The number of readers who visit the website Politico has been decreasing and it is not hard to see why. The latest piece that the site has published is that Michelle Obama claimed she would like to come back as Bo the dog if there is such thing as reincarnation.

Obama claims the dog has a great life and therefore she would like to be that dog, or as Politico puts it, she has Bo envy.

I guess flying all over the world at taxpayer expense, living in a taxpayer provided house, and eating fine foods (while telling the rest of us what to eat) and having armed guards to protect her in a dangerous world is not enough for Michelle. She would like to be a dog.

Well, at least then Barack could keep her on a short leash.

As for Politico, couldn’t they find something newsworthy to report?

Michelle Obama was speaking to some school kids and she talked about them addressing their fears. She noted that some of the things the students face are scary and then said that being married to Barack Obama was a scary thing:

The first lady urged students not to let fear guide them after a student asked about being worried about going away to college.

“I mean this is scary,” she said. “Shoot, being married to Barack Obama? He’s got big plans. He’s always pushing us beyond our comfort zones, and I’m dragged along going, `What’s he doing now? No, not this.’” WTOP

Well Michelle, he scares us as well and for the same reasons. He has big plans that involve more government and the transition to Socialism and he pushes us beyond the comfort zones because he is anti American. He does not like our history and he does not respect the men who founded this nation.

He is scary because he feels entitled to the job and he feels he has the right to tell us how to live and what to do so much so that he is bypassing Congress to get what he wants.

He is a tyrant and while he is not physically imposing or physically scary, his plans and his dreams are scary.

And he needs to be stopped.

In 2012 we will put an end to his tyranny and that will end the scary nightmare for the nation.

You Michelle, have to divorce him to accomplish the same thing…

Michelle Obama went to Illinois and cast her early ballot (I wonder who she voted for) and while she was IN the polling place she discussed voting and how important it was for people to vote to keep her husband’s agenda going.

This violates Illinois election law which states:

“No judge of election, pollwatcher, or other person shall, at any primary or election, do any electioneering or soliciting of votes or engage in any political discussion within any polling place [or] within 100 feet of any polling place.”

Of course there was nothing done about this. In fact, she was given a pass because of who she is.

A top Ilinois State Board of Elections official tells the DRUDGE REPORT that Mrs. Obama — a Harvard-educated lawyer — may have simply been ignorant of the law and thus violated it unintentionally.

“You kind of have to drop the standard for the first lady, right?” the official explained late Thursday. “I mean, she’s pretty well liked and probably doesn’t know what she’s doing.”

You have to drop the standard for the first lady? Seems to me that she should be held to a higher standard especially since she is a LAWYER and Harvard educated at that.

No, we drop the standard for the elites. This is why they do not pay their taxes and run afoul of the very laws they force us to comply with. Ignoring the law is an elitist entitlement.

The only thing that made sense in the quote is that she probably does not know what she is doing.

Ditto for her husband, for whom she illegally campaigned.

You can bet the standard would not be dropped if the violator had been Laura Bush…

Michelle My Belle Obama is on a four day vacation with her youngest daughter while hubby Barry spends time away from family but with his friends, in Chicago. Barack Hussein Obama (mmm, mmm, mmm) spent his birthday in Chicago while the rest of his family did something else. While Barry told the country to visit the Gulf for vacation his wife, Michelle, evidently did not get the memo. She is spending time in Spain at a posh $2500 a night hotel.

Yes, while millions of people are unemployed, while her husband destroys the economy, while the near future is bleak, Michelle Obama is spending time at a hotel in which her room will cost $10,000 for the four days. That is more money than some people make a year. You’ve gotta love royalty…

And it gets worse because MO took up 60 rooms for 40 of her friends. I assume the other 20 rooms were for Secret Service Agents. Don’t be fooled by anything you read in the MSM. Michelle Obama is on a political trip paying off political friends and looking for more support. Hubby is sinking in the polls and most Democrats are avoiding him like the plague so MO is the one to garner support.

The big question is, who is paying for this? We know that part of the bill is being paid for by taxpayers. The plane ride over was on the taxpayer and the 20 or so Secret Service Agents are being paid for by the taxpayer. I don’t know who paid for the rest but if it is her vacation she shouild be paying for the entire trip out of her pocket (with the exception of reasonable items afforded her position as First Lady).

Somehow I feel like the bill will go to the taxpayer.

I do not begrudge anyone a vacation. I don’t really care how people spend their money (if she is indeed spending her money on this) but I can’t stand hypocrites and elitist pigs who tell us one thing and do another. The Clintons bash rich people all the time and discuss how terrible they are and how they should be giving more and why do they need so much and then they spend $5 million dollars on their daughter’s wedding. Think of how many of the poor folks and children that kind of money would have helped.

MO is the same way. She and her husband are liberal elitists who think that the government can decide how much a person can make. They believe that government should provide cradle to grave care for people. They think the evil rich make too much and spend it on lavish things. Then MO spends tens of thousands of dollars on a vacation. What do you expect from a woman whose husband eats $100 a pound steak?

To top all this off, MO did not spend the tens of thousands of dollars here in the United States. She could have gone to California where they could certainly use the money. She could show that she believes what her husband says and vacationed in the Gulf. Think of how welcomed that kind of spending would have been in an area devestated by the oil spill and the ensuing ineptitude of the Obama regime. The people down there are hurting and could have used an influx of money. The presence of MO could have sparked the rest of the country to vacation in the Gulf and help out our fellow Americans.

No, MO went to Spain where the State Department had determined that racist cops were arresting people for being black. Fortunately for Michelle, the State Department lifted the look out black folks memo in time for her to walk around Spain without worry (as if a platoon of Secret Service would ever let anything happen).

With more people claiming unemployment benefits (unexpectedly, of course), and more people using food stamps it would have been nice to see the First Lady spend money at home.

Michelle Obama has taken on the issue of childhood obesity and while this is certainly an issue that effects many children one has to wonder where it becomes an issue for the government. What children eat and how they are fed is a matter for parents, not the nannies in government.

Obama said that obesity is a national security issue:

Military leaders report that obesity is now one of the most common disqualifiers for military service. Economic experts tell us that we’re spending outrageous amounts of money treating obesity-related conditions like diabetes, heart disease and cancer. And public health experts tell us that the current generation could actually be on track to have a shorter lifespan than their parents. Politics Daily

I don’t know who these military leaders are because they are unnamed and no information other than the claim is given. The branches of service have different weight standards and obesity is certainly an issue that can cause disqualification but most services will take people who are overweight because basic training usually gets them in shape and helps them lose weight. A waiver might be required but those who are otherwise healthy might get the waiver and later be released if unable to shed the weight.

Claiming it to be a national security issue is shady at best. If national security is the issue more waivers will be issued and the recruits who are obese will be on a more strenuous program to get them in compliance.

There are a lot of things that disqualify people from military service including use of Ritalin. This is certainly an issue that is widespread because America drugs its children with Ritalin more than any country in the world. The list of things that can be disqualifying is quite large and some reasons are more common than others.

In any event, none of them is a national security issue any more than being too tall or too short to join is a national security issue.

It might be wise for the administration to avoid the hype and stick to real issues that actually are a concern for national security.

Like say, allowing people on watch lists to board aircraft with bombs in their underwear.

Sarah Palin spoke at a Tea Party convention this past week and the left went nuts over the fact that she wrote a few notes on her hand. Those who brought us the vulgarity of teabagger started taking about Sara Palin’s hand job.

Palin also attacked the man boy in the White House and took him to task. Naturally, Obama being the metrosexual that he is, was defended by his wife. While discussing how wonderful her hubby is Michelle Obama, the well educated and smartest of the smart, said this:

I think my husband has done a phenomenal job staying on course, looking his critics in the eye, coming up with clear solutions against staying the course. [emphasis mine]

I do not have an Ivy League education but I can certainly see that this makes no sense whatsoever. In an effort to defend her hubby, Michelle told us that he did two completely opposite things.

I know that Barack Obama has taken some heat because he has to use a teleprompter to go to the bathroom and turn about is fair play so it is no big deal that the left mocked Palin for writing notes on her hand. It is worthy to note however, that she did NOT use a teleprompter when she delivered her speech.

I know the left likes to portray Palin as stupid and empty headed and the notes on her hand only gave them fodder (even the moron Gibbs who can’t complete a sentence mocked her) so it was not surprising that Michelle Obama, the smart woman in the crowd, had to come out to address Palin’s attack on the man boy.

But given how completely stupid and moronic Michelle Obama’s statement was, perhaps she should have written a few notes on her on hand.

Maybe she learned to speak from John Kerry who was for it before he was against it…

I also wonder if the press “corpse” will point out Michelle’s stupidity.

First Klingon Michelle Obama has a new pair of tennis shoes and they are quite ugly and they cost a whopping $540.00. Reporters asked about her shoes but were dismissed with the “they are only shoes” line.

I really don’t care about the shoes or how much she spent on them. It is her money and she can do what she wants with it even if that means buying butt ugly shoes. Anyone who had the idea that the Obama’s were just like the rest of us was deluded to begin with. Very few politicians actually live like we do or really “feel our pain.”

What irritates me is that some of the comments in the story indicated that she was free to spend her money on what she wanted but those comments come from the same kind of people who scream when a corporate executive buys an expensive home or yacht. Here is a typical comment (though there are some bashing her for the expense):

I am trying to figure out why all of you people are outraged by this. Did anyone read the article that recently stated the Obama’s annual income prior to them becoming the first family? She was always able to afford $540 shoes, she’s a Harvard JD! She had a job and earned her money and is entitled to spend it on $540 shoes if that is what she wants to do. All of you who are whining about her purchasing these shoes and what it means should get off their high horse. She is allowed to spend her money however she pleases and the last thing she has to do is answer to someone about why or how she spent her own, hard earned money on a pair of shoes. Find something new to attack her for because attacking her because she is an educated, hard working woman who made money really doesn’t make much sense.

Obama is limiting executive pay for those who took taxpayer money and wants to expand that to all companies. The liberals are the ones who tell us constantly that the rich do not need all that money and then cry about lavish lifestyles.

Rich people, no matter who they are, should be able to spend THEIR money on anything they want without someone else telling them what they should buy or how they should spend.

In reality, people, rich or not, should be able to buy what they can afford. It is not up to us or those in government to tell others how to spend their money unless their spending leads to our tax dollars being spent on them via the welfare system.

My only thought on the shoes; It was kind of stupid of her to wear $540.00 tennis shoes when she went to help out at a food bank.

Michelle Obama, radical liberal and racist, has become the first First Lady in history to put a make-up artist on full time for her traveling entourage. I imagine that any make-up job involving this woman would be a full time job. Klingons require a lot of work.

It would appear as if the big deal was made about Michelle’s falsies and the need for help in getting them straight. Seems that her eyelashes are marvelous but she needs help putting them on. She also needs the person with the trowel to apply the make-up and smooth the cracks.

And it is a guy. I am going to avoid the obvious reference.

The article says the Obamas are paying for this.

Or, did this make-up artist just happen to be heading to DC and decided he would bring all the supplies and do it for free?

Maybe he learned from the pizza guy.
