We Are All Perceived As Security Threats

The uproar over the firing of Juan Williams by NPR continues as more people from both sides of the political spectrum weigh in, in favor of the pundit. While there are extreme views on both sides, the common theme is that NPR was looking for a reason to fire Williams and this was the opening. Other people at NPR had made inflammatory statements in the past and they still work there so this cannot be the sole reason he was dismissed.

Williams was fired about 36 hours after his statements on the FOX News channel and came after pressure from the Muslim group CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) which started a campaign to address the issue. CAIR is a group that claims to be for American Islamic relations but has been tied to terrorist organizations and generally works to impose Muslim views on America. Since it is unlikely anyone from NPR knew what Williams said (how many of them watch FOX) the pressure from CAIR was more than likely what drew attention to it and caused the dismissal. CAIR’s initial response was:

‘NPR should address the fact that one of its news analysts seems to believe that all airline passengers who are perceived to be Muslim can legitimately be viewed as security threats,’ CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said. Daily Mail UK

This might come as a shock to Nihad Awad but Muslims are viewed as a security threat as are all other people who choose to fly. Everyone MUST go through security at the airport and be screened because we are all viewed as a security threat.

One would think that we are no longer viewed as threats once we are screened but this is not the case. People and their possessions are subject to search at any time once past the security checkpoint. There have been too many incidents of attempted terrorist attacks on aircraft by people who successfully made it through security to believe that once people have been screened, we are safe.

Since a huge number of those attempted attacks have been by Muslims it is not unjustified or bigoted for Muslims in full garb (which announces they are Muslims) to be viewed as a security threat.

If little old blue haired ladies were attempting or threatening to blow up planes on a regular basis then Juan Williams would be apprehensive when he saw little old blue haired ladies on his flight.

The difference is, he would not be fired for expressing that feeling and the rest of the liberal echo chamber would agree with him.

How many acts of violence have Tea Party members initiated? None, but they are viewed as dangerous by the left wing in this country and they are routinely disparaged. No one has been fired for calling them names, saying they were dangerous or calling them radical.

But let someone express how he feels with regard to the people from whom most of the terrorists have come and he is fired.

So Nihad Awad orchestrated a campaign to get Williams fired and NPR complied because it helped with what they and George Soros wanted anyway.

But none of this takes away from the fact that Williams was correct in what he said and that what he said was not bigoted. It just helped Soros push his agenda and it allowed CAIR to claim victim status once again.

All of us who fly are considered security threats and that includes the Muslims who are up in arms at the very insinuation.

I think this incident will cause the government to cut funding to NPR. But what about donations? Do you think they will go up or down? Williams might get the last laugh…

And those who travel by air will still maintain vigilance when flying especially on planes with Muslims in full garb.

NPR Axes Williams For Straying From The Herd

National Public Radio (NPR) is funded by donations and US taxpayer dollars and it is supposed to provide unbiased reporting. The reality is that NPR is a partisan leftwing organization that serves as a mouthpiece for the Democrat party.

Juan Williams was an employee at NPR and he also appeared as a guest on a number of shows on FOX News. I rarely agreed with his point of view but I always found him to be thoughtful and well versed in politics. Sometimes his reasoning changed my mind on a topic and other times I thought his views clearly wrong but I always knew that his views were thoughtful and based in reality.

NPR was not happy that Williams appeared on FOX. They did not like the NPR being associated with a conservative network and they were out to get him.

Make no mistake, NPR has no problem with left wing liberal/progressive types and is more than happy to be associated with them. George Soros is providing money for NPR to hire 100 political reporters and you can bet that they will all be left wing partisans, contrary to what a network funded with taxpayer money should be.

Recently, Bill O’Reilly was on The View and he got into a tiff because he said Muslims attacked us on 9/11 (which is as true as saying the Japanese attacked us in WWII). Williams was a guest on O’Reilly’s show and made a statement that provided NPR what it needed to fire him.

Williams responded: “Look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

Williams also warned O’Reilly against blaming all Muslims for “extremists,” saying Christians shouldn’t be blamed for Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.

Williams did not stay on the plantation and spit out the left wing mantra so NPR ended his contract.

I can’t imagine Williams would have been fired if he had said that he worries when he gets on a plane and sees military guys because Tim McVeigh was in the military or if he said that he worries when he sees people dressed in Christian garb because they kill abortion doctors.

He might have been fired for that but I seriously doubt it.

He was fired because he said something about a group of people who have claimed the mantle of victimhood, a designation the left is more than happy to promote.

It is unacceptable to say such things especially if you are from the liberal plantation because liberals do not tolerate any point of view that does not agree with them. One only needs to look at the NAALCP political report about the racist TEA Party to see that if one does not agree with the left then that person must be a racist (homophobe, Islamophobe, etc). Much like the NPR, the NAALCP is full of left wing people who are more into politics than doing what they were intended to do (that report is designed to have an affect on the upcoming election and serves NO other purpose).

Williams is part of that liberal establishment and he was shut down quickly because he went to an organization that presents points of view from both sides of the political aisle but is the demon of the left. George Soros is spending millions of dollars to shut down FOX and anyone associated with it. His money to NPR was seed money to rid the organization of those who strayed from the plantation and to hire partisan liberal reporters.

Williams found out the hard way how tolerant the left is.

Maybe now he will wise up and become conservative where a diversity of opinions is welcome.

Just look at the comments of the NPR article. A number of people say they did not agree with Williams but appreciated his point of view. Those people are not the liberals though there are a few libs who stray from the plantation long enough to commend him.

This episode is a warning shot from Soros and the rest of the people trying to ruin this country. The message is loud and clear, stray from the herd and you will be taken out.

Soros is into extinguishing people who do not toe the liberal, new world order line. Look at how he is going after Glenn Beck…

As a young man George Soros helped the Nazis and now he is helping the Socialists. He is an evil man and the sooner he meets his father, Satan, the better.
