Sometimes the paper would sit on a story for a while and when they finally released it that would claim that they had held onto it because of pressure from the White House but that the public interest was best served by releasing the info. You had such a right to know that some Democrats leaked info as well…

The information released involved methods we used to track terrorists, the fact that we intercepted their phone calls and any number of other items dealing with our security. If it was a national security secret then it was a sure bet the NYT would release it.

Recently a terrorist made his way on an airplane and tried to blow it up. The Transportation Security Administration sent out a memo about increased security and that memo was not supposed to be released to the public. Evidently, several bloggers got hold of it and published it.

Were they honored as serving the public’s interest? Were they deemed to have the best interest of the country at heart? Were they held up in liberal worship as the NYT is?

No, they were served subpoenas and told that they had to divulge who gave them the information. The government used its ham handed techniques of threatening the livelihood of the people if they did not cooperate and laptop computers were taken. While the terrorist who tried to blow up the plane has received the best medical care in the world and was read his Miranda Rights two people who broke no laws are being harassed by the government.

I can understand the TSA being a little touchy because this is the second time in a month that confidential information belonging to them has wound up on the web. They have a leak and it is up to them to find it.

I have no problem with the government trying to keep its secrets secret but the review should involve looking at the people who work for the agency. Look at the emails and see who sent it out and fire that person.

If government is this hell bent on pursuing leaks then I expect to see subpoenas hit the NYT next time there is a leak.

Of course that leak won’t be until there is a Republican in the White House…

There is a little bit of flack going on right now because the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has complained to the FBI about some comments made at a few blogs. The blogs in question were Little Green Footballs and Gateway Pundit and evidently a commenter left something that suggested blowing up a minaret being built in St. Louis. The comment was removed when it was discovered but CAIR complained to the FBI and asked that they investigate. Of course, the FBI takes every case of threatened violence seriously, unless those threats are against people who are not Muslims.

I personally do not give a damn if CAIR gets upset. Sure, making a comment about blowing up a structure is over the top but this is America and the person, no matter how deranged, has a right to speak his mind and Charles Johnson had the right to remove the comment. If a person wants to write those things he should do it at his own blog so that others are not affected by it. BTW, the terrible thing Gateway Pundit did was comment on how the call to prayer would go over great in St. Louis. Oh my God, call the FBI. I think it was over the top and I probably would have removed it as well because it could be perceived as a threat. If someone were to say that he wished all Muslims would get struck by lightning and disappear or that he hated all Muslims, or that it would be nice if Iran’s nukes detonated and killed all of them then that would be OK because these cannot be perceived as a threat.

CAIR would object anyway but who gives a damn about them? They are a terrorist organization that supports terrorists. Ibrahim Hooper is an idiot who uses intimidation to stifle opposition to him and his group. He is the SS for the Nazi terrorists who carry out evil deeds in the name of Mohammad, the child molesting prophet. Well screw CAIR. I just don’t give a damn about what bothers them. I don’t care if their poor feelings got hurt because someone does not like them. They are upset because someone said something that might be an indication of violence. Where are these sand fleas when Ahmadinejad calls Jews a bacteria and says that Israel should be wiped off the map?

I will give a damn about what CAIR thinks and says when I am done giving a damn about all the Muslims who make threats to the US, to Israel and to the rest of our allies. I am still a bit busy giving a damn about Muslims blowing up retarded women and killing children, sawing off people’s heads and rioting over cartoons. I am busy giving a damn about Muslims who hijacked planes and flew them into buildings killing 3000 of my countrymen. So as far as CAIR goes my give a damn is a bit overwhelmed to really care what bothers them.

Those low life, cry babies at CAIR should start worrying about why people have a bad impression of Muslims. It is not because the world is full of bigots (most of the bigots are the Muslims anyway) or that we all hate brown people. We have a bad impression because Muslims still act like they are in the stone ages. If they want to worship a child molester that is their business but all this blowing people up and rioting every time someone breaks wind makes a bad impression. Couple that with the realization that most major acts of terror committed in the last 20 years have been by Muslims and CAIR’s complaints ring hollow. They can be upset but screw them.

Start acting like human beings and maybe people will treat you like human beings. As for the FBI, perhaps they should get up off their sixes and investigate CAIR and its ties to terror. Perhaps the FBI should be working to get this group out of this country so we do not have to be subjected to harassment by our government in the name of a terrorist organization.

CAIR is no good and they should not be here. If they don’t like what I have to say, screw them because I just don’t give a damn.

Copyright © 2012 Big Dog. Visit the original article at http://www.onebigdog.net/boycott-berkeley/.

Who would have ever thought that a city in the United States would view members of the military as uninvited and unwelcome intruders? Well it has happened and while that might be a bit of a surprise, where it happened will surprise no one. Berkeley California has decided that the Marines at a recruiting station there are not welcome and they have done so with a 6-3 vote after which the Mayor stated:

“I believe in the Code Pink cause. The Marines don’t belong here, they shouldn’t have come here, and they should leave,” said Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates after votes were cast. Contra Costa Times

Unless I missed something that cesspool of a city is still in the US so how can Marines not belong there. The Marines are part of a group of people who made it possible for the idiots in Berkeley to say what they want and to vote this way. The Marines are doing their job and to their credit none of them have beat the hell out of the protesters who harass them all the time.

The City Council there also gave code pink a free parking space in front of the station and a free unlimited noise permit for certain times so that the group can continue to harass the Marines who have shown remarkable restraint in all this. It is unfortunate that they have to put up with a bunch of aged hippies who go through life stoned while trying to relive the “glory” years of the 60s.

I believe the federal Government should pull the Marines out of there and remove all other military units including National Guard and Reserve Units. Then the government should stop all federal money from going to the town. Not one damned cent should go there. I have read where many are saying that if a disaster occurred there that people would be begging for military support and those folks said the military should refuse to go. The reality is the people who serve are much better than the self serving twits who infest that city and they would go help to make sure their fellow citizens were helped. The military would be there for the very people who want them out.

I know I will never visit that place and I would like to see all other real Americans boycott the place. Let the liberal twits who agree with them buy from them. Don’t go there and if you absolutely have to be there for any reason then don’t buy anything. If the place gets hit with an earthquake or fire then don’t send your money to help them and if you belong to a fire department do not volunteer to go help. I imagine if the place was burning they would be begging for military helicopters to do water drops. Screw them.

Maybe the next time a terrorist decides to fly a plane into a building we will be lucky and it will be the City Council in Berkeley and get rid of the mindless twits that pretend to be Americans.

I am tired of people who treat the members of the military badly but have no problems living under the blanket of freedom afforded by those very members.

Let’s ship them to Club Gitmo!

Boycott Berkeley! Let’s save the seals and club Code Pinko members instead.
