Attax On Media Matters

The left wing group Media Matters exists to attack right wing news sources and to refute stories about people (and polices) on the left. The organization is biased and will defend a liberal (or liberal policy) and cast doubt on any accusation about the liberal (or policy) even when it is obvious that the liberal (or liberal policy) is wrong.

It should come as no surprise because this organization is set up to defend the liberal/progressive policies of the left and to cast doubt (or lie) about those on the right. It has a goal of bringing down FOX News.

I do not care what MM does because it has a right to exist and it has a right to say and write what it wants. It is up to others to wade through the lies and determine what is accurate and what is not. Or one could do as I do and ignore the site and what it writes. I only look at it when some liberal links to it to prove its point. You know how it is, a liberal finds a site that agrees with it and that site becomes the gospel for the liberal in question. All well and good.

I do however; have a problem with Media Matters being tax exempt. The organization does not meet the requirements for being tax exempt and it should not be getting away with, how should I put this so liberals will understand, oh yeah; not paying its fair share.

Charles Krauthammer is quoted in the Daily Caller as saying that Media Matters can be as nasty as it wants but it should not ask for government subsidies.

I know that it is a liberal organization so it would be nearly impossible for it to survive without government subsidy (see Air Amerika) though George Soros might throw even more money into the mix to keep his propaganda arm in service.

I also find it ironic (and hypocritical) that Media Matters is in business to push the liberal/progressive agenda and is on top of the phony stories about conservative tax policies or that the rich don’t pay their fair share blah, blah but is set up in a fashion so as to avoid paying taxes.

Typical liberal double standard. It should not be much of a surprise though considering the organization calls itself “Media Matters for America” and then proves daily that media only matters if it is left wing media. The cause of this nest of drones is to find conservative misinformation in print and broadcast media and to provide rapid responses to such misinformation. If media actually mattered then wouldn’t ALL media matter? No, this group does not care if you receive misinformation from the left because that helps to push the liberal agenda and helps them generate more mush heads who follow liberals.

So we should remove its tax exempt status and make it rename itself to “Only Left Wing Media Matters To Us.”

We Are All Perceived As Security Threats

The uproar over the firing of Juan Williams by NPR continues as more people from both sides of the political spectrum weigh in, in favor of the pundit. While there are extreme views on both sides, the common theme is that NPR was looking for a reason to fire Williams and this was the opening. Other people at NPR had made inflammatory statements in the past and they still work there so this cannot be the sole reason he was dismissed.

Williams was fired about 36 hours after his statements on the FOX News channel and came after pressure from the Muslim group CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) which started a campaign to address the issue. CAIR is a group that claims to be for American Islamic relations but has been tied to terrorist organizations and generally works to impose Muslim views on America. Since it is unlikely anyone from NPR knew what Williams said (how many of them watch FOX) the pressure from CAIR was more than likely what drew attention to it and caused the dismissal. CAIR’s initial response was:

‘NPR should address the fact that one of its news analysts seems to believe that all airline passengers who are perceived to be Muslim can legitimately be viewed as security threats,’ CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said. Daily Mail UK

This might come as a shock to Nihad Awad but Muslims are viewed as a security threat as are all other people who choose to fly. Everyone MUST go through security at the airport and be screened because we are all viewed as a security threat.

One would think that we are no longer viewed as threats once we are screened but this is not the case. People and their possessions are subject to search at any time once past the security checkpoint. There have been too many incidents of attempted terrorist attacks on aircraft by people who successfully made it through security to believe that once people have been screened, we are safe.

Since a huge number of those attempted attacks have been by Muslims it is not unjustified or bigoted for Muslims in full garb (which announces they are Muslims) to be viewed as a security threat.

If little old blue haired ladies were attempting or threatening to blow up planes on a regular basis then Juan Williams would be apprehensive when he saw little old blue haired ladies on his flight.

The difference is, he would not be fired for expressing that feeling and the rest of the liberal echo chamber would agree with him.

How many acts of violence have Tea Party members initiated? None, but they are viewed as dangerous by the left wing in this country and they are routinely disparaged. No one has been fired for calling them names, saying they were dangerous or calling them radical.

But let someone express how he feels with regard to the people from whom most of the terrorists have come and he is fired.

So Nihad Awad orchestrated a campaign to get Williams fired and NPR complied because it helped with what they and George Soros wanted anyway.

But none of this takes away from the fact that Williams was correct in what he said and that what he said was not bigoted. It just helped Soros push his agenda and it allowed CAIR to claim victim status once again.

All of us who fly are considered security threats and that includes the Muslims who are up in arms at the very insinuation.

I think this incident will cause the government to cut funding to NPR. But what about donations? Do you think they will go up or down? Williams might get the last laugh…

And those who travel by air will still maintain vigilance when flying especially on planes with Muslims in full garb.

NPR Axes Williams For Straying From The Herd

National Public Radio (NPR) is funded by donations and US taxpayer dollars and it is supposed to provide unbiased reporting. The reality is that NPR is a partisan leftwing organization that serves as a mouthpiece for the Democrat party.

Juan Williams was an employee at NPR and he also appeared as a guest on a number of shows on FOX News. I rarely agreed with his point of view but I always found him to be thoughtful and well versed in politics. Sometimes his reasoning changed my mind on a topic and other times I thought his views clearly wrong but I always knew that his views were thoughtful and based in reality.

NPR was not happy that Williams appeared on FOX. They did not like the NPR being associated with a conservative network and they were out to get him.

Make no mistake, NPR has no problem with left wing liberal/progressive types and is more than happy to be associated with them. George Soros is providing money for NPR to hire 100 political reporters and you can bet that they will all be left wing partisans, contrary to what a network funded with taxpayer money should be.

Recently, Bill O’Reilly was on The View and he got into a tiff because he said Muslims attacked us on 9/11 (which is as true as saying the Japanese attacked us in WWII). Williams was a guest on O’Reilly’s show and made a statement that provided NPR what it needed to fire him.

Williams responded: “Look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

Williams also warned O’Reilly against blaming all Muslims for “extremists,” saying Christians shouldn’t be blamed for Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh.

Williams did not stay on the plantation and spit out the left wing mantra so NPR ended his contract.

I can’t imagine Williams would have been fired if he had said that he worries when he gets on a plane and sees military guys because Tim McVeigh was in the military or if he said that he worries when he sees people dressed in Christian garb because they kill abortion doctors.

He might have been fired for that but I seriously doubt it.

He was fired because he said something about a group of people who have claimed the mantle of victimhood, a designation the left is more than happy to promote.

It is unacceptable to say such things especially if you are from the liberal plantation because liberals do not tolerate any point of view that does not agree with them. One only needs to look at the NAALCP political report about the racist TEA Party to see that if one does not agree with the left then that person must be a racist (homophobe, Islamophobe, etc). Much like the NPR, the NAALCP is full of left wing people who are more into politics than doing what they were intended to do (that report is designed to have an affect on the upcoming election and serves NO other purpose).

Williams is part of that liberal establishment and he was shut down quickly because he went to an organization that presents points of view from both sides of the political aisle but is the demon of the left. George Soros is spending millions of dollars to shut down FOX and anyone associated with it. His money to NPR was seed money to rid the organization of those who strayed from the plantation and to hire partisan liberal reporters.

Williams found out the hard way how tolerant the left is.

Maybe now he will wise up and become conservative where a diversity of opinions is welcome.

Just look at the comments of the NPR article. A number of people say they did not agree with Williams but appreciated his point of view. Those people are not the liberals though there are a few libs who stray from the plantation long enough to commend him.

This episode is a warning shot from Soros and the rest of the people trying to ruin this country. The message is loud and clear, stray from the herd and you will be taken out.

Soros is into extinguishing people who do not toe the liberal, new world order line. Look at how he is going after Glenn Beck…

As a young man George Soros helped the Nazis and now he is helping the Socialists. He is an evil man and the sooner he meets his father, Satan, the better.

Move On Hides Smear Of Petraeus

General David Petraeus was a punching bag for the people at MoveOn, a George Soros organization that is dedicated to supporting Barack Obama and his Socialist agenda. MoveOn is the cheer leading section for Obama and it uses Soros’ vast resources to hide the truth and to rewrite history with regard to Obama so it should come as no surprise that this organization has removed its assault on Petraeus from its website.

In a classic example of liberal hypocrisy, the far-left leaning, George Soros-funded group MoveOn.org has removed its controversial “General Betray Us” ad from its website.

For those that have forgotten, shortly after General David Petraeus issued his report to Congress in September 2007 concerning the condition of the war in Iraq and the success of that March’s troop surge, MoveOn placed a full-page ad in the New York Times with the headline, “General Petraeus or General Betray Us?” Newsbusters

The removal occurred sometime after the 18th and there is no doubt it was done when Obama named Petraeus to take McChrystal’s place in Afghanistan. After all, the ad was on MoveOn for YEARS and disappeared just as Petraeus was announced.

This is nothing more than cowardice and the MoveOn folks doing whatever it takes to push the agenda of Obama. Petraeus was a bad guy when he was conducting the surge in Iraq because Bush was president. Now that Obama occupies the White House and wants Petraeus to pull his gonads out of the fire, MoveOn removes the ad.

Petraeus was a bad guy but now he is a good guy just like Colon Powell was. He was evil when he worked for George Bush but a hero when he endorsed Obama (because of his skin color).

It is all about hypocrisy. MoveOn is a BS Socialist organization funded by the cretin George Soros and they, along with Media Matters, protect Obama and the Socialist agenda. They want to control the world and get rich at our expense and they want to do it by pushing Obama’s agenda to destroy transform America.

Screw MoveOn and George Soros. We know what you coward progressive morons did and we know why you did it.

The people who hang on every word you say or support what you do might be too mentally deficient to see it but the rest of us can.

Never surrender, never submit.

Obama Cops Out on Public Financing

Obambi

Today Barack Obama released a video on his campaign website informing his supporters that he is opting out of public financing and that the reason is because it is a “broke system.” Don’t pay any attention to that crap because it is an outright lie. Barack Hussein Obama is opting out because he does not want to be limited by how much he can take in. He is amassing huge quantities of money and he would not be able to accept any more of it after the Democratic Convention. That is the ONLY reason he is opting out.

Sure, he gave the boiler plate excuse of a broken system that is effectively gamed by his opponents but that is a ruse to take away the perception that he is the same old money grubbing politician as all the others that he criticizes. Obama had earlier stated that he would be happy to come to an agreement with the Republicans on public financing and at that time he never indicated that the system was broken. He is telling supporters that the Republicans have lobbyist money and all the 527 groups to pay their way and attack for them. The reality is, Obama has the 527s and George Soros is one of the biggest contributers. Obama has the support of MoveOn.org an organization that is paying for and running attack ads against John McCain. Notice that Obama never mentioned all the support he gets.

Newport Barack

It is also important to note that Obambi did not get all his money from Joe Six Pack giving $5 and $10. Obama accepts special interest money and he accepts from lobbyists and PACs. He just does it in a more clandestine fashion. You see, he will take the money from family members of those people. It does not take a genius to figure that it is all the same money and that he WILL owe political favors. Obama has received more money than any of the other candidates (current and past) from the pharmaceutical industry. Make no mistake about it, Obama is as smarmy as the rest of them despite his claims to the contrary.

As I stated, Barack Hussein Obama is swearing off public financing because he wants to keep raking in the big bucks. Of course, John McCain has gamed the system as well and the sweet irony is that his landmark legislation on campaign finance reform seems to be biting him in the rear.

Neither of these men wants to accept public financing. The first reason is it will limit them to what they may take in. The second is, they do not want an election of the people. The idea behind public finance is:

The program is designed to rein in out-of-control spending by the presidential campaigns, provide candidates with enough funds to run a viable campaign and minimize the leverage special-interest money has in the process of electing a candidate to country’s highest office. Common Cause

You don’t actually think these two, or any of them for that matter, actually want this now do you? They want special interests involved and they want to become wealthy in the process.

Barack Hussein Obama can claim he is a fresh change, a new kind of politician, or the cure for what ails us but he is really nothing more than a lowlife Chicago politician who is smarmy and as slick as Clinton.

The system is now broken when he made no mention of that before. I guess what Obama is saying is; “This is not the public financing I knew.”

UPDATE: I got a follow email from his campaign extolling the virtues of Obama’s decision:

Even though we stood to receive more than $80 million in taxpayer funding for our campaign, the system has been so gamed and exploited by our opponents that it is effectively broken.

This is a half truth. Obama could have gotten 80 million dollars in taxpayer money but only if he did not accept any more donations after the convention. That bit of information is missing. The email also informs us that McCain has 527 support without mentioning the 527s heavily supporting Obama. And of course, this is all topped off with a request for money. Make no mistake, this is a ploy. Obama did what is best for him. The system is not broken, it just does not work in his favor, which I guess is the Democrat’s idea of broken…

UPDATE 2: The Washington Post, of all papers, is criticizing Obama and calling him on his reason for not accepting public financing:

Mr. Obama had an opportunity here to demonstrate that he really is a different kind of politician, willing to put principles and the promises he has made above political calculation. He made a different choice, and anyone can understand why: He’s going to raise a ton of money. Mr. McCain played games with taking federal matching funds for the primaries until it turned out he didn’t need them, and he had a four-month head start in the general election while Mr. Obama was still battling for the nomination. Outside groups are going to come after him. He has thousands of small donors along with his big bundlers. And so on.

Fine. Politicians do what politicians need to do. But they ought to spare us the self-congratulatory back-patting while they’re doing it.
