Obama’s Illegal Immigrant Drunken Uncle

The Obama family has a history of ignoring American immigration laws. His alleged daddy worked to subvert the law, he has relatives who have subverted the law and his drunken Uncle Onyango has subverted the law. Hell, Barack Obama is likely in violation of the law but his tracks are well covered (ahem, ignored).

In any event, Onyango has been in the US since 1963 and has been here ILLEGALLY for decades. He received a deportation order and has been in violation of that order since 1992.

Onyango was supposed to be deported but he received a DUI and his deportation was delayed to allow the legal proceedings. That final stay ended in June of this year but he is still here.

In a move that is described as unusual, his case has been reopened by the Board of Immigration Appeals. Looks like Obama’s buddies at ICE (which falls under DHS) are looking out for his family.

His drunken uncle (who ran a liquor store no less) has been here illegally for decades and was scheduled to leave. Obama wins reelection and suddenly the case is reopened. The move could allow Onyango to become a permanent resident. This would seem to run contrary to what the regime tells us about keeping illegals who have no records and deporting those who have committed crimes. Then again, the Obama regime is nothing more than a crime family running the government.

Nothing to see here folks, move along.

It must be nice to have friends in high places.

Or, given Obama’s drug use, high friends in places.

Cave canem!

Cut Off Their Federal Funds

A college in California is offering a scholarship to immigrants and the criteria recognizes ILLEGAL immigrants. That is right folks, an illegal immigrant is eligible for a scholarship that your citizen children are not.

A public community college in California has set up a scholarship fund for immigrant students — including illegal immigrants. The $2,500 scholarship has sparked anger by some, including at least one lawmaker who is threatening to cut off federal funding to the school. FOX News

This school receives federal funding and it is time for them to drop the eligibility of illegals or lose federal money. End of story.

Mona Charen of NRO Skewers Ron Paul

I am not a Ron Paul supporter but to be clear, I have not gotten on the bandwagon of any candidate. I need to see more before I take a decision as to whom I will support. I understand there is a big net roots campaign for Ron Paul of Texas. I have written in the past that I like most of Paul’s views on domestic policy but I have some real issues with his foreign policy especially with regard to the war on terror in Iraq. I just can’t get my hands around this idea that we caused the attack on 9/11.

However, I have found that Paul appears to be an honest man with strong devotion to his ideals. While I might not agree with all of them, I can see his is true to them and does not flip flop around like many other candidates. Mona Charen of NRO wrote a piece about Paul and in it I think she went out of bounds. She makes some good points but then likens him to some of the groups who happen to support him. She also took a stab at him because he received money from a person (or people) who have bad beliefs.

I do not think a politician has to give back money just because the donor has ideas that others do not like. This is not to say that candidates like Hillary Clinton should be able to keep money that was donated under questionable circumstances which border the realm of illegality (if they are not down right illegal). This goes for all candidates but when donors just happen to be people with whom others disagree it is unreasonable for anyone to expect them to return the money. The politician in question does not have to agree with the donor to accept the money.

Imagine if Clinton were required to give back money from the gay and lesbian or ILLEGAL immigrant support groups because others found their positions detestable? Of course Hillary agrees with the groups so that makes it easier but I imagine that she would accept money from any conservative group that donated it legally regardless of their positions. If the person wanted Hillary to win she would take their money no matter what positions they personally held as should any politician, so long as the donations are legal. Charen makes the leap that Neo Con (a term that more people than Paul use) is shorthand for the Jews. How many times have Democrats used that term and why have Jews not found it offensive?

There is a little battle going on and the Paul campaign sent a letter to clear up some of Charen’s assertions. Whether or not that will do any good is hard to say.

However, it might be helpful if the Paul supporters stopped inundating email in boxes with their ardent support for Paul. Ticking off the people who have the power to write widely read columns does not seem to be a smart course of action.

Illegal Beaners Need not Apply

Imagine if employers had a sign in their business that read the same as the title of this post. Imagine the uproar that all the ILLEGAL immigrant groups and the other amnesty seekers would cause. The owner would be called a racist, threatened by the feds, have protest marches at his store and he would be drummed out of business but not before he had to attend sensitivity training. I imagine if he said that the word beaner was not meant as an insult to anyone it would make little difference. Given Dennis Kucinich’s opposition to the word ILLEGAL, the employer might get executed.

According to the Washington Times, “A Casa Furniture and Bedding store in Alexandria has been advertising easy credit with a twist: “no gringo papers” necessary.” The word gringo is an offensive word used to refer to a foreigner in Latin America [usually American or English]. An assistant manager says the word gringo is not meant to offend anyone.

Yeah, good luck with that. Of course, it will be overlooked and no one will require the sign to be removed. The ACLU will not file a law suit and these folks will continue to insult Americans in their own country.

BTW, the person tried to explaining that people needed no white papers and that is why the word gringo was used. The Spanish word for white is blanco so if they wanted to say white paper blanco would be the word used.
