Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/fast-and-furious-shredding-of-the-constitution/.

Progressives are sneaky weasels who smile at you while stabbing you in the back. They will stop at nothing to impose their idea of Socialist Utopia on people and that includes ignoring or shredding the Constitution. These people look at our rule of law as an impediment to them attaining their goal of complete domination over the populace.

Progressives come in all shapes and sizes and that means there are Republican as well as Democrat progressives. One only needs to look at the bills being pushed through Congress right now, bills that will designate the US as part of the battlefield and deny Americans their Constitutional protections, to see that both parties are working toward complete domination.

The Fast and Furious gun running scheme that was sanctioned by the Obama regime and had support from the White House through the Justice Department to the ATF is a classic example of how progressives work to remove our rights.

Fast and Furious was a scheme in which the ATF asked gun dealers to allow illegal purchases to be made so the guns could be tracked to drug cartels in Mexico. The gun dealers were not happy about this and continually asked for reassurance that they would not get in trouble and that the guns would not make it south of the border.

The dealers were assured that the government had things under control. We now know this is untrue as the ATF lost track of a large number of guns, two of which were found at the scene of the murder of a border patrol agent.

The Obama regime has denied involvement and documents obtained by CBS show that the regime was interested in using the illegal purchases (purchases that were allowed ONLY at the request of the regime) to enforce more stringent gun control measures.

That’s right. The Obama regime asked gun dealers to allow illegal purchases to go through AND THEN tried to use those purchases as a reason we need tougher reporting rules, tougher gun laws. If the ATF had not asked the gun dealers to allow the illegal purchases they would not have happened.

Create a crisis, address the crisis and then trample on our rights while shredding the Constitution.

Fast and Furious was a criminal act authorized by the Obama regime that was ostensibly to track guns to drug cartels but in reality was designed to create a situation where the regime could impose more gun control.

Who knows what would have happened if the criminals in the regime had not been caught?

Eric Holder needs to go. Obama needs to go. The head of the ATF needs to go. In fact, anyone involved in this at the management level needs to go.

They all need to go to jail…

Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/we-know-what-it-feels-like-being-told-to-submit/.

Joe Biden was out trying to trump up support for Stimulus II, Obama’s second attempt at doing the same thing that did not work the last time. The guy who spent nearly a trillion dollars on a stimulus for “shovel ready jobs” that turned out not to be shovel ready wants you to believe that a second stimulus will put people to work at shovel ready jobs.

So Biden is talking about crime statistics (which were all fabricated) and he discussed rape and gun crimes going up when there are fewer police officers. He said that these crimes would go up even more without Stimulus II and that he wished those who oppose knew what it was like:

I wish these guys who thought it was temporary, I wish they had some notion of what it was like to be on the other side of a gun, or [to have] a 200-pound man standing over you, telling you to submit,” Biden told a crowd at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia on Tuesday, adding, “Folks, it matter, it matters.” The Lonely Conservative

I don’t know how much Obama weighs so I can’t attest to the 200 pound man involved but I do know what it is like to have a big eared bean pole standing over me telling me to submit.

Obama wants Stimulus II to pay off his union buddies. He wants to use more taxpayer money to send to states so they can use it to fill gaps in their budgets (which is what happened in Stimulus I). He has been running around demanding that his bill be passed. Chants of pass the bill come from him and his adoring flocks as they demand that we submit to Obama’s wishes.

Obama has taken to ridiculing Republicans even though some of his Democrats are not on board with Stimulus II. He blames Republicans even though the Democrat controlled Senate can’t get the bill passed. Democrats will cry about filibuster threats (karma is a beyatch) but Republicans are doing nothing more than following the rules and the will of their constituents. That is what they are supposed to do. Democrats had no problems doing that when they were the minority party so they will just have to live with it.

So we have Obama demanding that we submit and he is doing it by using fear about fewer police officers and firefighters (at the point of the metaphorical gun) and he is insulting the intelligence of people who oppose by insisting they are not bright enough to understand it so they want to break it up into smaller pieces. We understand it and don’t like it but that won’t stop Obama from trying to force us to submit.

Obamacare is another example where a majority of the population opposed the legislation and it was rammed through against our wishes. We were FORCED to submit to the desires of the Socialist Democrats.

So yes Joe, we know what it is like. The difference is we are tough enough to stand up to the man standing over us and given the number of guns purchased in this country it is unlikely we will stare down a gun unless we live in an area controlled by liberals.

We need to kill the legislation because it will not do anything to create jobs (government does not create jobs). It will only allow states to keep government employees (union employees) employed by using our tax dollars to make up for the state’s inept management.

Joe, we know buddy. It does matter folks and it matters when we vote next November.

I am part of the Occupy crowd. Occupy the White House in 2012.

And send Barry Obama and Sheriff Joe packing…

Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/judicial-system-costs-a-teen-her-life/.

A Chicago teen, Charinez Jefferson, was murdered by a gang banger who saw her walking with a member of a rival gang. Gang banger Timothy Jones fired shots at the two and his rival ran from the scene leaving Jefferson to fend for herself (what a real man this guy is).

Jones pointed his gun at Jefferson as she begged for her life explaining that she was pregnant. Jones shot her in the head and then pumped more rounds into her body. She died and her unborn child is in critical condition.

The anti gun nuts in this country will blame the weapon for the crime but the weapon was used by a person who should not have had it (criminals do NOT obey the law) and who should have been in jail. Charinez Jefferson was the victim of a liberal judicial system that refuses to incarcerate felons. Jones has a long rap sheet.

A police source said that Jones was a “stick-up man” well known to area police. At the time of the shooting, Jones was serving 2 years of probation for a 2010 burglary conviction, Dillon said. He also has a “lengthy” juvenile record, including convictions for unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and burglary. Chicago Tribune

Jones should have been in jail. He was well known to police and had a history of violence, criminal activity and use of weapons. Why was this thug on the street?

He was on the street because of a judicial system that allows judges who live in protected communities to be lenient on people who have shown they are unworthy of freedom.

Charinez Jefferson was murdered and her child is in critical condition because a judge or judges refused to put the animal who eventually murdered her in a cage where he belongs.

And since Chicago has one of the most stringent gun laws in the country, Jefferson and others are not allowed to carry guns for their own protection.

They are prey to people like Jones who refuse to obey the law and who are coddled by the lax judicial system.

Cave Canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

Copyright © 2012 Mr. Ogre. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/cant-we-all-just-get-along/.

So now that more evidence has come out that the AZ shooter was a few beers short of a six-pack, and wasn’t actually commanded or influenced by talk radio, Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Bush, Obama, Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Hot Air, Huffington Post, OR Jesus Christ himself, some are starting to calm down (a little). The recent trends I’m seeing are now that we need to “calm the rhetoric” and do more to “get along.”

Know what? I’d like to. Seriously, I really would. But I’m not allowed to.

You see, when people say things like, “Oh, we just need to agree to disagree” and the like, that’s not good enough — especially in politics. We can talk about “differing opinions” all we like — and I have no problem with opinions. What makes today’s politics different is force: today’s government wants to use force to make me do things.

That’s not a “difference of opinion.” That’s government sending men with guns to make me do things I don’t want to do.

For example, Washington, DC is considering killing and jailing people who do not shovel their sidewalks within 8 hours of the end of a snow event. Now, when I oppose that, that’s not a “difference of opinion.” That’s supporters of that law saying, “If you don’t agree with me, I will send men to kill you.” You cannot talk about opinions, when one side is willing to use force against peaceful people who are not harming anyone.

So talk about rhetoric and opinions and divisiveness all you want — but when you use government force to get your way, or when you support government using force to get your way, don’t be surprised when others use force to defend themselves. And of course, those who defend themselves against government force will be called terrorists.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/the-federal-government-looking-out-for-you/.

The fact that Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm) refuses to secure the border and has chosen to sue Arizona rather than do his job clearly demonstrates his contempt for America. He is working on a plan for backdoor amnesty and his Immigration services are not aggressively tackling the illegal immigrant issue.

If the government took the illegal alien problem seriously then one nun would not be dead and two in critical condition. An illegal who had been released on his own recognizance by immigration services, following his third drunk driving incident, hit a car carrying the nuns.

The man suspected of drunken driving and killing a Catholic nun in Prince William County this weekend is an illegal immigrant who was awaiting deportation and who federal immigration authorities had released pending further proceedings, police said Monday. Washington Times

One function of the federal government is to protect the citizens of this country. Unfortunately, Obama and his Democrats are more interested in increasing their voter base than ensuring the citizens of this country are safe.

Jan Brewer of Arizona has the right idea. Unfortunately the guy who rides around in an armored vehicle surrounded by a plethora of armed guards cares little about those of us who have no such protection.

And yes, I know that the nuns could have been hurt by a citizen but the fact is if the government were doing its job then this accident would not have happened.

Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/how-could-eric-holder-forget-this/.

Attorney General and terrorist sympathizer Eric Holder seems to have neglected to include about seven legal briefs he signed in the packet of stuff he provided to the Senate when he went through the confirmation process.

I understand that a politician lawyer like Holder is busy and probably signs a lot of things but two of the briefs involved appeals to the Supreme Court. A lot of attorneys go through their entire career and do not submit stuff to the SCOTUS so one would think this is not the kind of stuff that would be forgotten. What else could make him neglect to send them?

Two of the briefs involved appeals to the Supreme Court for Jose Padilla, who sought release from a military prison in South Carolina where he was being held after then-President George W. Bush designated him an “enemy combatant.” al-Reuters

Oh, more on the terror support front, got it.

Holder is a little weasel. He has been involved in a number of pardons of bad people like Marc Rich, members of the FALN and of the Weather Underground (yes the Bill Ayers terrorist group). He is just a low life weasel who has little regard for the law and sees it more as a vehicle to enact social justice.

Yes, he has a sordid past and yes he deliberately withheld information from the Senate.

He is a pathetic little man who should resign his position and slither back under the rock he emerged from.

And he can save some room for that cretin Obama as well.

Other Holder hits:
OKC Bombing cover-up
Waco cover-up
Torture of US Citizen cover-up

How do we allow pieces of cow dung like this guy to be anywhere near our political system?

Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/obama-gambles-with-terror-trial-in-new-york/.

Pat Buchanan has an interesting article out today that asks if America is at war. Then he goes on to say that if we are at war then why are we bringing terrorists who committed war crimes into our country to be tried in a court of law. He asks why we are granting Constitutional rights to people who are not entitled to them and who should be tried in military courts.

Buchanan’s opinion is that if things go badly with this trial it will be the end of Obama’s occupation of the White House.

I agree with this perspective. I have wondered why it is that these people are taking such a huge gamble. What happens if, for some reason, they are found not guilty or if the case is dismissed for some technical procedure?

It is not beyond imagination that some such thing could happen and some of the terrorists could walk out free men just like Obama’s pal Bill Ayers.

The other thing I wonder is, if they are found anything but guilty where will we send them? Will they be released into the general public? What else can we do with them? If we have had such a difficult time getting homes for those detained at Gitmo then what will change to make countries suddenly willing to take them? It is possible that the monsters who killed our fellow citizens could walk for one reason or another.

And if they walk, Obama can pack his bags because he will not get a second stint.

This is a huge gamble for Obama and if things work out he will look like a hero but if they don’t then things are going to get very ugly for him.

Treating acts of war as a crime issue is one of the things that led to the attack on 9/11.

Treating these terrorists as regular criminals is a big mistake that could have serious consequences both for Obama and for the country as well.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/was-it-his-my-pet-goat-moment/.

There was a terrible incident at Fort Hood today where a soldier opened fire with several weapons and killed 11 people while wounding 31 others. The post was locked down as emergency services responded to the scene. A civilian DOD police officer shot and wounded the assailant, identified as Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who was initially reported as killed in the gunfight.

Let me start by saying the thoughts and prayers of the Big Dog family go out to those affected by this terrible incident. May God give you strength and comfort and may he welcome with open arms those brave souls who were taken from us.

Barack Obama was informed of this and he spoke to it at a conference on Native American issues being held by the Department of the Interior. I think the words that he spoke were heartfelt and appropriate but I do have a problem with how he addressed the issue.

He arrived at the conference and thanked people for attending and then he had a “shout out” to someone there. He then discussed how important the issues were blah, blah, blah. Then he spoke about Hood.

Perhaps, and maybe it is just me, he should have mentioned the Fort Hood incident first. Would it have been too difficult to say something like; “Before I address the conference I want to talk about the incident at Fort Hood. By now you have heard about the horrific incident where 11 soldiers were killed by a fellow soldier. Let me say a few words about what has taken place.” Then he could say the words that he spoke and then move on to the shout outs.

It seemed to me that the soldiers involved in this incident and the people of Fort Hood were second in his mind and that he gave the shout outs a higher priority. He is supposed to be the Commander in Chief and that role should have guided him to speak of the issue first. Perhaps he is not as qualified for the job as he led us to believe.

Was this incident Obama’s My Pet Goat moment? He was more interested in addressing the attendees of the event than actually addressing the tragedy at hand. Kind of like when the left said Bush was more interested in reading a book to children than responding to the 9/11 attacks.

In any event, there will be lots of questions over the next few days and weeks and perhaps we can sort out what went wrong.

Particular attention will likely be paid to statements Hasan has reportedly made about Muslims rising against occupiers as well as other statements allegedly made with regard to his opposition to the war. His radical views were of concern to others who worked with him in the past.

I am glad he was not killed. We need some answers from him. I also hope he is the first soldier to get the death penalty in quite some time. Nothing would be better than saving this coward from death only to make him face his accusers and then have to contemplate his demise.

Prayers to Fort Hood.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/late-term-abortion-performed-at-church/.

A gunman reportedly shot and killed Dr. George Tiller a man who performs(ed) late term abortions. The local authorities have not released the name of the victim but it is being reported as Tiller. Police are looking for the murderer (besides Tiller).

I don’t think this is the way to settle problems and despite how meathead takes my rants I would never kill someone to settle a dispute unless the dispute involved the potential and immediate harm to me or my family. I would shoot someone who broke in my home but would not shoot a neighbor with whom I disagreed. This is an important distinction because some less intelligent people take it literally when you say someone should be shot or hanged for some infraction.

If they catch this guy he should claim that he was guilty of practicing medicine without a license. He could say that he wanted to perform a late term abortion but since he has no medical training he did not know how late “late term” was. He could claim that he performed a late term abortion on Tiller but lacked any training to determine when it was too late.

Tiller can now rot in hell where he belongs. What was that guy doing in church in the first place?

This picture is what Tiller did for a living. (disturbing photo)

UPDATE: This is in a news story: The shooting prompted U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to direct federal marshals to “offer protection to other appropriate people and facilities around the nation,” according to a statement from the Department of Justice.

The Marine recruiting office in Berkeley has been under attack for years but I have never seen US Marshals deployed to protect the facility or the people working there. Of course, the Marines can do a much better job than the US Marshals if we just let them handle it…

One guy is murdered and Holder is offering protection all over.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/excuse-the-rappers-blame-beck-instead/.

I wrote yesterday about the liberal left and its assertions that people like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity incite people to murder. The feeling of those on the left is that the “hate” speech of these talk show hosts incites people to go out and commit crimes, particularly murder. This is not a new thing as Bill Clinton tried to blame the Oklahoma City bombing on Rush Limbaugh instead of on Timothy McVeigh. The left looks everywhere to find someone to blame except the person who actually committed the crime.

The issue now is the death of three police officers in Pittsburgh who were murdered by some guy who was reportedly worried that Obama would take guns away. I have no doubt that Obama would like to do away with guns but this guy went about expressing his concern the wrong way. But he, and only he, is to blame for this terrible crime.

The rap world is full of gang bangers who sing about killing, shooting and all kinds of violence toward women and the public in general. In 1992 a song came out entitled Cop Killer. It was by a group called Body Count (with Ice T) and it was about a person who was fed up with police brutality so he took matters into his own hands. This is the first part of the song:

I got my black shirt on.
I got my black gloves on.
I got my ski mask on.
This sh*ts been too long.
I got my twelve gauge sawed off.
I got my headlights turned off.
Im bout to bust some shots off.
Im bout to dust some cops off.

Im a cop killer, better you than me.
Cop killer, f**k police brutality!
Cop killer, I know your familys grieving,
(f**k em!)
Cop killer, but tonight we get even, ha ha.
Lyrics Freak

There was an uproar about this song. Police survivor groups were not happy with it but there were those who defended it particularly against the tighty whitey George H W Bush administration and their political correctness.

For what its worth I don’t care about the song. The radio has a lot of stations and I know how to work the dial and no one was ever forced to buy it. However, the question is, does not this kind of music actually, directly, incite violence against cops?

People can claim that the conservative talkers play on the emotions and fears of people and put suggestions in their heads about becoming violent. I do not see it that way. These people are not causing anyone to commit crimes. If people are doing this they are doing so on their own. I don’t believe that there are veiled messages of hate and violence from conservative talkers any more than I think Obama is sending veiled messages of violence to people he tells to get in their faces, channel their anger, or if they bring a knife he [Obama] brings a gun because they like to brawl in Philly (which is actually what they did to intimidate voters in that city).

Should we claim that Obama caused Black Panthers to stand in front of polling places with night sticks to intimidate people? If Beck and the others are responsible for the recent violence then Obama is responsible for the actions of those who threaten violence in order to help him.

Should we now start blaming Hollywood and its assorted liberal actors who perfrom in violent movies that feature a lot of people, including cops, being killed. If conservative talkers are responsible for violence then the Hollywood crowd certainly shoulders the burden of blame for violence because a lot of their movies have overt acts of aggression. Where was the liberal uproar when the film about George W Bush being assassinated was released? That certainly gave a message of violence and could have triggered all kinds of violent behavior.

People are responsible for their own actions. I know this is a difficult concept for the left because they always have to have someone to blame. There always has to be a victim class and there always has to be some evil person (usually Republican) who is to blame for it. Personal responsibility is not a strong suit of the left as finger pointing is their favorite past time.

Regardless, if conservative talkers have any blame for these acts of violence then rappers share that blame as does Barack Obama. We cannot have two sets of rules. If veiled messages from conservative talkers cause violence then the same kind of messages from Obama cause violence. If these are true then the blatant call for violence from rappers is definitely to blame for violence as is the overt violence in Hollywood productions. When a guy like 50 Cent is worshiped by young kids because he was shot 9 times then there is a problem that reaches far beyond anything conservative talkers say.

It is a tragedy that the people in Oakland, Pittsburgh and New York were murdered but the only people responsible for the deaths are the people who did the murdering.

Let’s stop the finger pointing and let’s stop trying to affix blame to people who are not responsible.
