A Rose By Any Other Name

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) issued a memo instructing employees to no longer refer to all the illegal aliens in the country (particularly those flooding the country in the Obama manufactured humanitarian crisis) as aliens. In particular, the children who had been referred to as Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) will now be referred to as unaccompanied children (all lower case unless grammatically proper to use capitals).

This is an attempt to remove some perceived stigma that arises from referring to these illegals as aliens. The reality though, is that they are aliens.

In the United States, an alien is “any person not a citizen or national of the United States.” The U.S. Government’s use of alien dates back to 1798, when it was used in the Alien and Sedition Acts. U.S. law makes a clear distinction between aliens and immigrants by defining immigrants as a subset of aliens. Wikipedia

The truth of the matter is these children are aliens. If ICE wanted to be correct about it they should be referred to as ILLEGAL ALIEN CHILDREN because all of them are here illegally.

This situation is a crisis manufactured by the petulant little man in the White House. He wants immigration reform and he is not getting his way so he is manufacturing this crisis so he can whip up a few Executive Orders to bypass Congress on the immigration issue.

It also falls well within his plan to employ the Cloward-Piven Strategy. Illegals old enough to drive have been applying for licenses and the welfare system is being flooded with applications. These illegal aliens are being absorbed into the system all over the country and will begin using resources to which they are not entitled and have never paid into.

This will help overload the social welfare system and crash the US economy (it is already on the brink) so Obama can follow through with the Cloward-Piven Strategy in which welfare would be replaced with guaranteed income, the kind of level playing field Obama loves to push.

The other reality is these ILLEGAL ALIENS (hope that helps ICE) are spreading diseases and illness across the nation. The unhealthy are being moved all over and that increases the chance for exposure.

How long before an epidemic happens because of the Obama manufactured crisis?

It matters not what we call these people the absolute truth is they do not belong here. I don’t care what any agency calls them as long as they are getting them out of here.

They belong in their native countries and if Obama had any testicular fortitude they would be.

Then again, this is just how he planned it.

Maybe we can arrange for the sickest of them to be relocated to the White House…

Cave canem!

This Is Why We Have An Illegal Immigrant Problem

The reason we have a problem with illegals running all over the place is that the federal government has refused to do its job. The federal government has few actual duties but one of them is to protect our nation. They are failing miserably in that duty and this failure goes back many decades and through many presidents.

We the People are sold a bill of goods each time this issue comes up. The Democrats want more people who will vote for them and the Republicans like the idea of a cheap source of labor so they both work to keep from closing the border. The problem is, they promise to close it each time they grant amnesty. They say that we will never again need to grant amnesty because the laws will be enforced and the border secured. Then they ignore it until 10 million new Democrat voting cheap labor illegals file back in and the cycle starts over.

The people are tired of it and are holding politicians accountable. The governor of Arizona signed a bill into law that will allow the state to legally investigate and check the status of any person believed to be in the state illegally. There are strict provisions in the bill requiring that the person already be in contact with law enforcement for another infraction of the law and the list of documents that prove legal status is extensive. But this has not stopped the morons on the left from yelling about racial profiling and how the law might be abused.

These morons are OK with immigration laws being abused by illegal immigrants with the help of the Mexican government (all the way up to and including the president of Mexico) but are worried that this law might be abused.

It is so bad now that the federal government has indicated that it might not process illegal immigrants that are referred from Arizona. That is right folks, the same people who are ignoring the illegal immigrant problem will ignore the state of Arizona when it refers illegals to Immigration because the feds do not like the Arizona law:

“I don’t think the Arizona law, or laws like it, are the solution,” [John] Morton told the newspaper.

The best way to reduce illegal immigration is through a comprehensive federal approach, he said, and not a patchwork of state laws. FOX News

Mr. Morton (remove the ‘t’ in his last name and it is more accurate) does not think that the Arizona law or ones like it are the solution. What he thinks is the solution has not been done by the federal government and it is not likely to be done by the federal government as long as there are votes to be had and illegals to pander to. To demonstrate further stupidity, Morton will ignore illegals referred by Arizona. How can ignoring referrals make things BETTER?

The referrals would not make things worse. They would represent people caught here illegally and who could be sent home thus making the job of the feds easier.

No Mr. Morton, the answer is not federal government inaction and waffling. What will it take before you people decide that you should do your job? What will it take until you secure the border and start dealing with the illegals?

As for Arizona, they should just keep illegals in jail until Immigration picks them up. If the feds don’t show then those people will be in jail for a long time.

Better yet, take them to LA and drop them off. Maybe Arizona could dump them all off in DC somewhere around where all the politicians live. I am sure they will not mind the illegals there and most of them probably need yard work done…

Here is a message for Obama and the rest of the federal government”

You Got To TCB

Here we go again- talking about illegal immigration, but this time it is in the context of law and order, not jobs that could very well be the tipping point here. I am not real concerned yet for my state, as Texas probably has as many guns as any of these punky little “cartels”, but there has been a disturbing trend of people who haven’t the moxie to live near a border where bullets fly move to Texas, thinking that Texas is as settled as New Jersey, or Vermont. I am sure we are not. I am glad we still retain a wild streak in our habits and habitat.

But living near a border with Mexico is not as it once was, where you could take a weekend and go shopping for knick-knacks and quaint antiques among the throng at the Mercado- a block- long building where you could haggle prices to your heart’s content. Nowadays, you would have to dodge bullets from the narco- terrorists, if you were not just kidnapped for ransom, or just for the heck of it.

“It’s very hard to stop this trend,” a senior military official in Ciudad Juarez said, speaking of the unyielding bloodshed. “We are fighting an enemy we don’t know and don’t see and only feel their results.”

The drug gangs appear as strong and as vicious as ever as they fight not just for smuggling routes but for shares of the growing domestic market. Mexican cartels are now the dominant force in an industry once led by Colombians.

And it’s heading this way, despite the best efforts of the military in Mexico- but then they have had the tradition of the “mordidia” or the bribe, as a way of life down there for as long as memory serves, so the crookedness begins in infancy for many, accepted as a way of life.

Now, narcos take refuge in Phoenix, Arizona, and Houston, Texas, where they feel somewhat safer, but it is an illusion, as Phoenix has now the dubious honor of being the second most likely city in the world to be kidnapped. The sad truth is that in the absence of a tightened border, this is all coming to a neighborhood near you.

Troops were dispatched in February this year to the northern border state of Nuevo Leon, Mexico’s wealthiest and long a symbol of relative stability. Traffickers quickly mobilized low-level dealers and their families to protest the military presence and to create the impression that the traffickers had a broad social base. Monterrey, the capital, and other cities were paralyzed for days.

Then the army started arresting police in Monterrey and other Nuevo Leon municipalities. In early June, troops backed by federal agents rounded up dozens of police officers and several commanders. When the police got wind of what was happening, they challenged the troops and tried to block roads.

As punishment, the federal authorities ordered the police to turn in their rifles. A day later, they confiscated their cellphones, suspecting the cops were using them to pass intelligence to traffickers.

A politician from the Monterrey area’s richest district was caught on tape describing the power of the drug lords. Mauricio Fernandez is heard saying that the area was relatively peaceful because the Beltran Leyva cartel wanted it that way.

“Their families live here,” he said. “You don’t think it’s the police [that maintain order], do you?”

Despite the presence of the army, the cartels are attempting to maintain a base near the border from which they can  smuggle both drugs and people into the United States. From there, they begin to establish bases of operations in various cities, and that is where ICE comes into the picture. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement organization is supposed to return the illegal immigrants to the countries of their origin, but lately, Hussein’s administration has tried to relax the enforcement aspect of this, in order to go after the employers of illegal aliens. Some of these “aliens” have no job other than smuggling, and these are who absolutely must be taken off of the streets.

A little after 3 a.m. Dec. 12, Carlos Garcia-Hernandez was booked into Harris County Jail on an aggravated assault charge, accused of slicing a man’s nose down to the bone after a disagreement at a birthday party.

At the jail, the first in the country with full access to a Department of Homeland Security database that contains millions of immigration records, a Harris County detention officer ran Garcia-Hernandez’s fingerprints.

Within minutes the system found a hit. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents had deported Garcia-Hernandez in November 2007 after a string of convictions including marijuana possession and escaping from law enforcement custody, the system showed.

The DHS system also showed Garcia-Hernandez had two outstanding murder warrants in Mexico. “A year ago, we wouldn’t have gotten that,” said Lt. M. Lindsay, the point man for the Harris County Sheriff’s Office’s efforts to identify suspected illegal immigrants in the jails.

Still, ICE doesn’t get nearly all of these violent offenders, indeed, their rate is about 25% right now, and that is not good enough for our people. The “Immigration Czar” or whoever in this twisted administration is responsible for enforcement needs to actually do their job and to hell with La Raza, or LULAC, or the ACLU or anyone else who cries foul, because our people, our citizens deserve the best protection possible, and if that includes a wall, barbed wire, and/ or guards with guns, Do It.

The rolling army patrol was summoned to a bleak neighborhood called Rancho Anapra. In the waning desert light, a man lay lifeless in the dusty street. He had been shot four times, in full view of a dozen houses.

Residents regarded the arriving troops with bored expressions, amid a cacophony of barking dogs.

There were many bystanders, but few witnesses. “Puro mirón,” grumbled a military police officer. “All just onlookers. We could ask them, but nobody will know anything. Nobody saw anything.”

The scene encapsulates one of the government’s biggest challenges in the drug war: overcoming the deep mistrust of ordinary Mexicans. “Only when something happens — that’s when they come,” said one of the bystanders, Laura Valdivia, 36, who works in a factory that makes fake Christmas trees.

Other than his name, Daniel Chavez, and age, 35, no one seemed to have much to say about the victim, whose torso was a spider’s web of tattoos.

The crowd slowly evaporated. In darkness, the body was hauled away and the soldiers clambered back onto the pickups, knowing as little as when they arrived.

Scenes like this will be coming to a neighborhood near you, if we aren’t careful- in some places, like Houston, Phoenix and Los Angeles, the scene is already there in dying, bleeding color.

It’s up to Mexico to take care of it’s side of the equation, after all, they are a country with their own laws, but we must aggressively enforce ours- now is not the time to quibble about half- measures needed to stem the flow of drugs and people across the border. If we dawdle, we die- it really can be that simple.

And the downside is that if the Federal Government does not do this., it will be up to the border states to do this, and then the Feds will just have to shut their mouths and sit on the sidelines and accept what and how the states do take care of this problem we all have, and believe me, it won’t be pretty.

It’ll be pretty bloody.

Our Government Allowed this to Happen

A 24 year old ILLEGAL immigrant who has been deported from this country before and who was on probation for a 2007 DUI (which means they had him again) was driving drunk and struck a woman pinning her up against her car bumper. The legs of 38 year old Lilian Clark were crushed and had to amputated above the knees. ILLEGAL immigrant Francisco Pacheco does not have a license and does not have insurance and he has a past DUI. There is no doubt he should not have been driving and there is absolutely no doubt that he should never have been here in the first place.

The federal government is 100% responsible for this tragedy and should be held accountable for failure to enforce the law. Because the government did not do its duty, Lilian Clark will raise her two children without her legs. There is no getting around the fact that the government is completely responsible for this and the countless other accidents that occur which involve ILLEGALS. Idiots like Geraldo Rivera can say that the status of this guy made no difference but it did. He should not have been here because he is ILLEGAL so if he were not here Lilian would still have her legs. You can bet if this had been Geraldo’s wife or daughter he would be singing a different tune.

McCain-Kennedy was the bill and Bush was the big name pushing it. These three amigos wanted to give millions of these low life law breakers amnesty so they could be free to roam our streets and cause all kinds of problems. I am sure that stories like this one do not phase any of these so called leaders because they have a blind eye toward ILLEGALS. They want more of them here. Hell, if Ted Kennedy sobers up long enough to hear this story he might give the ILLEGAL a medal for driving drunk and hurting a woman. Kennedy would tell him to do better next time to ensure he kills her, and then make him an honorary Kennedy.

This kind of crap happens all the time. I think that if something is not done real soon people are going to start taking matters into their own hands. This ILLEGAL fled and was chased by Lilian’s neighbors who held him until police arrived. Why didn’t they sit on him and smother the low life so he would never hurt anyone again? Soon it is going to be open season.

Lilian’s husband is part of the Minutemen. I am sure a lot of those fellows are going to be extra vigilant in real short order. Maybe a bunch of little Juans will start disappearing in the desert….

God bless Lilian and prayers to her and the family.
