Blind Allegiance Means Taken For Granted

I do not agree with the Congressional Black Caucus on most issues and I actually see no need for a black caucus but one exists and it appears that its sole function is to address the unique needs of the black community.

What unique needs? When one removes the descriptive terms from in front we are left with the word American. We are all Americans and have similar needs. We have a need for limited government that provides a safe environment where we can pursue our dreams and employ our talents. We want our children to receive a good education that prepares them for their futures. We want the ability to work and earn our own money and the freedom to spend it as we see fit.

Unfortunately, the black community has a unique set of needs because it has allowed itself to become slaves to the Democrat Party. The black community allowed racists like LBJ to put policies into place that made generations of blacks dependent on government so that as years have passed the black vote is a guarantee for Democrats. This was Johnson’s plan all along. He basically said that if he could get blacks (he used a racial term) on government programs then Democrats would have voters for years to come.

This has happened as generations of blacks have been bought off with government programs designed to keep them in poverty and keep them voting Democrat. About 95% of blacks vote Democrat so the voting block is considered a lock. Democrats do not have to spend time wooing blacks. When elections draw near the Democrats remind black voters of all the stuff they have been given, how Democrats take care of them, how Republicans are racists, and if they want to keep their programs they need to keep voting for the Democrats.

This has worked for a long time as evidenced by the huge percentage of blacks who vote for Democrats. Democrats are so sure of the black vote they care little if their actions offend black voters.

Back to the CBC. The CBC was upset with Obama in his first term because the Caucus felt he did not address things like the high unemployment rate among blacks and that he did nothing to address the unique needs of the black community. BUT, they endorsed and voted for him. Partly because he is black but mostly because he has a D after his name. The fact that he was ineffective did not keep them from voting for the plantation master.

It is obvious that blacks are enslaved by the Democrat Party. Any person of color who decides not to follow the Democrats is subject to a figurative public lynching by the Democrats. They become Uncle Toms and house Negroes (not my words, the words of Democrats of all colors). Look at how Alan West and Condi Rice have been treated.

If the CBC had the same list of grievances against a Republican president as they do against Obama they would not endorse that president (they would never endorse a Republican anyway) and would do everything they could to defeat that person in the next election.

The CBC doubled down on Obama because he is a Democrat.

The CBC is upset with the new cabinet selections Obama has made because they are all white folks. They had the same concerns in his first term and were very upset at his selection of a Hispanic instead of a black for a position. Why would Obama do this?

Perhaps he is paying off political debt. Perhaps he is selecting the people he thinks are the best for the job. Perhaps he is trying to do to Hispanics what LBJ did to the blacks. Perhaps he is a racist. Who knows?

The reality is that George Bush selected two black folks as Secretary of State and achieved two firsts. First black and then first black woman.

Obama has no such record and his lack of diversity is not sitting well with the CBC and its constituents.

This is what happens when a group votes in lockstep and holds a huge allegiance to one party. The vote is taken for granted because Democrats know that no matter what they do they will still get well north of 90% of the black vote. Democrats have made racist remarks, have shunned blacks and have ignored them and they still vote Democrat.

History is on Obama’s side because history is on the Democrat’s side. That history is a blind allegiance of blacks.

Blind allegiance leads to being ignored. If the CBC and the black community wants respect and wants its voices heard then it needs to start being informed when it votes. It needs to vote against those who have been in power for decades and who have ignored them for decades. If the black community voted out these people in mass and showed that it is capable of independent thinking and will hold politicians accountable then they would be paid more attention.

Until that time they will always be second class citizens to the Democrats, the party of slavery, Jim Crow, and racism.

Come on over to the Republicans side. Come share your conservative values among our party and see what it is like to be welcomed with open arms. Come to where you will be treated like individuals and not a reliable voting block. Come to where you can grow and prosper.

Or stay in the plantation and wait for scraps from the master’s table.

No matter what Democrats tell you, the choice is yours.

A Paying For Problem Is A Spending Problem

Congressman Steny Hoyer, a moron from Maryland, said that the country does not have a spending problem; it has a “paying for problem.” Yes, this moron actually said this. He might be right depending on the definition of spending because it seems there is no problem when it comes to that task. The problem is spending too much.

We have a paying for problem because we spend more than we have. In Hoyer’s limited ability to comprehend, we only have a problem because government has not confiscated more of our money to pay for the spending. You see, if only they could steal more from us, then there would be no problem.

If you had little or no money and went out and bought something on credit and then coul not pay for it what would be the root of your problem? Would it be a paying for problem (yes, you definitely have that if you can’t pay your bill0 or would the root cause be that you spent money you knew you did not have?

Hoyer also took his obligatory shot at George Bush and Republicans:

Well, we spent a lot of money when George Bush was president of the United States in the House and Senate were controlled by Republicans. We spent a lot of money. Real Clear Politics

George Bush was responsible for four trillion dollars in increased debt in eight years. Obama is responsible for a six trillion dollar increase in four years. It is time to stop blaming Bush for the past and focus on the failures of the present guy and his band of merry morons.

Steny put on your big boy pants and start accepting responsibility. Perhaps you can talk to the members of your party in the Senate and find out why they have failed to pass a budget for the last four years. There is a little thing called a law that mandates them to do so.

I am sure I am wasting my time because Hoyer is not a very smart guy. I am surprised they let him out in public without one of those safety helmets on.

Steny, I will type this slowly for you. The US takes in lots and lots of money each year. You guys keep spending more than that. Perhaps you all can focus on things that will get the economy going again and millions of people can get jobs. Then they can pay taxes and solve your alleged paying for problem.

Keep in mind that no matter how good the economy is we always (absent accounting gimmicks) run deficits. Even the alleged Clinton surplus actually ran a deficit.

You can make anything look good on paper.

The only thing Clinton balanced was his marriage and his affair and that, like his math, failed.

I am glad that Hoyer is not my representative. I would not want to have to communicate with him as it would lower my IQ.

What Does The B In EBT Mean?

It appears, from the recent news, that the B in the Electronic Benefits Card actually stands for Bar, Booze or Booty because quite a few EBT cards are being used at bars, strip clubs and liquor stores. But, but, these folks can’t use those cards for such things because the cards are for essentials like food, formula and diapers.

Well that would be the case if we only issued the cards to people who were in need. If we issued them to the truly needy to meet their essential needs and not to people who have it quite good and have learned to game the system then we might have something that works.

Instead, we issue these cards to people who have figured out how to get cash with them and then use the cash to buy items that are not allowed. We issue them to people who drive nice cars, have smart phones, wear the nicest clothing, have jewelry that is top notch and who have wads of cash probably from jobs that are paid under the table so as to keep those benefits coming.

I have been to the store and witnessed people using the EBT card for food (really nice and expensive food) and then pulling out a wad of cash to buy a carton of smokes. I am not talking a few twenty dollar bills I am talking a wad of cash that would put a drug dealer to shame. These folks (and I see them often, not rarely as some would suggest when claiming there is no problem) then go out and get into a very expensive car to take all their free goodies home.

I realize there are plenty of people who might have these nice things and an EBT because they are foster parents and the money is for the children under their care. I have no problem with that and am sure I could tell the difference. The folks I see are gaming the system as they have been taught to by generations of welfare and generations of liberal policies that take from one group and give to another thus enslaving those folks to their masters in government.

These folks become dependable voters because they will vote for the people who promise them more “free” stuff.

Barack Obama and his minions will scream about raising taxes on the rich and claim that spending is not the issue but the reality is that we have billions and billions of dollars in waste because government is inept and can’t keep track of these things. Government is not interested in finding this waste because it likes people being subservient to it. This is why the government wants to take our firearms, to enslave all of us and not just the welfare class of low information voters who feel they are “entitled” to what they get.

We need to go through each and every case and decide if the people on welfare should actually be. We need to check and if they have suspicious EBT use. We need to get a list of their assets and see if they have expensive stuff. If so then they do not need welfare.

People with actual needs would continue to get welfare as would those who care for foster children. They are the folks these programs were designed to help and we need to make sure they are the only ones that get the help.

Before you liberals scream that the elderly is the biggest class of people on welfare because of Social Security or Medicare keep in mind that while these programs need to be reformed to exclude those who should not be getting those benefits, those who paid in really are entitled. They paid for this on a promise the government would use the money to care for them. If government had not spent the money on other things there would be plenty of it to pay those who receive the benefits. Well, there would be if we got rid of those who scam the two systems with phony claims for disability and other such things the system was never designed to pay for.

In any event, we need reform of everything and we need it now. No debt ceiling increase, no tax increases and lots of spending cuts.

Period.

How long before those of us paying taxes stop sending you the money? We had excessive taxation and attempts at gun confiscation in the past. The result was the birth of the USA.

What will the next result be?

Obama Consults With Mental Midgets From MSNBC

The United States is in a financial crisis and the budget deal struck in 2010 is ready to rear its ugly head as the Bush era tax cuts expire and automatic budget cuts go into effect. While I think that it would be better to allow it to take place rather than give in to higher taxes and no cuts my opinion does not really count much in the process.

But, the opinion of Obama should count and he should be involved in the process. One would think he would seek out the council of people who actually know economics, like say Paul Ryan. Ryan has a degree in economics and is a good numbers person. Obama has not sought Ryan’s opinion. In fact, he has demonized Ryan and his plans.

So in between the golf games and the endless campaigning (hey Barry, you allegedly won so get to work) Obama has decided to avail himself to the process. If a deal is to be done (and I think he would be happy going over the so called fiscal cliff and blaming Republicans) then Obama wants it done soon because he and his family are going on a taxpayer funded 4 MILLION dollar vacation at the end of the year.

Obama has decided to get the opinions of some real budgetary heavy weights from MSNBC. Yes, Barack Obama had Al Sharpton, Rachael Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell in the West Wing to discuss tax rates.

What do any of these mouthpieces of the Democrat Party know about any of this? What kind of objective opinion can they provide given that they are shills for Obama and have all espoused raising taxes on the people who pay most of the federal income taxes to begin with.

I find it particularly strange that Sharpton is involved given that he has not paid his fair share. Big Al owes 3.7 MILLION dollars in taxes and penalties because he has not paid his fair share. He is all about screaming for others to pay but, like any liberal, he does not want to pay what he owes. Hell, Sharpton is more qualified to be Treasury Secretary than to give advice on tax rates (see Tax Cheat Tim Geithner).

Barack Obama does not have a clue. He should be working with his Democrats to provide meaningful discussion on the process. He should be looking for ways to cut spending while leaving tax rates alone unless he is in favor of LOWERING them. Lower rates will stimulate growth and spending and result in more revenue to the Treasury. If they don’t spend the additional money like they always do then we can use it to pay the bills and begin to retire the debt.

These are all items that can be discussed but in order to have any meaningful discussion the talks have to be with people who a) know what they are talking about and b) are actual involvement or influence in the process.

The Democrat operatives at MSNBC have no influence in the process and they certainly do not know what they are talking about.

The fact that Obama would insult Ryan and ignore his opinion and instead seek out O’Donnell, Sharpton and Maddow is just another demonstration of why Obama is the least qualified person to run this country (or anything for that matter). He is out of his league.

But at least by hanging with these hacks he can at least appear to be the brightest in the room…

What You Won’t Find In Romney’s Tax Returns

Harry Reid has made the claim that Mitt Romney did not pay taxes for the past ten years. This is a matter of public record even though Obama followers will tell you that Reid only said he was told that Romney paid no taxes. Reid though, went on the Senate floor and said it was known that Romney paid no taxes. Reid made this allegation and then said it was up to Romney to prove otherwise by releasing his tax returns.

Though it does not surprise me that a Democrat would lie I am amazed that a guy like Reid would make such accusations considering that Reid was not wealthy when he entered the Senate and is now worth millions of dollars. Reid has been involved in shady real estate deals and involved in legislative actions that were designed solely to enrich HIM. Harry Reid will tell you he has released his financial disclosure forms but he has not released his taxes. I would like to see those for the time he has been in the Senate so we can see exactly how he got rich. I believe he got rich by breaking the law and it is up to him to prove otherwise.

Now Barack Obama has an ad out that implies Romney paid no taxes. This is an act of desperation. The Obama regime has no dirt on Romney and there are no divorce records or criminal records for him to have his cronies unseal. Romney is pretty clean when it comes to those things so the Obama regime must get into Romney’s tax records so it can manufacture a myth about Romney not paying taxes.

Romney has paid more in taxes than most of these people have earned in their lives but this will matter not to the Obama throng.

I have never seen Romney’s tax returns but he has released those for the last two years. We can only imagine that all his others are like these. They have complicated dealings with all kinds of calculations and additions and deductions for more transactions that most of us will ever deal with in our lives. They are very complicated and it would be quite easy to manipulate the numbers to give the impression that Romney did something wrong. This is what the left wants to do.

As an aside, I looked at Barack Obama’s tax returns and they are quite complicated as well. He has income from his book deals and he had money he transferred to his children as gifts. These gifts were then written off his taxes. How would the left feel if people went through those tax forms and said Obama gave those gifts to reduce his tax burden (he is rich so why did he do it)? Keep in mind that anyone could go through Obama’s complicated taxes and make things appear bad just as they could do for Romney.

Romney’s tax returns, like those of Obama and countless other wealthy people, are complicated and those who dig deep enough can find things that could be spun to appear questionable.

But there is absolutely one thing that cannot be found in Romney’s tax returns and that is:

Nowhere in Romney’s tax returns will anyone find the reason that Obama has performed so terribly over the last four years.

That’s right. The reason Obama has done a terrible job is not in Romney’s tax returns.

The only thing that the left will find is another set of distractions to keep people from focusing on how bad Obama has done and how terrible our economy is.

Period.

Quit looking at the shiny stuff and pay closer attention to what is going on.
