High Tech Lynching

While the left screams about TEA Party members wanting blacks lynched (a baseless claim) the left is engaging in a high tech lynching of a black conservative. The story that Herman Cain was accused of sexual harassment and that an investigation turned up nothing has not stopped the left wing media (the Democrat wing) from lynching him. The baseless claims line up with the smear job The New York Times did in manufacturing (in 2008) the equally baseless claim that John McCain had an affair.

The left is very fast to jump on the lynch train when it comes to Herman Cain even though the allegations appear baseless. When it comes to their own they ignore the facts to provide protection.

Bill Clinton accused of rape and caught (and verified via DNA) having sex with an intern. He lied about it and the Democrats defended him during the impeachment he suffered for perjury. The left said it was a personal affair, a matter of sex between consenting adults. Nothing to see here so move along.

John Edwards is another example. He denied, denied, denied and then bam, the facts came out and not only did he have an affair while his poor wife was dying of cancer, he fathered a child. He was eventually shunned by his party but not until the evidence was so overwhelming (and sleazy) that there was no way to deny it.

Jesse Jackson, the paragon of virtue, fathered a child with someone that was not his wife. He is still regarded as a spokesperson for the disadvantaged minorities in this country (or those who have been told so often they are disadvantaged that they act like it).

We are all human beings and we all make mistakes. These men suffered their issues in public because of who they are. The untold numbers of people in the same situations are unknown to all except their family and friends because they do not live in the public’s eye.

The problem arises when allegations such as those against McCain and Herman Cain are manufactured and people do not give them the benefit of the doubt because of politics. Clinton and Edwards deny it so it must be false. Cain denies it and he is lying…

Wouldn’t it be better if the NYT did not make up the McCain story?

Wouldn’t it be better if Cain received the same consideration Clinton and Edwards did when the left kept telling us nothing was going on? It has not been shown that Cain did anything wrong. If it turns out that he did then fine, skewer him and send him on his way.

The idea that he needs to be ruined over baseless accusations is one of the things wrong in our political system.

It would have been nice though, if the MSM had spent as much time vetting Obama as it does looking to destroy Republicans.

Certainly there were a few things in Obama’s past that were liabilities. Of course they are not a problem when the MSM is burying legitimate stories.

Then again, the left only lynches blacks who have strayed away from the Democrat plantation.

Cave canem!
Never surrender, never submit.

MSM Can’t Ignore Edwards Story Now

For about a year John Edwards has been denying stories by the National Enquirer about an alleged affair. Edwards denied the affair and he lied to the American public when he did. For the most part the MSM ignored the story. A few decided to look into it but then declared there was nothing to the story while others just ignored it completely. It was easy for Edwards to call the story a lie because it came from a sleazy publication.

The only problem, as it turns out, is that the Enquirer had it right. John Edwards admitted to having the affair though he continues to deny that the child of his conquest is his. All the so called reputable media outlets ignored this story while the Enquirer plodded along until it got the scoop. The same media that could not wait to jump on Mark Foley and Larry Craig ignored the Edwards issue and now that issue is leaving egg on their faces.

John Edwards was absolutely correct when he said there are Two Americas. In one, the media are relentless in pursuit of Republicans who have done something wrong. In the other America Democrats get to do what they want and the media leaves them alone.

John Edwards has true belief in what he says. He believes in his Two Americas idea so deeply that he has a woman in each one.

Is Edwards’ Bus a Campaign Omen

John Edwards, who put all of his eggs in a basket named Iowa, decided to launch a 26 hour tour around the state in order to talk to the voters again prior to tomorrow’s caucus. While in route to an event his bus broke down and the candidate and his staff had to scurry to get into vans and dash off to the event. They were more than 45 minutes late in reaching a group of people who did not appreciate the tardiness. Of course, anyone can be excused for a mechanical breakdown.

However, in the big picture, the bus is symbolic of Edwards and his ideas. Both are tired and broken down. Edwards espouses big government with increased taxes in order to enact more social spending programs. Americans, who are already over taxed, would pay even more under an Edwards Administration. The same can really be said about all the Democratic candidates because they all want higher taxes (they say it is on the rich but then they define rich to include many people who are anything but) to pay for universal health care, an idea that has failed in every country in which it has been tried, despite Michael Moore and his propaganda film to the contrary. Hillary claimed that America could not afford her ideas and she is right.

The Edwards bus is really be symbolic of the Democratic contenders because even though they talk change and fresh ideas, their views and desires are old plans that have been part of the Democratic play book for decades and they, like the bus, are broken down and useless.

Edwards put a lot in Iowa where he has been campaigning for the last four years and a stroke of bad luck might sound the funeral dirge for his campaign especially since Obama seems to be firing on all cylinders. It will be interesting to see if he can rebound and have a strong showing tomorrow. If he loses Iowa and has a poor showing in New Hampshire we might see him with a one way bus ticket home.

Well, at least his car is working well enough to chase ambulances…

Elizabeth Edwards Worries About Huckabee

Elizabeth Edwards has been brought out on various occasions to attack others on behalf of her husband. Her favorite target has been Hillary Clinton and my belief is that John used her so he would not be seen as a man attacking a woman. Elizabeth has had her go rounds with Ann Coulter as well but probably because John is afraid of Ann.

Now Elizabeth is out attacking Republicans who she says we should all fear. Her named target this time was Mike Huckabee who Edwards ridiculed for not believing in evolution. I am not going to rehash the evolution idea and why it makes no sense or why people hold it as gospel truth despite the fact it has never been proven and that it is a theory. The theory of evolution is much like the theory of Global Warming in the minds of Democrats. They believe it so it must be true and they will repeat it as true so often that it will become ingrained in people. Global warming and evolution are taught in schools as if they are proven science and this is done to brainwash a generation of school kids so they grow up to be little tree-hugging liberals. The libs have to find a way to replenish their ranks because they are aborting their children thus removing future generations of liberals.

Speaking about Republican candidate Mike Huckabee, who recently surged ahead in Iowa polls, Elizabeth noted, “He seems like a nice charming guy,” before saying that Huckabee, “doesn’t believe in evolution and has some nutty views about what it is we should do about ending violence in our inner city — we should make sure all of our young people are armed. Republicans scare me.” Political Radar

Elizabeth also went on to talk about Karl Rove and how he might not be working in the White House but is working in the “back” of the presidential race. It would seem that Rove is the Republican she is most afraid of. Elizabeth said that Republicans scare her and they should. Republicans stand for things that run counter to the liberal psyche. Republicans are against abortion, against universal health care, against socialism and against big government (though you would not know it by the way some of them act). Edwards wants the government to run every aspect of our lives and this is not the way a free society is supposed to be. She wants socialism and her belief in liberal ideals shows that she is a rich elitist who believes she knows what is best for the average person in this country. She can talk about helping the poor all she wants but if she really wants to help them perhaps she can get her husband to stop being involved in things that hurt the poor.

As for Huckabee and evolution. I do not agree with many of the things that Huckabee says and he is not in my first tier of candidates but he has a right to believe or not to believe what he wants. His belief on evolution is based in his religious teachings and using this as a qualifier for office puts a religious test on his candidacy. That is her right as a private citizen but it is not a test that can be used by our government to determine if he is qualified to run. Just as Romney’s Mormon religion does not bother me, Huckabee’s position on evolution does not bother me and it would not even if I believed in evolution.

The bigger question is; why does John Edwards keep running his wife out to attack other candidates? If he so cowardly that he cannot make these attacks on his own or is she a surrogate who he can later say was expressing her own views? It won’t matter because what she says will be tied to him just as Bill Clinton’s words are tied to Hillary. Maybe John figured he needed to have a spouse attacking other candidates just as Hillary is doing.

No matter what the reason, Huckabee is not running against Edwards in the primary and, as it appears right now, Edwards is not close to winning his party’s nomination. Perhaps he and his wife should spend their time attacking those against whom he is running.

He can’t ever take on a Republican if he does not get past the Democrats.
