since Roosevelt. Of course, there are the bone heads, like William Jefferson (who was one last name away from feeling like a president), who thought a freezer was a fine place to store cash. (Why no, officer, I don’t think it’s odd, do you? Doesn’t everyone keep cash there? I thought the roaches would eat it if I left it out, and besides, it was going to be a present, yea, that’s it, that’s the ticket.)

Not to mention John Conyers, who has the gall to try and accuse Dick Cheney of crimes, while he himself is under investigation, or Charlie Rangel, who, in spite of being the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee, which oversees our tax code, can’t seem to figure out why he can’t exempt himself from the tax laws he oversees with regard to either his many rental properties (Charlie,it’s income, you have to declare it) to the cars he rents or owns.

Look, I know there are Republicans who do the same things- the media are all over them, but here’s the hypocrisy- the story about Sen, Feinstein was reported by several papers, almost all of whom had the same story, virtually word for word, like a press release, with no follow up. The story effectively has died, because when you have no one with the huevos to follow up, it’s like it never even happened.

Further, the original story actually began on Oct. 30, with the timeline horribly skewed, and nobody questioning why Richard Blum knew about the awarding of the contract on Nov. 26, while Sen. Feinstein said she didn’t know about it until Jan. 21? Don’t you think that maybe her husband, during one of the Senate’s MANY vacations, might have said,” Honey, guess what? My company has been awarded a 10 million dollar bid to sell foreclosed homes. How fortuitous, and lucky we must be. The stars must have aligned themselves just right for us, for surely this could not have been planned.” Uh Huh.

And some wonder why we don’t trust liberals.

Copyright © 2012 Blake. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/the-first-one-hundred-days/.

April 29 will mark Barama’s first one hundred days in office. Gee, it seems like yesterday- we were full of hope, gleaming, fresh- washed faces turned towards the Sainted One, seeking his blessings—– oh wait- wrong delusion, that was the liberal version: Let’s try again.

It seems like yesterday, when people ran screaming into the streets, yelling the socialists are coming, the socialists are coming! Oh crud, it’s no nightmare, they really are here, and they are busy embedding themselves like a lyme- diseased tick into the backside of America, sucking the life out of free enterprise.

It is theft of not just money, which is criminal, a la Jack Murtha and his little airport, but hope, since people who want to start a small business will be told how much money they will be permitted to make before onerous taxes kick in, and these small business people have to pay for the socialistic programs Barry proposes. Those in government will be exempt from these petty things, of course- those rules are for the little people.

The fact that the banks who want to give back the TARP funds are not being allowed to do so is an unbelievable interference by government in our free enterprise system. It’s breathtakingly Mafia- like in its stench of extortion.
I was talking to one of the bankers I do business with- after all, I keep what little money I still have there, I might as well see if my bank took the TARP.

She told me that yes, they were “asked” in a very blunt way that they would take the money, even though they did not need the money.

Since then, especially since the rules changed, and the govt. had changed their “Preferred”, or non- voting stock to “common”, or voting stock, this bank had been trying to give the money back, but the government had refused to take it, saying that they had voting power, and they intended to use it.

This is unwarranted and illegal interference in free enterprise and the commerce of the United States, but the Barama administration believes that if they control the banks, they will control the nation.

They need to watch out- overreaching, extending tyrannical claws into this much of American life, could very well backfire.
Remember the Czars? Not the wimps that Barry appoints, the real deal, from Russia. It seems these people thought they could control the people also. The Czars, or as it should be spelled, the Tsars, thought that if they kept a lid on their people, kept them under strict control, they would stay in power.

Well, they were overthrown- seems the people wanted change they could believe in- instead they got totalitarian control under a different name, Communism. And this is coming again, just slower. No bloody corpses, just CEOs thrown out of their jobs, with the “people’s” government sitting in their seats. A bloodless usurping of power.

Same basic result, just a kinder, gentler coup.

Now, not many Presidents like to be judged on their first one hundred days- JFK even inserted words in his inaugural speech, to the effect that results might not be seen in his administration’ s term- and he was right, but unfortunately not for the reasons he thought.

The reason that the hundred days thing came about is that it is catchy, in a newsbite sense, but also because the public begins to get a sense of the direction the President wants the country to go. The direction THIS one wants the country to go, is so so wrong for this country- it turns on its ear the way that virtually everything in this country has worked in the last two hundred and thirty two years. Now, that’s a life style change that is fairly entrenched, and one that will be hard to change. You need to ask yourself- is this business model a good thing to change? After all, it worked fine until the Democrats began to alter the rules, just to try for more votes.

The Democrats were too dumb to know that there are rules for a reason, and it’s not the “class warfare” they talk about every time there is an election. These rules are there to protect BOTH SIDES in a transaction, and these rules are not arbitrary, they have been thought out over time.

The Democrats couldn’t have done better if they had meant to, except that while they are not smart enough to have done this intentionally, they WERE quick to take advantage of the opening they created, jumping into this chasm of uncontrolled greed and loose rules.

” Oh, WE will regulate this mess (that we created, but ssshhhhh-), don’t you worry. Plus, if you vote in the next five minutes, (because we can’t do this all day), we will throw in FREE, a faux tax rebate (which we will take back by charging more in hidden taxes) that will be yours. Just pay for shipping, handling and we will be glad to scrape off all those troublesome liberties and freedoms that hang around, and take control of your life, because we are the only people smart enough to know what is good for you. We will regulate what you eat, how cool or warm you can be in your own house, what medical care you need (because WE know just how much pain you can stand), we will tell you what your ideal weight should be, and how much beer you can drink, keep you from smoking cigarettes, cause you to drive less ( don’t EVEN think about seeing the USA in a Chevrolet), and make you eat your broccoli.

Sounds ridiculous, huh? Unfortunately it is not that far off of the mark- some of what I wrote is already in the works- the cigarette tax is designed not only to bring in money, but punish those who choose to smoke. Many of these people are poor, but Barry doesn’t care. He gets his cigarettes free. He doesn’t have to pay for the thousands of gallons of fuel he spews everywhere when he gets the urge for a photo op.

Make fast food prohibitive in cost with a sin tax, and a restrictive business environment. This is how they roll- they want to force change in people’s habits, because they truly believe that they know better than we the people just what we the people need.

What absolute arrogance, and all in the first one hundred days.

Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/pennsylvania-racists/.

John Murtha stated that his home base of western Pennsylvania is full of racists and that will reduce the number of votes that Barack Obama receives from that area. John Murtha, the guy who dishonored our Marines, is calling the people in his area a bunch of racists and that is why they will not vote for Obama. It could not possibly be because they disagree with his political viewpoints like his desire to take away the guns they so desperately cling to.

This is the tact the left has taken throughout the campaign. If you don’t vote for Obama then you are a racist and to them it is that plain and simple.

It does not matter that people might be opposed to Socialism. It does not matter that they might be opposed to “spreading the wealth” in the income redistribution plan Obama desires for America. It does not matter that they might be pro life and opposed to abortion, especially late term and partial birth abortions, something Obama is comfortable with. It does not even matter that they might be opposed to allowing infants to be left to die after an unsuccessful abortion, a position Obama holds regardless of how he tried to spin it.

No, all that matters is if one does not vote for Obama then racism must be involved.

Western Pennsylvania is full of good, hard working people who value life and freedom and they will decide who to vote for based upon the issues and not the color of a candidate’s skin.

In addition to not voting for Obama the people of Murtha’s district can do itself, the military, and our country a great favor by not voting for Murtha. He needs to go and he needs to go now. Let’s get rid of him and his unethical ways and replace him with a good and decent person.

Look for the race card to be played over and over for the next two plus weeks. Barack Obama believes that middle America clings to guns and religion because it has no understanding of the differences among the people of our nation. Perhaps it is time that Americans stopped clinging.

Stopped clinging, that is, to career politicians who have ruined our government.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/obama-laments-distraction-but-not-his/.

Barack Obama was discussing his contest with Hillary Clinton when he made reference to her claim about throwing the kitchen sink at him. Obama stated that Hillary had thrown the China and soon the buffet would be coming. Obama stated that the things Hillary is discussing are distractions and take them away from discussing the issues that people want to hear about.

I wonder how long it will be before someone takes him to task for making a reference to Hillary’s temper and who will make the connection of woman-China-kitchen (though Hillary opened it up with the sink reference). Maybe that was why Obama mentioned (during the debate) Hillary and her famous “baking cookies” remark years ago. Obama thinks this woman belongs in a kitchen.

Amazingly (or maybe not) Obama is lamenting over the distractions caused by the Clinton campaign but his campaign is just as guilty. His campaign held a conference call to discuss the Bosnia sniper lie and it has taken as many opportunities to go after Hillary and ignore policy as her campaign has. This is just another case of the kettle and pot scenario or as Jake Trapper ponders:

Is Clinton’s Bosnia-sniper-fire story not a “distraction,” while Rezko, Wright, Ayers, Bitter-gate, and the flag pin are “distractions”?

In the article about this Obama stated he was from Chicago so he knows politics is rough business and he assures us he can handle it. Ignoring the stuttering and stammering he did in the last debate, when he was handling it, Obama has given us more insight. He is from Chicago and that place has a history of having the dirtiest and unethical politics around. There is little that goes on there that is legal and the Democrats there continue in the tradition of past criminal politicians. Obama learned politics in Chicago so it is not hard to imagine he knows how to skirt the law with the best of them. Think Rezko.

Obama is just as guilty as Clinton with regard to distractions. They have both engaged in the politics of personal destruction and have shied away from the issues. People claim Obama discusses issues but he only talks of hope and change with little substance or information as to how he will change things. He hopes you will not notice and many have not.

The Democrats are tearing each other apart. She and her veiled shots at his race and he at her sex. Their supporters are mean and nasty and the slightest criticism of either brings out the rabid supporters and their attacks.

John McCain is the one who benefits from the dysfunctional Democratic Party and he must be loving it. As an aside, Jack Murtha (American traitor) recently stated that John McCain was too old to be president (did know there was an upper age limit in the Constitution) and there was little criticism of his remarks by the Democratic establishment.

I wonder how nutty the Democrats would become (nuttier?) if a prominent Republican claimed Obama was too young to be president?

Just a thought for this Monday morning…

They would be open and honest and yet, they continue to make back room deals with people like Abscam Murtha leading the charge to spend your hard earned money. Here is an interesting video that discusses the “earmarks” that this transparent Congress has requested. I just want to know if it is so transparent, how come no one is aware? I also want to know if the Muslim Congressman, Keith Ellison, is allowed to participate in the pork fest.

They are corrupt and they need to go. Having said that, Republicans were not very good at fiscal responsibility either. We need people in office who will do what is right. Let’s replace them all and start over.
