US Cracks Down On Illegal Immigration

The United States government has finally done something to crack down on illegal immigration. The US has produced a video warning people from another country that they need to know the laws before coming to the US. Now one would think with millions of people walking across our southern border from Mexico the video would be directed at Mexico.

No, all the money spent on the video was to warn Israelis not to come here illegally and the video even has a few Israelis who have been scammed by an illegal operation that dupes people. They get to the US and find out they are here illegally and end up banned from coming back.

Most of the folks coming from Israel did not set out to break the law, they were duped. Yet, our government saw fit to invest a lot of money in a video aimed at a relatively small number of people. Don’t get me wrong, if people are coming here illegally they need to be dealt with. But we have to figure if the benefit is worth the cost and we need to ask why such an effort is not in place and aimed at Mexico?

You see, the folks in Mexico are coming here illegally and they KNOW they are coming here illegally. Hell, their government helps them come here illegally. And the funny thing is there are more Mexicans here illegally than the entire population of Israel.

Yes, we have between 12 and 20 million Mexicans here illegally and the population of the entire country of Israel is just under 8 million. The entire country of Israel could come here illegally and it would still not be as bad as the problem from Mexico (and we would get more skilled labor).

Our government spent a lot of money to educate a small number of people from Israel (most the victims of a scam) about coming here illegally while it continues to ignore the southern border where millions of people walk in as if they own the place.

I know that this regime is hostile to Israel but it seems that this is just a bit too much.

How about they stop wasting money on these videos and start doing some real border control? How about the government turn its focus toward Mexico and worry about catching the huge number of people entering illegally from there.

The folks coming from Israel seem to be getting caught without any special focus and obviously they were caught before the video was made. How about letting the Israeli government educate its people on immigration rules and while they are at it they can go after the criminals scamming people. We can then turn our attention to the south and close the floodgates down there.

Focusing on the south would give us more bang for the buck. We can change that focus to Israel when millions of Israels come here illegally and commit violent crimes. I have a funny feeling that illegal immigration from Israel will never reach the level Mexico has achieved (its a simple numbers game).

I also bet our government will never be as serious about the illegals from Mexico as it has demonstrated it is with the illegals from Israel…

Save The Illegals By Building A Wall

The number of illegals who are dying in the desert while entering the US illegally has risen this year, particularly in a region of Arizona where it has been particularly hot. Illegals who are trying to enter our country by breaking the law are being fried in the hot sun and are dying left and right. There are so many dead illegals that they are being stored in a refrigerated truck.

Personally, I don’t particularly care about illegals frying in the desert. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want these people to die and I have no desire for them to die but I also know that they are responsible for what is happening. They are breaking the law and dying in the process. I have as little concern for this as I do for a bank robber who falls off a ledge and dies while trying to break into a bank or a liquor store robber who gets shot and killed by the owner of the store.

I just do not particularly care that these people dropping dead as a result of illegal activity.

But I know there are plenty of bleeding hearts out here who will say that this is some kind of travesty and that we need immigration reform to help these people.

During the decades we have given blanket amnesties and they came with a promise to secure the border. The border is not secure and people can just walk right in (weather permitting). If the Congress had kept its word and built the wall on the southern border we would not be having all these deaths in the Arizona sun.

Congress, and now Barack Obama, are responsible for these deaths because they refuse to build a wall until they get immigration reform. They are giving hope of amnesty to a lot of people who are setting out on a dangerous trek where many of them die.

We need a wall to keep them out and to keep them alive.

But mostly to keep them out.

Obama Regime Files Suit Against Arizona

The Obama regime has filed a lawsuit against the state of Arizona declaring that its immigration law is unconstitutional. The suit claims that under the supremacy clause of the Constitution, the federal government is responsible for immigration and the states cannot have their own immigration policies.

The Arizona law mirrors the federal law but the Justice Department claims the Arizona law will cause problems for people who do not follow federal law:

The legal action represents a thorough denunciation by the government of Arizona’s action, declaring that the law will “cause the detention and harassment of authorized visitors, immigrants and citizens who do not have or carry identification documents” while altogether ignoring “humanitarian concerns” and harming diplomatic relations. Yahoo News

Federal law already requires non citizens to carry their documents so how could any of them be harassed by the Arizona law?

The federal government is responsible for immigration and it is failing miserably. Obama refuses to secure the border until he gets immigration reform and while he dithers, people cross the border. His idea of security is to post signs telling Americans that it is not safe to travel in parts of Arizona because of illegals. This is not leadership.

If the feds have the Constitutional authority for immigration what is to stop a state from determining if you are in the state illegally? States should have the right to arrest people if they are in the state illegally. It would just so happen that the people are in the country illegally but Arizona is not trying to capture people in the country illegally, just those in the state illegally.

Why is it that Arizona is under attack from illegals and from our federal government? If the government was doing its job then the Arizona law would be unnecessary. Instead, American citizens are under siege from criminals, drug traffickers, and other illegals who drain us of our resources.

As for the concern over diplomatic relations, who cares? Mexico encourages its people to come here illegally and helps them do it and there is little concern from them when Americans are attacked or murdered at the hands of the illegals. That country certainly has no regard for our laws and no concern for diplomatic relations.

Good fences make good neighbors and we can solve most of the issue by putting up a wall that keeps them OUT.

Obama refuses to do his job because he wants immigration reform before he secures the border. He is concerned that closing the border will take pressure off the immigration reform issue. We have played this game before. Each time this country has granted amnesty it came with a promise of securing the border. Each time we ended up with more illegals waiting for the next amnesty program and an unsecured border.

NO immigration reform until we close the border.

And Arizona should keep right on going regardless of what the feds do. It is their state and they have a right to preserve their sovereignty.

Brewer To Obama: Do Your Job

After Arizona passed its immigration law the liberals went nuts and started screaming about racial profiling even though the law mirrors federal law and even though none of them had, at the time, read the thing. The Obama regime is suing Arizona over the law saying that immigration is a federal issue and the states are not allowed to make immigration policy. If the federal government had done its job this would not be an issue but Obama is not willing to secure our borders until he gets immigration reform passed. Governor Brewer of Arizona takes issue with the regime’s claim that the border is more secure now than ever.

Imagine that. The Arizona border is so secure that there are warning signs indicating that illegal aliens and drugs are being smuggled in and that it is not safe for American citizens to be in those areas. If the federal government was doing its job then we would not need these signs and Arizona would not need to enact laws to enforce immigration. As Governor Brewer put it to Obama; Do your job.

I don’t understand why Brewer does not put her national guard troops on the border and heavily arm them. The troops belong to the state unless they are federalized. Since they have not been federalized (at least not all of them) she can use them as she sees fit to protect her state. Heavily arm them and tell them to apprehend those who enter illegally and that if violence breaks out to use lethal force.

While Obama is engaged in extortion with regard to securing the border after immigration reform the area along the border (and as far as 80 miles in) is being ceded to the Mexicans who come and go as they please.

As far as the lawsuit goes, what leg does the federal government have to stand on? Will it claim that immigration enforcement is the responsibility of the federal government and that states are not allowed to make immigration policy?

If this is the argument then how does the federal government explain sanctuary cities? Providing sanctuary to illegal aliens is an immigration policy and if Arizona does not have the legal right to make policy keeping illegals out then other places have no legal right to enact policy to keep illegals in.

If Arizona loses the lawsuit then all sanctuary cities must be eliminated.

Even if Arizona wins, it has the only policy designed to actually uphold the rule of law but I bet the liberals will never see it that way.

I am with Governor Brewer and the people of Arizona on this. If the feds can’t do their job then it is up to the adults to step in and take care of things.

Or, to paraphrase Obama; we don’t need the people who caused the mess to be saying a whole lot about it. Just get out of the way and let us get things done.

Rapist Was Deported Four Times

The KING 5 Investigators have learned that an illegal immigrant accused of raping a woman in Edmonds Sunday has been deported nine times. That’s much more than previously reported.

A man who raped a woman in Washington was deported four times in the last 15 years. A police officer heard a woman screaming for help and when he went to where she was he found Jose Madrigal on top of the woman and arrested him. She claims that he offered her money for sex and when she told him no he forced her into the bushes behind a store.

Madrigal is being held on a rape charge and is also being held for Immigration. If this puke is released to be deported before he is tried for the rape then the people who deport him should be put in jail in his place.

This would never have happened if we enforced our immigration laws. If the federal government was doing its job then this guy would not be here but since our government is lax in this area, a woman suffers the horrible fate of being raped by him.

People wonder why a huge majority of people in this country stand with Arizona in its fight to combat illegal immigration. We are tired of these criminals coming here and attacking our families. We need to put this punk in jail for the rest of his life and we need to secure our borders so people like him are kept out. If you live in a sanctuary city and are happy with that idea or you favor open borders then you are part of the problem. You, Barack Obama and all the other people who allow these people to come here unabated are just as responsible for this rape as the man who actually committed the act.

No one could blame this woman’s husband or father if either eliminated the vile piece of crap who did this.

Tell Calderon this is one of the reasons that Arizona is right and why he needs to get his country’s affairs in order.
